A/N: Hi! This is a new thing I'm starting because I had to write a sonnet in class and it could be about whatever I wanted it to be about. Anyway, I'm not sure how often I can post; I don't write poems often, but I felt like this could be a great opportunity to start or at least give anyone who wants it this poem. Please leave review to tell me what y'all think or if you guys have any ideas of what my next poem could be. I will also take poems anyone wants to write and have put here, and I will make sure to make it known who the author is, maybe we could have a lot in one place for anyone who loves poems and Maze Runner. "The Epic of Thomas"
Type: Spenserian Sonnet
There was a group of boys trapped in a Maze.
They did not know if they would ever leave.
One came and managed to win lots of praise.
He braved a task no one else could believe.
The Maze held creatures named the ones who Grieve.
And in the Maze the hero young did go,
Surviv'd a night. That had not been achieved.
He found a way out of the Maze. Although,
The dangers it held he could never know.
And many boys died on that fateful night.
This was their only chance for freedom so
They banned together and fought the last fight.
Then fourty boys left to try and escape
But only thirteen could evade their fate.
