ep53 (w23 ep3) ideas on return (644 words)

Do you know what I decide something. When you see them say name of tv show's main character dad or a mom in the universe they are saying their actual name in the story unless some other reason (like parent to child). we just do not get to see the name in my story but they are saying the guys name, they are not in that universe saying Arnold's dad or ralphie's mom. I know this is a very blunt way of dealing with this but this story is way too active for me to start making up names since we already have a good chunk of characters that are based on one line of dialogue with names.

now we are back to Bob and Newton and this will be something else. I was not sure if I should put the search from arnold's dad side first but I decided to have these first because I was already on a run with these characters. This storyline is a love-hate relationship I came up with this story thanking what is the most forceful thing a person can do and this is what I came up with. (hopefully that is correct. I made this at two in the morning (both this portion of the message and that storyline) and even I occasionally forget why l wrote things.)

Bob and Newton sat down and Bob said I guess I have a prank to think up. Newton says not so fast brother , you know we have to think of a method because of what you messed with. in a drowsy matter-of-fact tone. Bob said messed around with are you talking about those coins that were used for the prank. Newton says no Bob I mean that device you thought no one would notice about, typical. Bob says does that mean we have to go about it. just because dad's seems not agree with my reaching halfway. something that I am pretty sure they will never even consider. not to mention I promised Murphy something.

Newton says and I am the one that hit the ground all the time. before continuing that might be the fact Bob but I am sure the place you got a hold of it where ever that it may be will at some point get stared at and they might know that space look a little different. stretching the last syllable. Bob says to know that they are gone they actually have to look at it. unlike the space that I am going to make sure it looks different on you. and even if they did why would they think of me.

Newton says honestly you know I was even shocked that you would take an object that has a connection. I know you even know how messy connections are with tools. someone might not to be happy with you when they find what you currently have a hold of. Bob says stop acting like you of all people are so above everything, you done many things yourself behind people, even if you have a habit of stumbling down embarrassly. Bob giggling at that before Newton says but I am not the one that did that but Bob says I am still pretty sure they will never even look or use it enough to notice (1) , granted I guess we do you have to return it. Bob disappointed after all the work he did to repossess it. Newton says finally Bob saying finally what ,I am not doing it because you said so I am doing it because I decided that maybe it might that . not even finishing the sentence before saying what ideas do you think you have.

Newton says I glad you asked brother. Bob angry wanting to say something but then simmered down as Newton pointed his finger at his head in a thinking gesture. Newton saying well I do not know maybe where did you take it, I am sure you have a whole long detailed story about how you gave this device a new home. Bob said wanting this to be over with 'I snuck in and took it from the drawer Anything else you need.' Newton says 'there are many things I might need but for now let us Think of a few options. We can just go back in and put it back in the drawer.' Bob says even I could have thought of that but I would have to time it perfectly like the first time. Newton says we can also slip it in the pocket of arnolds dad's coat. At that Bob said that is a something but how are we just going to run into him. Newton said the same way you ran into his house. Bob said ha ha but seriously. Newton says well then brother what is your plan to have the tool appear where it was yesterday. unless you really do you plan sneak back in. Bob says I feel there is something up with this plan of yours but I guess this better work. Newton then says okay then now to figure out where.

(1) "use it enough to notice" just to be clear that was a made up thing from him to justify his actions (for himself). I am not introducing a new canon rules here. I have a feeling if I do not say it here someone is going to use it at some point to think that it was.

I realise I got the characterisation wrong and I have to redo the beginning (up into the 'planning phase') but I think this still worked out well. granted since I did not write that in some of the mixed personalities did linger. I mistakenly wrote Newton like the draft version of their dad and realised after the whole chapter was made trying to make preparations for the next one in the story line. Newton is not a OC since he is on a character that was mentioned in canon but it's based on the sentence 'what comes up must come down' so he is very close to one. anyway I hope you enjoy this brotherly interaction, even though I did not enjoy rewriting this the same day I am sending these to the computer I did enjoy the banter.

in the middle of writing this chapter I began also realising that newtons dialogue is weird on a English speaker level rather than just character style. actually this is how I figured out that I started making the character wrong since Newton was originally going to be "matter-of-fact, what are you doing" type. then it occurred to me that it was a Japanese language approximation not at all related to the English language. anyway when I tried writing the character without that particular tick it just sounded wrong so I kept it in though decreased it. anyway just to make a clear again the vocal patterns are based on techaman blade not anything else. even though the prank stuff still is going on they still have to figure out how to return that device. Hopefully things will continue to be interesting and this was a decent third episode for this week.
