Hey everybody, so here we are! The final chapter of the Beast's Castle Arc! Alos, HAPPY NEW YEAR!

So as you saw, Dark Horizons will be going on hiatus till I get this story finished, I mean in-between I'll still work on the chapters but for the time being I am taking a break from it till this is done. And I have a hunch that if I keep going and not have anything (besides video games) hold me back…I have a feeling that this year will be the time that this story comes to an end!

Anyways, last time, the Travelers of Light arrived in Beast's Castle and saw that Xaldin is up to no good, and to make matters worse, an egotistical hunter named Gaston arrives and battles the group before taking off with Belle. Will the heroes rescue her? Let's find out!

Castle Courtyard

The group all jumped down and were face-to-face with their enemies, Xaldin had a smirk on his face as he held onto the rose and Gaston was holding onto Belle. The tension was high, and the rain didn't help things as lightning struck as well.

Beast glared at them all. "Let her go…and get out of my castle NOW!" Beast shouted in anger.

Xaldin smirked. "Of course, but you see…I would travel light." He said as he held the jar carrying the rose. "This rose will most likely just weigh me down…perhaps I should destroy it." He said that made Beast growl in rage and for the others to glare sharply.

"Well, I know I got what I want!" Gaston said as he smiled and caressed Belle's cheek, causing her to squirm. "I am taking her back with me…and we are going to be married."

"Let her go.." Sora growled.

Gaston glared at him. "You don't order me, boy!" He said with a smirk. "No one says no to Gaston." He then looked at the Beast and smirked. "Were you in love with her?" He asked. "Did you honestly think she would want you, when she could have someone like me?"

Belle was hearing this hunter's words and she growled. "I would pick the Beast over you anyday!" She said to him, this made Gaston growl in anger.

SLAP

Belle felt a song on the side of her cheek courtesy of Gaston, who then twirled her around to face him. "Don't you dare talk me like th-"

*ROAR*

The two then looked to see Beast charge right ahead, rage filling his vision as he then ran his head right into Gaston away from Belle, making Xaldin look with surprise. Belle then used this opportunity to elbow the man in black and take the rose.

"Belle!" Sora exclaimed as Belle ran with the rose.

"I'll be fine!" She said as she took the rose and ran to hide.

Beast was then kicked back by Gaston. The others came to his defense and stood alongside him. Gaston growled and got up, darkness radiating even further.

"No matter how much you try, no matter how much you complain." Oswald said with a glare. "You will never have Belle!"

Gaston growled even further, unknown to him Xaldin was standing right beside him with a smirk on his face. "It's over for you all." Gaston's body then begins to be engulfed in dark mist, making the others shocked.

"Oh no.." the others thought in worry.

Gaston's torso then got engulfed and was reaching his neck, before being engulfed he had one final line. "BELLE IS MINE!" He roared as he was then finally engulfed in a cloud of darkness. Just as they were all watching, the dark cloud began to grow even bigger than before, making them all look with caution.

"Everyone, get ready!" Sora said as everyone all got ready for a fight.

As the cloud got bigger, it then began to disappear to reveal large creatures before them all. The creatures rumbled Gaston a bit, however the figure was all grey and monster-like, it had similar clothing and similar hair as well, but the only difference was that it was wearing a reindeer skull on its head and it was carrying a large club as well. This was the Enraged Elk, Gaston's Heartless.

Xaldin looked up and smirked. "Perfect." He thought as he then turned to the heroes and a large gust of wind appeared before him as he summoned his lances and gave them all a dark smile. "Time to die." He said to them,

Everyone looked at Xaldin, and at the large Heartless and despite some of them being nervous, it didn't deter them one moment and they all glared fiercely and got ready to fight. "Some of you help me fight Xaldin!" Sora said. "The others handle the big thing!" He commanded.

"Jaune, Ruby, Goofy, and Max, go with Sora!" Oswald commanded. "The others help me take Thai Heartless!" He said as they all then got into battle!

