wow when I was planning on creating this I never thought it would be around 2000 words. I guess I really wanted to end this publishing schedule before the summer hiatus with a bang. I would not be surprised that I spent eight hours with this chapter sometimes four hours each between Sunday and Monday. I think Newton and Arnold talking will Bring some closure. enough closure for me too begin the summer hiatus without it seeming like a cliffhanger. obviously we are going to have to explore Bob later but I think everyone can wait to see how Bob gets in trouble More than they can wait to see a loved canon character deal with everything. I hope Newton finding him is not done weirdly I am just doing the best I can. so now here we go.

I am going to state this this was written probably closer to how do my exchanges in which I do not write anything in order even if that is usually more research related. basically later paragraphs could have been written before earlier paragraphs, it is a jumble. and the sad thing is unlike usually when I do this message everything else they were written within the same week. (A lot of time when this happens are usually there is a month or two difference,sometimes a year for bigger stories that needed to be updated) something just was not clicking for awhile but I needed something. granted I think the bigger issue is that I was trying to write this one and the one from last week and last week just was not going well for the second half.

I will try to have everyone get some sort of attention after the hiatus. I will say I possibly have something for Phoebe. for Ralphie and more on point his uncle, He is going to fade a little bit for some time. I enjoy showing him but he needs to acquaint himself with his uncle little bit before he can come back 'on screen' in the way he has been for the past weeks. He is basically dealing with the dynamic shown back in the arcade episode in which his uncle watches him and Ralphie is trying to get used to it along with his uncle's beliefs about vampires. anyway time for the spring finale.

Newton had to leave when ms frizzle class came back from lunch though he knew there was more. he knows something was bothering Arnold with the whatever happened with connecting with the ship. (not to mention the severing) he walked into a severing ceremony usually reserved for worst case scenarios. so he wanted to see if Arnold was all right and decides to find him. Newton finds Arnold sitting down in the grass and sits right next to him.

Arnold says 'hi newton', leaving out the what are you doing before Newton says 'just checking up considering you fell out of it a few times recently I wanted to keep track.' Arnold says 'I am ok' forcefully. Newton says 'there seems to be a little more to fall into considering you seem to have dropped a connection.'Arnold 'said there is nothing 'to fall into' I am fine and I am done.'Newton said 'if you think I am going to drop into that reason', before pausing midway to say it straightforward. 'no one sever is a connection and feels 'alright.'' Arnold says 'anything I feel is better than before.' Newton says 'better than a connection.' Arnold response 'nothing I cannot live with.'

Newton says do not even bother, I am at the quiet one myself you know occasionally, considering everything that happens I know there is something to fall into with this, I just want to make sure you can stand it/not dropped out after that.' Arnold says 'stand it, well better than the burning not sting but in your face like feeling occasionally. better than that connection that tries to call you,at least this is tolerable.I mean why is it so hard to understand. you have Bob for a brother, you never want to avoid his magical nonsense.'

Newton says 'yes I have a brother you know,he always made everything not as it was supposed to just like he is doing now. We might have been at each other and I played along/continued with (was the cause of) more things than you ever were in fights and the existing drama. but as much as I am annoyed at my brother and I really really wish for certain things to fall away, we do what we do.' with Arnold 'saying ya wreck everything.' before Newton comes in 'as much as my brother acts like my brother I just wanna make sure, of the lack of connection,

it happens occasionally but usually quickly replaced after all...' Arnold 'says stop it with the connection stuff, do you think I might have had a enough with dealing with it.' Newton says 'I feel there is a lot in this life that we had enough with, says even trying to live a quiet time I know you have to deal with at the some of the magic and mayhem life had to offer your matter how much I wished just to continue on with everything.' Arnold says 'apparently that means having everyone annoy my side of the family doing everything we prefer to ignore.' knowing it's not really have much to do with the current situation but it was starting to get on his nerves after last week's prank combined with what happened earlier that day. Newton responded 'I might like things as they should be which basically means the rules of the universe not being flipped around by my brother but I never understood almost no one understands your side of the family is emphasis on your the way things shall being.'Arnold answered 'My family never deals with them as you so put it because they know the chaos it brings. they know better than to play around with magical gadgets.

