Because Faith doesn't go evil in this story, many of the season 3 episodes won't happen the same way. This means that I don't see really how to keep this story as long as the other two. Not to mention, it isn't very well reviewed, so I don't think too many people are reading. There will probably be just one more chapter. If you are an avid reader and loving this series, I am sorry to disappoint you. However, I DID give you three complete stories. Could I write more? With me, you never know, but I have no plans right now.

"The Zeppo" and "Bad Girls" episodes are in this chapter. Due to the weapon Buffy has become, the council does not try to give her the Cruciamentum. Of course, Severus would never have allowed it.

Chapter 13: Changes

*****A Few Days Later*****

Buffy was struggling to put her near murder by the hand of her mother behind her, so Faith was patrolling with her. Cordelia and Draco were taking a break, and Narcissa was patrolling on the other side of town with Severus. The two parents were at a loss on how to help their kids. Draco was mainly just pissed off, and Narcissa knew that it would take him some time to calm down. However, he would be fine. It was Cordelia who was both hurt and angry. Even though she understood her mother had basically been bewitched, it still hurt.

On some level, Cordelia understood that her mom was a victim, too. However, it was still upsetting that her mother tried to burn her alive. The horror of it wouldn't leave her for a long time. Nor could she forget the things that were said to her by her mother. Did her mother really see her magic as evil? That thought really disturbed her.

For Buffy, she considered it like being under the influence of a drug or alcohol. She didn't think any drug or alcohol could make a person do something that was a hundred percent against their programming. For example, no amount of alcohol would cause her to cheat on Oz. She could see her mother having unconscious fears about the worst-case scenarios, but to know that on some level her mother blamed her for her father's gruesome murder was too much. Buffy knew if she wasn't a slayer or had never been called that her father would be alive. Knowing her mother might feel the same way was extremely upsetting.

She mentioned it to Faith as they patrolled.

"That's shit," Faith said. "Okay, so it might be true, but think of all the people you have saved since you have been called. How do you know that Kendra would have been able to save them all? How many lives is your father worth? Would you trade all those people for his life?"

Buffy stopped walking and looked at Faith as she considered her words. "I guess not," she admitted.

"It's like that movie Xander made us all watch, The Punisher. The guy's entire family was wiped out—even cousins—because of his job. Unlike us, he went off killing humans in revenge, so at least, your rage is focused on the monsters we fight. It could be worse," Faith said.

"I hate to think about it being worse, but you're right," Buffy said, smiling at her. "Thanks."

Things got hairy a week later, and they had to put aside their personal worries as Diane told them that the Sisterhood of Jhe was planning on opening the hellmouth.

"Sisterhood of Jhe? What the hell is that?" Faith asked, looking at her slayer and then at Buffy.

Buffy shrugged. "Never heard of it," she said.

"It's a cult of all female warrior demons," Diane explained.

"This means that you two will need to be here as Rupert says the hellmouth is under the school," Severus said.

"This very room actually," Buffy said with a smirk.

Faith snorted. "That's all kinds of messed up," she said.

"What do we need to do?" Draco asked.

Plans were made, and the twins were taxed with dealing with the rest of the town.

Tara and Amy went with them, wanting to see how the twins used their magic against the supernatural.

"What is that guy doing digging up a grave?" Amy asked, as she noticed it.

They went over to the digger, and George tapped him on the shoulder. "What are you doing?" he asked.

The man looked up, and Tara's eyes widened in surprise and fear.

"I'm digging up my team, so I can bring them back," he said.

George realized he was younger than he originally thought. He probably went to school with the slayers. "I don't think that sounds like a good idea," he said.

"Definitely not," Fred added.

"He-he's not alive," Tara said, squeezing Amy's hand.

"What do you mean?" Amy asked.

"His aura. It's all b-black," she spit out. "That means he's dead."

"Are you a vampire?" George said.

"We kill vampires," Fred added.

"No, I'm not a vampire," the guy said. "Can't an undead guy just be left alone?"

Amy's eyes widened as she thought about what he said. "He must be a zombie!" she exclaimed.

