Chapter 7
Recovery
The sounds of beeping of the heart monitor was all Luz could hear as wakes up. She sees her Diosas by her side all of them asleep. She then remembers what had happened to her.
"Mierda I was shot." Luz said as she tries to sit up.
This movement wakes Amity up.
"Mein Titan, Luz, dir geht es gut." Amity said tearing up.
"I'm ok Amity. I'm ok." Luz said.
At that moment Willow and Boscha wake up due to the commotion.
"Luseu, anjeonhaeyo!" Willow said as she gently hugs Luz as to not aggravate her wounds.
"Oh mia piccola luce sei al sicuro." Boscha said as she kisses her forehead.
Luz smiles but then frowns.
"What happened after I was shot?" Luz asked.
The girls frowns.
"The Bastardo is brain dead." Boscha said.
Luz's eyes go wide.
"How?" Luz said.
Amity gives a sad look.
"It was the spell I used. To put it simply the spell takes all of your pain and effects the person the spell hits. Be it emotional, mental, spiritual and physical. Then it coverts it to the purest physical pain anyone can feel." Amity explained.
"Dios mío." Luz said covering her mouth.
Luz didn't want this. Sure Jacob Hopkins was a jerk but he didn't deserve this. Jail time yes, but not this.
"If I recall correctly. The Witches used that spell to torture soldiers for information." Boscha said.
"Jinjihage they used Witches who were going into labor and those going through post partum depression to the effected solders." Willow said.
Soon the sound of the door opening gave the four girls pause.
"You know this would explain why my son in law is taking my daughter's PPD much more seriously." A male voice said.
The four girls then saw the doctor and Camila entered the room.
The doctor was an old man with grey hair and beard. He wore a doctor's uniform.
"Hello Miss Noceda my name is Doctor Anderson and I'm here to help you heal." The now named Dr. Anderson said.
Then the doctors expression became serious.
"You're very lucky Miss Noceda were it just a few centimeters to the right…" Dr. Anderson said.
"DON'T! don't I don't want to know." Camila said.
The brides to be glared at the doctor.
Taking the hint the doctor changed subjects.
"Ah alright then now we need to remove the slime patch to extract the bullet." Dr. Anderson said.
Luz was a bit confused by that.
"I thought you guys had already got rid of it ?" Luz asked.
Amity answers that.
"It was because they didn't know how to safely remove both the bullet and the Abomination Goo." Amity said.
Luz nods as she knows that Amity is right. After all her dad, his husband and her future Witch Waifu are masters of Abomination Magic so they'll know what to do.
"So… are gonna ask a medical Witch to remove the bullet?" Luz asked.
Amity thought about it for a moment.
"Yes I do believe it might be for the best. I'll contact my fathers they'll be able to help." Amity said.
"I have some plants that can remove metals." Willow said.
"And I can turn those plants into a antidote." Boscha said.
Dr. Anderson whispered to Camila.
"Don't worry the potion Ms. Triplicae is talking about can be drank by humans." Dr. Anderson said as Camila nods.
"Hey Willow I know it may not be a good time but I owe you a date. As soon as I recover we are going to the botanical gardens." Luz said.
Willow shook her head but smiled.
"Just focus on recovering jag-eun bich." Willow said with a small smile.
A few days later
Luz was getting ready for her procedure after getting a healing Witch specialized in Abomination Magic.
She was a professional and has done this multiple times.
"Alright then I'm Dr. Lumínica and I'm here to remove the Abomination Patch." The now named Dr. Lumínica said.
She then takes a look and sees the Human doctor prepping tools.
"Well from what I can see they believe we need to cut you up, but there's no need I just to do this." Dr. Lumínica said as she made a spell circle.
The spell safely removed both the patch and the bullet. She then made another spell circle healing the gunshot wound.
"There we go, all done." Dr. Lumínica said.
Luz and the doctors were surprised at how quick the procedure went.
"Vaya que rápido. Now that's done what do I have to do now?" Luz asked.
"You need to take a shot glass worth of the anti-metal potion twice a day once before breakfast and once before you go to bed for the next three months. You are also not allowed to do stimulating activities like sports." Dr. Lumínica said.