Xaldin smirked as he then used the wind to gather the lances right in front of him and swung them at the group. Jaune was lucky enough to grab his shield to block the attack, but the force of it caused the young knight to go sliding back and land on the side of the wall with a hard thud. Sora glared hard at him and then Xaldin disappeared, making the others look confused. But then Sora heard something go off into his head.

"Learn," He thought. Then as if he noticed the danger, he quickly dodged out of Xaldin's way, causing the man to hit the ground with his lances. Then Sora had a reaction that caused him to disappear as well and then appear above Xaldin and hit him a few times, causing the cloaked man to go backwards a bit. Sora then looked at himself with surprise.

"Sora!" He turned to see Ruby looking at him with awe. "How are you doing that?" She asked.

Sora shook his head. "I..I don't know, it almost felt like some sort of instinct." He said. "I actually felt the same back in the Land of Dragons when we were fighting those Nobody's."

Ruby lstined and thought over hsi worlds, was that some sort of keyblade wielder's ability? "Fascinating." She thought.

"Oi!" The two teens looked to see Max and Jaune push back a lance. "If you two are doen chatting, please help us!" Max cried out. Sora and Ruby sheepishly nodded and ran to help.

Meanwhile, The Enraged Elk roared and attempted to strike the other group down, but they all managed to get out of the way. Oswald jumped in the air and slashed the Heartless right in the face, causing it to screech in pain. Stitch then jumped up behind and grabbed a lockful of pairs and pulled very tightly, causing the Elk to roar in pain as Stitch was pulling the hair back tightly.

"You're going nowhere, ugly!" Stitch laughed as he continued to pull, making the Elk growl even more

Donald and Ortensia raised their staffs in the air as clouds began to form in the sky. "THUNDAGA!" They both shouted as large bolts of lightning came down and struck the Elk, causing it to roar in pain and fall down a bit. Unknown to them, Stitch was also caught in the blast and his fur was sticking up as he was sizzling too.

"Ow…" Stitch groaned.

Meanwhile, Xaldin's fight was not going so far as many of them kept on getting hit by the lances. They just couldn't get a good hit on him due to the lances curling in front of him and around him as well. Soon, Xaldin had made his lances come together to form some sort of a dragon thing and go flying around them all. Ruby took this opportunity to fire Dust rounds from Crescent Rose, but Xaldin had a spare lance he used to deflect the shots at.

He then went under the bridge and he then reappeared. And then he fired a Beam of wind from his lances. The force of the wind caused the group to slip back and hit the walls, even though Jaune, Goofy, and Max had their shields up, it proved to be a bit difficult for them to withstand the blast and they too were knocked back.

As soon as Xaldin came back to the bridge, Sora got that thought in his head again. "Learn!" He thought as he then disappeared and hit Xaldin from the up top, causing him to skid back a bit. Jaune got a good look and realized.

"If Sora does that attack, that will leave Xaldin open for attacking. "Everyone, as soon as Sora hits him, that's our chance!" He called out as he then ran towards Xaldin and struck as well, getting a good few hits in there, causing the cloaked man to stagger back a bit and glare at them all. He then snapped his fingers and summoned a group of Heartless and Nobodies to assist him. "Kill them all!" He ordered as the creatures attacked.

Meanwhile, Oswald was knocked to the ground and the Enraged Elk tried to snap at him, but luckily he held his keyblade and the Elk chomped at the rabbit, who was holding his grip tightly as the two wrestled around for a while. Stitch grabbed his blasters and jumped right next to Oswald and fired two blasts in the Elk's eyes, causing it to let go and screech in pain. This allowed Beast to run up to it on all fours and slash to right in the face with his claws.

Donald took notice that the Enraged Elk was beginning to falter a bit, knowing that it was not going to last long and he smirked. "We got you know." He said with a triumphant grin.

Back with Xaldin, he sent many more lances after the others, but Jaune and Goofy were able to block a majority of them with their shields, but due to the very force of the lances as well as the wind guiding them, it made the two go backwards due to the immense force.

