Book I: Birth of the Order
Chapter XII: Break-Fast
Knockturn Alley - November 1979...
Knockturn Alley was cold and damp every day of the year, but the November air brought a new layer of darkness which made the alley frigid. A single lamp burned in the back room of Borgin and Burkes shop as the meeting of Voldemort's followers began to finish. Bellatrix had called the meeting of her most trusted comrades following Snape's discussion with her that Dennis Forrestor had failed at killing Tabitha Delaney and Marlene McKinnon and now he was missing. "He's probably run off, from humiliation." Snape said in regards to the matter.
"Where is my cousin," Bellatrix asked Snape as she twirled her wand in her hand.
"With your sister and Brother in Law, of course. He's been staying with them. You're the one who called the meeting, not me. If you wanted Regulus here, you should have said something."
"Don't you dare tell me what I can and can't do!" She snapped at him and practically lunged across the table. A slender man with dark features rested his hand on her shoulder. "Easy, Trixie," He said and she smacked him away shouting, "I've told you not to call me that, Rudolphus!" He husband stumbled back but kept his composure. It was three against one, as Snape sat across from Bellatrix, her husband and his brother. "The Dark Lord won't be pleased when he hears of Dennis deserting us. He will want answers. We cannot dissappoint him."
"That's where I come in," Rudolphus Lestrange said, rubbing his side burn from where his young wife had hit him. "My contact at the ministry tells me that your cousin Sirius was spotted in the Department for the Reguluation and Control of Magical Creatures. He said he caught Remus Lupin there as well and there was another."
"That would be Potter or Pettigrew," Snape chimed in.
"What were they doing there?" Bellatrix hissed
"They aren't sure but it seems they are trying to get to ministry resources before us to destroy them."
"If they were in that department they were probably destorying animagi records," Snape said.
Bellatrix turned and walked over to him. "And why would they do that, Snape?" She asked.
"Because animagi make good spies. They don't want us knowing who has the ability to transform so we can't recruit them. They probably caught wind that Fenrir Greyback is working with us too. If they find out Voldemort is trying to recruit werewolves, they'll wand to keep as many in hiding as they can."
"Very clever," she said pacing around.
"Not quite," Snape stood up to feel equal to the rest of the room. "I happen to know some animagi in their ranks. I know at least four of them are."
"And Fenrir already told us that Lupin is one of his, mutts." Rudolphus said proudly and looked at Snape. "Bet you didn't know that about your old classmate."
"Not at all..." Snape said sarcastically.
"Well well," Bellatrix said as she walked over and pat Snape on the chin. "I guess we will have some information to bring to Voldemort after all."
Just then they heard a voice at the back door, "You can have more than just information if you bring the animagi to Voldemort himself." The person who had spoken wore a dark brown trench coat. He was so slim and pale he looked like a ghost, but had dark features.
"Forrestor," Rudolphus walked over and shook his hand. "Good of you to join us."
"Where is my brother?" Was all he said in response.
"Snapey here says he's run off," Bellatrix said.
"Bullshit," the man said. "My brother believed in this shit show more than I did and yet here I am. If I'm still here, he's still here." He caught Snapes eye and tilted his head. "You know something. Don't you, Hogwarts?"
"I've shared everything I know," Snape said with an uninterested tone.
"Which is?"
"Regulus was supposed to meet your brother in Paris at the hostel and he never showed."
"Interested... then why did an owl bring me this?" He pulled paper from his pocket and read it aloud, "Maximus, I'll be staying at this hostel in Paris one more night. I think my target will be back tonight... most likely alone. I've forgone the opportunity to eliminate her this long, I may as well try for recruitment first. I found a book here that contains a family prophecy referring to Lord Voldemort. Her information regarding this could be crucial. You go on to the flat. I should be back by weeks end." Max then put the note in his pocket and checked his watch. "Now according to my watch, it's been... hmmmm... 4 bloody weeks since I got this letter and you've done nothing?!" He kicked the nearby chair away from him. "Who was his target?! What did she do to him?!" He asked Bellatrix.
"Her name is Tabitha. She's no use to you. She was with Marlene McKinnon and-" Snape was cut off as Max spun around and grabbed him by the neck so quickly that Snape was taken off guard. Max yanked Snape, smacking him down to the table and pinning him there. "Was I talking to you, little boy?" Snape refused to give him the satisfaction of an answer but when Max applied more pressure he whispered, "N-no." Max let go and Snape jumped up, straightening his hair and clothing instantly. Bellatrix just laughed at the display and Maximus turned to face her. "Laugh all you want. I will find my brother."
