ep61 (w27 ep2) another technical path (534 words)

I am so happy to begin this as this is finally some thing less introduction or fillery and more on the main path. thank you for anyone that stayed here this long I know I have not made that easy for folks. but here it is Ralphie and the bus.

in terms of the lunch break stuff when I was in elementary school (which for me is all grades before high school) it shifted a few times for recess being first or lunch being first even though they were always back to back. I am using lunch because it is a more universal term. I imagine recess being first before lunch in this case but I had them leave instead of my original plan of him coming back because I realise that would not be realistic for the grade level that these kids are in since some of these portions were for s3 with one season being one year. In which case they would have more freedom of motion then say the grade they are in currently.

with the title 'another path' I do not know why that is the one that stuck but you know that feeling when you know it just should be that is the feeling I had.

Ralphie goes to school it has been hectic since Wednesday when his uncle came to supervise him. His days continued in class with his uncle doing who knows what to supervise him and him being looked closely going to wherever he plans that day after school. it has been annoying but at least none of the creepy stuff he says actually happened.

ms frizzle told him to see her during lunch. something that is unusual and annoying because he wants to play and hang out during that time, definitely with everything happening. he sees the kids in his class leave to go to play he is still at his desk until everyone leaves. at which point he gets up and goes to the front of the class right in front of her desk and says 'what do you need me for.'

ms frizzle says 'I want to talk to you about something special I know you will be good at.'Ralphie just wanting to go out and play already not really wanting to deal with any more something specials with his uncle already on him about it. says 'I think you got the wrong person can I please go back to lunch.'

ms frizzle says 'sorry to delay but we both know her that little friend outside loves take take a peek at everything.' ralphie says 'little friend' a little confused himself confused before frizzle added 'the hunter outside', very low and quiet. at which point Ralphie says 'oh , wait how did you.' frizzle saying back 'I have my ways but at least he is away during lunch.' at which point ralphie says 'so you need me for something.' in a little too much shock about her knowing too try to avoid hearing about work.

ms frizzle responded 'I was thinking of someone to help around the mechanics I am sure you remember Radius the mechanic.' ralphie says 'yeah I remember when I did that, invention.' him remembering how much of a disaster his robotic helper frizzle says 'we learn from making mistakes, any who even if your first invention did not go as planned over the time I knew you have shown qualities much like myself but of course still your own wonderful person. you are someone who is not afraid to make a afraid to get messy and someone who the bus favours.' Ralphie says 'the bus favours me, you must be a mistake the bus is like that to everyone.'

ms frizzle says 'I saw you help Wanda and phoebe bring down the bus after someone decided they want to test it out themselves.' Ralphie says 'wait how did you see that.'frizzle says 'through my window, any who I know your uncle is watching close but if you are in the interest of learning little mechanicing just let me know and who knows maybe something might be in your future' with the twinkle in her eyes. anyhow you are dismissed go to lunch. Ralphie says 'thanks' excited to go down to lunch but knowing that something interesting might happen but unsure if he wants to spend his free time at the mechanic instead of playing sport.

I hope you like this, at one point this was supposed to be 2 to 3 seasons later (since most mechanic volunteer opportunities or not until a little later for various reasons) but I think I want to get everything going.

also I am also considering like another story named another way out which is a Young and the restless story did a special index for characters. but modified to storylines of the characters rather than appearances. since thinking from a readers perspective they are probably those that do not want to go through 40 chapters when they hate either the slow fillers or just do not like a character. (I know that is how I am) The one thing I always am trying to do is make this approachable. The less approachable is the less likely people will enjoy it. I know this would require different manoeuvering since I already have an index of each chapter and where it is located. (a very necessary thing particularly for mobile users) and I do not want to spoil it for viewers who want to go through the whole thing.it likely will be in the recap story that will follow each season to summarize previous activity for recent readers.

The robot episode was in season 2 of the original series named flex your muscles (since episode numbering is not consistent), he might have invented something else before this episode (I am not sure where the haunted house goes). I am writing some of this without really cross-referencing with the exception of the invention episode listed above. anyway I hope you enjoying this week which is the first one in a while to be completely made up of only episodes relating to the children characters. they are quite a few ways this can go and I am not sure which one I will take but like I said in the index you are in for a ride.
