Chapter 1; Runes, Ruins and Legends!
Our story starts on a small island located away from the mainland. This island is known as Nami No Kuni and it's a small nation. This island has many mangroves and rivers running through it which is normally filled with various forms of life. Right now though it is as silent as a graveyard. Part of the reason for this silence was the troubles this small island nations was going through.
The other reason is the hero of our story. She is a young girl of the tender age of 11. Her long blonde hair is tied into pigtails which flow over her shoulder until mid way her back. Her skin is a beautiful bronze reflecting an intimate entanglement with the very sun. Her eyes are a shade of blue that would have the sky green with envy. Right now they are red and rimmed with tears. Our hero is not very tall as she stands at an underwhelming 5 feet 2 inches. She's dressed in a horrendous orange and blue jumpsuit that quite literally paints a giant target on her back. This girl is Naruko Uzumaki and she's kunoichi from the village hidden in the leaves.
She's trying not to cry because she hand just found from a scroll that the reason she had been hated all her life, the reason why her ability to have children, and most importantly the reason she could never truly sleep peacefully had been placed upon by her so called parents. She had found this out by reading the scroll she had found in her home before she and her team had left for this mission. The scroll told her who her parents were, told her what they had decided to do and even told her their reasons. She had been turned into the village's martyr, their punching bag, the scapegoat. All because of some stupid prophecy told by some old toad to a stupid old man. This prophecy spoke of a savior born from two great and powerful shinobi that would wield great power and save the world. The stupid old man had decided that apparently her two twin sisters were the ones who would save the world and that they needed to be trained and focused on to do so.
She had been left behind and abandoned for this purpose. They had the nerve to thank her in the scroll and told her that once they returned to the village the family could be reunited. This was making Naruko feel heartbroken. How could anyone leave their very own child to suffer and think everything would be okay. How could anyone with a heart do this kind of thing to someone. She didn't know but she did know that her heart hurt and she felt so betrayed. She tossing the scroll away buried her face into her hands and wept. She cried like one would after learning of such things, like the kind of ugly cry that made people uncomfortable in public places. She wept like the legendary weeping woman as her very soul ached from this betrayal. Naruko was away from her team and their client having walked away to cool off after the client's grandson had mouthed off. Naruko had stormed off before she told the kid about her struggles. She had then decided to read the scroll and now she felt shattered.
What Naruko didn't know was that watching her from a tree was something that would change her life forever. This something was large pearl white feline like creature resembling a panther. What set it apart from a panther were the large bat like wings folded on it's back. Also the large canine teeth poking from it's top lip, looking very much like fangs. This creature had bright gold colored eyes that had a supernatural shine to them. This panther like creature also had an ethereal glow, almost signifying an unearthly or unnatural tie. This creature was looking at Naruko with it's golden eyes and could literally feel the utter sorrow radiating from the poor girl.
The creature had been able to read what the scroll Naruko had been reading said. The creature didn't like what it had read and wanted to hunt down the idiots who had done Naruko so wrong and kill them itself. It shook it's head knowing that this would do no good, for the moment. It standing from it's perch in the trees jumped down and landed feet from Naruko. Said girl hadn't even noticed the creature landing, despite the fact that it had landed with a loud thud. The creature then started to slowly approach Naruko.
As it did so it started to shift it's form changing from a panther like creature into was resembled a statuesque woman. This woman had long black hair that was styled into four distinct braids. Each braid was topped off with colorful beads as the rest of her hair was free and flowing. This woman had light brown skin that had an elegant shine to it. She was dressed in a simple black dress that showed off her fit arms and legs.
The woman's golden eyes were locked on Naruko as she slowly approached. Her feet made no sound as they were bare revealing the painted nails and golden bracelets around her ankles. The woman was now directly in front of Naruko as she bent low in order to be eye to eye with Naruko when said girl eventually looked up. She waited for several minutes wondering when Naruko would look up. Several more minutes later and she was done with waiting so she reached forward and gently tapped Naruko's head. This made said girl look up. When she did so her sad blue eyes locked with gold ones. Naruko then yipped as she realized some woman she did not know had managed to sneak up on her and was literally inches from her face.