"Don't be such a sap," she rolled her eyes.
"What's this about animagi you were talking about when I came in?" Max demanded to know.
"Just a little project we are thinking about. Sounds like Dumbledore's little kids have picked up the skill. Snape here knows at least 4 of them."
"Well isn't Master Snape just a bundle of help tonight," the pale man said. "You keep your little animal project to yourself. I'll be going to find my brother. And if someone did something to him..." He looked back at Snape. "I will make their life such a living hell, that a dementors kiss will sound pleasant."
The Next Morning at the Potter Estate...
Peter was the first one awake which was unusual for him. Typically Sirius was always the first of the bunch to wake up so he could claim the largest bathroom for himself to primp himself for the day. November had started with a cool morning, the smell of autumn leaves, and a layer of dew on Mrs. Potter's garden. Peter had made his way down to the dining room where Kip the house elf was setting up breakfast. The little house elf wore a navy blue dress coat that had belonged to James as a boy. Peter tilted his head at the elf as he came in to the dining room. "I've never really asked you but... where did you get your coat?"
"Oh!" The little elf jumped and looked back at him giving him a small bow. "Masters Potters gifted me this years ago."
"They freed you? But you still work here?"
"Misters Potters says Kip is 'family' now." The elf beamed proudly and waved Peter over to his seat. He pulled the chair out and Peter sat down. The elf smacked a napkin onto his lap and then hurried back to the serving table to fetch him some tea. Peter stared up at the paintings of the Potter family and all their ancestors. He scrunched his nose a bit at the center portrait of James and his parents. It was so overdone that it made his friend look like a prince beside the king and queen. "Kip, was it?"
"Yes sirs."
"Did you always work with the Potters? Or did they hire you when James was born?"
"Hire? Oh no no no. Kip was borns here. Kips came with the house."
'The Potters haven't always lived here?"
"No no. Misters Potter gots his forturne when hes was not much older than yous. Bought this home with his gold for his family. Poor Poor Misses. Took her so longs to have young ones. Finally Master James was borns and here we are!"
He poured the tea in front of Peter who nodded to thank him. Peter looked across the dining room. The china cabinet was stocked with a blend of humble tea sets, clearly family heirlooms, as well as fine china. James' Quidditch trophies were atop the mantle and his head boy badge was framed and hanging on the wall beside many more framed Prefect and Head Boy badges of Potter men past. "I had a house like this once," Peter said suddenly when Kip returned to his side with a plate of food. The little elf looked up at him as if waiting for the rest of the story. "A long time ago," he continued then took the plate from Kips hands. "I like talking to you, Kip. You listen." Just then the door opened and Tabitha came in. "Morning, Delaney."
"Hey Pete," she said and waved to Kip. "Oh, well good morning to you."
"Misses Tabitha. Tea or coffee?"
"Coffee thanks. Black." The elf scurried off and Tabitha sat across Peter with a yawn.
"Get enough sleep?"
"No... I kept having dreams," she sighed.
"What kind?"
"Well for starters, I'm pretty sure Alice Longbottom is pregnant. She was in my dreams three times last night and each time was either pregnant or carrying a little boy." She took the coffee cup from Kip and shook her head when he offered her a plate of food. She gave the coffee a sip before setting it down to cool. "It would explain why Frank keeps calling her 'fragile'."
"Can you imagine... one of us pregnant and having kids already?"
"I can believe it of Alice. That sweet soul has always been a mother. Frank though, he's not going to know what to do with the poor thing." She grinned. She looked at Peter for a while silently then asked. "Are you ok, Pete? You seem... I don't know... kind of solemn this morning."
"Don't try to psycho-analyze me with your divination skills, Delaney. You'll hurt yourself." He bit into his toast then said with a full mouth. "Any other odd dreams?"
"Just one more. I had a dream about a bunch of people coming to the house for a party..."
"The wedding?"
"Maybe... but then it was just me and Remus, everyone else was gone and... and we..."
"...did 'it'?"
"Peter!" She snapped, smacking her cup down.
"Sorry sorry! I didn't realize I asked that out loud. What happened?"
"I dreamt that we were attacked. Then I woke up."
"Attacked by who?"