I know me and Bob went a bit overboard,he was having a tantrum about a shirt that got colour changed but I, I did not really we did not really expect that to happen', referring to the reaction. Arnold said 'if you really saw what happened that night that sudden sting then you find something else to trip over instead of my issues.' Newton said 'stinging', with Arnold saying 'yes stinging.' Newton says 'that isn't as it should be but..' pausing midway thinking of the few stories that he heard but choosing the way that makes most sense. Arnold beginning to get real annoyed about dealing with all of that stuff says 'but what.. what if what if I just want to live normal life, I just wanna go home and not find out it is wet because someone want to bring some soaking water, because you wanted (6) to, I do not know, be annoying.' Newton says 'I can see how splashing the house might have been a bit troublesome but for everything else, I might have used to stumble a lot and even though I do not trip as much somehow that never fell away but sometimes you just have to deal with what you got.'

Arnold says I guess I do not want that empty echo and hope it will fade out/down. of course I do not want my head to be searching for nothing but it is not like I got any choice.' newton said 'our gadgets are apart of us as much as anything else, something between us I have been explaining to my brother for the past week.' being a little grumpy about the last half before continuing. 'granted you were young to have such a gadget, though given the circumstances.' thinking about Ralphie's, uncle Ed. though giving the circumstances.' thinking about Ralphies uncle slightly offended about the age comments said 'hey, but is there any reason you here and so interested about my reactions to his gadget other than to remind me about how this week went.' Newton says 'like I said I just wanted to see how you were doing I thought you were having some elemental issues that night and I was a little curious about such a sudden reaction.' Arnold said 'elemental.' Newton says 'I noticed a reaction of sorts to the power of water and it did not seem as it should be for you considering how I never saw it before.'

Arnold then says 'I mean what happened that night was weird but only thing I was talking about the regular connections feeling that happens , happened, every now and then.' Arnold changing his words from present tense to past tense before continuing 'but I did think what happened then just another annoying side-effect.'Newton said 'no that, I guess is not usually discussed often because of the rarity of such gadgets and abilities.' Arnold says 'rarity, just my luck of course considering when I agreed I thought it was off, (as in 'turned off' not 'it looked off') but it feels the only thing I ever asked was to live a normal life,to live life like everything was intended. and of course I get stuck with some elemental gadget.'

Newton says but even if it is still a little out of sorts 'I was shocked to see those scissors. usually that is the only done and worst case scenarios.' Arnold says 'that I just wanted to remove that connection forever and to never deal with devices and all of that nonsense, I am just sick of everything, I have to watch all this nonsense and then I got stuck of a partially activated ship.' Newton says I also feel half the stuff they do is nonsense and Is definitely not as it should be but there was a reason she did have you look over it for a time even if I am still a little shocked she had you keep it at such a age but I have nothing against her with everything going on. Arnold responded 'I know, at least with this, and I understand why she had me keep it though I am happy it is over. hopefully I will figure out a way to last the year and then live a normal life with just day-to-day family chaos at worst.' referring to trying to finish the year with ms frizzle without mentioning her field trip techniques.

Newton says 'there is a reason why no one bothered with that gadget for so long.'at this Arnold says 'there is.' Newton says 'other than the obvious fact that no one really knew where I was exactly it was really powerful. I heard it was able to control a portion of the ocean if used with someone familiar with it.(1) Arnold says 'I do not know how much I have to hope and try and wish for nothing freaky to happen to me. why am I stuck like this. when will everything just be done and I could go on living a normal life.' Newton says 'I hate to say something so harsh considering what you went through today but nothing normal ever happens in this family and sometimes you just have to understand it is what it is. even if this is more unusual situation with such a special gadget. but like I said I never ready dealt with cuttings of connections but even the slightest rumours make it sound something to avoid.' Arnold's says 'we all know that we both want to avoid all of this. before newton quickly added 'I mean with side effects.' with a pause in which even Arnold can see the pity that newton gave before continuing saying 'the deep effects, reactions from it.' quickly changing effects to a simpler then says 'I guess I do want that empty echo to go away of course I do you not want my head to be searching for nothing but it's not like I got any choice. does it , fade.' Newton says 'that echo never really stops but you find a way to deal with it,so I hear. I might not understand why anyone would live that life on purpose but I will be around since I already know anyway. if you feel anything isn't as it shall be I will do it when I can, magicless of course.'

