ep84 (w39 ep1) A Present Box Uninvited (471 words)

Now we are back with Bob. and everything is going to explode. (mostly metaphorically) this episode is not that good for the first one coming back. I thought I had to start with this story line and this was unavoidable. You know there is some issues when this was when the ending was fixed up the weekend of it and 2 to 3 were done before it, of the same storyline. (though this draft began first) granted most of this came out fine so you will definitely enjoy it but yeah there's no ending.

I know I got this a little late and then the hiatus happened which made this be bump it to the first week but I heard it mention in whenever one of Memoriums (The daytime Emmys but we are trying not make any location in the world obvious) that the actor that did teenage Vicky died. (one life to live) (this might be removed if not relevant or correct with the rest, seems to be the right show at least) I am not sure if this was an actor that played her when she was a teenager early on before they switched actors (since that happens sometimes) or if this was just an actor that did a few flashback scenes but as I mentioned early on a based both Janet and Arnold dynamic on the show magic school bus obviously but also on Vicky and her sister is dynamic as the good one and the naughty one. even though I have not watched a single episode of her (of either Vicky's) I just tried to give a shout out because without her portrayal who knows if this story would have happened.

Arnold's dad finds out that Bob of all people really did take his tool. he does not really understand everything about it but after everything he does not really care,at least not enough to let it go. he might not like to use his gadget often but no matter what the reason even Bob knows better. there are just some things that do not count as 'pranks' and this is one of them. so he goes to put his own non-gadget prank, he you make sure everything is right.

Arnolds dad makes a confetti exploding box. (Think of it like a 'generic present box' in shape) he is thinking well this will tell him to shut up in a way he understands, pranks.

Of course the dad thinks this is only going to be laughable compared to Bob's idea or even the majority of his family's 'lighthearted ones.' (which bob's definitely did not qualify as) but he does not usually dealing with vengeance and this is just enough to get the message across that he is not a free for all lending service for devices,since it seems sometimes the only thing his extended family listens to is pranks.

he is about to make it to Bob's house. at which point as he is dropping it off he runs into walter winchell (1), someone he does not bump into often but when he does he has to listen to some on the breeze metaphysical 'how the universe is what it is' junk. he begins talking saying hi and after greetings winchell continues,do you see the breeze how it flows,all around into the weight of our hand. (2) Arnold's dad preferring to be anywhere but there says ya I mean wind does definitely go all around us. winchell said and with the sparks of magic it just glides all around particularly when people do not deny or undo or unuse (3) or fly someone else's. but even with all of this the breeze still blowing in the trees around all of these. with the dad saying I would definitely prefer if the devices were not blowing around everywhere.

with winchell saying magic will still blowing on. it just needs to be used properly and protected, some hate it some love it, some want to do away with it,all know it is necessary of sorts. eventually Arnold's dad said I have to go return something have a nice day. still trying to be polite even though annoyed at which point the relative winchell says but returning and coming back is just so chilling. he just ignores him and drops the box off before leaving. but it pops over everywhere. Arnold's dad must have shaken it too much when being annoyed with walter 'airy stories.' (as he calls them). at least some of it got on the door but the father was gone before anything could be noticed.

(1) He is only thinking first name. I am just putting both for the sake of searching and introduction. he will usually be referred to by first name.

(2) I actually was not able to think of that much stuff. I had just quickly finish this before publication. I just had trouble doing that sort of dialogue for some reason in this episode. I said "more metaphysical stuff" on the draft that have to be filled in day of publishing.

(3) (I was thinking of the word for abuse or use wrong to me but it glided out of my mind, use around, make offence)

wow I actually have an ending but I combine three or four different versions so that's why that is in second person. I hope I did not make Arnold's dad too impulsive but I feel this is enough to put him to the edge. Like I said taking a gadget is just something not done. we will go into Bob next week and uncover some reasons for everything to be as it is.

The next few weeks should be a lot better but everything had to be set up along with stuff that probably should have been done a few episodes ago. these next few weeks will be wrapping everything up and I am likely to just take a hiatus for 3 to 4 weeks after w41 or w42. as you can imagine when I start up this chapter the prank was successful but I decided I wanted more characters across each other's paths and this sort of happened. also I realized all of the pranks have been pretty much successful so far so I wanted to put a twist. I probably would not feel so weird about it if it was not that I was giving Arnold's dad the short stick. anyhow I hope you like it it was nothing too big but hopefully everything continues right.