"By... a... attacked by a werewolf."
The two sat silently for a while before Peter said. "I heard you two arguing at the tea table yesterday. You asked to come help us in a couple nights. He told you his secret then?"
"Yea... the day I got back. I just want to help him."
"I know, Tabitha, and that's nice. But trust me... if we didn't have our animagi powers we wouldn't be able to step foot in that shack with him. You're safer here."
"I guess."
"And I know you're probably nervous about Mary coming back-"
"Why would I be nervous about that?" Her head spun around and faced him.
"Well because she had a bad crush on him at school and they went to the Christmas party together."
"Did Remus tell you something about us?"
"Um, no." He shrugged casually then kept eating.
Tabitha couldn't explore more as the door opened and Sirius walked in, having just finished his preening in the bathroom. "Morning Children." He walked over to Kip. "Coffee. Black."
"That's how Tabitha takes it too," Peter said.
"In that case add some milk." Sirius grunted. The elf did so and he took the cup without saying thank you. He walked to the wall of portraits and lifted his cup to toast one picture of himself and James on graduation day. "Looking good, handsome."
"Well, Padfoot." Peter said. "How does it feel knowing in 48 hours, your teen years will be gone?"
"Oh, you know... it will be hard to be the eldest in the room, Peter-"
"I'm two months older than you, Black-" Tabitha tried to insist.
"BUT," Sirius ignored her, "I will strive to be a good leader." He plopped himself down and looked back at Kip. "Toast and eggs," he said and then quickly added a "Please," as Marlene walked in. "Still going on about your birthday plans, Black?"
"Still using my hair gel, McKinnon?"
"Actually," She said pouring her own tea despite Kip's protests and stood beside the table. "My maid of honor duties kick in today. I'll be working with Mrs. Potter in her garden to harvest some winter roses for the party and decorating the house. The week will fly by with us being so busy during the day."
"And four of us busy during the night," Peter mumbled at the thought of the impending moon.
"Wait," Tabitha said. "Black, your birthday is the 3rd."
"Ten points to Gryffindor," Sirius teased.
"It's just that... well I know Remus isn't feeling himself this week. The 4th is coming up." She said thinking of the moon but not wanting to specify it as Marlene still didn't know the secret. "And that's a hard day for him."
"Don't you worry about my Moony. We will get him in bed at a decent hour," He said with a knowing look to her. He then looked to Marlene. "See, Best man duties don't start until after my birthday."
"I still can't believe James asked all of you to be his best man."
"Admit it, Tabitha. You're a bit jealous you weren't asked," Sirius said.
"Oh please, We've had our Maid of Honor roles picked out since 3rd year. We each get a turn. Marlene is Lily's Maid of Honor, Lily is to be mine, I would have been Alice's if she hadn't eloped, and Alice will be Marley's.
"That's right," Marlene said. "Then we go in reverse order for Godparents."
"So if Tabitha's dream is correct then that means Marlene is about to have a Godchild!" Peter blurted out.
"What?" Marlene looked over. "Did you have a dream that Alice is pregnant?"
"It's just a dream."
"But yours are always true."
"Please don't say that," Tabitha said thinking over the end of her dream involving the werewolf attack.
"What are we talking about?" Lily asked as she entered but quickly turned her attention to the house elf, "Good morning, Master Kip." The little elf blushed and offered her some tea which she accepted.
"Talking about how Marlene is going to be a Godmother," Peter blurted out.
"Alice is pregnant?" Lily asked remembering the plan the friends had discussed one morning over Hogwarts breakfast.
"I just had a dream about it last night."
"I knew something was up with Longbottom. He barely let Alice touch anything." Lily sat down and pulled The Dailey Prophet from the center of the table.
"Why do you read that rubbish?" Sirius asked.
"Because it's important to know what's going on." She sipped her tea as she read. "I need James to get down here. We have got a lot to share."
"We know," Sirius groaned. "Wedding plans."
"No, you dingus," She said to him. "Last night James and I were messing with the wands and we discovered that to use them-" She stopped as her eyes fell on the undesirables list and she paled.
"Lily?" Tabitha asked. "What is it? What's wrong?"
"Is Remus up yet?"
"No," Peter said. "He didn't fall asleep until late. We didn't want to wake him. Everything ok?"
"No... it's not." Lily grabbed the newspaper and left the room. Everyone looked at each other silently across the table confused, but knowing something was up.