The woman hearing said yip smiled and said "Hello dear little one."
Naruko shocked by this woman asked "Who are you and what do you want?"
The woman standing to her full height laughed and said "My name is Laura Mishima but you mortals have known me as Auri-El, Bast, Unicron, Final Shenron, The Catalyst, Safi'jiiva, Void Empress Ghidorah, The Entity, Arceus, Diablo, Omnimon, Indominus Rex, The Speed Force, Madness, Rebekah Mikaelson, The Shadow woman, Maleficent, The spirit of vengeance, Symbiote Prime unification of the Satsui No Hado and the Kyosui no Hado, Destined Death, The Greater Will and Slifer the Sky Dragon."
Naruko hearing all of these names felt her eyes widen hearing this as she knew quite a lot of those names. She knew them because the multiple religions in her village would claim to worship or work for one or more of these names. Laura smiling at Naruko said "Now before I say anything else I\m going to take a quick look at your life so far."
This statement made Naruko blink several times. Her eyes then widened and she was about to tell Laura not to, but a hand was placed on her head and everything went still. Not only did they go still in the area they were in, but all of the world seemed to hold it's breath as Laura looked through and over Naruko's memories. When Laura finished looking over said memories she let out a very loud growl. This growl seemed to bring everything in the area to life as the sound of startled wildlife could be heard. Laura absolutely furious snarled and asked "How in the actual fuck do those wretched beings live with their actions knowing damn well they tortured and abused an innocent little girl."
She swiping one of her hands obliterated several trees as she continued with "Those filthy monsters dare to label you a monster."
Laura then spotting the wide eyed and a little terrified Naruko shut her eyes and started to count back from twenty. She getting to one opened her eyes and set them on Naruko. She staring said girl in the eyes watched the emotions play through Naruko's eyes. An idea then hit her mind and the more she pondered this idea the more she liked it.
She knowing that her idea needed to be worked perfectly and worded carefully asked "Naruko-san would it be okay if I asked you several questions?"
Naruko blinked and then nodded. Laura beaming stared with "Are you tired of being put last on almost everyone's list? Do you wish to always be top priority for someone? Are you over being fucked over?"
Naruko blinked at the barrage of questions but opened her mouth to say "Yes, Yes and Yes."
Laura still beaming asked "Do you want the power to save wave without having to rely on your so called teammates? Do you wish for the ability to have a family of your own one day? Do you yearn for a way to truly sleep peacefully?"
Naruko's eyes watered with this set of questions but she managed to get out "Yes to all."
Laura softening continued with "Do you ache for a parent, a guardian, hell anyone to love you unconditionally? Do you desire to cast aside the wretches who so eagerly left you to be a martyr to those spiteful mongrels that dare say they are humans? Do you hope for place to call your own, that cannot be broken into, cannot be vandalized, where your belongings are safe from any who wish you harm?"
Naruko nodded to all of these questions, not having the strength to dare say yes. Laura now smiling asked "Will you allow me to make you my daughter Naruko-san? Will you let me become your doting mother? Will you permit me the right to call you my heir? Will you make me a proud mother bear?"
Naruko's eyes widened hearing this request from Laura. She then started to tremble as she asked "Why me? Why now? Why?"
Laura crouching down to be at Naruko's level said "Because you my dear little one are on the edge of loosing yourself. The betrayal you have just learned of has broken something that cannot be repaired under normal circumstances. Your very soul has been wounded and is hurting."
She reaching out gently set her hand upon Naruko's head as she continued with "Normally a soul that is wounded or broken withers away until it's just a shell of what it once was. I refuse to let that happen to you Naruko. As you have such a beautiful soul and a heart of absolute gold. To be completely honest with you even if you say no, I'm going to fix your soul and grant you a small portion of my power."
Naruko once again weeping tried to stem her tears, as she didn't want her soul to wither and die. Laura wanting to pull Naruko into a hug asked "Can I comfort you Naruko?"
