Albus reached over the partition, his hand brushing against Scorpius' side as he handed over the bottle. The touch was electric, sending a jolt through Scorpius that had nothing to do with the cold. He took the shampoo, his hand lingering on Albus' for a beat longer than necessary before pulling away.
They showered in silence, the only sounds the water and their own quiet breaths. When they were both clean and dressed, Scorpius couldn't help but steal glances at Albus as they made their way to the kitchen. The way the fabric of his robes clung to his shoulders, the way his hair was still damp and curling at the edges, the way his eyes seemed to sparkle under the warm glow of the candles in the corridor...everything about Albus was setting Scorpius on edge.
They entered the kitchen, the warmth and smells of food hitting them like a wall. House elves scurried about, setting out plates and filling goblets. Scorpius couldn't help but feel like a wolf in a henhouse, his eyes locked on Albus as they approached the table.
"What's gotten into you?" Albus whispered as they sat down, his eyes darting around the room.
Scorpius leaned in, his voice low. "I can't get the image of you out of my head, Al. Your hand on my cock, your mouth around me..." He paused, swallowed hard. "It's all I can think about."
Albus' cheeks grew redder, and he looked down at his plate, pushing his food around with his fork. "I didn't know you liked that sort of thing."
"Liked it?" Scorpius leaned in further, his voice a hoarse whisper. "Albus, I want you. I've wanted you for so long."
Albus' eyes shot up to meet Scorpius', and in that moment, something changed. The air grew heavy with tension, and Scorpius could feel the weight of their shared secret pressing down on them. They ate in silence, the unspoken words hanging between them like an invisible barrier.
As they finished their meal, Scorpius reached across the table and took Albus' hand, giving it a gentle squeeze. "Tonight," he promised, his eyes dark with intent. "We'll talk more tonight."
Albus nodded, his gaze never leaving Scorpius'. "Okay," he murmured. "Tonight."
They stood, their hands still joined, and walked out of the kitchen, leaving behind the warmth and the whispers of the other students. The castle was quiet, the rain still pattering against the windows as they made their way back to the Slytherin common room. It was a small reprieve from the chaos of their world, a brief moment of peace before the storm that was surely coming.
