ep17 (w6 ep2) Ralphie Walks Back (word count 232)

Sorry I was a day late I just got a disk and even after all the busy things I have been important. (which important things did happen this week and still the reason Wednesday was cancelled.) a DVD rental disk that I have been on the waitlist for awhile that got delivered distracted me enough to forget the post. at least family movie night went fine. anyhow enjoy.

Ralphie finishes the day fine and the field trip help keep his mind occupied from the worries at hand, not to mention Tim's advice. but as helpful Tim was to calm him down about The Easter situation a little he still have a nagging feeling something might go wrong. he does not understand why. but that feeling is still is in him.

(1)) with getting everything set up, he likes decorating Easter eggs with designs specially for the holiday and getting a basket from the Easter Bunny.

another thing he looks forward to about Easter is the delicious treats. from the candies they have from the shop to the cake like bread which to be blessed the night before easter is always filled with deliciousness. which makes it even more shameful that the time to eat the delicious stuff is the time that he has to worry about everyone being worried definitely considering he does not know if he should even worry. (above being slightly bummed about being told to be on his 'behaviour'.) as he is traveling home he is trying to think on other things that he likes like his comics and playing baseball and soccer but it looks for the most part but he just feel like something is going to happen.

I know this is a little vague but I felt I had to build it up and show the worry in Ralphie's usual cheerful personality. I added the Easter stuff later even though I took it as seriously as the rest. when I put it into the character count website it came out as 91 words and I would prefer to not publish anything under 100 words considering people wait for the next chapter. it came to me later that I should put some positive Easter things in there in some help later became a cultural deepdive into other traditions of Easter. I think that turned out for the best considering how many chapters just became angst internal discussions.

in terms of the traditions listed, I am aware of some places do the blessing of food the morning of and I am acknowledging it. I just chose the night before one. I hope I blended everything natural enough, while still being enjoyable to those who are not familiar. The Easter Bunny is American Easter tradition similar to the flying church bells in France. I name is it the 'cake like bread' for accessibility reasons and that there are a few names across the areas being I have not chosen a specific place for them to 'be from'. also the fact they wrote parts of this at 3 am I was barely able to make a coherent sentence never mind use the search engine.
