ep12 (w5 ep2) Closely Hiding (Word count 615)
This was an enjoyable chapter but needed to be beta read which was done thankfully by 'Cooker l.l'. (not on this site as of making this, and the beta's username was made (collaboration between both of us) as of this chapter.). I do not usually use one for multiple reasons but this one was a challenge in the hiding aspect along with the interactions and which ones to use and which ones to use so I gave it to gave it to be checked and altered (I did touch it afterwards but I think that I was enough detail.). I am aware that I promised a arguing scene last week which is why am going to publish that right after this though for the future I am likely to go down to 2 episodes a week to give me more time to both edit and write.

The bell system (and all the other ones for that matter.) was being manipulated for prank causing the school to go into some chaos. this is when they (Mickey and Janet) were almost to get caught. what happened was since the school is going into chaos due to the bell is not working right. The School decide to check the computer system where the two of them were located. so now they have to find a place to hide.
The fear of noise and shock leads Mikey The computer guy to hide behind a tree length bush or try to make it there with a degree of difficulty. Janet herself thought to look there briefly to but sadly the tree length bush was not quite wide enough for two. though she moved to the table quickly enough to hide behind a Coffee desk. ((1) I am looking at the room from the TV show as I am writing this.) looking at the room she thinks how that was a close one as Janet then recalled Mikey presents in the room hoping he made it somewhere. but as she looked she realises Mikey was close to getting caught at the speed he was going getting to bush. this is when Janet gestured him briefly the hide under the desk too. Janet is thinking I just do not want my prank exposed, that is why I am helping him.
The two of them now hidden behind the desk. They were squeezed and they got close. they argued a bit. When they tried to get comfortable in a small area, the usual push and 'stop putting your foot there. Or 'my hands are over there' and before both of them knew it their hands touched each other. It immediately comforted both of them. At that they did not expect to feel any feelings. but a emotion did happen At least Janet did feel attraction, but but what did she feel... she felt something. she kinda felt close to him and such but as fast as the whole emotional thing began ,it ended. along with a opening for Mikey to make it to the bush as they were looking away for a moment at that Mikey went to the bush so they did not have to squeeze tightly under the desk.
Janet felt somewhat worried what would happen as she looked over at the plant she knew Mikey hid under knowing it was a weird thing to feel worried about him.
they kept quiet for a bit as a staff members figure something to undo the prank or at least what was going on but they decided to figure everything out later and just deactivate the connection (1) for the Time being as they had to get school stuff done. When they got out, after checking and peeking to make sure everyone left. they 'fix' the system to the correct 'official' parameters. of the system to the correct parameters.
They realized when they came out by which point class had started.
The two bicker and arguing that 'you got a better hiding spot than me,' with Janet saying I thought of it first to hide in the bush but it was not big enough for two. The two of them considering mentioning the desk but pauses briefly and decided not to before anything of interest left the mouth. at that fiasco they decided the prank was over and its time for them to or at least for Mikey go to class or for Janet to just leave (since Janet goes somewhere else). but for some reason Janet suddenly felt something for the computer program Mikey. but she knew she could be her undoing.
(1) - longer Version of what I said above. I had checked the scenes in which show different aspects of the room in the computer episode going back and forth as I was making this chapter. to make sure it was accurate.
(2) - basically making sure the could not affect school equipment. not in the definition of make it 'unoperational'.

another things about the school. I based it more on my high school than my elementary (a pk-8). I went to a elementary school that would not be a good choice for a model of a 'standard American school' of the tv as it was made in the late 1920s before even 'lunchrooms' were standard. (The gym doubled as a lunchroom , not at the same time (foldable tables).) and more importantly with no traditional hallways for him to running through or picturesque lockers (they kept them in the classroom) even for someone in the upper grades. (they did added some later on in 8 grade (my final year). (stuff change over 10 year.) but the placement was interesting. it was a nice school to go to and I would not trade it for anything else. but would likely be way too different from the show to keep a suspension of disbelief to use for layout examples. which is also why I literally analyse the episode to The core and held it as a lifeline for my solution.
when I got this idea about them doing a prank together I did not expect to pair them for any romance or whatever this is currently at all, but it just sort of happened. I am not sure of the ages or the age difference. I know Mikey is shorts but that could be related to what put him in a wheelchair in the first place and not due to his age, we know he is younger but for this let just put him 1 or 2 years younger.)
