Ava sat on her bed as she gently rubbed her aching face. It wasn't the first time her husband had gotten violent with her and hit her. She had gotten used to the pain he inflicted since she would get into fights as a kid. Sometimes she ended up being punched in the face but in the end she always won. However, she would always get scolded by her mother for getting into fights. Her father would always give her a gentle but stern talking every time she got into a fight or she had argument with her mother. She sighed deeply as she gently traced invisible lines on her cheek, causing the wounds to disappear.

"No..."She thought to herself, as she adjusted herself.

"I will not be broken and I will forever be unbroken,"

Her thoughts were then cut off when she heard a pair of footsteps outside her door. Ava slowly got up from her spot on the bed and walked over to the door, opening it. She quickly hid behind the doorway as the footsteps grew closer. Ava, through the force recognized the aura as she peeked out to see Fn 2187 walking down the hallway in a hurry. She could sense desperation and fear inside his heart, knowing he is going to pull a dangerous mission but will also be betraying the First Order.

"So you're leaving then.." Ava softly spoke, making Fn 2187 jump and turn around to face her.

"My lady..its not what it looks like..I," Fn 2187 said, but Ava raised her hand up.

"No need.." Ava chuckled warmly.

"I sense you're going to do the right thing...though what are you going to do,"

"Alright you caught me," Fn 2187 said, raising his hands up in defense.

"I'm going to break the resistance pilot out,"

"Well go for it then," Ava said.

"I know you will do the right thing,"

The young stormtrooper's then desperately took her hand in his own, wanting to take her with him.

"Come with me," He pleaded.

"I can't..." Ava said, shaking her head.

"There's something I have to do..."

"If you stay here, he'll hurt you more," The stormtrooper pleaded once more.

"I believe I can handle my husband," Ava replied chuckling warmly.

"I've taken many hits in my youth,"

The young stormtrooper sighed as he reluctantly released her hand before adjusting himself.

"Alright, please be careful," He said, respecting her decision.

Fn 2187 turned his heel to leave when Ava stopped him once more.

"I want you to do something for me though," She said, causing him to turn and face her with a surprised look on his face.

"Anything for you," Fn 2187 replied.

Ava then slowly took off her magenta crystal necklace that hung around her neck.

"I want you to take this..." Ava said, as she handed the storm trooper her necklace.

"Wait...I can't take this," Fn 2187 replied, pushing the necklace back to her.

"This feels wrong,"

"You must...to show my family that I'm alright...and I can never be unbroken no matter what..." Ava insisted with desperation.

The stormtrooper couldn't take the necklace but seeing the desperation in the Skywalker heiress' eyes, he placed the necklace in his pocket.

"I'll find your family...I promise.."

"Thank you..." Ava replied, as she stepped away into her quarters.

"May the force be with you,"

The doors then shut in front of her, making the stormtrooper sigh quietly before making his way down the hall.

As Ava watched the stormtrooper disappear from her sight, she heard a soft meowing making her look down to see Millicent rubbing herself against her leg. She chuckled as she gently picked up the orange tabby cat as if she were a child.

"Come on Millie," Ava said softly before walking inside the room.

"Lets go fix you up some nice blue milk,"
