With that out of the way, on with the story!
Jack Frost
"Well, that was a short short video there," Monger declared.
Insectosaurus rumbled in agreement. It certainly got his attention.
"It sure does sound thought provoking," Hiro said. "What is one willing to do for love?"
"Believe me, people are willing to do a lot of things for who and what they love," Ekko said. "Whether that be for their sibling, their parents, their child or their spouse." A vast majority of the Audience (Save for the villains like Drago, Grimmel, Syndrome.) agreed with the Runeterran's words.
"I'd be concerned if they wouldn't," Hiccup said. "I mean, if you don't fight for your love, what kind of love do you have?"
The teens looked at him in surprise and Hiccup seemed to register what he said before shaking his head. "Nope, I'm out." He gets up and walks across the theater.
"Uh, Hiccup," Gojira began to call after him.
"Just give me a couple of minutes," Hiccup replied before he walked out the door. The Audience all sat in silence in waiting for him.
Ekko pulled out his pocket watch and watched the time fly by. He notices Isha looking at his watch with fascination. He held it out to her and the mute girl rolled the watch in her hands before tugging on the chain and swinging it idly like a yo-yo. Ekko chuckled in amusement.
SUMMIT ENTERTAINMENT-A LIONSGATE COMPANY
THUNDER ROAD
The screen remains black as a man's voice is heard speaking, "It looks like the storm has passed, people of New York." The Audience begins to understand that the man is speaking about the weather. "A season-high seven inches of rain last night. High wings and flooding in some areas, even left others stranded." Then there is the sound of a helicopter flying in the darkness of the screen before the screen lights up and the Audience see the scenery of New York City.
"City crews are still working this morning. They're trying to restore power to several areas in the boroughs. The good news is," a black SUV drives into view. "Today should be sunny with highs in the low 60's. . ."
CRASH!
"Okay, starting off with a crash," Fred nodded his head.
Go Go sighed in annoyance next to him.
The SUV didn't stop driving and slammed into the side of a loading ramp of a building. Somber music plays lowly as the driver door opens up revealing a middle aged Jack Frost with a beard, dry blood staining his face with bruises and he holds his bleeding stomach as he crawls out of the car. He staggers out with a grunt before he walks over to the side of the loading ramp and leans against it before sliding down to the ground.
Jack looked at the screen in surprise. "It's me and I'm. . . older."
"Oh yeh, ye a winter spirit," Merida said in realization. "How old are ye?"
"About 300 years old," Jack replied.
"I don't mean to sound offensive," Rapunzel spoke up, "but your counterpart looks like he's been through a rough night."
Jack looks back at the screen. "Oh yeah, I have. Wow, seeing myself old and injured is weird."
"What happened?" Elsa asked in concern.
"Just give it a minute," the Host replied. "This whole viewing will explain."
Jack then reaches a blood covered hand to his jacket pocket and then pulls out his phone. He begins to watch an old video. The video was taken at a beach and a woman was standing in front of the camera, looking at the distance before she noticed the phone and who's holding it. The Audience sees that it's Elsa, Elsa Frost, Jack's wife. Elsa rolls her eyes fondly as she asks, "What are you doing, Jack?"
"Elsa?!" the blonde princess' family exclaimed in surprise.
Elsa herself blinked in surprise and glanced at Jack who glanced at her with wide blue eyes. They two look away while blushing faintly.
I mean, he does look attractive, Elsa thought. But I just met him in this theater and only shared one converstaion with him. Besides-
I'm just supposed to be her teacher, Jack thought to himself.
Jack's blood stained and bruised face was shown as he looks at the video sadly. "Looking at you," the Jack on the video replies in a playful tone.
"Come here," Elsa said as she pulled Jack into a kiss in the video.
The present Jack begins leaning to the side, his blue eyes drooping as he lowers his head. "Are you still filming?" Elsa's voice asked playfully. Video Jack's chuckles are heard as a response as the present Jack slumps to the ground and rests his head on the ground. And the screen goes black.
JACK FROST
"Well, that's one way to start," Dr. Cockroach commented.
BIZZ. BIZZ. BIZZ.
The screen lights up to show a digital alarm clock ringing at 6:00 am on a bed stand two more times before the hand of Jack Frost reaches over to dismiss it. The man sighs as he lays in bed by himself before getting out.
The Audience glimpses photos of Jack with Elsa with smiling faces as the man himself walks through his house to the kitchen but Elsa is nowhere to be seen. His sad frown contradicts the faces in the photos. In the kitchen, he reaches to pull out a pot of coffee and the Audience's view focused on a white coffee mug with a white snowflake on the side.
"Did they break up or something?" Jack asked. "I mean, it's not like I'm very interested, just curious."
"The answer will be revealed soon," Gojira replied, shaking his head. "But you're not going to like it."
"Next, Jack was shown looking at his reflection in the bathroom mirror. He glances to the right and sees feminine hair products and makeup untouched. He'll have to get rid of those but he just can't find himself the will to do so.
Then the screen changes to show a flashback of Jack kissing Elsa passionately. The scene then changed to show the two of them smiling at each other lovingly as they sat at a table at a dinner night out date. The scene then changes to the present where Jack still looks at his reflection sadly. Then back in the flashback, Elsa suddenly collapses to her knees while Jack holds her body, face portraying his concern and worry.
"Elsa!" Anna, King Agnarr and Queen Iduna cried out in concern.
"Anna, Mom, Dad!" Elsa called to them from her seat. "I'm okay, I'm fine!"
This just causes Anna to run over to her and hug her tightly. Elsa stiffened, half expected her powers to reveal themselves since she was a bit shaken at seeing what was happening to her counterpart before hugging Anna back tightly.
In the background, the Audience see that a couple were nearby and they see Jack and his wife and they jogged over in concern.
Then the scene changes to show Jack holding a silver chain necklace in hand before he is shown sitting next to his motionless wife in a hospital. He shares a glance with the doctor who leaves. He stands up to caress Elsa's head gently before placing his forehead against Elsa's. His shoulders begin to shake as he silently begins to cry, praying that she would wake up.
But the heart monitor shows no life and the flat line tone echoes.
"No. . . " Anna whimpered as she hugged Elsa tightly with tears streaming down her face. Elsa just hugged her tightly in response while more shaken by what she saw.
Both their parents began to shed some tears. Alternative universe or not, seeing their child die was hard for them to see.
Many looked at the family with sympathy. Jack himself just leaned back and let out a shuddering sigh. He was a spirit but he had seen people die like Elsa's counterpart had and it always unsettled him.
In the present, Jack holds the necklace in his hands and another flashback shows him sliding the necklace to Elsa during the date. "Just an anniversary," his voice says both playful and bashful before switching back to the present. The now widower Jack places the necklace down on the nightstand next to his alarm clock.
Jack then walks down the hall to his garage, climbs into his Mustang and drives out into the rain.
The scene changed to show a funeral being hosted at a cemetery. The Audience are shown the black covered coffin being lowered into the ground as Jack watched from the front of the crowd. Everyone begins to walk away with a couple giving him some pats on the shoulder but he barely acknowledges them and looks back down at the grave with a mourning expression.
The screen zooms out to show someone else standing a few feet away from Jack.
The Audience sees Jack walking to this person who is revealed to be a man with blueish gray hair, Edward Aster Bunnymund.
"It's been a while," E. Aster said in greeting to Jack with an Australian accent. "My condolences." He looks to Jack with sympathy. "How are you holding up?"
Both Bunnymund and Jack were surprised by what they were seeing. It seems that their counterparts were close friends.
"I keep asking why her?" Jack replied bluntly and sadly.
Stoick nodded in sympathy. He felt the same way when Valka was taken when Hiccup was just a year old infant.
King Viserys nodded as well, thinking about his first wife.
"There's no rhyme or reason to this life," E. Aster replied with a shake of his head. "It's days like today scattered among the rest."
"Are you sure?" Jack asked skeptically.
"Don't blame yourself," E. Aster replied.
Jack stares at him before asking, "What are you really doing here, Ed?"
"Just checking up on an old friend," E. Aster replied truthfully with a small smile. The smile quickly falls and he offers his hand to shake. "Goodbye, Jack." With that the two men parted ways.
The scene changes back to Jack's house that is filled with guests that talk among themselves while Jack stands alone staring out his window with a sad and mournful expression mixed with numbness, his fingers grazing over his wedding ring.
The Guardians didn't know what to think about this. They were used to seeing Jack smiling and cracking jokes so seeing him void of emotions. Alternative universe or not.
The older Audience members were sympathetic with Jack's counterpart, King Viserys, Bob, Vander, Stoick and a few others were the most sympathetic for Jack Frost on the screen.
Hours passes and he's now alone in his house and left to clean up after his guests. He is picking up a dirty plate and glass when his doorbell rings. Putting everything down, he walks to the door, wondering who it could be.
Opening his door, he and the Audience sees a woman with a clipboard and pen standing in front of him with a package at his feet.
"Jack Frost?" the woman asked.
"Yes?"
She offers him the clipboard and pen. "Sign here please." Though confused, Jack obliges and signs the paper on the clipboard and gives it back to her.
"And the pen," the woman said politely.
"Oh, right." Realizing that he still had the pen, Jack gives it back to her. The woman nods and bids him a good night. "Thanks," he replied as she leaves in a van that said 'Kelvin Delivery Service.'
He then looks down and sees that the package is a dog kennel. With no idea why someone sent him a dog of all things, Jack brings it inside and places it on top of his coffee table. While the Audience sees that the dog inside is a puppy, Jack notices that there is a letter on top of the kennel. He grabs it and opens it to show a card inside with a certain symbol on the front of the card.
A snowflake.
Elsa's symbol.
Quiet a handful of children, including Merida's brothers cooed at seeing the puppy inside the kennel, amusing some of the adults before they saw the card
With shaking hands, Jack slowly opens the letter and begins to read it, imagining what Elsa would sound like when making the letter and the Audience hear her voice.
"Jack, I'm sorry I can't be there for you, but you still need something, someone to love." Jack reaches a hand up to cover his mouth, struggling to keep his emotions under control. "So start with this, because the car doesn't count. I love you, Jack. This illness has loomed over us for a long time and now that I found my peace, find yours." The Audience get a glimpse of Elsa's hand writing on the letter. "Until that day, your best friend, Elsa."
Jack finally breaks and starts crying to himself while at the same time trying to keep his voice down.
He wasn't the only one, some members in the Audience shed some tears. Anna especially.
"Hey, it's okay. I'm here," Elsa whispered to her younger sister. "I'm not going anywhere."
"I didn't expect a letter like that would give you the feeling of. . . a stab in the heart like that," Astrid muttered.
"A letter from a loved one who passed can often bring an emotional response." Gojira explained. "It shows how much you've loved them. But you have to let them go eventually. And know they're in a better place."
The Audience sees that the puppy is laying down while looking at Jack patiently. The widower reaches the cage door while sniffling and pulls out the beagle puppy.
Jack holds the dog in his hands while smiling weakly before noticing the collar around its neck. He fumbles with the name tag and chuckles. "Olaf, of course."
Without a doubt, his wife chose the name. Elsa always did like that name.
Both Anna and Elsa looked at the screen in surprise before smiling as they recalled the times they made a snowman and gave it that same name.
That night, little Olaf is shown to the Audience laying down on Jack's bed and the man walks into his room with a folded blanket in hand, dressed in a white shirt and boxers. He sighs and puts the blanket down on the floor and picks up the puppy. "Alright, come on," he muttered as Olaf whined as he was placed on the makeshift bed.
"Oh come on, Jack," Tooth said. "He clearly wants to sleep next to you."
"Yeah, let him," Both Anna and Elsa said.
"Relax," Jack said playfully. "I'm sure he'll warm up to the little fur ball soon.
Jack then climbs into his bed and reaches to his nightstand lamp. He pauses and sees Olaf looking up at him from his bed. Jack sighs before shaking his head and then turning off the light.
In the morning, Olaf climbs into Jack's bed and starts barking cutely while licking the man's bearded face who groans in response. "I'm up, I'm up." he said before his alarm began to ring. Olaf jumps back to the floor as Jack reached over to his alarm clock.
Jack opens his front door to grab the newspaper mail and then Olaf runs past him outside. "Hey!" Jack called out after the puppy before faltering at something the Audience don't see. "Oh, right." he muttered and then the Audience see that Olaf had left a swirl of poop in the yard.
"Smart dog for his age," Vi commented.
"Some dogs are like that," Penny commented, petting Bolt on the head with a smile.
Smart dog, that Olaf, waiting to go outside instead of inside the house.
The two go back inside and Jack makes himself coffee before seeing Olaf looking up at him. Then Jack pours two bowls of cereal with milk and lowers one to the floor in front of the exciting Olaf.
Elsa opened her mouth to ask what Jack was doing before she got her answer.
"We'll buy you some kibble later," Jack said before sitting at his table next to Olaf and the two began to eat their breakfast.
Most of the children couldn't help but coo and aw at how the two were bonding.
"I'm not sure giving the pup cereal like that was a good idea," Sevika commented.
Jinx shrugged. "Eh. If it's healthy for humans, it's healthy for dogs as long as it doesn't have chocolate."
Later, Jack wears a brown leather jacket over his dark blue shirt and makes his way to his garage with Olaf running behind him. Jack opens his car door and Olaf quickly jumps inside and climbs onto the passenger seat. Jack looks at the puppy before looking back as he backs out of the garage.
The scene changes to show Jack pulling up to a gas station and begins to refuel while Olaf is poking his head out the passenger window and looking at the outside world.
"Aw, how cute," many children and most of the teens said in unison.
Suddenly loud rock rap music blasts through the air as another car drives onto the gas station. Two young men step out of the car, one dressed formally while the other is wearing a black hoodie. The two men speak in Russian and chuckling among themselves, not much care to Jack potentially listening to them as he's refueling his car.