"He doesn't look like an Inferi," Fred observed, looking at his brother, who shrugged.

"Zombies?" Amy asked. "There's no such thing as zombies."

"So what if I am? Fuck off," he said, continuing his work.

The four of them moved to the side to discuss this.

"What do we do? Are zombies evil?" George asked. "Inferi are always under the control of a dark witch or wizard."

"He seems harmless to me, so I'm not thinking Inferi fits him," Fred replied.

"He-he's a zombie," Tara insisted.

"He is trying to bring his friends back," Amy pointed out. "That means more zombies. We can't allow that."

"No," Tara said.

"How do we kill a zombie? Inferis are very hard to kill," George asked.

"Beheading seems to always work on the hellmouth," Fred said. He pulled out his short sword and moved forward to swing it at his head.

When the zombie teen kept talking even with his head on the ground, they were all creeped out.

"That's wicked!" Fred totally.

"I wish I had a camera," George said. "No one will believe this!"

Amy took out her cell phone and snapped some pictures of it.

"Wh-what do we need to do?" Tara asked.

"Burn it?" Fred asked his twin.

"Burn it," George agreed, nodding.

Fred used a simple fire spell to burn the head while George burned the body.

"There," Fred said. "No more zombies."

"This town is so messed up," Amy said, shaking her head as they moved on.

"Exciting is the word I would use," George said, grinning.

"Never a dull moment," Fred agreed.

They were doing what they loved by selling their creations, but then they had the personal satisfaction of actively fighting evil.

Life was pretty perfect for the twins even though neither would forget the loss that brought them to the hellmouth.

"Ron would've liked that," George said to his brother.

"He definitely would've," Fred agreed.

It was good that they could now talk about their baby brother a bit as they fought in his name.

*****A Week Later*****

Faith was patrolling with Buffy, still talking about the battle with the Sisterhood.

"That was a rush. Knowing that we were literally saving the entire town, probably the world!" Faith enthused.

"It was intense," Buffy agreed. "Father says that he will be glad to return back to Hogwarts in the fall."

"I can't believe you are going to go so far away again," she said. "I'm glad Draco is going to finish his year of magical studies the way he currently is. Narcissa actually likes the hellmouth and being away from all the bull crap back in magic land."

"Draco said that?" Buffy asked. "Mom was wondering about them just the other day."

"Yep," Faith said. "I'm not going anywhere, and he wasn't interested in going back to Hogwarts even though some of the guys in his house have been thawing out."

"Willow and Xander are going to come in for Spring Break," Buffy told her.

"The twins said their baby sister was coming, too," Faith shared.

"Ginny is coming? That's great!" Buffy replied. "You'll like her."

"She's gotta be tough as the youngest with seven older brothers," Faith said.

"Ron's death was particularly hard on her as they were just one year a part," Buffy shared.

"It was hard on all of them," Faith said. "But, yeah, the twins and her were the closest in age. I always wished I had a little sister."

"Well, now you have a big sister," Buffy said, bumping her with her hip.

Faith felt a warm glow at her words. It was true. Buffy was the only one who knew exactly how she felt as a slayer, and she had gone out of her way to make her feel like an equal, not less.

A bit later, they came across vampires carrying odd swords. After they slayed them, Buffy grabbed a sword. "We should take this to your watcher. See if she can figure out why a vamp would have it," Buffy suggested.

The next day at school, Cordelia was happily sharing about getting her acceptance letters into schools.

"UCLA, Columbia, and NYU are my top choices," Cordelia said. She looked at Buffy. "What did you get into?"

"Well, we're not going to school in the fall since we plan on finishing out at Hogwarts," Buffy said. "But Mom made me apply to three. UCLA accepted me, and it's probably my top choice since it will be easiest for Oz."

"I can go anywhere," Oz said. "Don't factor me in. Where you go, I will follow."

"Aww, I love this reverse feminism," Amy remarked.

"We have some family in Chicago, so I applied to Northwestern. I was accepted," Buffy said. "And Cornell, which is in New York City."

"Two of those places will put you in snow and cold," Amy pointed out. "I'm going to USC in Los Angeles as I want to get off this hellhole."

