after a rant from his either of his parents, it led to arnold thinking about magic himself. a fue weeks ago he put that ship that she gave as a gift into the reaches of his closet. remembering that moment when he decided to put it there.

Flashback a few weeks. (see ep6)

he got this ship from ms frizzle A few days ago. while he understands that she did not want it going to kids that did not understand the power and would use it for dumbness. but he is gonna make sure that his mother does not find this ship. his solution, put it in the closet. If she asks, he will just say it is a toy ship and hopefully not question further and look to closely.

coming back to the now he remembers why he kept there, and will continue keeping it there. arnold did not want the drama it always brought. even in class, some drama almost always spews up in the middle of the field trip, causing everyone to worry for their lives. he did not to see the look in the eyes of people if they find out, even his more accepting classmates they view her as mostly positive but still as a abnormality definitely with the way she acts with that thing completely over the top. he heard ralphie talk about her as a vampire. at the least if they found out he will not be looked at the same. he will never tell like ms frizzle does. no sery. he will follow his parents example of trying to live normally.

This is to wrap up of the coral reef episode where Arnold's holding the ship. this was originally I touched on in episode 6 but I find it works here. I write these well in advance to make sure I do run out of material for the original 3 times a week posting schedule granted I have not been writing as much as I been editing chapters that was way better when I looked at them 9 months ago. when looking at how the chapters lead and the similarity between the two of them I considered trying to move this since I seem to be hitting some parts over the head too many times but the fact is after the whole beta reading of the hiding after prank chapter even I am getting confuse where each of these chapters are going so I am just gonna keep posting them in the order and just improve when I make the new chapters before I mistakenly post a chapter twice.

I thought of this in 2019 and in apparently 4 minute according to notes time stamps, that multiple years later it turned into a one shot when I rediscovered the idea. this chapter is based on the original one shot to a extent, granted I went a different rute here as the one-shot version took place many years later with him thinking back on everything. obviously the stuff that might involve future plot points had to be taken out. The original version (and this one by extension) was slightly unintentionally inspired by 'I Wish, I Wish' by emberfire411 (which is a winx club fanfiction) and the beginning of Ben 10 alien force (where the closet aspect came from). I made the original story version in an hour before I decide to try and make this soap opera version. I am sometimes shocked that this became a story based on two lines from 2019 made in 5 minutes. involving a plot line that probably will not happen for quite awhile. to then realize that all these characters fit the soap opera bubble so well that it became such a thing on its own. this chapter is based on that one shot that i made when I re-discovered this idea from my notes.