The Audience get a better look at the young man in the hoodie as he stands outside the gas station smoking a cigarette. It's Hans Tarasov. He looks over to where Jack and his car are at. "Nice ride," he complimented Jack. "Mustang. Boss 429. She a '70?"
Both King Agnarr and Queen Iduna rose an eyebrow at seeing a member of the Southern Isles' royal family.
"He looks familiar," Rapunzel said, tilting her head slightly.
"I believe his from the Southern Isles," her mother said thoughtfully.
Eugene squinted his eyes before nodding. "Oh yeah, that one family that has 13 kids."
"'69," Jack replied after he finishes refueling his car.
This made some of the teenagers in the Audience, mainly Fred, Jack and those from Runeterra to chuckle or snicker in amusement.
"Beautiful car," Hans said and Jack nodded in response. "Thanks."
Hans then taps his hands on the car's hood before leaning forward. "How much?" he asked.
Jack looked up to him in confusion. "Excuse me?"
Hans takes out his cigarette and points to the car. "How much for the car?"
Jack stares before shaking his head and replying, "She's not for sale," as he gets into his car.
"I get that it's a nice car," Go Go said. "But he wouldn't be in the mood to sell it."
"Not to mention, Elsa's letter implied that he has some attachment to the car," Hiro commented.
As he closes the door, Hans leans into his passenger door window and reaches down to Olaf. "Oh, I love dogs." he said playfully, petting Olaf. Then his tone shifts as he speaks in Russian and subtitles appear at the bottom of the screen for the Audience to read. "Everything's got a price, bitch."
Jack stares at him before firmly rebutting in perfect Russian, "Not this bitch."
"Ha! You tell him!" Fred cheered.
Hans raised an eyebrow in surprise, clearly not expecting that. Then he narrows his eyes in anger. "What the fu-?" before he could finish, his friend pulls him back. More subtitles appear as Hans asked angrily in Russian, "Who the fuck does man think he is?"
The formal dressed man, Victor leans into Jack's view and says in a Russian accent, "You have good day, sir." He smiles slightly and pats the car door. Jack stares as he starts the car up and then drives off.
The screen then focuses on Victor and Hans who watch the car drive away before sharing a look. Hans blows smoke out of his mouth while Victor shakes his head as he looks away.
The scene changes to show Jack driving his car up to a metal fence gate belonging to a private airport airway. He looks to the security guard at the checkpoint who opens the gate for him. Then the Audience watches the car drive out of the opening doors of the airway hangar at full speed.
The Mustang zooms across the runway before Jack turns it around and drives down towards two parked airway trucks and drifts to the right, the back of his car less than a foot from hitting the trucks. Jack then drives back to the other side of the airway before turning around in a drift and races back to the trucks. This time he floors the accelerator and zooms to the trucks in front of him. Letting out a yell, Jack slams on the brakes and skids to a halt less than six inches from hitting the trucks.
"Was he just thinking of killing himself before stopping?" Elsa asked worriedly.
"I think it's just his way of getting the adrenaline pumped." Ginormica said with a shake of her head.
Jack sits back, panting heavily before looking to little Olaf, the puppy looking at him innocently with a whine in the passenger seat.
Later on, Jack gets in bed that night. He looks down at Olaf who is looking up at him silently. Sighing, Jack says to the puppy, "Alright, get up here." Tail wagging, Olaf jumps onto the bed and climbs onto Jack's chest. The widower holds the puppy close to his face and closes his eyes to sleep.
"See? I told you he'd warm up to the guy," Jack said with a smile.
Roughly three hours pass when the Audience sees Olaf climbing out of Jack's arms and running to the foot of the bed while barking before he jumps off the bed. Jack sits up with a groggy expression and bed hair. "You need to go?" he asked.
"And having young dogs would be like that," Penny said, nodding her head. "When they know not to go inside the house, they'll wake you up in the middle of the night to let them go outside." She gives Bolt a look of exasperation and her dog just shrugs in an innocent manner.
"Aye," agreed the Vikings who have or had hounds as pets in the past.
The Audience sees Olaf running down the stairs, barking once in a while, as Jack makes his way down the stairs to his living room. Then he sees two shadowy figures standing in the darkness of his living room. Before he could react, a metal baseball hits Jack in the back of his head and he falls down to the floor in pain.
The lights turn on revealing the three masked men standing over Jack who holds the back of his head in pain. One man tossed his bat over to his leader who swings it down on Jack's left arm. Jack cries out in pain, grabbing his arm. Then the thug kicks him in the face, causing blood to run down his chin from Jack's nose.
"Where are those fucking keys?" the thug asked in Russian, subtitles once again showing. Then a shattering sound is heard and the Audience seeing another thug smashing the glass wall decorations with his baseball bat.
"Amateures," Jinx declared, getting Isha to look at her. "If you're there for the car, don't leave evidence that you were there."
"Says the one who usually leaves an explosion in her wake," Ekko remarked, making Isha turned to him.
Jinx waved her hand dismissively. "That's different. I want people to know it was me. These punks shouldn't." she said.
"That sounds about right." Ekko nodded his head with a roll of his eyes but there was a fondness in his tone.
Olaf was shown looking at the scene from under a chair with a fearful expression. Jack moves around in pain as he hears Olaf barking and whining out of view. Apparently, this was annoying the leader too much who says in Russian, "Shut that fucking dog up!"
Jack watches with blurry vision as one of the three men chases after the fearful barking Olaf before grabbing the struggling puppy.
"No! Leave Olaf alone!" both Anna and Elsa shouted at the screen.
Everyone else frowned or voiced their own displeasure at the robber's actions.
Penny frowned angrily, it wasn't her dog, but she doesn't like seeing any dog get harmed, much less a puppy like Olaf.
Bolt himself growled angrily. "Let him go! He's just a pup!"
Olaf yelps in pain and the screen shows the puppy lying motionless and silent on the floor as his killer walks away.
"No!" Bolt howled.
"OLAF!" Anna and Elsa screamed. Many young Viking children began crying at the sight of the puppy on the floor, looking lifeless.
Everyone else just stared at the screen in shock.
"Holy shit," Vi summed up what everyone was thinking.
"Unbelievable," Hiro shook his head with wide eyes.
"Sicko," Caitlyn said in disgust.
Jack considered himself a guy who rarely gets angry or rageful, but there's a first time for everything. If he does see someone do what these robbers did to the puppy on screen in any time or place. Well, he was going to bury them in a blizzard, no matter what the Guardians say.
The Guardians themselves were very displeased with what they saw, along with most of the villains were frowning and angry at what they've seen, though most of the villains weren't like the good guys. Dogs were loyal creatures if raised the right way so seeing the young puppy get killed was not sitting right with their own code.
Isha crossed her arms with an angry look, if Jinx were to look at her at that moment, she'd say it was the angriest she had ever seen the mute girl.
And let it be known that Isha would highly likely be shouting foul words to the screen at the man who killed the cute puppy.
The dragons were also greatly angered. Sure there are times they eat young creatures, but they simply did it to survive and they knew that humans don't always kill animals for survival but seeing the young dog being killed for no reason other than to spite the man who recently lost his mate over the thing called a car was upsetting to them.
Let it be said, predators kill for survival but humans kill for greed and power these days.
"Just find the keys," said another one of the thugs, sitting on a stair step nonchalantly before the leader is heard laughing in triumph as he walks into the living room shaking the keys in his hand. "Found them."
The other two walk away but the leader grabs Jack's hair and lifts his head up. The man pulls down his mask, revealing his face to Jack and the Audience.
It's Hans Tarasov!
And people are both more shocked, enraged or just incredulous.
"Seriously?"
"You break into his house, break some furniture and whatnot, and kill his dog for his car?!"
"Because he said no in giving you his car?!"
"You got to be kidding me."
The young punk smiles cruelly at Jack and whispers in Russian, "Sleep tight, bitch."
And then he punches Jack in the face and the screen goes dark.
When the screen lights back up, the first thing they see is a small trail of blood on the wooden floor. Then they see Olaf's body laying on the floor in front of Jack who slowly regains consciousness and sees the puppy in front of him.
Many gasped in surprise and sadness at seeing that the puppy used the last of his strength to crawl over to his owner before dying.
The screen then flickers before showing Jack holding the puppy in the cradle of his arm as if he could will the puppy to wake up. Sadly, like his wife, the dog doesn't wake up. And much like before the dog arrived at his doorstep, Jack now bears a numb expression.
A shovel stabs into the dirt. Then the Audience sees Jack kneeling down in front of a small hole in the ground next to the tree outside his house. He places a shoe box gently into the hole. It doesn't take a genius to figure out what-who was in the box.
"Oh, that poor, poor man."
"Going to bury someone else."
"The dog was barely with him for two days though."
"But it was a gift from his wife."
Then Jack's alarm clock rings twice before Jack turns it off and then he places Olaf's collar next to Elsa's necklace. Next, still in his blood stained shirt, Jack begins to clean the blood off his floor.
"Uh, no offense to your counterpart," Hiccup spoke to Jack. "But I don't think anyone would have the mind to clean the blood off the floor first thing."
"Give it a second," Jack said in response. "I have a feeling I know what my counterpart is going to do."
While scrubbing the blood, Jack's mind thinks back to what has happened in this past week. And the screen shows a series of flashbacks. His wife dies on their anniversary, she gives him a final gift in Olaf, and then four punks break into his house, kill Olaf and then steal his car.
He could ignore the auto theft, but Olaf's death hits Jack more than the baseball bat to the head.
They didn't just kill a dog, they took away the last gift his deceased wife gave him.
They took away the last thing he had to remember Elsa by.
Olaf's final yelp echoes through his mind as the last flashback is Elsa collapsing in his arms during their date before the screen shows the cruel smile of Hans Tarasov.
Slowly, with the music matching his rising fury, Jack lifts his head up, his blue eyes now filled with cold fury.
Elsa wipes her eyes and smiles slightly. She can guess what Jack is going to do next and she finds herself agreeing with him.
Many warriors and dragons felt shivers going up their spine. They had seen many dangerous creatures (The Vikings thinking of the dragons) people, (Dragons thinking of the Vikings) and beings (Bob, Helen and Lucius thinking of their superhero glory days and fighting supervillains.) but the look in Jack's eyes on the screen told one thing about the widower. He's dangerous. Very dangerous.
A car engine roars as the Audience sees Jack's stolen car driving into the gates of a car shop and garage. The horn honks three times as the screen changes to the point of view of the security camera. The driver is revealed to be Hans who leans out the window and flips his middle finger off at the camera.
When he drives inside, Hans and his friends step out of the car, laughing to themselves. "I think I'll keep this motherfucker," Hans said in Russian before he looks over to the man in charge of the garage. "Yo, Kristoff! I need some new VIN numbers and clean papers." he called out.
The garage owner, Kristoff sighs to himself in annoyance at hearing Hans speak before he turns away from the car engine he was just working on. He gives a glance to Hans before he sees the car behind Hans. He walks over, blinking his eyes as if trying to see if he wasn't being tricked by the light. Based on how some of his mechanics are looking at the car from where they stood, they were seeing the same car as Kristoff was.
"Where did you get that car?" Kristoff asked Hans.
"Anyone else noticing that this guy looks a little scared of seeing the stolen car?" Link asked.
"He must know who the real owner is." Dr. Cockroach commented.
"But if punks know this mechanic who knows Jack, then who is Jack in this universe?" Ginormica asked.
An hour later, Jack steps off a public city bus in front of the garage gates. He would have taken his wife's car, but when he stepped into his garage, he found the car with broken side windows and a baseball bat in the middle of the shattered windshield, henceforth, he took the bus.
"The guy didn't even change his shirt," Wasabi pointed out, mildly disturbed to see Jack was still wearing his blood stained shirt.
"He probably doesn't care," Cass replied, a little disturbed herself.
"He's a man on a mission," Fred said in a dramatic tone.
Jack then walks to the garage and into the shop, ignoring the surprised looks the mechanics are giving him and the Audience sees that Kristoff is waiting for him with two glass shots and a bottle of bourbon.
"Yeah, there's definitely more than what we saw of this guy," Ruby commented upon noticing the looks the mechanics were giving him in the background.
Jack sits down in front of him. "Is it here?" he asked simply.
Kristoff pours bourbon in the two shots and grabs one for himself. "It was," he replied after bringing the glass to his lips.
"I asked where the Hell did you get it?" Kristoff asked firmly with hands on his hips.
Hans shrugs in response. "Who gives a shit?"
"Hans Tarasov nicked it."
In the present, Jack narrows his eyes at the name. "Viggo's son." he stated. Now that explains why the punk looked familiar to Jack.
Kristoff looks at him and nods his head once. "Yeah."
In the flashback, Kristoff shakes his head and waves Hans off. "Alright, get out. Get out of my shop right now." he said in a demanding tone as he walks away.
"Yeah," Chelsea nodded her head. "It looks like Jack might have some sort of reputation here."
"Did you just loose your shit, Kristoff?" Hans asked, gesturing from himself to Kristoff's retreating form. "Because, we own you."
Kristoff stopped for a moment before turning around and walking to stand in front of Hans with a titled head. "What was that? What did you say to me?"
"We. Own. You." Hans said smugly.
Kristoff just shakes his head. "You don't own me, punk." he declared bluntly. "I work with your father, alright?" Then he nods to the car.
"So he's that kind of person," Rhaenerya said in annoyance. "Someone who expects everything he wants due to his father's power and influence.
"The owner of the car, did you kill him or what?" Kristoff asked.
Slightly confused, Hans shakes his head. "No." Then he smiles a bit proudly. "But sure fucked up his dog though."
Okay, what is wrong with this kid? Who the fuck gets proud of killing a puppy?
Kristoff stares at Hans who chuckles. "Fucked up his dog? That's what you did?" At Hans' nod, Kristoff puts his hands on his hips with a bitter smile. "That's some crazy shit, man." He remarked before shaking his head. Then without warning, he punches Hans in the face and knocks him off his feet.
Bolt growls angrily at Hans, wishing to bite the man where it hurts the most and ripe it off. Many dragons were thinking along the same way along with burning his body slowly bit by bit.