Arnold thought he was told the risks and asked anyway. 'why do you know, I mean you seem to know a bit about this sort of stuff. Newton said which sort of ,with Arnold saying back connections, I thought you had a gadget. Newton says there is a lot of things I know. maybe someday I will tell you during a better time when it is not right after you got a connection severed. But I will say I do know more than the average person. with Arnold saying one last thing 'how do you , how did you get out through everything with any sort of common sense.' with Newton laughing before saying 'I just let everything flow by, unless when my brother was concerned of course some of the time. my brother was more than making sure it "better happened" type while I usually let things pass by as it should be. still we brought a lot of nonsense ourselves over the years so who am I to say.'

after that Newton begins to gather him stuff and says 'even if this is a bit (insert word for it not usual or usual or recommended) I will avoid going deeper. I think my brother will be the talk of the town for a least a week or two if his deniability, oh you probably do not understand what that means, ability to get not to get caught by someone fell down (4) and who knows who will do what after that. I guess enjoy your gadgetless life, if that is what you really wanted.' as he walks away into the shadows with Arnold thinking this is what he wanted even if the echo in there seems to call for something else partially he will avoid any tricks as mind plays and go on with his day.

I chose this particular quote and song for the internal dilemma of fate, I decided to separate some of the lyrics because I did not want to not give away the dialogue. That ending probably makes more sense If you have at least a slight understanding of Durarara. (which I actually only saw a YouTube recommendation about it but that particular scene still stuck) basically had a conversation about how things will go back to normal in "6 months." The night before publishing I realised it sounded like it info dump for those not aware of the parallel. in terms of why there is a 6 for the footnotes, I just chose a number that I was pretty sure I did not have a footnote because I did not want to make a duplicate number in my footnotes again. (it was four/five in the morning I was not going to judge my judgment)

I think this turned out good granted this is a episode I made in different segments not from beginning to end and unlike the other times they were written within the same week. (A lot of time when this happens are usually there is a month or two difference,sometimes a year for bigger stories that needed to be updated) this took a lot even if there are flaws particularly with the reaction to the first mention about that 'in your face' reaction. (The original line was that 'stinging' line used later and it was a mix of not being able to think and some of the ones I thought of being moved other places) I think everything else worked as perfectly as it was ever going too. I only mention that floor because I know it makes him look more 'heartless' at worst or 'unfocused' at best even though that was not the intention. this episode probably took 10/11 hours with about 4/5 of them used for making and about another 6 editing and moving things. (to then move them later)

I was going to publish it a little differently but then I realized I then again screwed up Newton. many things I can do but newtons voice I really have to be in the mindset so I have to time make a draft for his voice for the meaning and then do his tone later because of how distinct it is. (usually if I laugh as crazy as that sounds it means I did it right) it is really hard to keep the snarky and the go with the flow 'as it should be' since they kind of contradict but when they do not it is so beautiful. not to mention this was a different direction since well I based the chunk of this on go with the flow and sabrer/evil (yes that is literally what they came up with and that was the Japanese version) from technoman blade. a character who only trash talks his brother for the majority of the series.

I would say other than maybe the first chunk of episodes when I was basically making the universe episodes with newton take the most time. though even including those beginning episodes Newton gets the most rewrites with maybe the exception of the beginning of the vampire stuff but for two different reasons. though in terms of newtons less than usual grammar , this is done to show that he is changing his language on the fly to simpler words since he realizes he is talking to a child.

I considered doing this until the third week of June but other than Bob (which we can kind of know what will happen though I still have to go a little deeper) everything is tied up. I will probably begin back at September. I will probably still have that Christmas exchange but I will try not to do something dumb like I did last year and overload myself. also probably the site will be more cooperative life has a habit of weird stuff happening to me probably why I like soap operas so who knows. there is likely to be a winter hiatus for holidays and maybe somewhere else depending on how other hobbies go. (winter is the busy season but it would be more likely a one or two week break rather than a lengthy hiatus like last year) everything should be back to normal by mid January. still we have many storylines with many characters to go through like mentioned above. anyhow enjoy the summer.