"You would leave Tara?" Faith asked, surprised.

"She will transfer," Amy said. They weren't exactly a couple, but they both knew it was heading that way.

"Hogwarts is in Scotland, so we've had a year of cold," Cordelia said. "It wasn't terribly bad. You just have to layer up when you go outside."

"Well, I don't want to be so far from my dad since he's only been in my life two years," Buffy said. "I think I'll accept UCLA and defer a year, so I can finish a final year at Hogwarts."

They went to class as the bell rang, ending their conversation.

At lunch, they were in the library, and Diana told them about the sword the two slayers had found. "It belongs to a vampire cult called El Eliminati, who worships the ancient demon Balthazar," she said. "Rumor has it that he was killed or forced into deep hiding as no one has seen him in decades. We need to capture one of those vampires and find out what they are doing in Sunnydale."

"Cool," Faith said. "Capture instead of kill. That's new."

"Father probably has some potion that will make the vampire talk," Buffy said, looking at him.

"I do," Severus said.

"Great," Buffy said. "We'll do that instead of the more fun torture the vamp."

"You never let me have any fun!" Faith complained, grinning.

Buffy laughed. "We'll go hunting tonight," she assured her friend.

That night, they were able to capture one, and they poured Severus' potion down his throat.

"What the hell are you giving me? That wasn't even holy water," the vampire said.

"It's a truth serum," Buffy said. "Now tell us what your master has planned."

The vampire smirked, but then he found himself opening his mouth and doing exactly that.

When they tracked down the vamp's master, both girls were disgusted.

"Balthazar?" Buffy asked.

"I am, and you will die for your insolence," he announced.

The two slayers looked at each other before breaking into laughter.

"I don't think so," Buffy said, grinning. "I gotta say Balty, you've really let yourself go."

"I didn't know vampires could get so fat. How is it even possible?" Faith asked.

"I am not a vampire, you stupid human!" he screamed. "I am a demon! My blood is pure!"

"Excuse me. My bad," Faith said. "He's a demon."

"A fat demon," Buffy said, looking at the demon in the tub. "You can't even run away 'cause your so fat."

"It's almost unsporting," Faith said.

"Shut the hell up," Draco said impatiently. "Kill it already. It's disgusting." He pursed his lips in disgust."

"Fine," Buffy said. "Do you want to die by sword or fire?"

His vampires surrounded them, and the twins, who had been guarding the entrance, joined the fight.

It didn't take the five of them long to put down the demon's followers.

"That was almost fun," Buffy said, grinning.

Faith took out a her cell phone and snapped a picture. "Diane is never going to believe how fat this demon is without proof," she said.

"If I had my amulet, you would all be dead!" Balthazar screamed.

"What amulet?" Buffy asked, putting her sword back down as she was about to swing at his head.

"That bastard Wilkins stole it from me a century ago. He must die!" Balthazar informed them.

"Interesting," Buffy said. "But you still gotta die."

"Don't worry," Faith told him. "We'll kill him next."

Buffy swung her sword and took off Balthazar's head.

"Disgusting," Faith said.

Since they were underground, neither felt the need to clean up the body.

"I'm hungry," Faith said.

"Let's get pizza," Buffy suggested.

"Works," Faith agreed.

The twins smiled, shaking their heads.

"I don't think I have an appetite," Fred admitted to his brother as he looked back at morbidly obese demon body.

"Me either," George agreed.

"The teen zombie was definitely less disgusting," Fred said as they followed the slayers and Draco.

"And he didn't have a cult following," George pointed out.

The twins laughed as they trailed their friends.

*****Mayor's Office*****

Mayor Wilkins smiled in satisfaction as his minion reported the demise of his mortal enemy.

"I knew keeping those do-gooders around would come in handy," he said. "Of course, my evolution has already begun. No one can stop me now."

He began eating the spiders as his minion grimaced.

*****To Be Continued*****

Thanks for reading! I originally was going to make this a long final chapter, but it's taking me weeks to get it to this point. It's taking me too long to write this story, which is probably why the readership is down. I do apologize! I hope the changes I made to the two episodes amused you.