Naruko not being able to stop her tears nodded and was suddenly pulled into the warmest hug she'd ever experienced. Laura feeling Naruko weep into her arms just held the wounded girl close and tried her best to comfort her.
About an hour later Laura now sitting across from the no longer weeping Naruko was waiting for Naruko to answer her question. Said girl wiping the tears from her eyes asked "Even if I say no, you'll fix my soul?"
Laura nodding said "Yes even if you say no I will fix your soul and grant you a small portion of my power. Just enough for you to save wave and be able to handle most threats that may come your way."
Naruko hearing this asked "If I accept what happens?"
Laura beaming at Naruko said "You become my heir, making you my one and only child. Your soul is fixed and reinforced and all of my powers become your powers."
She turning her head with a happy smile and ignoring the widening of Naruko's eyes said "Not to mention gaining your own unique powers, abilities and transformations. A home that none can enter without your permission, a metric shit ton of weapons, skills, jutsu and other things." She smiling at Naruko said "Most importantly me as your adoring mother and I promise you this Naru-chan if you accept and I become your mother, this entire world, nay this entire realm would burn before I abandon you."
Naruko's eyes were circles hearing this. Laura chuckling sat back and waited for Naruko to give her an answer. Naruko shaking her had and closing her eyes thought about everything. She thought long and hard for several minutes. She thought about all of the things she had gone through, all of the pain she had been delivered upon, the sheer amount of betrayal that had been done to her. She even remembered all of the heartache she had endured. All of this served to help her decide. She slowly opening her eyes said "I accept."
Laura hearing this cheered and said "Excellent." She then reaching over to Naruko with one of her hands placed it gently on Naruko's head. She smiling said "Here we go my new precious one."
She then flooded Naruko\s body with her thick and potent energy. Said energy was bright pink and was glowing. This energy coated Naruko's entire body and literally seeped into her soul. Naruko feeling said energy flooding her body winced as it literally burned through her veins. It then started to seep into her eyes and mouth. Naruko could literally feel an intense heat coating her throat and licking her eyes. Naruko didn't scream though, no she bit her lip and endured this pain knowing that in the end it would help her. Laura spotting this smiled softly as she said "Even now you continue to persevere as my energy literally stitches up your soul. Even as I rewrite your very DNA, as I break you from your mortal shell you still hold on."
She then lifting her hand from Naruko's head leaned forward and kissed said girl on the head and said "Your life changes now Naru-chan. This I promise."
Naruko feeling this gentle maternal kiss felt this overwhelming sense of relief flood her body. Laura smiled as the energy she had cloaked Naruko with seemed to settle down after this kiss. She then smiled as this meant Naruko was now her daughter, but more importantly Naruko's soul was now fixed. Naruko with her eyes closed could somehow tell that her very soul had been healed from it's wounded state. She reaching a hand up placed it on her chest over her heart. She with her eyes still shut smiled and said "A mother's love, a balm to my damaged soul."
She then opened her eyes and said "Thank you so much."
Laura smiling brightly said "You're very welcome my precious daughter."
Naruko then shot off towards Laura and tackled the deity in a hug. Laura laughing joyously pulled Naruko into her arms in their first hug as mother and daughter. Naruko nuzzling Laura said "Mamma."
Laura hearing this smiled softly and said "Yes my darling little one. I'm your mamma from this day on, now and forever more."
An hour later Laura and Naruko were no longer in a clearing of wave. No now they were in a pure white room with nothing but an hourglass visible for miles. Laura looking at Naruko was very happy as Naruko had undergone some changes during their hug. First Naruko's formerly blonde hair was now as black as the night and just as beautiful. Second Naruko's blue eyes were now a bright and gorgeous pink. Lastly Naruko had gained about 5 inches in height as she was now 5 feet 7 inches tall. She was still dressed in her horrendous orange and blue jumpsuit but Laura was okay with this.
Naruko turning her head to look around had no clue where they were, but hoped her mom could explain. Laura coughing said "Welcome baby to my personal training ground. Time flows differently in here and gravity fluctuates depending on where we are."
