Mike stares blankly at the wall. "Repeat that," he says slowly.

"I took the Boys on a walk," Johnny repeats. "We were doing manly things, you know, and I don't know, it'd been about ten minutes of walking- they were quiet, I assumed things were ok for once, but then." He pauses, and Mike waits him out. Finally he sighs and groans out, "I heard this growling noise behind me and it was a bear. I saw him and I... well, I just took off running. Got to safety but by the time I looked for them, the Boys were gone."

"You lost Dalton Castle's Boys in a bear attack," Miz repeats, still not quite registering this. "Did you... find them?"

"No," he exclaims. "I got out of there, I don't know where they are, or what happened to them."

"Did you at least call the... I don't know, the Mounties? Or someone? Anyone who could try to help find them?" Mike shakes his head, somehow knowing what the answer's going to be.

"I didn't know who to call!" John cries out. "The Mounties? Really? What number do they even use?" He huffs and Mike envisions him tugging at his hair in frustration. "God, I don't know, did Dalton teach these Boys nothing? I thought it'd be easier than this, they weren't even house trained!"

Mike exhales and pinches his nose. "They were probably just acting out, since they were, you know, all but kidnapped."

"Taya and I did not kidnap them," Johnny snaps. "We won them fair and square."

Not for the first time, Mike wonders what his life's become between dealing with R-Truth and his various issues, and now this. I have horrible taste in friends, he thinks. "Well, what are you going to do?"

"I have no clue," John sighs. "Dalton is going to be a pain in the ass until they show up again, so. I guess just try to avoid him and see how Supercard of Honor shakes out."

"Maybe you can fight a bear to get the Boys back," Mike says dryly.

"Don't even say such ridiculous things," John huffs. "That's more Boone's style than Johnny TV."

"Oh right, yes, of course." Mike rolls his eyes. "Not sure what I was thinking."

It's a relief to finally get off of the phone a few minutes later, and Mike sighs, pushing himself to his feet before going to find Sara and George. At least he knows his children are somewhat sensible, intelligent people to spend time with.