Lily hurried into the corridor and barely acknowledged Mr. Potter who was coming in the front door from his morning walk. James was coming down the grand staircase as Lily hurried up the steps. "Lily? What is it?"
"Remus." Was all she said.
"He's just gotten up. I'm going to ask Kip to send a tray up for him. The days before the moon are always hard for-" Lily didn't let him finish but ran the rest of the way up the steps. James just glanced down the stairs at his father who shook his head and said, "You'll never be able to keep up with women James. They always are one step ahead of us."
Remus was sitting on the edge of the spare bed in Sirius' room. The room was very humble, not as personalized as James'. Sirius' trunk was at the edge of one bed and the vanity was covered in Vinyl albums and magazines. There were a few paintings on the wall, hand painted my Mrs. Potter as it was one of her many hobbies. Remus' bed was beside the open window where a scruffy owl perched. In Remus' hand was a letter that he'd clearly finished reading as he just clutched it in his hand but looked out the window. Lily knew she was too late, but softly said, "Remus?" He turned his head to her and his eyes were so tired.
"She's been arrested," he said. "Edna Bones. Dad just sent me a letter."
"I know," she said setting The Prophet on the nightstand. "I saw her name on the Undesirable list. I was hoping to be the one to tell you."
"Dad found out last night through some old colleagues. They were trying to stop it but it was too late. She was arrested for," he lifted the letter and read it aloud, "conspiracy against the Ministry of Magic." He crumbled up the letter. "So utterly vague." Lily didn't say anything but walked over to the bed and sat beside him as he continued. "She just unlocked a door for us... and now she's arrested. This isn't about her, it's about us. Barty Crouch is behind this. I know it. He couldn't arrest us last month at the Ministry because it would peg him as Death Eater and so they bided their time to work against an innocent woman to send a message to us all."
"Remus this isn't your doing..."
"I challenged him, Lily" Remus snapped but calmed himself when he looked her in the eye. "I thought I was putting only myself at risk, but once again I hurt innocent people." He sighed. "You know the other half of it... yesteday was the first time I sent a letter to Mum and Dad telling them where I am and they send back this news." He shook his head, "more proof that I did the right thing leaving."
"Remus.. You know they didn't want you to leave."
"I know... But if I stay there with the wolf the way it is, I hurt them. I'm a burden to them. If I try to help The Order, I get other people hurt. Just once I wish my actions would only affect me and leave others the hell alone!" He realized his voice had grown to a shout when she rested a hand on his. "I'm sorry, Lily."
"Will you write back to your dad? I'm sure he wants you too."
"He want's me to come home."
"Why don't you? Just to visit for a day or so after the moon. Bring them back for the party."
"I can't face him Lily. I can't face anyone who I've hurt."
"Well," she grinned. "There is a room full of people downstairs you haven't hurt."
"Not yet..."
There was a clanking sound approaching and both turned to see the tea tray from Kip levitating into the room. It drifted in front of Remus who said, "I'm not really hungry" and the tray moved to the bed and set down beside him.
"Remember how I used to visit you in the hospital wing each month after I found out your secret and you were so frustrated at yourself for being unable to control the change each month?"
"How can I forget?" He smiled at her as he remembered her kindness. It was following a massive fight with the lads regarding his wolf and Lily felt like his only friend in the world who knew his secret but only saw him as a person. "You always took the... what did you call them?"
"The grumpies."
"Right. You took the grumpies away." He smiled at Lily who pat her shoulder. Remus raised an eyebrow and smirked as if to say he was too old to be fussed over now, but Lily just patted her shoulder again. Remus faked annoyance as he sighed and rested his head on her shoulder. Lily rested her head on his and swayed slightly as if rocking him. "What song then," she asked.
"You pick."
Lily thought for a moment and they softly sang "The Parting Glass"
Of all the money that e'er I had
I spent it in good company
And all the harm I've ever done
Alas it was to none but me
And all I've done for want of wit
To mem'ry now I can't recall
So fill to me the parting glass
Good night and joy be to you all
James had told the others downstairs about Lily's wand discovery and everyone, eager to test the theory, quickly finished their breakfast as fast as they could so they could fetch their wands and test the theory. James finished the letter to Theseus Scamander and rolled it up for the owl when he loooked up to Sirius. "You know mate," he said, "Mum asked up to setup the tent for the party today. Maybe we can use the new wands to practice levitating it to get used to them."