She pausing to let Naruko acknowledge what she had just said. Naruko getting it nodded. Laura smiled and continued with "Now my sweet girl what I mean by time flowing differently is that in here we could spend an entire year, but it would only be half a day in the real world."
Naruko's eyes widened hearing this. Laura feeling this smiled and said "You my darling have just under four days before the big battle for wave is supposed to happen. Which means for the next 8 years here I will be training and bonding with you." She smiling at the shock and awe on Naruko's face said "My plan for our time here baby is to unlock and master as many of your powers, abilities and transformations as possible while also swaddling you in my love and affection."
She gaining a serious look on her face said "When you enter the battle for wave, I want you to be able to handle anyone and everyone that could possibly get involved. Not only that but after you've dealt with them, to be able to blanket yourself in my love to help you get over any fools you had to kill."
Naruko hearing this blinked several times as she processed what she had just heard. She shaking her head once it all had sunk in gained a fire eyes as she said "Let's do it mom."
Laura giggling said "As you wish darling." She then proceeded to pick up Naruko and carry her a good distance from their starting area. She gently dropping Naruko to the ground smiled as Naruko literally struggled to even move.
Naruko feeling like she was wearing 90 pound weights looked at her mother. Laura smiling at her said "This area is one of the places where gravity is different. In this area gravity is 4 times stronger then normal."
Naruko's eyes widened hearing this. Laura smiling said "Your first task baby is to stand to your feet and I mean your feet. Getting to your knees will not count."
Naruko opened her mouth to say something when Laura said "Once you get to your feet we will start with the exercises."
Naruko shut her mouth and then started to try and get up. She was finding it very hard to even move her fingers and toes. She mentally groaned as this meant she was in for a fight if she wanted to make it to her feet. She then huffed and remembered that she had never been nor was she ever going to be a quitter. Laura smiled spotting Naruko start to move more then her toes and fingers as her baby girl started to move her hands and feet. Laura turning to look at the horizon was actually watching as the Namikaze clan made their way back to the village hidden in the leaves. She setting her eyes on the so called children of prophecy snorted as the two girls literally radiated an entitled aura. She then giggled as after this training her baby girl would able to wipe the floor with both girls without breaking a sweat.
She turning back to Naruko beamed as said girl was already on her knees working on making it to her feet. She knew that her one and only heir was going to change the world, no matter if the world wanted it or not. She then giggling created a clone in order to deliver a new prophecy to the summons. This new prophecy would state "A warrior will rise, unlike any other. This warrior will have known the pain of betrayal since her first days. This warrior will be blessed with hair as black as the night and eyes a starling shade of pink. This warrior will had her ability to create children taken away from her by foolish wretches. This warrior will be the one and only child of a powerful deity and will with the snap of her fingers bend reality to her very will. This warrior will remold the world and cleanse it of all that she deem not worthy. Her fury will be apocalyptic and unholy. Her love will be unwavering and in surplus. Every beast from small to giant will bend it's knee to her. Not even the tailed beast will be able to resist. Destined Death and the rune of death will be carried in her hands as she rips souls from bodies and damns them to the shadow realm. The very void will assist her when called upon. Her mortal shell will have been shed in a small island nation in dire need of assistance. She will have answered this call and become a legend in this nation. She is resplendent, she is elegance, she is safety."
Laura finished with the new prophecy turned and smiled as Naruko was up on her feet pouring down in sweat and wobbly but on her feet. Laura beaming sent the clone away to do it's job as she said "Well done baby. Now it's time for you to do 100 squats and then 100 push ups."
Naruko blinked several times hearing this. She then sighed loudly and started to do the squats, ignoring that her body was screaming at her that this was insane. Laura giggling at Naruko's body reaction, agreed with her daughters body. This was indeed insane, but whoever said crazy wasn't good.
Hello my gorgeous flowers this is our first story and a journey into our world or realm. This story is going to be a extremely OP Naruko story. Literally a divine with a multitude of powers.
