Chapter Six

The New Era of Peace

King Link, after three weeks of hard work, successfully separated all of the kingdoms that were annexed by Rezloria returning power to the rightful leaders of each kingdom. Those kingdoms were as follows: Ardonia (which is 20 miles southeast of Hyrule; ruled by King Maloisus), Runfaust (which is 20 miles north of Hyrule; ruled by King Iose), Saleria (which is 15 miles northeast of Hyrule; ruled by King Molodus), Cerona (which is 50 miles northwest of Hyrule; ruled by Queen Nera), Rasat (which is 35 miles south of Hyrule; ruled by King Ezref), and Xenore (which is 40 miles due west of Hyrule; ruled by King Elon). [Calatia (which is 30 miles west of Hyrule; ruled by King Renar) and Termina (which is 25 miles east of Hyrule; ruled by King Aren) were not part of the empire because the kings of Termina and Calatia were able to fend off the takeover].

After doing this he set off for the kingdom of Rezloria itself to establish a new kind-hearted leader.

After long conversations Link and the newly appointed leader of Rezloria; King Lecilus (who was chosen by the people of Rezloria) negotiated a peace treaty between the two kingdoms.

King Lecilus said, "May our two kingdoms continue to blossom in our newfound friendship. If you ever need assistance in a future conflict don't hesitate to ask."

"I too am hoping our friendship continues to grow and prosper. We will also come to your aid for any reason you may need it. All you have to do is ask. Well, King Lecilus I'll be in touch soon. Goodbye."

"I will contact you as soon as possible. Goodbye King Link."

After leaving Rezloria King Link returned to Hyrule.

Once he arrived at Hyrule Castle he gathered all of the citizens of Hyrule so he could deliver a royal address.

Once every single Hyrulean was gathered in the Courtyard Link said, "My fellow Hyruleans I would like to announce our new alliance with the kingdom of Rezloria ruled by the kind and just King Lecilus." The crowd cheered. Link went on, "With their friendship we will usher in more money from our trading agreement. We also agreed to back each other in times of distress. Thank you for listening to my address. You may all go home now." After the address was over the people of Hyrule returned to their respective homes. While King Link, himself, retired to his chamber along with Queen Zelda, and took a long well-deserved rest.

King Link has once again ushered in a new era of peace and prosperity. Only this time he has restored peace to seven kingdoms instead of one.