"Was he seriously just laughing with pride for killing a dog?" Snotlout asked in disbelief.
"Yeah, apparently," Fishlegs said, also in disbelief.
"Thank you, Kristoff!" Anna said, liking how Kristoff punched Hans.
Hans' other friend pulls out a gun and holds it at Kristoff's head. "Oh, look at you," he said mockingly. "You gonna come into MY shop and pull a gun on me. That's great." Then he grabs the gun and presses the barrel against his head. "Come on. Now either you kill me right now, or you get the fuck out of my shop."
Victor grabs his friend's arm and silently tells him to lower his gun while Hans glares up at the mechanic from the floor.
"Viggo is not going to like this," Victor said to Kristoff.
"What do you know what Viggo likes or doesn't like?" Kristoff retorted. "I'll tell you something, he's going to understand." With that said, he walks away back to the car he was working on.
Viggo Grimborn rose an eyebrow upon hearing his name. Was he having a role in this universe?
Gojira lifted his large head to the Villains Balcony. "I know what you're thinking, Viggo, but the name mentioned on the screen is not you." he said to the Dragon Hunter. "It's another man named Viggo."
"I see," Viggo nodded his head once in understanding.
Hans is helped up by his friends and he shrugs them off and points at Kristoff. "You got a fucking pair on you, old man!" he shouted. "Guess we'll be taking our business someplace else."
Kristoff didn't say anything and just closed the hood of the car with a sigh.
"What are you going to do?" Kristoff asked in the present.
Jack finally touched his glass and drank his bourbon once. "I need a ride," he said simply.
The next thing the Audience sees is Jack driving out the garage in a Mustang similar to the one Hans had stolen.
A telephone rings on a desk in the mechanic shop and Kristoff briefly hesitates before answering. "Kristoff speaking." he said to the caller.
Then the Audience sees a man with graying hair in a suit, standing on the roof overlooking New York City. "I heard you struck my son," the man said sternly to the phone he held to his ear.
"Well, he deserved it sir." Baela said with a shrug.
"Your Honor, he was being guilty of being. . . a dick." Rheana said in a formal tone as if she was a lawyer in a courtroom.
"Yes sir, I did." Kristoff's voice replied.
"And may I ask why?" Viggo asked in a stern tone.
Kristoff was seen back in his shop. "Yeah, well, because he stole Jack Frost's car sir, and uh. . . killed his dog." he replied bluntly.
Viggo Tarasov turns around, revealing his face to the Audience. His eyes are widened in surprise and now looks nervous. Apparently, whatever excuse he was expecting from Kristoff for hitting his son, he was clearly not expecting that! Now he doesn't blame Kristoff for hitting his son, seeing as his son has just done something VERY stupid and he most likely doesn't even know it.
"Oh." Then he hangs up his call.
"Oh?"
"That's all he's going to say?"
"I guess there's more to Jack than we thought."
Back in his garage, Kristoff hangs up his phone with a heavy sigh. He picks up his drink and drinks.
Viggo walks down the steps of stairs to a floor where his second in command Avi walks up to him while their associate speaks to two people in an office behind him. "Viggo, they've agreed to your terms," Avi said to his boss, nodding his head to the people in his office. "It's not like you gave them much of a choice, right?"
"So they're a mob?" Sevika said. "That explains the punk's earlier cockiness and arrogance."
Viggo didn't reply, prompting Avi to whisper, "Congratulations." At Viggo's continued silence, Avi gets confused. "Sir?"
"He looks shook," Honey commented.
"Very shook," Lucius said in agreement to his wife.
Viggo composes himself and turned to his second in command. "Have you seen my son?"
That night, Hans now dressed in a formal jacket gets out of a black SUV, stopping to comb his hair while looking at his reflection in the window before entering a large building.
"How's your trip, kid?" Avi asked as Hans enters the private bar and lounge area owned by his father.
"We won't be hearing from them any time soon," Hans replied, referring to a gang that tried to rise in power on the Tarasov's territory in Atlantic City and Hans and his gang were sent to deal with them. "Or ever."
Viggo was pouring vodka in two glasses before walking over to Hans. The young man shuffles nervously at his father's silent approach before Viggo offers him a glass. When he takes it, he weakly clinks it against his son's. When he turns around, Hans smiles, raises his glass up before drinking the vodka down in one gulp. But what the Audience notice is that Viggo doesn't join him in the toast nor does he drink the vodka, instead he puts the glass on the counter.
Most of the Vikings and the others from their time period were a bit confused.
"Why is he sharing a toast with the lad?"
"It's not a toast, he's not drinking from his glass," Daenerys pointed out. "It's a Russian custom that signifies that one does not agree with the one who drinks the other glass."
Viggo turns around and looks at Hans' jacket. "That's a nice jacket," he said in a false impressed tone.
"Thanks." Hans said.
"Yeah," Viggo nods his head once before placing his hand on Hans' shoulder and glancing back at Avi. Then he punches Hans in the stomach, causing his son to fall to the floor and vomit the vodka he had just drank. Which is quite painful to vomit up just after drinking.
Many felt some grim satisfaction at seeing Hans getting punched a second time.
"Dang, what a waste of vodka," Lucius remarked sarcastically.
"Actually, it didn't look expensive," Bob pointed out.
Viggo grimaces in disgust before tossing a small towel to Hans. "Clean it up," he ordered in Russian.
While confused and in pain, Hans does as he's told and cleans up his vomit.
"Should I go?" Avi asked, finding the sudden change of demeanor in his boss uncomfortable. He doesn't want to be in the same room when Viggo is obviously pissed at his son.
"Nyet," Viggo replied and spoke in Russian while taking off his jacket.
"Viggo, English, please," Avi tried to ask politely before Viggo snapped at him, "STAY, GOD DAMN IT!"
Avi held his hands up in surrender while Hans asked from his spot on the floor, "W-What d-did I do?"
"You fucked up," Viggo replied in Russian while rolling up the sleeves of his red shirt.
"That's a bit of an understatement," Heather said.
"We did what you asked." Hans exclaimed, not knowing why his father was angry at him. "No one saw shit!"
Rolling his eyes, Viggo reaches down and pulls his son up by his arms. "I'm not talking about Atlantic City, no." Briefly, he wipes something out of his son's hair and wiped his palm on the counter.
"What then?" Hans asked. "You mean Kristoff's? So I stole a fucking car!"
"It wasn't just the car!" Penny said angrily. "You killed a dog!"
That proved to be the wrong thing to say for Viggo punched him in the gut again and down he went back to the floor.
"What the fuck, Viggo?" Avi exclaimed while backing away. "Christ, Viggo!"
"You stay!" Viggo exclaimed, pointing at Avi who hesitantly complies.
"I have to admit, I'm enjoying seeing him getting punched," Toby said.
"I shouldn't but I do too," Claire concurred.
Jim nodded.
Hans looks up at his father in pain and holding his stomach while Viggo pulls his jacket back on and then he reaches to his bar and pours himself a different drink. He takes a deep breath to compose himself. "It's not what you did, son, that angers me so," he said sternly. "It's who you did it to."
Hans furrows his brow in confusion. "Who? That fucking nobody?"
Viggo gives his son a stern glare. "That. 'Fucking. 'Nobody'. . . Is Jack Frost."
Many leaned forward, now more interested know more about Jack's counterpart.
"It sounds like Jack is someone to be feared and respected," Tooth said.
"Which is odd, because Jack here isn't someone to fear," North commented.
"Or someone to respect," Bunnymund snarked.
"Wow, thanks, Bunny." Jack said sarcastically.
(Play John Wick Original Soundtrack "The Story of Wick")
Unaware to the Tarasovs, Jack Frost opens the door leading to his basement, a sledgehammer in his left hand. Old western music beings playing in the background in a foreboding tone.
Viggo raises his drink to his lips to calm himself.
Jack begins walking his stairs, his echoing footsteps now muffled. "He was once an associate of ours," Viggo's voice spoke again.
The Russian mafia boss walks around his bar and stands in front of his son. "They call him Baba Yaga."
"Booba whatsa?" Snotlout and the Twins said, making Steve, Dash and Wilbur snort with Fred.
"No, he said Baba Yaga," Honey Lemon corrected. "There are three different translations depending on the context and based on the context here, I'd say it means-"
Wooden legs scratch against pavement as Jack pushes some furniture to the side of the basement.
Hans stands up straight. "The Boogeyman?" he asked, knowing that 'Baba Yaga' translates to three different meanings depending on the context.
"That," Honey Lemon pointed to the screen.
Pitch scoffed at that. As if someone like Jack Frost can be his equal or worthy of the-
"Well, Jack wasn't exactly the Boogeyman," Viggo replied before the mentioned man pulls and tosses a rug to the side of his basement and lightly CLINKS his sledgehammer in the middle of the concrete floor. Viggo was shown again. "He was the one you sent to kill the fucking Boogeyman."
Now Pitch stared at the screen with wide yellow eyes.
"So I guess he's got some serious skills," Mei commented.
"And it sounds like he's really feared and respected by all." Vander remarked.
Jack rears up his sledgehammer above his head and then slams it down on his basement floor, the metallic sound is muffled yet echoing at the same time.
Hans' eyes widen in surprise and realization dawns on his face. "Oh."
Viggo walks toward his son. "Jack is a man of focus." Then the screen switches back and forth between speaking to Hans while getting closer and Jack slamming his sledgehammer down.
SLAM!
"Commitment."
SLAM!
"Sheer will."
SLAM!
Viggo glared down at his son. "Something you know very little about." he said bluntly.
"Ha! Get roasted," Jinx cackled.
"Blue, quiet it," Ekko sighed. "This is serious."
Then he lowers his voice slightly. "I once saw him kill three men in a bar . . ."
"Is that it?" Dagur asked, not sounding impressed.
Most of the other villains and even some of the older Viking warriors nodded their heads. Most of the dragons nodded their heads in agreement.
"I can count how many people I know that can kill three men," Alvin said dismissively. "Quite easily too."
"More than three as well," Krogan added.
"Stoick, Daemon, my uncle Gobber, my uncle Spitelout," Hiccup counted on his hand next to the teens.
"My dad, a couple of warriors from Dunbroch," Merida added.
"Me, my sister, Sevika, Cupcake, Vander," Jinx listed off, getting Caitlyn to roll her eyes in annoyance. "Even Ekko and his bat buddy can when they need to."
"With a pencil." Viggo finished.
"Oh shit," Jinx declared and then. . .
Silence. Everyone was stunned into silence at what they had just heard for a few moments.
. . .
. . .
. . .
. . . And then it was broken.
"What." All the Protagonists said in unison.
"The." added the Antagonists.
"Actual." continued the side characters. (Sorry, Deadpool took control for a moment there.)
"Fuck?!" the dragons and Insectosaurus roared in surprise and shock.
And again, the screen flickers back and forth between Viggo and Jack Frost who was now screaming in rage and grief as he shatters the floor of his basement.
"With."
SLAM!
"A."
SLAM!
"FUCKING!"
SLAM! SLAM! SLAM! SLAM!
Elsa grimaced at the screen wanting to hug Jack's counterpart in comfort but all she could do is try to block out his cries.
"Pencil." Viggo walks over to the nervous Avi before turning to his son and motions stabbing Avi who flinches as if he was holding a pencil. Hans eyes widened as he watches his father's movements. The Russian mafia boss then walks around the counter again. "Suddenly, one day, he asks to leave." he said, serving himself another drink before looking at Hans. "It was over a woman, of course."
"So, he wanted to leave that life behind," Elsa muttered. "For my counterpart."
"Indeed," her mother said with a nod. "It goes to show how powerful love can be when it touches the heart of an assassin like this Jack Frost."
". . . But you know though, this explains more of Jack's earlier depression," Merida spoke up.
"Really?" her mother asked, turning to her with a raised eyebrow.
Merida nodded. "He had all the skills to protect her from any outside force, people mainly, yet his wife fell to illness." she said.
Elinor nodded in realization. Life can be like that, it seems.
Back with Jack, he SLAMS his sledgehammer down one last time before tossing the tool aside. He then kneels down and starts to dig through the rubble of what used to be his basement floor.
"So I made a deal with him," Viggo's voice went on before the screen changed back to his face. "I gave him an impossible task." he explained.
Jack continues to dig through the rubble. "A job no one could have pulled off," Viggo added with a haunted look in his eyes. And Jack Frost did, it went without saying. The screen changed to the man still digging before going back to Viggo who raised a drink to his lips. "The bodies he buried that day . . . laid the foundation of what we are now."
Insectosaurus rumbled slightly in fear. He was afraid to ask what the impossible task was.
"I think the task was to eliminate all of the Tarasov's rivals," Jim said to Claire who nodded in agreement.
Back in Jack's basement, the Audience sees that he was uncovering a large wooden box. A box he had clearly buried there to prove that he was leaving that life behind, never to return. But that was when he wanted to live in peace with his wife, like a soldier wanting to live without war.
"And then my son," Viggo goes on, now standing in front of Hans. "A few days after his wife died . . ." Jack begins brushing the dust and pebbles off the box. "You steal his car, and kill his fucking dog." He moves to turn away from his son.
"You know what's interesting about this viewing, compared to most other stories," Daenerys began, getting most of the teens' attention. "In other stories, no matter the genre, the antagonists are usually the ones to instill fear to other characters."
"Okay," Heather nodded her head in understanding.
"And we've seen what these criminals do through Hans," Daenerys continued. "They break into your homes when they believe they can take what you have with the choice to kill you or not and steal what they want. And the next scene we learn that they have connections and wealth to be respected by others like Kristoff through Viggo."
Hiccup catches on. "And yet here, the antagonist is explaining that the protagonist, Jack Frost, is to be the one feared by them all." he said in realization. "You're right, Daenerys. This is unique to other stories I've read."
"What I've also noticed is how Viggo practically said that Jack had built the foundation of their mafia," Hiro pointed out, "while we just saw Jack break up the foundation of his house for his stuff."
