Baby Doll has gained consciousness on the other side. She can see and hear what is going on. However, she can't reach out to Masayuki and the others to help her. Meanwhile, things on the outside are coming to a head. He is starting to see what is going on. Something is going to have to give with the crew or both the living world and the other side will collapse.

Time is running out. Masayuki might have to complete his mission on his own. It's a good thing the child-souls are guiding the path. However, he keeps slipping through time. Meanwhile, Baby Doll's soul fragment is escaping on her end. However, her captor won't let her go so easily. Meanwhile, everyone on the outside is there to help with the fight. But is it going to be enough?

Something has gone horribly wrong. Masayuki ends up fracturing off into the crew's memories and their futures. Meanwhile, Natalia tries to get him back. It doesn't help that the boy is also being chased by the one holding the fragment of Baby Doll's soul hostage. It all keeps getting tighter as time keeps running out.

Something is wrong with Baby Doll. Izumi, Natalia, and Masayuki find out that a piece of her still is trapped in the White Room. Because of this, Baby isn't all there and she keeps going off into space. Time for Masayuki to go back into the White Room to get the missing piece of Baby Doll's soul back. Meanwhile, more secrets keep building and slipping out. Something has to give.

Once Natalia tells Taro and his friends everything that the angels have figured out, it becomes a race to get Baby Doll back and to get back to reality. Only problem is that forces in the Hidden World have ideas as their own. More secrets come out that threaten to tear everyone apart. Meanwhile, Baby Doll tries to escape from the White Room but her captor has a new way to keep her.

Taro and his friends are seeing more and more visions. Ben tries to look after Max. One call from his past could uproot everyone and push them into the storm waiting to devour them.

Heaven, Earth, and Hell are back for a fifth volume. Now that the three worlds have met, they all try to figure out what to do next. Max continues to the rest of the Tokyo '87 crew. Baby Doll and Masayuki recruit Michiro into their quest to find Baby Doll's killers. Matt finally persuades Robin to come back home. Meanwhile, something isn't as dandy as it pretends to be.
