ZZZ x Kingdom Hearts

Prologue

Zenless Zone Zero and Kingdom Hearts do not belong to me but to their respective creators. This fic is only for entertainment and non-profit, just to entertain nothing more , and the story has its version in Spanish.

Without further ado we begin

You could see a quiet city, where people walked and lived their lives normally, but in a building two people with black hoods looked at the place and its inhabitants who were not normal at all.

You might wonder why? . . . the answer is easy, although there were humans walking the streets, there were also other species, some with animal features, other animals that looked like people, as well as beings of different skin tones and above all some robots around the place, something like that was different in the worlds that the two individuals saw during their long travels.

"I don't understand why we are in this world, besides calling me before the start of the war" said one of the hooded men looking at the other.

"That's easy to answer Luxu " the other individual commented without even looking at his companion, "or he can call you by your new name. . . Xigbar "

The hooded man now known as Xigbar revealed his face, he had a scar, as well as an eye patch and black hair.

"So what is the answer and why are we in this world in the first place?" Xigbar now asks very surprised by the meeting knowing well that soon the second Keyblade War was about to begin and he had to be present, after all Master Xehanort was not stupid, he would ask about his absence in the first place.

"Oh you'll see, for now follow me" said the other hooded man as he jumped across the roofs of some buildings.

Xigbar just looks and then follows him, after advancing for a long time, the two reach what seemed to be a very large sphere of energy, which surprised Xigbar a little.

"Ok that's new" said the member of the XIII organization looking at the energy sphere that was very large and then feeling the energy that came from that place "This was not done by the Heartless, I don't feel darkness, but something else"

"You are right my former student, even so, this is something fascinating and interesting, I wish I could study it, but we do not have the necessary time, for now let's go in after all it is a somewhat interesting place" the hooded man commented a little excited

"What do you mean, enter?" Xigbar now asks confused.

"Calm down Xigbar, trust your master, he's already entered before and nothing will happen to us, it seems that the protection of darkness like a keyblade will keep us safe" said the hooded man who proclaimed himself Master.

Xigbar commented sarcastically . He knew that sometimes his master's words were not reliable and he knew this from experience having gone on some missions with this same man.

Without wasting time, the Master and Xigbar head towards the giant sphere, luckily they were not noticed by the people who were guarding that place, after running our two hooded men enter without further ado.

Within the Dimension

The Master and Xigbar had entered and everything seemed normal, except for those strange crystals that seemed to give off a yellow aura, and the air felt strange, in addition to feeling that an energy was trying to enter their bodies, but nothing happened.

"Ok this is strange, but at the same time a little fascinating" Xigbar commented somewhat surprised by the place

"True, I also found some interesting things, like objects and what look like robot rabbits... although the ones I found were already destroyed, they are cute, maybe one day I will buy or steal one... whatever comes first" the Master commented without further ado and then moved on. "It is better to move on to show you more of this place."

Xigbar only listens to these words and advances with his master in the last hour they walked through the place, even so on the way they met the locals who were very strange beings, but they had the same energy of the place where they were.

Still, for our member of the XIII organization and his Master they were no match for them, the enemies fell like flies, after the fight Xigbar wanted answers and his master could only say that these beings were known as Ethereals, they were once people, but when exposed to an energy called Ether they transformed into those things.

It looked a bit like the method the Heartless used to increase their strength when they took a person's heart, but it was very different in truth.

"So these Ethereals... were people, weren't they?" Xigbar said , trying to fully understand everything that was happening.

"Yes, I feel sorry for these people and how they turn into these strange things, but I also find it a little fascinating," said the Master, still fascinated by these creatures.

"Ok" Xigbar commented , a little confused by his former master's enthusiasm for these ethereal beings , but he dismissed those thoughts. "It's better to keep moving forward, to reach our destination."

"But we are already at our destination Xigbar " The Master said calmly

Xigbar silent for a few seconds, but that silence would be interrupted when his Master made a sign for him to remain silent, then pointed to a certain place.

Xigbar looks in the direction his Master was pointing to see how a dark portal was created, to show how some Heartless began to leave the portal, Xigbar noticed that they were just shadows, but what he was about to see surprised him.