Jaune then got up a bit and stared at Xaldin, who was fighting Soa, and he got an idea. "Sora used a form to fight some strong enemies." He thought. "And Ruby did the same back in Hollow Bastion..I wonder if I can do the same." He thought as he then took a deep breath and channeled his aura. "Light!" He called as he was enveloped in his aura and his body got covered, as soon as he was done he had changed. His hoodie turned into a high-collar black shirt, his jeans darkened into a navy-blue color and was wearing dark brown boots. His Armor was modified and covered more of his upper-abdomen and were all trimmed with gold.

Jaune got a good look at him with awe in his voice. "Woah! Cool." He said. Ruby looked at him and blushed a bit, thinking he looked even more handsome than ever. But aside from that, Ruby got the same idea and she as well turned into her other form, and as soon as Sora saw them he smiled and turned into his Valor form.

Xaldin glared hard at the teens as he lost composure and sent many lances after them in rage.

Meanwhile, Belle was watching from the windows and saw what everybody was doing. Ever since she was asked by them at Hollow Bastion she wanted nothing more than to repay them all for their rescue. And now here they are, protecting her from Gaston and that hooded man, andhere she was, sitting on the sidelines…she doesn't want to do that.

"Belle…" She turned around to see her father coming up to her as well as the other servants of the castle, all of them looking with worried looks on their faces.

Belle looked at them and back at the rose she was carrying, and she sighed. "Father…I..I just."

Maurice however gave her a warm smile and walked over, and gently took the rose out of her hands." Go on ahead." He said, making Belle look surprised.

"We'll look after the rose." Cogsworth told her with a smile on his own. Belle smiled at them all and she courageously walked right out of the castle.

Meanwhile, Jaune, in his form had his sword in his sheath and had it extended, but this time the sword was coated in his aura, and he ran towards Xaldin and hit him many times, and due to the speed he had access to, Xaldin didn't have time to block and he got hit many times, and Ruby fired off many round from her scythe at speed as well, causing him to get him.

At this point, Xaldin was now on his knees and breathing very very heavily as he looked up at them all and growled, and not just him, but the Enraged Elk was also right next to him as both of them glared hard at the heroes in front of them.

"You…" Xaldin groweld in rage.

"Yes!" Everyone turned to see Belle walk right up, prompting the heroes to look with surprise. "As I already mentioned to you before." Belle's aura then began to glow as she was surrounded by light, and the aura surrounded the others as well. Not only that, but Sora, Oswald, Donald, Ortensia, Stitch, Ruby, and Sun pointed their weapons at both Xaldin and the Enraged Elk. "You and your Heartless are not welcome here!" She exclaimed as in the middle of her chest, a beam of light then began to shine as Xaldin winded his eyes and so did the Enraged Elk. "Now…BEGON!" She shouted as a beam of light shot out as well as the others weapons all fired off beams of light as well at the two villains.

Xaldin was so weak he couldn't even dodge the attack, and the Enraged Elk just glared hard. "Shit..."

BAM

The beams hit both of them with massive impact. Due to the immense light and pressure, Xaldin saw that he was breaking apart and his eyes winded. "DAMN YOU!" He shouted and the Enraged Elk roared in fury as the light caused them both to break apart and vanish without a trace.

As the light vanished, everyone was now a bit exhausted as they were all on their knees. Max looked up to see that Xaldin and the Enraged Elk were no longer in their spot and he smiled. "They're gone." He said with relief, and to the others as well.

After a few minutes, everybody was back on their feet, and this time they were joined by Maurice and all the servants who were smiling at them all. "Thank goodness you're alright." Maurices said as he hugged Belle.

"I know my father." She said with a smile.

While everyone was happy at saving the world. Jaune looked at the spot where Xaldin was vanquished and he growled a bit. This was the second time they didn't get any answers on the whereabouts of their teammates, the grip on his sword tightening a bit as a bit of dark mist radiated off his hands. "NExt time, better give us answers…or else!" He thought with rage.