"I like my wand," He pulled out a wand made of pale aspen wood from his vest pocket. It had a gemstone on the end and a golden spiral design.
"I know you love your wand, Sirius. I'll admit it's one of the prettiest ones, but what would you do if a Death Eater snapped that in half? You need to get used to the spares." He thought for a moment. "I know what will cheer you up. What if I gave you your gift early?"
Sirius perked up at that and sat up straight. "My gift?"
"Yep. Follow me."
Marlene, Tabitha and Peter watched them leave and Peter shrunk a bit in his chair for not being included in the surprise. He looked back to the girls and said, "So what wedding plans do you have Marlene?"
"No time, Pete." She said as she finished her toast and beans and quickly ran to go get her practice wand. When the dining room door slammed shut behind her Tabitha looked back to Peter. "Just us again, then." She looked to the door. "I wonder what lily saw in the Paper."
"Edna Bones was arrested." He said. Tabitha looked back to him surprised and he added, "I saw the list of undesirables when I sat down."
"Why didn't you say anything?"
"Well I figured one of you would see it and go to help Moony through it. You lot are better at comforting than I am."
Tabitha was astonished at his ability to compartmentalize. She'd always felt in school that he was the exact opposite. Peter never hid his emotions well whenever he was nervous or scared of something. He always seemed so anxious. Yet there were other moments he became so self-obsorbed that it made him seem apathetic to everything else. "You're quite good with secrets, Pete."
"I guess."
"Then... can I trust you with something?"
Peter seemed to perk up at that request, "You want something from me? Just me alone? You'll trust me with that."
"Of course!" She smiled. "Lily's wedding gown arrived from her Mum, and James keeps trying to sneak a peek at it. Would you hide it in your trunk? Mine is full."
Peter's countenance dropped at the request and all he could say was, "Oh... sure."
"Thanks, Pettigrew. You're a gem." She took another sip of coffee and hurried out to fetch the dress.
Sirius and James walked out of the mansion onto the gravel pathway that led them to the carriage house.
"Are you giving me one of Fleamont's antique cars?"
"You're getting warm."
"Oh! Do I get the carriage house? You know I've wanted to convert it to a loungue for a while now, we just have to figure out how to kick out that ghastly farm ghost."
"Colder. Much colder." He laughed. They got to the door and James flicked his wand to unlock the gate but stood in front of it. "Listen Padfoot. I know the last couple of months have not been easy for you. Lily and I have been spending the year together, really getting to know one another more, and now we are engaged. I know everything happening with Reuglus has been hard for you and you feel sort of trapped in life while the rest of us are moving forward-"
"Trapped? I hardly think-"
"Don't, Padfoot." James said seriously. "Don't deflect. I know you better. I know it's been hard for you. But I don't want you to feel trapped. I want you to feel as free as you can so-" He lifted up a key and Sirius recognized it right away.
"James... is that?" He snatched it without waiting for an answer and pushed the doors to the carriage house open. Inside, wrapped in a bow with a bit of parchment reading "Happy Birthday Sirius!" was a stunning motorcycle with a sidecar. It was the one Sirius had been drooling over in the magazine for months. He walked to it and gently ran his hands along the handle. He slung his leg over the bike and sat gently on the seat.
"Now you can feel that wind in your hair. I always said flying is freedom, but you don't like using a broom so I found something more your style. It's even got a side-car so you can take out a date."
Sirius gave him a long stare, but after a moment his expression softened and he exhaled as if the performance he'd been putting on for weeks was at a standstill. "You know, Prongs..." he thought to himself for a moment then spoke sincerely. "I didn't tell you the full story when I came here that night when we were 16. There was a reason I flipped out on my family that night. I was angry about more than just how they were treating Andromeda. I had just gotten a letter from Remus. You remember I'd played that idiotic prank on him the end of the school year. Well I kept writing him asking for forgiveness and... he wrote me and said he didn't want to speak to me again. At the same time I got the letter from you gushing about Lily and how you couldn't stop thinking of her all Summer. I thought the Marauders were done. I thought I had ruined it. That one stupid prank had torn my friends apart. But you James... you just wouldn't have it. You were the one who insisted we stay roommates that year. You wrote Remus and convinced him to come back to school. You're the one who helped Remus and Peter get trust in me again. Now, I'm not a good guy-"
"Pads-"
"No. I'm not asking for validation here. I mean it. I'm not a good guy, most of the time. And I know that because when you told me you were going to marry Lily, I felt it all in jeopardy again because you're the glue that holds us together. I've been angry about it for weeks when I should be happy for you and here you are giving me a gift? James, I don't deserve it. All I need. All I want. Is the Marauders to never fade."