The Heartless as they walked through their new surroundings became defensive, the reason being that a group of Ethereals had arrived at the scene and were showing hostility towards the Heartless and after a few seconds the Heartless and Ethereals started fighting each other, where the shadows managed to finish off some Ethereals , but being fewer in number, the Ethereals were outnumbered, thus destroying the Heartless... for now.

After the battle the surviving Ethereals retreated from the place, while Xigbar and his Master watched this

"Ok this is strange, apparently these Ethereals don't like the Heartless at all" Xigbar commented.

"Obviously, this is their territory and they don't want invaders from elsewhere, plus one very interesting thing" The Master commented looking at his former student.

"What is interesting?" Xigbar asks , now confused by his former mentor's words.

"Well, you see, my friend, I've been coming to this world for the last month. When I started to feel that darkness was coming from a certain place, when I got here, I saw a group of Heartless wandering around this place, facing the Ethereals and all that," the Master commented, looking at Xigbar.

"It seems like something Heartless would normally do when they arrive in a world and all that," Xigbar said without paying attention to it, after all he knew very well the movement and attitude of the Heartless when it came to attacking other worlds.

"Well, the truth is that it would be normal and all that... but it wouldn't be normal for two reasons, my former student," the Master said seriously. "The first is that the Heartless never left this dimension in the first place. Apparently, something is stopping them from entering the real world where people are."

Said words to a slightly surprised Xigbar "Wait, how come they couldn't enter the world yet?" he asks now confused why the Heartless didn't start attacking people in the first place

"That would be the second reason, look Xigbar right now we are in a different reality where the concepts of light and darkness as a keyblade do not exist, that is the reason that the Heartless have not entered the world and only here, after everything that is happening here is not natural" The Master explained looking at his student.

"Another reality… that may explain a lot why the Heartless have not yet entered the world to collect hearts, they are trying to get used to the rules of their new territory" Xigbar commented and then looked at his master "I'm not wrong, right?"

"Honestly, you got everything right," the Master commented, showing a tone of happiness at seeing that his student had understood the first time. "But now that you know that we are in another reality and all that, my plan to face the darkness could be put in danger." His excited tone had changed to a serious one.

"How would that affect your plan?" a confused Xigbar now asked his master.

"Well you see, I knew this war was going to start and the key to everything working is that Sora in the first place, he must get to a certain place called Quadratum where things are different, and also that the Heartless would get to that place, as in others they would start to appear in this new reality, but now that they are appearing here it is a serious problem that if we do not fix it soon it can open another opening that the Heartless can take advantage of to invade this new reality and nobody wants that in the first place" He said in a Master manner looking at Xigbar.

The aforementioned meditated on his Master's words and he was right, if the Heartless managed to open another opening to this new reality, they could take over more worlds making Sora, a very promising young Keyblade wielder, be overwhelmed by the numbers and it didn't help that when he reached Quadratum he would be alone for a long time.

"So master, what do we do?" Xigbar asks , looking at his mentor.

"Well, let's change the plans a bit. Before Sora reaches Quadratum , he must arrive in this world and stop the threat of the Heartless and, if possible, save this world from these strange rifts in the first place." The Master said casually.

"Don't you think this could change the plans, if we decided that he would go to this world in the first place?" Xigbar said unsure of his master's plan, knowing well that he could fix the problem without further ado.

"I know what you think Xigbar , and no, I ca n't fix the problem of this world, if I were younger maybe I would, but right now I'm low on power, but knowing Sora well I know that he will manage to change things in favor of this world and its inhabitants" Said the Master in a calm manner "Besides, the time I'm here won't affect much the truth" Said the Master and then retreated into a dark portal leaving Xigbar with some doubts and then sighed.

"Whatever you say... Master of Masters" said Este and then entered the dark portal

The two had a mission, and Sora was now involved in this new world, that if they did not find a way to close these strange spheres of energy and stop the Heartless, the new reality would be invaded by the Heartless and nothing would stop them in their hunger for hearts.
