Chapter Five
The End of the Rezlorian Empire
King Link screamed, "Let's start the fight!"
"I agree!" They rushed each other and began to fight hand-to-hand.
Link landed several powerful blows to Emperor Zlanden. After a fifteen-minute fist fight Emperor Zlanden and King Link withdrew their swords, and began a momentous sword fight. Their swords were clashing together at lightning speed with neither of them gaining any ground on the other. The sword fight went on like that for an hour when King Link finally gained the upper hand. He thrust very hard pointing the blade downward then quickly tilting the blade upward, and then with tremendous force he pushed forward driving the blade into Emperor Zlanden's chest piercing his heart.
As Emperor Zlanden lay dying King Link said, "After your death Zlanden I'll see to it that your Empire is split up into several different kingdoms."
Emperor Zlanden took one last breath and said, "Uh! Long ... live ... Rezloria!" After saying this Emperor Zlanden died along with the Rezlorian Empire.
After Emperor Zlanden's death Link returned to Hyrule Castle. He said, "Sir Carilius will Sir Randof make a full recovery?"
"Yes, Sire! After about six months of rest."
"Excellent!"
After hearing this King Link prepared to ensure the separation of Zlanden's empire.