"Belle," Jaune was soon snapped out of his thoughts as everyone then looked at Beast and Belle who were both looking at each other. "I'm sorry…I…I" But he was then stopped by a hand going through his furry face, and that hand? Well we all know who that belonged to.

"Beast, I understand." She said to him as she then motioned him to look over at Maurice, who was holding the rose in his hands. "The rose is saved, Gaston will no longer hurt me or anyone…and I..well." She said with a smile.

Beast looked down and gulped. "Belle." He said. "What you said to Gaston…about how you would pick me over him…" Beast struggled to find his words, not really knowing what to say without sounding like an idiot. "Is that true?"

Belle looked at him and gave him a warm smile and nod, making Beast widen his eyes. "Beast, as long as I have been here in your castle, you have been nothing more but a gentleman."

"More of a gentle-beast?" Sun jokes, but Ruby elbowed him a bit. Ignoring the monkey faunus's joke, Belle continued.

"It took a while, but your anger has lessened over time. I showed you that Christmas is fun despite it happening on your curse…and not to mention that you saved me many times." She said. "You saved me from the wolves, you stopped Forte from killing us all, you just saved me from Gaston and that cloaked man…and not to mention that you saved me in Hollow Bastion."

Beast gave a small smile. "Yea…but I had help from Sora and the others."

Bele shook her head. "Still though." She then took his hands into hers. "I don't care if you remain a beast or not. The point I am trying to say is…I love you Beast, with all my heart and soul."

As soon as she said those words. Beast felt his heart flip flop a bit and also beat very fast. This woman….she was just so amazing. Beast smiled and held her hands as well. "I love you too, Belle." He said with a smile. The very sight of them both made the others go 'Away' But then something happened.

Some pink streaks began to fall from the sky, making everybody look up with confusion. "What's going on?" Sora asked as the others were indeed the same thing. Soon more streaks began to come down as a beam of light then shined down on the beast and lifted him up and he began to spin around.

"What is-" But before he could ask more, he saw his hand…it was changing into a human hand..his own human hand! And his eyes winded. "I'm changing back!" He said with a grin as he looked down to see that his lower paws were turning back into human feet. Finally he looked up and smiled. "Finally…I'll be human once more." He said as he then took a glance at Belle, Sora, and the others, who were all shocked. "And it was all because of you." He said with a soft smile as he was then finally engulfed in light. Afterwards, he landed on the ground softly with his cloak over him.

Sora and Belle went over to see if he was alright but then the cloak came right off and he was revealed that…to everyone's shock…he was fully human once more! His large anime-like frame was replaced by a strong human muscular frame, his skin was fair, and he had auburn shoulder-length hair.

At the very sight of this, Sora and the others all smiled widely at this. "YEAAA!" Everyone shouted with joy, happy that the Beast was no longer a beast..but now his original identity…Prince Adam. As everyone was cheering, Belle went up to him and touched his face gently.

"Is it really you?" She asked him.

Adam took her hands and smiled. "Yes..it;s still me." He said, no longer having the deep gruff voice of Best, but the soft, young voice of Adam. Then more pink streaks appeared from the sky and hit the castle, and soon the castle itself changed, the streaks were making it go from dark and gloomy…to pure light! The gargoyles that decorated some areas turned into angel statues, and the dark night suddenly turned to daytime.

And not just just, but the servants present also turned back to humans as well! Lumiere was now a tall man with fair skin, a prominent chin, and bright copper hair that was tied back to a ponytail with a yellow ribbon. His outfit consisted of a yellow cravat, brown vest with a light trim, and a cream shirt that had long puffy sleeves and ochre-colored patterned cuffs. He also wore cream stockings and brown shoes with gold buckles.

Cogsworth had fair skin too, with a pencil mustache that matched the small black hands of hsi clock form. His outfit consisted of a dark brown jacket with gold trim, a white handkerchief on his neck, and he wore brown pants with white stockings and brown flats.

