Chapter 5:
At Tommy's house, Didi was calling the DeVilles and the Finsters.
Everyone was watching the news. "We have someone who knows what's going on!"
"My name is Chris Redfield! These zombies came from Raccoon City! They were created by Albert Wesker! He has made other, more evolved zombies! Like this one, the Licker!" He shows an image.
"At least we know what this thing is now," says Stu.
"So, I have a pet zombie," asks Dil, "awesome!"
"Yeah, because that worked out in the Haunting Hour," says Phil.
"What happened in the Haunting Hour," asks Chuckie, "I was too scared to watch that show and the movie."
"In one episode, a kid takes in a zombie as his pet, but in the end, became the zombie's pet," says Phil.
"I'm pretty sure that's not gonna happen to me," says Dil. Dil then starts eating like a dog.
They all watch. "Wait, where are Spike and Spiffy," asks Stu.
Jeff reveals he was keeping them safe from the Licker. Everyone was relieved.
"We suggest everyone goes to the Underground Bunker until the zombies are dealt with," says the anchorman, "each house will be visited by a military escort!"
"Did you hear that," asks Didi, "as soon as an escort comes, we should be safe!"
"But what about Licky," asks Dil.
"Dil, I really don't think we should keep that thing," says Didi, "and we should worry about El Goblino, Jeff, and Bob!"
"Relax," says El Goblino, "Jeff and me can stay here and fight back against the zombies and Bob... well, he's dead, so they probably will just ignore him!"

Harold answers the door again. "Young Man, I'm here..."
"And here's your candy," says Harold.
"It's not Halloween. It's the end of Summer. I'm here to escort you and your family to an underground bunker until the zombie threat is dealt with!"
Pause.
"You mean... I was giving candy... to actual corpses," asks Harold, "that would explain why everyone's wearing the same costumes."

The Carmichaels are going with their escort.
...
Angelica and her parents are going with theirs, with Angelica still not noticing what's going on. She pretty much won't realize until the end of this story.

Tommy and the others get picked up by their escort...
