ep32 (w13 ep2) Protecting The Swerve (Word count 300)
Swerve is the reference to driving out of control. I technically do not know how universal the word 'swerve' is. As a 1000 views is being passed I want to say thank you to everyone again. I do not know exactly how many of them are people viewing multiple episodes. (which I will encourage people to do, the whole story exists to be read.) I am super happy people were interested in this, thank you all.
now what happens when someone spots mysterious flying things, definitely when it is a relative's mysterious flying thing. find out, now.
note March 2024 - when I saw this I knew I had to fix it. I kept some of the flaws as the point was not to it redo it but make it legible since some areas did not even specified who was talking.

previously on bus soap
I am curious to try this out (Janet goes on the bus), aaa (Janet loses control of the bus), Wanda and Phoebe look up and see get help and help land it with assistance from another classmate, frizzle looks down to see potential in this other classmates. (see w12 ep1)
recap end
In a world where Magic and Science meet. Where the mystical wonder, and tension is always at the surface just waiting to react. The Magical Generations.
The father (of Arnold) knows he has to confront frizzle about her tool going all over the place, visible for everyone to see in the area. when he goes to her house to see how that happened he walks through her decently sized garden over the bridge above her pond he knocks on the door instead of using her electronic contraption doorbell. ms frizzle opens saying 'it has been a long time cuz how is it going.'he says 'well, not good but I think you would know that.' she says 'know of what' he says back 'do not play dumb to me me and everyone at my job saw your tool flying all over the place randomly.'
ms frizzle answered 'oh that' tried to play it cool not exactly knowing what happened when those kids were 'going messy'. continued saying 'that was just the bus going out for a stroll.' The father getting irritated said 'well your stroll got everyone's attention and could have easily gotten us exposed.' ms frizzle responded 'Well come on ,nothing that bad happened.' knowing his point is correct but still know that there is no use getting the children involved. even if she thinks Janet does need to be taught a lesson.
the dad answering 'come on this is over the top even for you and even you know better then to do that.' trying to rationalise to his relative the best he knows how as he continues. 'granted I realise the bus is not the most controllable thing but you know how to wrangle it, making this whole risky occurrence really bizarre.' ms frizzle says 'well you know these things happen when things get messy, I hope you have a nice day.' after that conversation Arnold's dad thinks something seems off with this whole thing.
..
I want to first give a shout out to "electronic contraption doorbells" being more a recent addition for 'The regular homeowner' in the early 2000s, this was before the 'video doorbell era'. so I felt a little bit of a 'period moment' to have the dad to see such a contraption as unusual. for the house description I use the valentines episode Gets Charged (Electricity).
I originally was going to have this be her saying that she did not ride the bus but decided against it as I was making the heading for this realising that it would be ooc of Miss Frizzle 'tattle' on a few kids commandeering the bus temporarily even if someone was Janet. (definitely considering the amount of times the kids ride it on the show). but it seems that her cousin is still has a feeling in the back of his mind that something is not right. where that will lead even I am not completely sure but stay tuned.
I also felt the recap necessary since a few weeks time has passed in 'publishing time' as you can see I did it a tv show scenes but with annotations to make everything understanding. terms terms of the 'see a certain episode' redirect I got that from comic books Comic books usually say where in the timeline something came from even if it was like see 1969 Edition of a Captain Marvel for reference. (and I am not even exaggerating it was even though I do not remember the exact year it was a 2010s comic book referencing a late 1960s event with a 'major villain'.)
next week on The Magical Generations.
Janet thinking about it, he is bad news
as the search on magic continues.