"Oh ok. Sounds easy enough." Luz said.
"That also includes masturbating and sex." Dr. Lumínica said.
This caused the little light to blush brightly.
"Now Mrs. Noceda make sure she remains still or at the very least find something to distract her during that time." Dr. Lumínica said.
Camila nods.
"I think I can handle that." Camila said.
"We'll need to run some tests but after that you be on your way home." Dr. Anderson said.
Soon the tests were done Luz was allowed to go home. She and the went home with smiles on their faces. Nothing could ruin this day.
Meanwhile in another hospital room
Two people are in the room looking at the brain dead Hopkins.
"God I've heard about that spell but I never thought I'd see the results." A woman said.
"Well Marianne that's what happened when you're in love. Though from what I know about the spell Noceda must have some mental health issues." A man said.
"A dead dad, known bullying, the fact that her own mother tried to place her in a conformation camp and the pressure of that same mom being a war hero. What do you think Gabriel" The now named Marianne said.
"I think that Noceda is going to have a tough time in the coming weeks." The now named Gabriel said.
"Especially with Hopkins." Marianne said.
On the other side of Gravesfield
"I see… thank for letting me know." A man said.
The man puts his phone down. He then picks up a photo of Jacob. Looking at it fondly. But then he scowled as he tossed the photo to a wall shattering it.
"GOD FUCKING DAMNIT!" The man shouted.
The man breathed heavily as he calmed down.
"Damn it Jacob you had one job. Stay away from the Nocedas." The man said as he sat down.
His phone rang again and the man pick.
"Yes… I understand… I'll make sure the Hopkins's don't interfere… Their political careers are finished after I reveal what those assholes had planned." The man said over the phone.
The goes silent and He then serves himself a whiskey and drinks it.
"Alright then let's do this." The man said.
The door opens revealing a woman.
"Mr. Wittebane are you ready?" The woman said.
"I am and call me Marcus." The now named Marcus Wittebane said with a small smile.
"Yes M- I mean Marcus. Um sir what of Hunter?" the woman asked.
"Nothing. I know I'm different to my ancestor but I doubt he'd want to be with me." Marcus said.
"Of course Marcus. Oh right we just received some plants from the Dryad's." The woman said as Marcus smiles.
"Good, good. That will be all. Oh and take the rest of day off." Marcus said.
"Thank you sir." The woman said with a smile.
As she leaves Marcus heads for his garden where a Dryad worker was maintaining his new additions of his gardens.
Marcus smiles at his garden and at the Dryad tending the fields.
She was a beauty this one. Her short chestnut hair flowing and in the wind. Her blue eyes focused on the task. Her curves both large and bountiful.
He had to admit her husband was one lucky bastard. He wonders if she has a sister or a female cousin.
"Kkeutnass-eoyo, witebane ssi." The Dryad said.
"Joh-eun il-iya. Kamin." Marcus said.
Marcus looks upon his gardens and smiled.
Considering Luz would be bringing Willow here on a date.
After being the owner of the largest botanical garden in Connecticut has to be the best.
Noceda manor
Luz and her Diosas were on the couch watching TV. Hunter was in his room reading a book about wood carving and Vee was hanging out with Masha.
Luz sigh contently as she rested her head on Amity's shoulder.
"So Luz after your date with Willow can I have the next date?" Boscha asked.
Luz turn to her Daemonic bride to be.
"Sure where do want to go?" Luz asked.
"How about a Museum is there any here in Gravesfield?" Boscha asked.
Luz shakes her head.
"Not here but I know of a great museum in DC." Luz said.
"Are you talking about the Smithsonian? Because if you then you're amazing." Boscha said.
Luz smiled as Amity speaks.
"So saving the best for last. Not to worry though I'll get a date with Willow in the meantime." Amity said.
"Oh you. But yeah I would love to." Willow said with a smile and a blush.
"Willow we'll be able to go to the botanical gardens next week." Luz said as Willow beams.
"That's wonderful I can't wait." Willow said.
And neither could Luz. She has to make this Date unforgettable.