"It's symbolic as it's foreshadowing," Ekko said. "Jack is going to destroy the foundation of their mafia."
"Father, I can make this right!" Hans said confidently.
Viggo tilts his head. "Oh. How do you plan that?" he asked skeptically.
"Yeah, how?" Anna asked.
"Giving his car back?" Rapunzel asked.
"Buying a new puppy and apologizing?" Wow, Snotlout being sarcastic. Who saw that coming?
"Building a time machine and stopping your younger self from stealing his car and killing his dog in the first place?" Wilbur asked.
Hiccup slowly shook his head. "I don't think he's really comprehending his situation." he said.
As if to prove Hiccup right, Hans declared arrogantly, "By finishing what I started."
"I knew it, yet I'm still disappointed," Hiccup sighed, rubbing his head.
Everyone else facepalmed at Hans' arrogance. A few let out some groans.
"Huh?"
"Did he just seriously say-?"
"I'd be soiling my pants if I were in his shoes."
"I'd be begging for a quick death myself."
"Hel, I'd be running out of their city faster than a Deadly Nadder after it eats its favorite meal!"
"What?" Heimerdinger blinked his eyes.
"Is that lad for real?" Vander asked.
"Did getting punched three times do some brain damage?" Sevika asked.
"I'm starting to think so." Jayce said with a shake of his head.
"But. . . he was only punched in the face once," Viktor commented. "The rest were just blows to the stomach."
"Did he just say that with a straight face?" Caitlyn asked.
"After everything that was said?" Vi asked incredulously.
"Seriously?" Astrid asked.
"Did he not hear a word his father said?!" exclaimed Spitelout.
"How does he think that he can stand more than two seconds against a man that killed three others with a pencil?" Rhaenyra asked in disbelief.
"He must be thinking that he can be so lucky because of how he got the drop on the man in his own home earlier." Prince Aegon II said.
"The chances of that happening again are lower than zero," Prince Aemond scoffed.
"Men like him don't fear death until they look it in the eye," Princess Helena said in a foreboding tone. "And he will see The Stranger at work while looking him in the eye."
"Okay, this kid's crazier than me," Jinx said. Vi, Ekko, Caitlyn nodded in agreement.
Still glaring at the screen, Isha held one finger up and slid it across it throat while pointing at Hans on the screen.
"Idiot," Mildew said. "He's a simple idiot."
Wow, not even Mildew likes this kid and for once, he's on the right to do so!
"What the-?!" Viggo turns around to Avi and points to his son. "Did he not hear a fucking word I said?!" he asked angrily.
"Right?!" Many in the Audience exclaimed.
"It's like with my father," Hiccup said in frustration. "In one ear and out the other like a breeze."
"Father, please! I can do this!" Hans said in Russian, still filled with arrogance and overconfidence. But then he is surprised and horrified by something that happened. Something he least expected.
His father hugs him tightly.
"Hans, Hans. Listen," he said urgently and grabs the back of his son's head and whispers, "Jack will come for you."
Slowly, Jack opens up his buried box in sync to the background music rising in volume.
"And you will do nothing, because you can do nothing," Viggo said. "So get the fuck out of my sight." He lets go of his son who quickly runs out of the room.
"Well, if there were any doubts about what you said before, Daenerys," Baela said to her family's future descendant. "That just solidified it."
"Yeah, the powerful crime boss just told his son that his days are limited and hugged him goodbye." Camicazi added.
Back with Jack, the Audience has an aerial view of what's inside the box as Jack rises to his feet. On one side, the Audience sees two pairs of pistols with ammunition magazines, two knives, two pairs of black grenades. On the other side, there were three rows of gold coins.
Jinx deflated a bit. "I was expecting some guns with a bigger boom stick," she said.
"I wouldn't put it past him to have a bigger gun somewhere in there," Vi said. "That box is probably bigger than it looks."
Next, the Audience sees Viggo opening up a safe in his office and the shelves are filled with money and gold coins but the Russian mafia boss pulls out an old phone book. Viggo was shown holding the book open to a page in one hand while dialing the number on his cellphone.
"What's with the phone book?" Penny asked.
"It is a book used to hold the names and numbers of every one of his associates, including former ones." Gojira replied.
"He's calling Jack," King Viserys stated in realization. "Probably in an attempt to stop the situation from escalating."
"Or telling him where he can find Hans," Daemon remarked in a morbid tone.
"Daemon," Laena scolded. The Rogue Prince shrugged indifferently.
And back with Jack, a black telephone starts ringing on the desk in his basement. Unlike his phone, the telephone is only used for people who have his work number. He walks over to his desk, stepping around and over the shelf that held his weapons and coins and the Audience briefly glimpse at the box still in the ground and see that a large sniper rifle is held inside the box.
Jack picks up the telephone and holds it to his ear.
"Hello, Jack." Viggo greeted formally. He holds his phone to his ear. He waits for Jack to speak before continuing. "I heard about your wife. I'm sorry, my condolences."
"Sorry, pal, but flattery ain't going to work," Jack shook his head.
Jack remains silent, prompting Viggo to continue. "It seems to be fate, or happenstance or just bad fucking luck that caused our paths to cross once again. . . Jack?"
"Yeah, you could say that," Elsa said.
Behind him, Avi sits on one of the couches and nervously drinks his vodka. Viggo swallows when Jack doesn't speak. "Let us not resort to our baser instincts," he said as calmly as he can.
Jack holds the phone to his ear for a moment longer. "And handle this like civilized men," Jack turns around back to his desk. "To move on-" And then Jack hangs up.
"Well, that was the closest a mafia boss like him could come to beg for his son's life," Jinx shrugged.
"And it didn't work," Vi shook her head.
Viggo stops when he hears the call disconnect from the other side. Placing his phone on the table, he leans on the table as he comes to terms with his current situation.
"What did he say?" Avi asked.
". . . Enough," Viggo replied.
"Oh God." Avi muttered under his breath. That meant that their mafia was now the target of Jack Frost. If it was anyone else, they'd have nothing to worry about. But Jack Frost was a legend among hit men, the Baba Yaga, and he was the reason the Tarasovs were a powerful mafia in New York.
Viggo composes himself and turns to his second. "Task a crew." he ordered.
"H-How-How many?" Avi asked nervously.
"How many do you have?" Viggo asked in response, dead serious.
"Task a crew?" Thuggory repeated.
"He wants a ship crew?" Snotlout asked.
"No, he means to send a hit squad to Jack." Barbara Lake explained.
"Hit squad?" B.O.B. repeated with a tilted head, blinking his one eye innocently.
Strickler wanted to ask why the blue blob was not getting the picture that being painted before he saw something crucial about the blue blob known as B.O.B.
He had no brain despite being able to speak.
So he spoke as bluntly as possible. "Viggo means to send a team of people to assassinate Jack's counterpart."
B.O.B. stared, blinking owlishly before gasping loudly.
Gojira rumbled a chuckle to himself. He can forget how entertaining B.O.B can be. It can take his mind off stressful things.
The next thing the Audience sees is Jack taking a shower. His muscular and lean back is to the Audience and they see numerous tattoos on his back. One of them being a pair of praying hands with a glowing cross behind it. Above it was a Russian phrase across his shoulders. FORTIS FORTUNA ADIUVAT. Jack turns off the shower and pushes his wet snow white hair before turning around and the Audience sees a black cross on his left shoulder.
Elsa couldn't help but blush at seeing Jack's bare lean and muscular back and averted her eyes from the screen.
"Nice tattoo," Tuffnut said with a smirk.
"But what do the words mean on his back?" Fishlegs asked.
"It's a Russian saying." Gojira explained. "It means 'Fortune favors the bold.'"
Outside his house, twelve men in black masks and dark grey business suits approached with silenced pistols and flashlights. Back inside, the Audience sees Jack dressing up in a formal attire made of a white dress shirt, a black dress jacket with matching dress pants and shoes.
"Well, he seems to have dressed sharply, eh, Elsa?" Anna said teasingly.
"Shut up," Elsa muttered while thinking, She's not wrong. Jack did dress up nice and sharp.
"Hurry fall asleep or The Boogeyman will come for you." Viggo is shown sitting at near a fire while drinking vodka and singing in Russian.
Jack puts on a black leather belt and starts buttoning up his sleeves and his jacket and adjusting his collar while staring at his reflection in his bedroom window.
"From the swamp he will come," Viggo continues to sing, leaning forward a bit in his seat. "And TAKE the children that don't behave."
"Baba Yaga, (The Boogeyman.)" he sang grimly with a bitter smile, knowing that the men he had sent to Jack's house were either dead by now or they soon will be.
Many felt some shivers while Pitch Black smirked a little, feeling a little nostalgic upon hearing that lullaby.
"I don't get it," Ruby said. "If he knows sending those men won't accomplish anything, why is he doing it?"
"It's a display of power to anyone else if they're getting wind of this situation," Daemon said. "So no one could say that he didn't do anything to protect his son."
Jack reaches to his bed stand and picks up the pistol that he put there besides Olaf's collar and Elsa's necklace before reaching his lamp and turns it off, plunging his whole house into darkness.
The Audience then see the crew of hit men entering Jack's house, their flashlights on while the man himself waits for them to come closer in the shadows like a nocturnal predator. Three men walk up the stairs while Jack leans into what light shines in the room from outside, pistol at the ready. None of them notice the man in the shadows.
Like a spirit, Jack steps out of the shadows and fires a bullet into the first assassin's head with his pistol. Before the corpse drops to the floor, Jack already shoots the second assassin in the foot while blocking the man's swinging arm and then shooting the third assassin in the stomach before he can fire back. After shooting the second assassin in the chest and then in the head, Jack turns around and guns down the third man down without mercy. And then seeing a fourth assassin on the bottom floor, Jack shoots him in the head.
Jack just killed four men under ten seconds.
Many were floored at how quickly Jack killed four men though many of those who were warriors (Whether that be Vikings or retired superheroes like Bob, Helen and Lucius) felt respect to Jack's efficiency. Jack himself was astonished by what he was watching. He looks to Hiccup, "Was this how you felt when you saw your counterpart fighting criminals the way he did?" he asked.
Hiccup nods, raising his eyebrows in a 'Oh yeah' manner. He was trained by Daemon Targaryen but he never saw himself fighting like his Night Fury counterpart in the previous viewing.
"Hehe, This guy may be old," General W.R. Monger spoke up. "But he can still kick ass, it seems."
"He's sure not messing around," Stoick remarked, nodding his head in respect.
"Ha, it's like watching an action movie," Fred comments in excitement.
"Except this is taking place in an alternative universe, not a movie," Go Go pointed out. "So those men are really dying."
Looking to his right and listening for any footsteps, Jack runs to the stairs railing as the fifth assassin shoots where he once stood shattering the glass in the railing. Jack then jumps over the railing, lands on his feet before turning around and shoots the fifth assassin in the leg. The man cries out in pain as he slides on the floor before Jack puts a bullet in his head.
"You'd think they'd bring bigger guns to kill him," Mel remarked when realizing that these assassins had silencer pistols.
"I guess they want this done as quietly as possible," Ekko said in response.
"Too bad Old Jack here doesn't seem to care," Scar commented. "He doesn't have a silencer on his gun."
"He also doesn't have a flashlight," Heimerdinger pointed out. "Instead he's staying in the darkness and uses their own flashlights to see them."
"He's quick," Caitlyn commented when Jack's counterpart shot the fifth assassin in the leg and head under five seconds after jumping down to his first floor from the second floor. "Effective, every shot counted."
Jack turns around and sees the flashlight shining and goes in position. Then the sixth assassin comes out but he gets shot the moment Jack sees him. Frost slowly walks back and presses against the wall and quietly reloads his gun. He hears movement around the corner. Like a viper, Jack raised his arm up and smacked the gun out of the man's hands followed by smacking him in the head with his gun. The hit man tries to push Jack back but Qrow uses the momentum and redirects him, slamming him against the shelf before jabbing him with his knee to his gut before judo throwing him over his shoulder.
Grabbing and dragging the hit man by his arm down the two stair steps, Jack sees the light of the seventh assassin coming from the other hallway and quickly pulls out his gun and kills him with a head shot before the man could act. Turning back to the sixth assassin, Jack snaps the man's wrist making him groan in pain before Jack silences him with a head shot. Taking a breather, Jack looks around his living room for the other hit men in his house.
The Audience sees two of the five remaining assassins walking on two different sides of the shelf, front and back. Then the Audience sees that Jack is crouching down on the left side, watching their movements using their reflections on the living room window.
Once they were close enough, Jack steps out of cover and shoots the closest one in the chest, causing the man to stumble back, his bulletproof vest tanking the bullet. Jack quickly jumps and latches onto the eighth assassin, using his weight to drop the man to the floor while shooting assassin 9 who was on the other side of the book shelf. He pins assassin 8 to the floor while shooting 9 in the head and then shoots eight in the head as well.
"Nicely done," Eret declared.
Then he shoots at assassin 10 who dives behind a wall for cover and Jack dives behind the same wall. The Audience sees the two men standing on opposite sides before Jack suddenly crouches down to his knees as assassin 10 tries shooting him through the wall, unaware that he was missing by two feet. Jack aims his gun at the wall and shoots through it, hitting 10 in the chest twice and causing him to stumble back.
"Wow, we got to remember to do that in the future," Jinx said to Isha who nodded in agreement. "Granted, you wouldn't need to duck like Jack just did, but still. That move is something that could come in handy."
"You know, that little scene combined with how he killed the last two shows how experienced Jack is compared to the others," Ekko said. "He watched their reflections in the window before striking and ducked down when the assassin number ten shot where his head was two seconds ago through the wall."
As the assassin catches himself and tries to shoot Jack, the older man grabs his gun hand and forces it to aim away from him and smacks the hit man across the face with his pistol. Then he leans back to the floor, using the momentum and his strength to throw assassin 10 over him and through the glass window behind him. Standing up quickly, Jack reloads his gun and fires at the assassin.
