ep49 (w22 ep1) Convincing to Use (word count 490)
I know I have a version of this chapter somewhere but I cannot find it for the peas of me. I tried to find it for a while and that is why I delayed publishing it but I had to just redo it knowing with my luck I am going to find at the moment I publish. because of this some of the stuff particularly in the beginning of this episode is in the rougher than I wanted.
I know this makes me look like a klutz or unorganized but keep in mind I probably have 60 to 80 things here (and I do sort this story away from any other) from various draft to ideas to previously published chapter just on this thing alone. I am pretty very careful with labelling (I use a notes app then I transferred to the computer for posting so I cannot search for title and this do not have assigned week so I thought it was with rival drafts) along with lucky this does not happen more and this really being a very rare occurrence. (we had a lot more beta writing delays than finding stuff delays) now on with the story.
...
In a world where Magic and Science meet. Where the mystical wonder, and tension is always at the surface just waiting to react. The Magical Generations.
Janet's mum is so angry she cannot stand being told that she should wait on the recycling people hand and foot because it is their decision for the rules not hers. well she is going to make sure it is hers with a little more mischief. but she feels she cannot do this alone she a little reluctant decides to ask her relative Arnold's mum of all people. (1) as she goes to see Arnold's mum she knocks on the door and comes in. Arnold's mum asked what are you doing here are the two of them arguing, The both of them being slightly aware of their kids Janets and Arnolds arguments arguments though not of the extent of them. Janet's mom says no we have another problem, someone who has the interesting tradition of giving bad presents along with ticketing me any time she wants.
Arnold's mum said ticketing you any time she wants. what is this really. suspicious about the cause of this visit. Janet's mum says what this really is is that she yelled at me for giving her a piece of my mind about the bin of hers. with the mother saying how does that have to do with me. Janet's mum says it has to do with you because I could use your assistance in helping her make her or change her decision. we both hate some of the things that she has been doing around here and not just the bin stuff I am sure you can help assist me in some of my ideas. Arnold's mum said I might be annoyed about her plant and those rules also but it is not enough for me to take out my gadget, some thing you know I prefer her not to do. you know the last thing I wanna deal with is a magical vendetta.
Janets mum says think about it this way. you just have to use a little bit and then she will apologise for all your methods. and even if you not annoyed with the bins you gotta have been annoyed with that birthday present of a plain plastic bottle. Arnolds mum said yeah that was a really bad gift but not liking her 'reusable' Christmas gifts (which is basically trash put in the recycling bin) is not enough for me to use my gadget, why would I assist you with angrying Murphy, you know how I feel about you using that sort of stuff even if she really has to stop giving gifts like that. Janets mum says that is why it it will work if she says that even you are annoyed she might realise that it is time to change her ways in that sort of stuff. there was a little more discussion to try to convince Arnold's mum but eventually she came on board saying yeah your right maybe a slight prank might teacher her a thing or two.
(1) turns out I got news that Janets from the mum side not the dad side from a page about the family tree episode. I know this is getting weird there is no incest in this okay.
..
All of this bin stuff is just background for the hijinks later. you do not need to understand any of that actually. I just need to think of something that would create conflict. I think that might of been a little too aggressive. I need stuff to make an argument with someone who I want to recycling plant after going back-and-forth for days on who was going to argue with who realizing I close all the doors on just the first sentence of the story approximately 'they were acquaintances even if the kids were not' about Janet and Arnold's family. The original basis for the whole complete series with 2 rival families.
it is beginning to seem that this season might take two years instead of one. this is because I have to set everything up and introductions. it also seems that it is likely to be a six months on six months off thing, I am still figuring out. I will try to keep it somewhat active so it does not go completely forgotten but I overdid it this year hopefully I do not do that next year.
I feel I should be clear definitely since I been complaining recently on various things with beta writing is that I do not really give stuff unless my writer looks not overwhelmed in the first place. I do not give stuff and she puts it down for about five days it is not like that. (partially because she actually has to use my phone, so I actually have to give her my phone to do that.) I will say the way she edits is more of a rewrite then modifying. I usually have to just redo the chapters back to how I actually wanted them and then incorporate the ideas that she gave that I enjoy. she keeps things to a timely fashion really well but I know sometimes she is busy and it is not even worth it giving it to her until she is not. some of the edits also or related to the fact that she does not know the story that much, she only knows the chapter I give her and only can do what is there in that chapter. but the fact is I get her to help me when I ran out of ideas or I do not know how to get myself stuck in the hole like with that chapter about Janet hiding in the computer room. (w4 ep1 Double check because this was from the Notes) now on with the story. I hope this clears any misconceptions of me not considering my beta writing capable or not timely or how I feel about her skills.