Mrs. Potts was now a plump elderly woman wearing a purple outfit with a white apron and purple hat. Fifi was dressed as a regular maid, and pretty much every single resident of the castle was now fully human.

"Everyone!" Adam said as he and all the servants looked at one another with smiles on their faces. "We're all human again!" He said as they all chewed with joy and rapture.

Sora and the other Travelers of Light watched with happiness on their faces. It was a long process, but the one they knew as Beast was now back to being a human, but still in Sora's mind he is going to miss Adam's beast strength. But he would keep that to himself though.

Sora then looked back at his team. "Alright guys, what do you say we-"

"Sora!" They all turned to see Belle, Adam, Maurice, and many of the servants coming up to them all with smiles on their faces. "Donald, Goofy, Ruby, Jaune, Sun, Oswald, Ortensia, Max, and Stitch." Adam's face was one of gratitude. "Thank you."

Ruby smiled. "We really didn't do anything, we just helped you save Belle and the rose."

Adam shook his head. "True, but you did more than that." He said to them as he held Belle closer. "Even though I was being stubborn…you all never gave up on me, and I can't think to thank you enough."

"Indeed." Lumiere said. "We're all in your debt."

Sora waved his arms. 'No need for that, really." He said with a smile as he then gave Adam and Belle a mischievous grin. "So…when's the honeymoon?" He asked, making everyone present laugh a bit and for Belle and Adam to laugh as well.

"So," Chip said, now looking at the group with a frown. "Do you all have to leave again?" He asked.

"Sorry buddy," Jaun said as he reffed the boy's hair. "We still need to find our missing friends." He said.

Adam frowned. "I assume Xaldin was involved, right?" He asked, with the others nodding. "I would help you, but-"

"It's fine. We understand." Ruby said. "Though I am going to miss your beast form, you looked kinda cool."

Adam smiled a bit. "Well thank you. But honestly, I don't ever want to have to deal with shedding ever again." He said with a chuckle.

Belle looked at them all. "I hope you find your friends soon." She said as she went over and gave all the guys present kisses on their cheeks, making each of them blush a bit.

"Oh wow…" the men of the Travelers said as they all went into lala land for a moment. Everyone present laughed, even Ruby did as well…even though she really didn't like that Belle kissed Jaune.

Castle that Never Was

Xigbar was sitting down with Xehanaort's Nobody in some sort of study room, both of them had frowns on their faces. First Demyx, Axel betrayed them, and now Xaldin is dead…their numbers are dropping fast..what are they going to do?

"What are we going to do, Xemnas?" Xigbar asked him with annoyance. "Now it's just you, Luxord, Saïx, and I!" He said as he rubbed his face. Xemans simply sat in silence. " I just don't understand it! We curbstomp them in Remnant, and next thing you know. They're kicking our asses!"

Xemnas sighed and stood up. "What is the situation with the prisoners?"

Xigbar sighed. "I think Goldilocks is this close to breaking…but honestly I can't even tell. Sora was a Heartless for what, 5 minutes? And he was back to normal."

"But we got Roxas out of it." Xemans said with a frown. "And he turned on us the moment we brought Xion."

Xigbar sighed. "What a mess." He said as he looked up. "Still, what are we going to do?"

Xemnas smirked. "Jaune is still showing signs of darkness, I think it won't be long before he breaks." He said as he twirled his fingers. "Him and Yang…they both are getting more desperate."

Xigbar laughed a bit. "Agreed...it will only be a matter of time before they figure out where we are though." He said as he continued to look up at the ceiling.

So I hope you enjoyed the boss fight. I did my best to try to change things, especially with the addition of Gaston as the Enraged Elk Heartless.

So next chapter will be the finale to the Olympus Coliseum Arc as asll. After that…I'm having issues trying to come up with a second scenario involving Atlantis. Maybe I'll skip it…let me know what you guys think.