Jack steps into the kitchen only to quickly lean back and dodge assassin 11 who begins to grapple with him, trying to shoot him. During the struggle, assassin 12 appears in the background but Jack quickly shoots the man in the chest, knocking him back but then 11 forces him to drop his gun and their grappling match resumes.
Jack disarms assassin 11 before lifting the man onto his shoulders and slamming him down on the kitchen table and then he punches the man in his stomach and throat. This causes the hit man to cough and struggle for breath.
Jack looks around for his gun and sees it on the ground and assassin 12 was reaching for it. Jack quickly kicks away from the man's reach before the two begin fighting hand to hand before Jack throws the man over his shoulder. Then Jack turns his attention on the man still on his table. He grabs assassin 11 by the neck and drags him to the point only his head dangles over the edge of the table.
Assassin 12 reaches to the counter and pulls a knife out from the holder before the Audience see Jack bringing his fist down on Assassin 11 and SNAPS the man's neck with a brutal blow to the head.
"Oof!"
"Damn, I felt that in me own neck," Gobber said, rubbing his neck with a wince.
Assassin 12 swings his knife at Jack who leans back to barely dodge the blade and then grabs 12's arm after the second swing. Then the two men grapple and drag each other into the hallway that leads to Jack's front door. Both men try to overpower each other before Jack kicks the twelfth assassin's feet out from under him while moving behind him. He tries to force the man to stab himself in the chest with the knife. But 12 struggles against him and manages to swing the knife at Jack's face.
Getting tired of the struggle, Jack moves around, forcing the assassin onto his back and using his weight to push the man's knife down into his chest. But even still, the assassin struggles to hold the knife back. Gritting his teeth, Jack brings up his right hand up while pining the man's knife hand down and then brings his right fist down like a hammer and manages to sink an inch of the knife into assassin 12. This however didn't kill the man. Jack brings his fist up and repeats the hammering blow two more times before he manages to kill the assassin with the third stab.
"To think this is not his prime," Penny said with wide eyes. Her words do catch a few off guard but they realize that she's right.
Jack Frost's counterpart here was not in his prime.
"Ha, if this was his prime, the squad would have been dead a whole five minutes sooner." Wilbur laughed.
"I'm more impressed that he did all of this in that formal suit," Wasabi declared. "Those kinds of suits are usually restricting and tight."
Jack pants heavily, his hair disheveled and his face sporting a few bruises.
"Even with all that, it looks like he could still go out to a fancy dinner or a business meeting," Dash quipped.
"Dash, really?" Violet asked her younger brother incredulously.
"What? It's true!" Dash said defensively. "He doesn't have a speck of blood on his fancy suit."
And then the doorbell rings. He glances up in the Audience's direction in confusion.
"Really? Who could be at his door now?"
"Maybe some more assassins are deciding to try and trick him to open the door."
"That sounds poorly thought out."
The Audience see red and blue lights shining behind the glass windows on the left and right of the door and the silhouette of a person with a hat is seen on the door as Jack walks to it with caution, his gun held behind his back.
"Uh-oh." Quiet a few members of the Audience declared when they saw the red and blue lights.
"It's the cops!" Fred shouted.
"Everyone, remain calm. We can just hide the bodies in the closet and the attic." Miriam said.
"What about the basement?" Mei asked.
"What? No, they checked it there last time." Chelsea shook her head.
"But the closet would be the first thing they'd check." Ruby pointed out.
"Hide the bodies in the tree! No one will look there." Karmi said.
Gojira shook his head in amusement.
He opens the door and then he and the Audience see a police officer, Caitlyn Kiramman.
"Oh no, it's tea-drinking-Momma's Girl-Wingardium Leviosa Officer Cupcake!" Jinx exclaimed.
Gojira choked on his laughter and bit down on his wing to stop himself from laughing out loud.
"What?" Caitlyn herself looked at Jinx in confusion.
"Don't deny it, I can smell tea in your breath," Jinx said, fanning her hand at Caitlyn. "I don't know how my sister stands working with you. I mean not even-"
"No, not that, what did you call me?" Caitlyn asked.
"Officer Cupcake?" Jinx shrugged. "Isn't that what Vi calls you?"
"No, before that," Caitlyn clarified.
Jinx shrugged. "Wingardium Leviosa?"
Now all the residents from Runeterra look at her in confusion. "What does that even mean?" Caitlyn asked.
"I really don't know. It just came to my mind." Jinx shook her head.
Ekko just shook his head. "Let's just continue with this." he said, pointing to the screen.
"Evening, Jack," Caitlyn greeted the man.
"Evening, Caitlyn," Jack replied. "Noise complaint?" he asked in a knowing tone.
Caitlyn slowly nods her head. "Noise complaint," she answered before looking past Jack. Jack turns around to look at what she's looking at.
The dead hit man that was still on the floor in the middle of his hallway.
"Dude, why didn't you hide the body before opening the door?" Mei asked.
"Getting arrested is going to be a problem for your journey of revenge," Chelsea said.
He slowly turns to Caitlyn who takes off her hat and rubs her forehead. "You, uh, working again?" she asked nervously.
"Huh?" Many exclaimed in confusion to what they just heard.
"Wait a minute." Ekko said.
"What?" Jayce asked.
"She knows about him being an assassin?" Mel asked in confusion.
"I have so many questions!" Many of the less composed members of the Audience (Mainly teenagers) proclaimed.
"No, I'm just sorting some stuff out," Jack replied with a shake of his head.
Caitlyn seemed relieved to hear that. "Oh. . . In that case," she tips her hat, "I'll leave you be. 'Night, Jack."
Caitlyn stared in shock at herself. "She's really going to be walking away like that?"
"It appears Jack's skills and reputation isn't just known to the mafia." Mel said. "The law enforcement seems to know about him as well."
"Night, Caitlyn." Jack replies as he turns back to his house while Caitlyn returns to her police car.
"So, what is she on pay with the mafia?" Jayce asked.
"Not exactly," Gojira replied. "She is just aware that assassins like Jack exist in New York. As long as civilians aren't harmed, the police leave them alone."
Jack then returns to his basement and picks up his telephone, dialing a number. "This is Frost." he said to the phone.
(Indistinct response.)
"Yes, Jack Frost, that's right."
(Indistinct response.)
"I'd like to make a reservation for twelve," Jack said, reaching for the gold coins on his desk and counts them quickly before standing up and walking to the stairs.
The front door opens revealing North with a shorter beard and cleaning crew of muscular men. North pulls off his hat and smiles. "Good to see you, Jack." he said.
"Hey, North." Jack replied as the older man enters and then gestures for his crew to enter. The crew enters carrying cleaning tools and supplies.
"Ah, it seems I have a role in this universe as well." North said with a laugh. He tilts his head. "And I'm part of a cleaning crew?"
"It looks like it," Tooth shrugged.
Sandy signed with a question mark, asking why is that.
The screen answered the Sandman.
"You look good," North complimented. He moves to put his hat back on. "And here I feared you'd left this all behind."
The crew then begins to clean up everything. The bloodstains on the floor and windows, sweep up the bullets, and then wrap the bodies in plastic wrap and put them in large bags before tossing all twelve of them to the back of their van.
"Wow. That was very efficient and thorough." Scar commented when the crew was done cleaning up all the bodies, blood and bullets.
"The fact there's a service for this is baffling," Helen stated. "And the fact these people have their own currency."
"These men also seemed to be happy Jack is doing this again," Elsa said.
Jack shrugged. "I mean, they are getting paid for every person killed," he said. "I imagine my counterpart's body count gives them a lot of money."
When the last body was placed in the van, North turns to Jack, the two men standing at the door. "Will I be hearing from you anytime soon?" North asked.
Jack just gives him the gold coins. "Goodbye, North." was all he said.
North nods in response. "Jack." With that, he walks away while one of the cleaning crew members closes the back of the van.
"Of course he did," was Viggo's response to Avi's report that his hit squad was all killed by Jack Frost. The man was a legendary assassin for a reason, retired or not, and it went without saying that he was going to be ready for the assassins.
"Well he's sure not surprised."
"I guess he really did know the outcome already."
Avi stands in front of his boss who after a moment, speaks. "Put a contract on Jack Frost."
"How much?" Avi asked.
Viggo thinks it over. "Two million." then he mutters in Russian, "Lure the WOLF with the hen."
"Viggo, English, please." Avi requested sheepishly.
Viggo looks up at him before remembering that Avi is American. "Put Hans in The Red Circle and wait."
"For what?" Avi asked.
"For Jack Frost, of course." Viggo replied as if it was obvious.
Jinx whistled. "That's a lot of money."
"I don't think there's going to be a lot of people wanting to take it once they hear what the retired Baba Yaga did to 12 hit men," Ekko shook his head.
"Maybe," Jinx shrugged. "But the word 'retired' would make them confident for a chance."
The scene changed to show Jack walking into his garage with his suit and putting a black bag in the trunk of the car he was borrowing before it closed.
Then the Audience sees Edward Aster Bunnymund cutting up vegetables and putting them into a blender to make vegetable juice. And then his doorbell rings.
E. Aster himself perked up at seeing what his counterpart was making. The other Guardians chuckled to themselves as Bunnymund as a glass of vegetable juice appear next to him.
The scene changed to show E. Aster pushes his window curtains open and the Audience sees Viggo sitting at his dinning table. He walks over and offers the Russian man a cup of the vegetable juice.
"Thank you," Viggo said, but he pauses upon smelling the juice and puts it down.
"To what do I owe this visit?" Bunnymund asked.
"I have a job for you," Viggo replied.
"And I have a phone," E. Aster pointed out in half annoyance.
"I want to offer this face to face, seeing as you might find it personal," Viggo explained vaguely as he smokes a cigarette. At E. Aster's curious look, the Russian mafia boss asked bluntly, "Would you kill Jack Frost for $2 million? After all, you were close."
.
.
.
"WHAT?!" Everyone exclaimed.
"Well, I guess that does confirm that he is an assassin," Vi said after a moment. "He just didn't retire like Jack."
E. Aster takes a drink before he looked down before looking up with a raised eyebrow. "Is the contract exclusive?" he asked.
Viggo shakes his head. "No, it's open." he replied. "It's a timely matter that has to be handled quickly."
". . . Consider it done," E. Aster said after a moment with a heavy sigh.
"He's seriously taking it?" Elsa asked. "But I thought they were close friends. . .
"I guess not," Eugene shrugged. "I mean, the two of them are assassins in this world."
Hiccup thought of something though. "He did ask if the contract was exclusive." he muttered.
Viggo nods, looking a bit relieved. "Thank you, Edward." he said. "I know I can trust you." He stood up as he left. "Thanks for the drink," he added, even though he didn't touch his glass.
Meanwhile, Jack drives his car on the Washington Bridge into New York.
(Play "Killing Strangers" by Nirvanna in John Wick's Soundtrack.)
E. Aster watches Viggo walk to his car, escorted by two of his guards from his window before he walks over to the cupboard under the stairs of his house. He opens it, revealing it to the Audience to be a hidden weapons storage room. Grabbing a towel, Aster then places it on the top of the closed grand piano in his room.
The screen then changes from Jack driving his car through New York City and E. Aster assembles his sniper rifle and working on accessory modifications before Jack arrives at his destination, a tall hotel building, parks in front of the building and gets out.
As Jack grabs his back from the trunk and walks up the front steps to the entrance, the screen zooms out to show E. Aster standing across the street, his back to Jack before turns his head slightly after ordering a coffee.
"What does going to a hotel have to do with looking for that Hans punk?" Go Go asked, raising an eyebrow.
Hiro rubbed his chin. "I think it's more than just a hotel." he theorized.
Penny held her index finger up. "Like that autoshop that Hans and Jack went to earlier."
"Or that cleaning crew that Jack called," Karmi added.
Hiro nodded his head. "Exactly."
The Audience watch as Jack walks through the front door, walking past the guests that were sitting in the chairs to the front desk receptionist that was waiting with a woman with black hair and a fur coat in standby. Jack watches as the receptionist gives the key card to the woman in the front.
"Room 918," Heathcliff stated in a formal tone. "Do enjoy your stay."
"Whoo-Hoo! Heathcliff! My man!" Fred cheered upon seeing his butler on the screen.
Those who weren't from San Fransokyo looked at him in confusion to his cheering.
"It's his butler in our timeline," Honey Lemon explained simply.
Many nodded in understanding, though Snotlout asked, "He has a butler?"
Astrid smacks him in the back of his head.
"Thanks." the woman said briefly glancing at Jack with a raised eyebrow before taking the key card and then turning around, pausing to speak to Jack. "Good seeing you again, Jack."
"Cassandra," Jack muttered in greeting before walking up to the desk. "Heathcliff," he nodded.
"I guess she's an old flame or something, based on the look she gave Jack," North commented with a shrug.
"And it looks like Jack knows this Heathcliff as well," Daemon remarked.
Heathcliff nodded, glancing at his computer. "I have you for two nights, yes?"
"Yeah," Jack replied before adding. "Depending on business, it may be longer."
"Of course, sir." Heathcliff nodded his head.
"When did the place get a face lift?" Jack asked, referring to the hotel.
"Around four years ago," Heathcliff answered. "But she hasn't changed that much."
"Same owner?" Jack asked. The receptionist nodded. "Same owner." Then he slides a key card. "Room 818."
"Yeah, I think you're right, Hiro," Wilbur stated. "This hotel is more than it seems if an assassin like Jack Frost is coming in like a common customer and asking about the owner."
Nodding, Jack slides a gold coin on the desk and takes the key card.
"And as always, it is a pleasure having you with us again, Mr. Frost." Heathcliff called. Jack stopped and turned to glance back at the receptionist before turning forward and kept on walking.
"Well, that just confirms it," Ginormica remarked.
The scene changed to show Jack sitting in his room, his back to the Audience and then the Audience heard the voice of Elsa. "What are you doing, Jack?" she asked with a giggle. The Audience sees that Jack was holding his phone in his hands.
