w1 ep3 Pondering Parents (Word count 560)
I know I am stretching this out. but this is last one on this dinner and the aftermath. I feel I have the emphasise each of their mindsets before I can get everything rolling. also I realise and I please have miss instead of a ms, blame voice dictation. I know it is unreasonable to expect someone to know every character (or at least all their names. You might remember seeing them but not the name of themself.) So for that I put in parentheses the more known thing of the character. (rule of thumb, if the character name has not appeared in more than 4-6 episodes particularly ones that had smaller releases (like PBS is not going to air that computer episode in 2010 and it was not released on disk.) (Janet is a exception as her episode was released on disk and had high rotation.) I would put some sort of description in the bubble.) This is not to say that they are not going to be people who know it without the bubble but I am trying to be inclusive. You are going to see why I chose those two examples in this chapter and the next week segment.

His parent are feeling ok, it is always weird to go to the uncle and aunt's house but they also have to put out a appearance. since the people in this area know that their family and it would look weird if they did not see each other. at least they get along mostly, despite the different views on magic. something the both of them as parents agreed before they had arnold that they will be magic free for the most part, it is safer that way. there are some things that cannot stop, particularly bodily properties like enhanced healing but it is best not to get into situations that can leed to that anyway. the one thing that both of Arnold's parents worry for is their kid got stuck with ms frizzle as a teacher. that spectacle of a person is always a strings length away from exposing the whole family secret and it is hard to raise a magic free household when their kid has to go to school and get exposed to it through that teacher of his. she said to him that if he suspect a trip or any form a magic is likely to be used he can 'stay home' as a way to combat that issue. but he can not stay home for the whole year and they can not request to change teachers without raising suspicions (what are they going to say. they do not want someone that uses magic.) so they are stuck with this arrangement.
at least arnold's cousin's bunch (Janet's family I have nothing better it is a unnatural but I can not find alternative.) is not as showy as Valerie (miss frizzle's first name for casual viewers) even if it is a deep rooted part of their life which can be annoying during visits due to the fact that it is used as a regular occurrence in how things just operate though they do not do it not in a in the bragy 'look at this' way wild way that she remembers from the people of her childhood. The most they have to deal with is the friendly rivalry between the two is son and his cousin which is not really magic oriented anyway as far as they can tell. on her son hopefully he will have a successful future, he already has a Award in geology after all. The father focused on getting home and on the subject of family relations understands the good and the bad. there was always love he has for his family but as much as he hates to say he hates getting weighed to family politics mostly involving those family gadgets and the chaos surrounds operating them and possessing them. not to mention the certain tension of the 'respect' they have for both his and his wife's family lifestyle choice and conflicting ideals. but in his heart he always has a few fine memories of magic including the gadgets brought to his life. but the both of them agreed they never enjoyed the drama and Arnold deserves not to live with that secret, that second life of sorts which led to the final decision of minimising the use of them, as they made it back to their Magic free home (mostly anyway) and now they can relax until the next encounter comes.

The parents do not know how big the argument between the two cousins are, they assume it is very minor. (you know regular child arguments). this might become something later on. (something I am not sure if they ever specified which side Janet is a cousin from.) (found later that is the dad family (Though I am not sure if they just based off that they use the same last name. Which is kind of a archaic reason there are using the reboot as the source.), Sham I was going to do it mum side.) if anyone knows if Janet's mom or dad have a full name (considering 2 miss same last name would be very confusing in the same episode.) I would love to hear in the comments or pm. This is the end of this set up dinner and aftermath. By the way comments are appreciated, any language welcome.
