ep37 (w16 ep1) Around and Allowed (Dad's Surprise) (Word count 240)
I rush through a lot of events in this chapter. this is because I think I wrote too many so the ground and talk topic. I have to be honest I am as shocked as Ralphie at this new power development since it was decided after watching a newer episode. A practice originally only meant to decide the uncle's name and which uncle to use. I also wrote a the first half of this based on the first draft to introduce the power idea not the final product.
he was supposed to awaken as a vampire in some of the drafts (which was more list of ideas) even though I was still deciding when (for pacing reasons) but I am more of a 'improv writer' anyway.

when everything ended the father had an outrage at all the events. The mother tries to explain but the father said 'how do you explain your brother waltzing in with a flashlight and then saying he has plans to supervise there son.' The mom said 'that is how he is. He believes he might have got some thing from my' hesitating for a second before continuing calculating her words 'late husband and will make sure his type are not around.'
The stepdad said not around and you brought them here near my children, his eyes flashing with slight rage on that last statement. The mom responded do not worry they do not have anything to worry about, granted she thought she saw her husband's eyes do something but at this point she does not think any deeper since she could be seeing stuff at this point with everything going on.
she has to deal with the situation at hand now. she really does not want anything to happen to any of her stepkids but she has a situation she has to deal with for both sides of the family.
she knows her husband is with her , at least at this moment. (if something dangerous happens she still has to figure that out) she does not know how to deal with her brother or even more importantly ralphie's recent revelation on his talents. One that she even did not know she had.

this was short. it was originally merging it with the next chapter but it seems out of place since every other chapter deals with one scene. I will post the next chapter Wednesday and possibly another one on Friday like back when I had the original 3 time a week schedule. I am still figuring out what I am going to do with the father but other news. the next chapter happens the next day in the timeline, so Easter Day is over. I am going to try to keep the timeline moving better in the future, ok.