"Looking at you," Jack's voice replied in the video that played on Jack's phone. Elsa giggled even more. "Come here."
A few looked at the screen sadly. Though both Elsa and Jack started blushing again.
Just then, the video stopped and Jack turned off his phone. He glances up with slightly narrowed eyes.
Jack then leaves his room and goes to the elevator and takes it down. After that, he walks down some stairs, past the laundry and mechanical rooms before he stops in front of a particular door. He inserts a gold coin into the coin slot. The slide window opens and a man on the other side looks at Jack before opening the heavy duty door.
Jack walks past the man and the Audience see that the room is a cuisine bar with music playing, people enjoying their drinks as the band plays. As Jack walks around, the Audience glances at Cassandra holding a drink and cigarette in hand and briefly glancing at him.
"Fancy place," Vi commented upon seeing the bar.
"Almost reminds me of The Last Drop," Vander remarked.
Then the Audience briefly glanced at the band and the female singer dressed in red as she sings on the stage before the Audience see Jack walk to a corner table. There sat an older man with dark graying blond hair and mustache with dark clothes, wearing glasses while holding a pen, looking at the notebook with a glass beside him.
Jack stopped in front of the man before speaking. "Hello Agnarr."
"Father," Anna and Elsa said in surprise and awe at seeing their father on the screen.
"Well this is surprising, huh?" Queen Iduna remarked to her husband.
King Agnarr nodded in agreement. He looks to the Host. "What is my role exactly?" he asked.
"You're the manager of The Continental that Jack was asking about earlier." Gojira replied. "You manage The Continental and make sure everyone inside obey the rules established within its premises."
"What's The Continental?" Fishlegs asked.
Ah right, it's not openingly explained until after this scene, Gojira thought to himself. "It's the hotel they're standing in." he said to the Ingerman bluntly.
Agnarr glanced up, his eyes widen in surprise. "Jackson," he replied in a greeting tone. He watches Jack sit down across from him. Agnarr furrows his brows, pondering something. "Now, as I recall, weren't you the one tasked to dole out the beatings, not receive them?"
"Rusty, I guess," was Jack's reply.
Most people snorted in amusement to that.
Jack more focused on the part that Agnarr had called him Jackson.
Agnarr gives a small smile. "So, what do we owe this pleasure?" he asked.
"Hans Tarasov," Jack replied sternly.
"What about him?" Agnarr asked.
"I'd like to talk with him," Jack replied in a vague tone.
"Yeah, just a talk," Jinx said with a smirk. "We need to settle our differences."
Isha mimed driving a car next to Jinx. Ekko glanced at her before nodding. "And he needs to give my car back." he said.
"And pay for breaking my furniture," Vi added with a smile. "He owes me about three hundred-sixty eight dollars."
"A talk, you say?" Agnarr replied skeptically. "Jack, I'm familiar with this sort of parlance. I want to ask you this, have you returned to the fold?"
". . . Just visiting," Jack replied.
Agnarr hums in response before leaning forward and asking firmly. "Let me ask you this. Have you thought this through? I mean, chewed down to the bone?" The screen focuses on Jack's face as Agnarr continues speaking. "You got out once. You dip so much as a pinky back into this pond, you may as well find something that reaches out to drag you back into its depths."
Most of the Vikings didn't understand Agnarr's warning. To be far, Vikings rarely speak so cryptically like so, other than Gothi and Viggo.
"Eh?"
"What'd he say?"
"Haven't a clue."
"Why must people speak in riddles in the future?"
"He means to say that Jack might get dragged into this society of assassins." Hiccup said to the Vikings.
Many nodded in understanding.
Except the Twins. "Why didn't he just say that?" Tuffnut asked.
"Oh gods," Hiccup sighed, facepalming.
Uncertainty flashes in Jack's eyes before he ignores it. "Where do I find him?" he asked.
Agnarr looks at him, looking a bit disappointed.
Then the scene changed to show Viggo in the backseat of his car while Avi is heard saying, "Hey, Frost is at The Continental."
Viggo glanced at him before turning to the window on his left. "Welcome home, Jack." he muttered as if the man was next to him.
"And we got a contact there who's willing to take him out for us," Avi went on.
"How brazen," Viggo muttered with a scoff. He looks ahead to Avi. "If they're willing to break the rules of The Continental, double the bounty."
"What are the rules of The Continental?" Astrid asked.
The scene changed back to The Continental's bar with Jack and Agnarr. "Sorry, Jackson, but you know the rules." the latter replied. "No business can be conducted on these premises, lest incurring heavy penalties."
"Okay, that answers that," Astrid shrugged.
"Does it?" Snotlout asked skeptically. "All he said that they can't do business, whatever that means."
"Snotlout, these people are assassins," Astrid retorted. "Their business is killing people. Even you have to understand what he meant by saying business."
Snotlout held a thinking expression. "Uh. . ."
Astrid facepalmed. Now she understands what Hiccup had said the night after their first Dragon Training class regarding Tuffnut willingly reading with Snotlout as his cousin.
Meanwhile the other teens were thinking over what was said in the previous scene.
"Someone's willing to break the rules of this Continental," Hiro said.
"I wonder if someone we've seen in this viewing or it will be someone new." Karmi said thoughtfully.
Jack's expression slightly shifted upon hearing that. "For now, relax, have a drink." Agnarr went on, going for his own drink.
Jack stares at the older man before moving to stand up. "It's personal," he said gruffly before he left.
"Very personal," Penny, a dog owner herself, said with a growl.
Jack then makes his way to the bar where he's greeted by the bar tender. "Holy shit! Jackson!" the woman exclaimed upon seeing him.
"Hey, Abby," Jack replied.
"My God," Abby said in surprise before pulling him close to kiss him on the cheek. "How long has it been? Four years?"
"Five and change," Jack replied stiffly.
Abby nods before giving him a wide smile. "So, how was life on the other side?"
"It was good," Jack replied with a nod of his head. "More than I deserved."
Abby then forms a sympathetic expression. "Listen, I'm sorry about-" she tries to say before Jack interrupts her. "It's okay, thanks."
Abby stares at him before tilting her head. "I've never seen you like this," she muttered.
Jack looks at her with a furrowed brow. "Like what?"
"Vulnerable," Abby replied bluntly.
Jack shifts in his spot before murmuring, "I'm retired."
Abby shakes her head. "Not if you're drinking here, you're not." She then gestures to the shelf behind her. "The usual?" she asked, getting a nod in response. She left to get Jack's usual drink.
The screen changes focus on Cassandra who was looking at her phone before she turns her head to look at Jack who looks back at her. Then Abby returns and puts his drink on the counter. "Compliments on the house," she said, sliding a napkin over to him.
Jack looks over to Agnarr to see the man lifting his glass in a toast to his direction with a raised eyebrow and slight smirk.
Jack looks back to the napkin and noticed something the Audience are now seeing. Next to the lipstick kiss mark was three words written on the napkin. The Red Circle.
"Well, I guess Agnarr and Abby are helping Jack," Hiccup said.
"But what is The Red Circle?" Rapunzel asked.
The answer came in the scene changing to the inside of a dance club that seemed to be filled to the brim with dancers. On the wall was a large red circle shaped light.
"Well, that answers that," Lucius remarked.
Back in The Continental, Jack opens one of his bags after bringing it out from the closet hanger. Inside was a bulletproof vest along with a formal suit. The screen flickers from The Red Circle and its dancers and back to Jack who was putting on a belt of ammo magazine clips and a couple of pistols with their own modifications. He then puts on his bulletproof vest before grabbing his guns and putting them in their holsters on his belt. He then tucks a knife in pocket above his ankle.
In The Red Circle, men in suits enter with the head guard, Krogan wearing all black compared to the others wearing red shirts under their coats. He lifts a hand to his ear and presses on the commlink, calling the others. "Level 2, give me your status." he said in Russian.
Krogan sat up straighter at seeing that he was in this universe.
From another room, one of the guards responds, also in Russian. "VIP Room is clear."
"Balcony, tell me what you see." Krogan said next.
"No sign of him here," the responder speaks out.
Then the scene changes to the basement as Krogan's voice speaks. "Basement, how's it going down there?"
"Basement clear," the guard replied as he turns to see Hans in the pool with some friends and women, apparently having the time of their lives. One woman walks into the pool, holding a bottle of beverage. Hans and his friends notice her and begin singing in Russian.
Quiet a few men started looking at that particular woman with lustful stares when she was the main focus, or more accurately, the screen focused on her backside as she walked into the pool.
And then the theater echoed with SLAPs as the women next to these oogling men slapped them across the face. Or in Snotlout's case, got punched by Astrid.
Outside The Red Circle, the Audience see Jack standing across the street. There he sees one of Hans' friends, Victor, who he knows was with the Tarasov boy, helping him steal his car and kill his dog. Jack may not have seen his face that night thanks to the scarf that covered the bottom of his face, he recognizes the young man's hair. He watches Victor and his friends walk past the main entrance to another entrance in the alleyway. He watches them shake hands with the guard who lets them inside.
Inside The Red Circle, the Audience see Victor and his friend enter a changing room, a guard stands at the door. The young men are laughing among themselves. "Did you see the titties on that girl?" Victor laughed in Russian.
"I hope Lita is working tonight," his friend replied as he walked out of view of the Audience.
Back in the basement's pool area, Krogan and two men walk to the edge of the pool and Hans notices them. "Brothers! Come, have a drink with us!" he said to them in Russian.
"My job is to keep a boy safe, not babysit a drunkard," Krogan replied in Russian, an expression of disdain.
Hans looks his smile and speaks in a mocking tone, "Are you scared of the fucking boogeyman?" Then he declares arrogantly, "I'm not."
"Sure you're not," Pitch Black rolled his eyes.
"The correct name is Boogeyman killer, but the same principle I guess," Hiccup shrugged his shoulders.
"No." Krogan answered, leaning down and taking the bottle from Hans. "But you should be."
"Yeah, he should be." Susan concurred.
Hans frowns as the guards leave. "I want another bottle," he declared in a whiny tone. He looks to his friend and the women in the pool with them. "Right fucking now! Go get me a bottle. Come on!"
Both his friend and the women look at him with uncomfortable expressions before his friend reluctantly complies.
"I'm surprised he's acting like this, despite what he said to his father earlier," Vi commented. "Moron. Simple as that."
"He also doesn't appear to hold his alcohol," Viktor shook his head at the screen.
The scene changes to the alleyway entrance of The Red Circle where the Audience see the guard's face before Jack Frost's face appears out of the shadows behind the man and presses the barrel of his gun against the back of the guard's head. The man stiffens.
"Hello, Francis," Jack spoke in English.
". . . Mr. Frost." Francis replied with a slight nod.
"You lost weight," Jack remarked.
"Over SIXTY kilograms," Francis stated in Russian.
"Yeah? Impressive." Jack said in Russian as well, keeping the gun pressed against the back of Francis's head. "Are you here on business, sir?" the guard asked nervously.
"'Fraid so, Francis," Jack replied truthfully. "Why don't you take the rest of the night off?"
Without much hesitation, Francis takes out his ear piece and turns around to face Jack completely and nods his head. "Thank you, sir."
Jack lowers his gun in response with a single nod of his head.
"Well, it's nice that he gave him a chance to walk away," Rhaenys commented.
Corlys nodded. "It shows that he's not entirely blinded by vengeance driven bloodlust."
"But why did the subtitles highlight the word sixty?" Hiccup asked.
"It sounds important," Hiro said thoughtfully.
"Here's a hint," Gojira said, getting their attention. "Convert it into pounds."
"27, 60 kilograms is 27 pounds." Karmi said instantly. "But. . . what does that. . ." she trails off before a lightbulb formed over her head and she snapped her fingers. "A code! It's a code!"
Hiro instantly caught on. "A code for how many guards are in the building."
"Over 27," Hiccup muttered. "Should we keep track?"
Back in the bathrooms, Victor is now wearing a white bathrobe at the sinks, humming as he washes his hands. He looks to the closing door and sees that the guard is no longer there. He thinks nothing of it and takes a floss toothpick, checking the mirror to clean his teeth. Then he bends down to cup his hands and wash his face with water in the sink.
In the four to seven seconds he was doing this, the Audience's focus turns to the mirror and they see the reflection of Jack stabbing the other man that was dressed in a bathrobe in the neck and lets him silently drop to the floor, leaving a trail of blood on the lockers.
"Ooh, there goes two of them." Jinx said. "Granted, the one in the bathrobe probably wasn't a guard."
Victor looks up and sees the blood on the lockers. He turns around only to get punched in the face and then Jack walks into view of the Audience. "Where is Hans?" he demanded firmly.
Nose bleeding, Victor shakes his head at Jack. "Fuck you, motherfucker!" he sneered. He tries to punch the older man but Jack dodges the swing and then delivers a powerful kick to the man's groin.
Victor groans in pain, kneeling down before Jack grabs the strap of his robe and spins the man around and uses it to strangle the man.
"Where. Is. Hans?" Jack asked once more.
Victor murmurs once before speaking properly. "Bathhouse, downstairs!"
"You stole my car," Jack seethed in Russian before slamming Victor's head hard on the sink. "And you KILLED MY DOG!" Then he slams the punk's head back down on the sink again and the Audience see that it was still running with water and was now overflowing.
Jack pins Victor's neck on the edge of the sink basin while the man's face was submerged in the overflowing water. Victor struggled but it was no use and he decides to say his final words in the water. "FUCK YOU." And then Jack snapped his neck and let his body drop to the floor.
He turns off the sink faucet and then picks up Victor's phone and puts it in his pocket before he leaves the bathroom quietly like a spirit.
Jack sees the bathhouse via a large window wall in the room. He scans the room before seeing Hans in the pool. He frowns slightly before sneaking through the shadows like a leopard stalking prey.
Back in the camera room, Krogan inspects the camera footage of The Red Circle. "Any sign of Jack Frost?" he asked in Russian.
