"Tag team wrestling is supposed to be less exhausting, not more," Miz mumbles into the sheets as AJ leans into his back, really digging into his tense muscles. "How is it that I'm the most tense I've been my whole career? I can't believe he put us in a match against the AoP..."

She presses a kiss to his shoulder, still digging her fingers in as deep as she dares. "Poor guy," she coos. "I know Truth is exhausting, but you're doing your best, we all can tell."

He sighs. "You'd think after so long in the business, he'd be getting better at this, not worse."

"Maybe you should go to Adam Pearce with your concerns," she suggests.

Mike scoffs a little. "He can barely control the other situations going on at Raw, much less adding Truth and his various problems to everything. I think it's all mine to contend with. At least for now."

AJ hums. "Maybe you should try talking to Morrison about it," she says. "Johnny knows a lot about Truth and his... ways."

"I already have," Mike sighs. "After awhile, it feels weird. Because of how everything with John's last time in WWE went. I think we're in a good place now and I'd hate to remind him of before."

"Understandable," AJ says. "But it's a thought, if things continue to be difficult in the future."

"Yeah." Mike rolls over so they're face to face and smiles at her. "I think you're probably still the best person for me to talk to about all of this though."

AJ's smile warms, her eyes softening as she leans in to kiss him, lingering with her fingers tangled in his hair. "I'd like that," she murmurs. "I'm always here for you, Mike."

"I know," he says, hands trailing up and down her spine. "Thanks, sweetheart. I love you."

She beams at him, leaning in to press a nice, lingering kiss to his lips. "Love you too, husband," she says, shifting to rest her head on his shoulder, breathing him in slowly. "Always will."

He smiles, pressing kisses to her cheek and jaw, up to her lips. "Same," he says quietly. "Always and forever."