"Oh Padfoot. We are never going to fade. We all got through a hard time together and now you all are my best men! The four of us are going to go out in two nights and have some great fun for your 20th Birthday! Then we all will stick together again for Remus the next night. A few days later, you will be there for me as my best men. All the while, we stand together in the fight for good against evil. If we can stick together through all of that, we can stick together through anything. He smiled. "And nobody in our group thinks you're bad. None of them."
"Well we are lucky. I don't really have any complicated past with any of them."
Just then they heard a knock at the door of the house and Sirius got off the bike. "Come on," James said. "That's probably the new Order Member we are expecting. You can take this for a test drive later."
"Fine," they locked up the shed and saw someone on the porch speaking to Kip at the door. Sirius muttered as they walked, "by they way if you ever tell anyone I got sentimental like that, I'll kick you in the nads." They both laughed, and for one moment, Sirius truly felt he could let his guard down around the group and start opening up more. That came to a hault when he saw who was at the door. He froze and mumbled, "You..."
Meanwhile in Knockturn Alley...
Maxmius Forrestor sat on the steps leading up to his Knockturn Alley flat and smoked a cigarette as he watched the sky above grow into a morning haze. He heard steps approaching but didn't bother looking. He just removed the cigarette case from his pocket and held it out. The boney fingers of Fenrir Greyback pulled a cigarette from the case and it lit itself as he put it to his lips. "How was your night at work dear?" Greyback teased.
"No sign of Dennis. They think he's run off."
"Not our little Denny," Greyback said between puffs of smoke.
"I don't buy it. Not after everything we have been through."
"Oh a sentimentalist. How nice. You know I love when you get in touch with your feminine side."
"Don't be an ass."
"Sorry, that's all I know how to be."
Max stood up to finally face Fenrir. "What's the name of the witch you've been tailing?"
"McKinnon."
"Interesting. She was with the witch Dennis was supposed to take out when he went missing. Is she a threat?"
"Whole family is. McKinnons are strong, I'll admit. I don't think the kids really know how much. They've been getting stronger each year."
"Anyone else in Dumbledore's little group you're targeting?"
"I don't target anyone, Maxy. That's your department. I'm here to have fun." He blows out a puff of smoke and it forms into a Hippogryff and soars around until it vanishes. He laughs at it, "Actually there is one person I haven't played with in a while. One of my mutts. Lupin."
"Lupin? They mentioned his name when I walked in. Lestrange says he was seen at the ministry, I assume by Crouch."
"That little brat still trying to earn favor in our ranks?"
"Afraid so, and I'm afraid he will win. Nepotism always wins."
"Not always. Take Lupin for example. I turned him when he was 5. I could have made him into a fine stud of a Werewolf but no, he Just had to go off to school and become a commoner. So much waisted potential." He looked to Max. "Why did they say he was at the ministry."
"Something about Animagi records. Sounds like they have some on their team. It would be useful to have an animagi here."
"Why Max!" Greyback pretended to be offended. "Are you saying my Wolf isn't enough for you once a month?"
"Given that you'd probably murder me if I went anywhere near it, yes... it's fair to admit I'd prefer an animal I can leash."
"Kinky." Greyback chuckled and finished his cigarette. "So then... you need answers from the witch that saw your brother last. I need bait for McKinnon. We need answers from one of them about who in their group is an animagi so we can use them to our own benefit? Is that the size of it."
"There's more." Max reached in his pocket and pulled out Dennis' note. He passed to to Greyback who quickly read it. "A Prophecy?" Greyback asked.
"Delaney knows about. That's all I know."
"Maximus," Greyback handed the note back to him. "I think i know what our next date night will be."
"What's that?"
"We are going to crash a wedding."
Hello everyone, I loved this chapter because we are starting to get into the backstories of characters we aren't as familiar with like Peter, Tabitha, Marlene and James' sweet parents. New chapters posted each Tuesday, but this weekend I'll be updating this book by transferring chapters from my old account so new readers can catch up on the entire story! Be sure to follow along.