"No, nothing," replied a guard next to him.
"Level two, give me your status," Krogan said on his commlink.
The scene changed to the dark rooms of the bathhouse and the Audience see one of the guards dropping against the blue colored glass wall, leaving a trail of blood to stain the glass while "Think" by plays in the background.
"Status report: We are dead." Hiro said robotically.
"Mission failed," Penny said before laughing.
"Basement clear?" Krogan's voice asked and the Audience sees the third guard on patrol. "Yes, it's clear." Just as he said that, he stepped into a blue lit part of the room and is stabbed in the gut by Jack Frost while his mouth was covered by the Baba Yaga's hand. The guard tries to push the man's hand off, but Jack avoids his swing and hits him in the neck. Grabbing the mouth again, Jack stabs the guard right in the chin staring directly into his eyes with an emotionless expression like the angel of death watching his soul slowly leaves his body before he slowly lets the dead man drop quietly.
A few chuckles and snickers broke out when the guard told the boss it was all clear just before he was killed. But on the other hand, perfect timing for Jack.
Jack then makes his way closer to the pool Hans was in. Just as he steps in the red light, the fourth guard walks out the door behind him. Jack prevents the man from grabbing his gun with his knife, but the man catches his arm and pushes back, trying to aim his gun but Jack stops him. He then smacks the guard's gun out his hand and slashes with his knife but the guard ducks under the blade and then tackles Jack into the shelf of towels.
The screen focuses on the other side of the shelf where they catch a glimpse of a woman walking past the shelf just as it falls down and Jack and the guard are seen by everyone in the bathhouse, including the cameras.
"Uh," Jinx drawled before blowing a strand of hair from her face. "Hi."
"HE'S HERE!" Krogan shouted, rising to his feet before bolting to the door.
Jack blocks the jabs from the guard before slashing the man in his waist, grabs his arm and then pins him down on his stomach with his hand.
Hans sees this and reaches for a pistol he kept next to the pool while everyone else that were just dressed in swim wear booked it for the exit.
Jack aims his gun and shoots the fifth and sixth guards that tried to rush over to him before aiming it directly at Hans who stiffens in fear, eyes wide in terror.
So much for not being scared of the fucking boogeyman.
"You were saying?" Ekko said mockingly.
"You look pretty scared of the fucking boogeyman to me," Vi said.
Isha made herself shudder mockingly in fear.
Jack stares at him with narrowed cold blue eyes for a second before aiming his gun at the struggling guard under him and shoots the man in the head while not breaking eye contact with Hans.
"That's going to be you in a few seconds, punk." Jack said quietly in anger.
He rises up, leaving the dead body on the ground and aims at the terrified Hans before a large muscular man, the seventh guard steps out of the pool in front of him and forces him to aim at the ceiling. Jack struggles with the man before stabbing him in the chest with his knife. He sees Hans running away. Gritting his teeth, Jack stomps his foot hard on the bouncer's foot and then shot him three times in the chest and once in the head, and lets the man drop into the swimming pool.
"Damn, that was brutal."
"He's probably sending a message to Hans with every guard he's killing."
"Or just trying to scare him more."
"That too."
He aims at Hans who quickly grabs a woman and holds her in front of him for a human shield.
Many frowned at seeing Hans' next action.
"Coward," Anna said angrily.
"Despicable." Mel shook her head.
"Scum," Caitlyn spat.
Jack stops before he pulls the trigger and holsters his gun. Seeing this, Hans throws the woman to the side, running behind a glass panel wall, but he underestimated how quick of a draw Jack was. Time slows to a crawl as the snow white hair and bearded man pulls out another pistol from his belt, his breath exhaling was the only thing heard briefly.
He decides to play with Hans some more, aiming just a few inches away from Hans and fires. The bullets all hit the glass panels in different locations while Hans runs for the stairs.
"Go ahead, run." Jack said laughing darkly. "It makes all the more fun for me."
What he didn't know was that Pitch Black and the Guardians stiffened as his words made them think of someone else.
A gunshot sounds, not from Jack's gun and Jack turns around and fires at the eighth guard behind him and dives for cover.
The Audience sees Hans running up the stairs before Jack kills the guard before running after the man in a towel. He shoots another guard that was on the stairs before the man could react.
Krogan and the twenty-sixth and twenty-seventh guards arrive but see that they're too late from stopping Jack going up the stairs. "Follow me!" Krogan ordered his men before turning to leave the bathhouse in another exit.
The Audience then sees Hans running into the club's dance room, pushing past the dancers, still wearing a towel around his legs and a gun in hand with techno music playing loudly in the background. The screen flickers as if the club's disco lights were trying to blind the Audience through the screen.
"Gah! My eyes!"
"Is the screen trying to blind us?!"
But then the screen comes into focus as Jack walks into the scene with an aura of focus, commitment and sheer will as he walks past the dancers as if he was a spirit. Hans sees him in the crowd and aims his gun with a fearful expression.
Jack sees this and continues walking without batting an eye at the gun aimed at him. Hans' hand shakes and with the bright flashing disco lights, he's not confident he'll hit Jack and not the dancers. He opts for running away again.
Hans then runs into the ninth guard. He points in Jack's general direction. "It's the Boogeyman!" he says to the guard fearfully before running.
Jack continues walking before he sees the guard and quickly shoots him in the front. The tenth guard comes into view and Jack grabs his arm and fires him a couple of times in the chest. He then aims at the first guard that was on the ground and shoots him in the head.
Did I forget to mention that everyone else was still dancing around the scene? Just how loud was the techno music playing and how drunk/high on drugs are they to be ignoring all that?
"Seriously?" Jayce exclaimed. "Those people are standing close to them, how are they not noticing the guards being killed?"
"This isn't the first time we've seen something like this," Hiccup said. "The same thing happened in The Night Fury viewing. He was fighting the goons and most people ignored it, even when the guns were firing."
Moving on, Krogan calls for the other guards on his ear piece. "Frost is here! He's in the building!"
Then the Audience sees Hans running into the VIP room. "Move!" He shouts to the dancers before seeing some guards in front of him. "He's here! He's fucking here!" He points in the direction he came. "He's there! He's coming!"
After he runs out of the room, Jack walks into the room, gun at the ready. He blocks the eleventh guard with his arm and shoots him twice in the gut. He then pivots on his heel to shoot guard 12 in the head and then pivots again to shoot the thirteenth guard in the chest and head.
The fourteenth guard grabs his gun but Jack hits him with his fist and then shoots him in the leg before flipping him over onto his back and shoots him dead. The fifteenth guard came, Jack takes the shot but misses as the guard tries to swing at him but Jack counterattacks, swinging his gun as blunt weapon at the neck, causing the man to stagger to a pillar.
Jack aims to shoot him but his gun clicks. Empty. His face scrunching annoyance, Jack quickly reloads his gun while the guard is still staggering from the blow to the neck before Jack shoots him in the face.
"Damn, I hate when that happens," Jinx said in exasperation. "But at least he was quick to reload."
"His expression was a bit funny," Ekko said with a chuckle. "He was like 'Dang it, I thought I had more bullets.'"
He then shoots at the sixteenth guard before shooting guard seventeen. The eighteenth guard hides behind a pillar while Jack does the same. He peeks behind him and sees the guard's foot and shoots, causing the man to scream in pain and expose himself to Jack who shoots him in the chest and head. Jack then kicks the doors open.
He ducks down as the nineteenth guard attempts to shoot him and sweep his legs out. Jack however grabs the man's legs with his own and brings him down. Jack gets up and kills guard 20 before pinning guard nineteen before shooting guards 21 and 22. He then repositions himself over guard 20 and pins him back down with a better hold before shooting the man right in the eye.
Jack looks ahead before getting back up to continue his pursuit of Hans Tarasov.
Entering another dance room with red lighting, Jack reloads his gun and shoots the twenty-third guard but misses. He smacks the guard with an elbow to the chest and then shoots him in the leg. Jack then turns and swings at the twenty-fourth guard but misses the shot. He grabs the guard's arm and snaps his elbow to the opposite direction before shooting him in the neck.
Jack turns around to shoot the twenty-third guard as he gets up. He grabs the twenty-fifth guard, spins around him to shoot guard 26 before flipping guard 25 over and shoots him. Guard 27 arrives only to get flipped down onto the floor and killed by Jack Frost.
The snow white haired man then sees Hans running into another room before guard 28, a bald man with a beard, comes out of cover and shoots Jack who takes cover behind a pillar wall as he shoots back. He then leans to the back of the wall, aims and shoots the guard in the leg, causing the man to stumble out of cover.
In all honestly, more than a handful of people laughed at how Jack grabbed the guard's beard and used it like a leash. Though a few like Stoick, Alvin and other Vikings didn't laugh and grimaced at the thought of that happening to them.
Jack then grabs a glass bottle and smashes it in the guard's face. He then grabs a fistful of the man's beard and pulls him over to a table and pins him down before shooting him in the head twice.
Krogan then walks into view and fires at Jack. Jack is hit in the stomach and is knocked off his feet. He fires back, killing guard 29 but Krogan takes cover and then Jack's gun runs out of ammo again. Krogan walks forward before the dancers and other customers get into view.
"Jack!" The Guardians grimaced while many in the Audience cried out in worry. Elsa being the loudest before she covered in mouth in embarrassment.
"Hold on," Hiccup said, holding a hand up. "He's got a bullet proof vest."
This made Elsa sigh in relief.
People are now exiting The Red Circle, Hans in his towel being among them as a black car arrives in front of him. The car is driven by one of his friends. "Get in! Get in!" the man shouts urgently and Hans hops into the back seat.
"Dang it, he's getting away!" Dash snapped his fingers.
"That wouldn't have happened if Jack didn't mess around in the bathhouse," Sevika commented.
"Maybe, but the old timer's been retired for five years," Jinx shrugged. "He probably misses the thrill of the hunt."
Back inside The Red Circle, Jack leans against the wall, clutching where he was shot at. He was wounded but not bleeding. Ignoring the wound, Jack waits and glances back for Krogan. Just as Krogan arrives, Jack grabs his gun as the lead guard tries to fire at him. Jack flips him over and throws his gun away but Krogan gets out of his grip and back to his feet. Krogan then kicks Jack in the side, sending him to the floor.
Jack gets up on his knees and blocks the high kick from Krogan before being kicked down again. He grabs the man's throat but Krogan sends quick jabs to Jack's sides, causing the man to let go. Jack swings a fist but the lead guard grabs his fist and throws more jabs and punches to Jack's waist and face causing him to stumble back.
With a grunt, Jack goes for another swing, yet is grabbed and then flipped over by Krogan. He gets back up before getting kicked back to the balcony fence before he moves around Krogan and pins him against the balcony fist, dragging his nails down Krogan's face and tries to guage the man's eyes out their sockets.
Krogan struggles in Jack's grip before he reaches to the side and grabs a wine bottle and smashes it against Jack's face, shattering it before using it as a shank to stab Jack at his stomach. Jack tries to retaliate but Krogan gets the upper hand, holding Jack on his shoulders before tossing over the balcony fence.
"Oh boy, this is going to hurt," Jack grimaced to himself.
Jack onscreen shouts, waving his arms as he falls before he hits the ground with a THUD! Krogan looks over the fence to see if he's still alive. He gets the answer in the form of Jack reaching to the back of his waist where he pulls out his second pistol and fires at Krogan. But the lead guard ducks for cover, avoiding being shot while the bullets just hit the balcony's underside.
"Ooh!" Many winced or grimaced at Jack's fall and impact.
"He'll feel that in the morning."
"Ooh, and he landed on the gun in his belt there."
"Good thing the gun didn't go off or anything."
"Ouch."
"I felt that in me own back," Gobber remarked.
Grunting and groaning in pain, Jack rises on shaky legs.
Then the Audience sees Hans dialing a number on his phone. Then the screen shows Jack limping out of The Red Circle among the crowd before a phone is heard ringing. Pulling it out, he and the Audience sees that it's Victor's phone.
And Hans is the caller. "Victor, where the fuck are you?!"
"Victor's dead," Jack's voice replied coldly and the Audience saw Hans' eyes widening in surprise and fear. The screen then shows Jack's scowling face as he speaks in Russian. "Everything's got a PRICE."
With that, he hangs up the call and the Audience sees Hans lowering his phone with a fearful expression.
"Okay, so despite the guy getting away, the one thing we can walk away with is that Hans is knocked down a handful of pegs." Hiccup said.
"You know, my counterpart getting his butt kicked shouldn't be that much of a surprise," Jack said. "He's been retired and that guard was clearly smart enough to have the other guards slow him down."
The scene changes to show Jack entering The Continental, holding his bleeding stomach and walking to the front desk. Heathcliff looks up and sees Jack's state but seems unbothered. "Good evening, Mr. Frost." he greets.
"Evening," Jack grunts.
"How may I help you?" The receptionist asked.
"Is the doctor in?" Jack asked in response.
Heathcliff nods his head. "Yes, sir. 24/7."
"Send him up, please." Jack requested. The receptionist nods. "Yes sir."
"How good is your laundry?" Jack asked next.
Heathcliff grimaced slightly, knowing that Jack was referring to his blood stained clothes. "I'm sorry to say, sir, but no one's that good."
"I thought not," Jack sighed in response. If there was one thing he didn't like in this profession, it was cleaning his blood stain clothes. Which was like trying to hold smoke clouds in your hands. Near impossible.
Elsa sighed in relief at hearing Jack was asking for a doctor.
Quiet a few laughed or snickered at the second exchange of Jack and the receptionist, clearly asking if his clothes could be cleaned of the blood.
Jack turns away to walk off before Heathcliff calls out after him. "May I suggest a drink? Bourbon perhaps?"
Jack considers it before nodding. "Sounds perfect."
Later that night, Jack's stab wound is getting stitched up by the Continental's doctor, Benzo.
Those from Runeterra stared at the screen in surprise, none more surprised than Ekko. Oh, Benzo. . . Dad, he thought sadly. He looks exactly as I remember him.
Vi and Vander were thinking along the same way. Sevika and Scar sighed heavily to themselves, knowing the history and importance the man on the screen had in Zaun's past while Jinx was looking at the screen sadly. The blue haired young woman sees Ekko's expression and bumps her shoulder against his. Ekko looked to her briefly and just nodded in response.
Caitlyn, Victor and the others from Piltover noticed how the Zaunites were reacting but chose not to ask.
Isha tilts her head, noticing how her mother and the others next to her were reacting to seeing the old man on the screen and got curious.
Jack grunts as he wears a sling around his arm and an ice pack is placed on his right shoulder. "So, what kind of movement am I looking at, Doc?" Jack asked.
Benzo looked up from his work to Jack. "Well, if you're lookin' to heal, then keep it marginal." he advised the man. "However, if you still have business to attend to. . ." He grabs a small bottle of pills and holds it out to Jack who grabs it. "Take two of these beforehand. Your stitches will tear and you'll bleed. But at least you'll have full function."
"Now, do you need anything for the pain?" Benzo asked as Jack picks up his glass of bourbon. He shakes his head at the doctor. "No, I got that covered."
The scene changed to a rooftop outside of The Continental and the Audience see E. Aster with his sniper rifle and there he uses it to look into Jack's room as the man is getting ready to sleep in his bed unaware that he was being targeted by the sniper assassin.
E. Aster then aims up to see someone entering Jack's room. It's Cassandra. He aims back at Jack, aims it just slightly off and fires.
"No!" Many of the teens shouted.
"Wait, Cassandra's there!" Rapunzel exclaimed.
"That explains the way she was looking at him earlier." Eugene said. "She wasn't some old flame or anything like that."
"She was planning on killing him herself." Tooth added.
"And break the rules of the Continental for a doubled bounty," Anna said with wide eyes.
But the bullet hits the pillow a few inches from Jack's head after breaking through the window. The action jolts Jack awake.
E. Aster cocks his rifle in his arms.
Jack rolls off his bed, out of view of his window only to see Cassandra with a silencer pistol. Cassandra aims and fires, but misses Jack who dives out of the way. "Hey, Jack." she said in a flirting manner before firing across the wall separating her and Jack, the man rolls across his bed to dodge each bullet before landing on his knees on the other side.
"Cassandra," Jack greeted in a winded tone.
"Thought I'd let myself in," Cassandra replied.
"No kidding," Ekko remarked.
"I see that," Jack remarked as he pulled the sling off his arm. Just as Cassandra walks around the corner and aims her gun, Jack uses the sling to wrap around her arm and throw off her aim and then pinned her against the wall. He uses the sling to throw her gun out of her hand and then wrap it around her neck like a noose.
"I never knew Ms. Cassandra got out of bed for less than three," Jack remarked, knowing the female assassin was breaking the rules of The Continental for a bounty of less than three million dollars.
"Viggo's giving me four to break Hotel rules," Cassandra said with a confident smile through her noose.
"That's unwise, I assure you!" Jack replied with gritted teeth.
Cassandra just chuckles in response as she tries to break out of Jack's makeshift noose but this causes him to flip her over his shoulder and onto the floor. He picks her back up and holds her while she glares at him.
"You were always a pussy," Cassandra spat.
"Hey, you're not the one fighting in his underwear," Jack shot back in response.
"Yeah, and you tried to sneak up on him instead of just actually fighting him one on one," Elsa said in agreement.
Then she jabs Jack in his injured arm, followed by kneeling him in his stomach before flipping him onto the floor. She holds up a strap from her jacket to her mouth and bites on it while Jack rolls to his knees and looks at her with a glare.
Jack throws a punch which Cassandra blocks and then the Hotel room phone rings somewhere nearby.
Then the scene changed to show Heathcliff holding a phone to his ear as he waits for the call to be answered.
Back in Jack's room, both the man and Cassandra are struggling to overpower one another and then fall onto the couch while E. Aster observes the fight from his perch on the rooftop. Cassandra manages to get on top of Jack while the phone continues to ring and the fight continues.
Cassandra then wraps the strap she was biting on around Jack's neck and uses it to strangle the older man.
Jack stands up and tries to shake her off, but Cassandra kicks off the couch and uses her weight to throw Jack off balance. Jack gets back up and slams Cassandra against the glass shelves in the room and the glass shatters.
E. Aster continues to watch the fight and then Cassandra knees Jack in the stomach multiple times before changing her position and rolls Jack over the bed to the other side. Now holding Jack from behind, she brings her left hand up and slams it down where Jack's wound was freshly stitched up, tearing the stitches and causes the wound to reopen and bleed profusely.
Meanwhile, Heathcliff was still waiting for his call to answer.
Despite knowing the situation, many in the Audience couldn't help but snicker or chuckle lightly seeing the scene change from the two assassins fighting and the receptionist waiting on the phone.
And back in Room 818, Jack slams Cassandra into the TV before flipping her onto the glass coffee table. Jack then reaches to his bed and pulls the bed sheet off and wraps it around Cassandra's head, forcing her to stand and deliver three punches to her face. Jack then lifts her onto his shoulders and throws her through the glass panel on his bed's headboard and she lands on the floor on the other side.
"Huh, for a split second, I thought Jack threw her out the window." Eugene commented.
"Honestly, me too," Rapunzel said.
Jack then walks over to the ringing phone and answers. "Yeah?"
"I apologize for calling you at this hour," Heathcliff's answer replied before he was shown at the front desk. "But we have received a number of grievances from your floor, concerning the noise."
"I can believe that." Vander snorted.
"Damn noisy neighbors," Jinx said in a deep voice. "I'm trying to sleep."
Injured and bleeding from the nose, Cassandra opens the bedroom door and crawls out into the hallway. "My apologies," Jack's voice replied casually before he was shown, turning his head to the door with narrowed blue eyes. "I was dealing with an uninvited guest."
"That's one way to say it," Vi said.
"I see. How unfortunate," Heathcliff remarked. "Would you be in need of, say, a dinner reservation, perhaps?"
"Maybe, I'll get back to you," Jack replied before hanging up.
He then walks out of his room with a gun in hand and walks over to the still crawling Cassandra and pulls her head back by her hair.
"No!" Cassandra protested as she felt Jack's gun pressed against her head.
"Where's Hans?" Jack demanded calmly.
"Fuck you," Cassandra hissed.
"What about Viggo?" Jack asked next.
"I'm not telling you shit!" Cassandra retorted.
Jack pushes his gun against her head, making her flinch. "Do you really want to die here, Cassandra?" he asked coldly. "Give me something".
Cassandra reluctantly gives in. "Little Russia," she spoke up. "There's a church near Cannon Court." The screen briefly shows the Audience the church.
"What about it?" Jack asked.
"It's a front." Cassandra replied. "It's where Viggo keeps his private stash."
Again, the screen shows a glimpse to the Audience of a secret room where two women sit at a desk and print money.
Back in The Continental hallway, Jack thinks it over. "Thanks." Then he knocks her out with the gun. Before he moves, he hears a gun click behind him. He holds his hands up in surrender.
"Well, now he knows where to hit Viggo hard," Viktor said.
"Uh oh, looks like one of the neighbors is now trying to tell Jack to keep the noise down," Hiccup said.
"Do I know you?" asked a smooth male's voice behind Jack. Jack perks up from the voice and turns his head slightly. "I'm thinking so."
Jack turns around and sees Lucius Best standing at the door of a room behind him with a white shirt and boxers and a gun in hand. The two men recognize each other. Lucius lowers his gun. "Hey, Jack."
"Hey, Lucius." Jack replied.
"Huh, this surreal," Lucius said, tilting his head at seeing his alternative universe counterpart.
His wife snickered next to him. "First time showing up on screen, and you're in your underwear."
Lucius just shrugged. "It could be worse."
"Everything alright?" Lucius asked in concern.
"Yeah, everything's fine," Jack answered. He glances at Cassandra's unconscious form.
"Well, I'll leave you to it," Lucius said and he moves to go back to his room.
But then Jack decided something. "Hey, Lucius, you keen on earning a coin? Babysitting the sleepin' one?" he asked.
Lucius stops and looks over at Jack gesturing to Cassandra. "Catch and release?"
Jack nods his head. "Catch and release."
The next day, Jack stands outside in his black suit across the Little Russia church near Cannon Court with a black cloth covering something hanging from his right shoulder. He takes two of the pills given to him by Benzo.
Jack then walks into the church, the screen briefly focuses on two men that sat on opposite sides with visible tattoos on their hands while a pianist plays on an organ on a balcony and an elderly woman sat on another bench.
A man with white hair dressed in green and white robes approaches Jack with a friendly smile. "My son, how may I help you?"
Jack responds with pulling out his assault rifle from the black cloth and shoots the priest in the knee. Just as the man falls down, Jack pivots around and shoots the two men that tried to aim their guns at him before shooting the pianist on the balcony as the man had a gun himself.
"Wow!"
"So anyways, I started blasting." Jack said jokingly.
"That's a priest, lad!"
"Wait, that lass said the church was a front, though."
"Considering that almost every person just pulled out a gun before getting shot, I suppose so."
The only person who didn't have a gun or do anything was the elderly woman. Either she must be really senile to not react to Jack killing three men in the church or this was something she was used to.
"Probably both," Camicazi remarked.
"MOTHERFUCKER!" the priest shouted while holding his bleeding knee, no longer in a friendly tone whatsoever. Then he speaks in Russian. "Do you have any idea who you're fucking with?"
Most of the teens gasped mockingly in shock at what the 'priest' had said.
"Sir, you are in a church," Daenerys scolded in a mocking tone.
"Yeah, I do." Jack replied simply before forcing the man to stand. "Let's go to the vault."
In the vault, the two guards were shot down easily while the two women inside the gate at the desks looked up fearfully as Jack dragged the fake priest over to the gate and threw him down, aiming his rifle at the man. "Open it."
"You think you can scare me into opening the gate?" The man asked defiantly in Russian.
"Yeah," Jack replied simply. "Open it."
The fake priest hesitates and loses his bravado. "Viggo will kill me." he trembled.
Jack stares at him before smacking the remaining guard with his rifle and then shooting him dead. He aims the rifle back at the false priest. "Uh-huh." was all he said.
"Translation: I don't give a fuck," Jinx said with a cackle.
The man stares up at him before giving in and unlocked the gate. Jack enters the vault and gestures to the women at the desk. "Ladies, out." he said simply and let the two women leave the vault while calling after them, "Have a nice day." He then looks at the vault and its contents.
Time passes and the Audience sees Jack had piled up all the money, paper information, coins and artwork into one big pile.
"Honestly, what do you think you're going to do with all of that?" the fake priest asked, still in the same place Jack had dropped him.
"This," Jack replied, taking out an incendiary grenade and tossing it onto the pile. The pile instantly combusts into flames and Jack walks away, slow motion briefly showing while the fake priest stumbles back with a fearful whimper.
Viggo was not going to like this.
"Yeah, that will really hurt Viggo," Hiccup nodded.
"It will also get him angry," Baela said in agreement. "Flush him out even and then Jack can interrogate him where Hans is."
Later, Jack was then shown standing on a rooftop across the church when Viggo and his guards arrived on the scene in three black SUV's. "Get me that fucking idiot!" The Tarasov demanded angrily.
Jack then watches from his vantage point as Viggo and the fake priest speaks, but whatever the fearful man says doesn't do anything to spare him from getting executed by Krogan who was standing behind him.
Jack decides it's time to move in.
Meanwhile, back in The Continental, the Audience sees Cassandra with black tape over her mouth that is pulled off by Lucius. "Don't worry, Housekeeping will find you." the African American says to the handcuffed woman while looking at the gold coin Jack had given him before putting it in his vest pocket.
"Treat all your ladies like this?" Cassandra scoffed.
"You are no lady, trust me," Lucius retorted.
Unbeknownst to him, Cassandra grabs her thumb and dislocates it. "Lucius, is it?" she spoke up. "How would you like to earn more than just a gold coin?"
"Lucius, be careful." Bob said. "She's free."
Lucius shakes his head and walks toward her, unaware of the danger he was stepping close to. "You've broken the rules." He said to her. "You've done business on Continental grounds." He leans in front of her. "And management does not take kindly to that sort of behavior."
"Lucius, wait!" Honey exclaimed.
Cassandra glares at him while sliding her hand out of the handcuff thanks to her dislocated thumb. "Fuck management," she spat before headbutting Lucius, making the man stumble to his bed. Cassandra quickly puts a pillow over his head and before he could fight her off, she takes out a pistol and shoots him through the pillow, leaving a hole in the pillow and blood staining the bed.
"No!" Honey screamed. Lucius stared blinking his eyes. ". . . Well shit."
Bob and Helen gritted their teeth, trying their best to keep their anger in check. Though the former ended up snapping his seat cup holder like a tin can. Both Dash and Violet were struggling to hold themselves back from revealing their powers. Dash wanted to run into the screen to get Lucius's counterpart out of the hotel room while Violet wanted to launch a wave of force field energy at Cassandra.
"Don't worry, Housekeeping will find you," Cassandra said mockingly before taking the gold coin from his pocket and popping her thumb back into place before she leaves the room.
The scene changes back to Cannon Court, Viggo is fuming in anger. "SHIT!" he shouts, shaking his head. "Ashes to ashes." Then he turns to Avi and shouts, "Can we recover from this?!"
Avi flinches but replies. "Viggo, you know what was in that vault, right? It's nothing." This does little to settle the Russian mafia boss but before anything else, one of his guards is shot in the head on his right behind him.
The Audience then see Jack walking into the courtyard parking lot, assault rifle in hand and he starts firing at the guards across from him. Viggo, Avi dive for cover while Krogan and his men all get in battle positions behind the cars.
"Here we go!"
"Okay, let's do this!"
"Get them, Jack!"
"Shit," Viggo mutters while Krogan is shown shooting back at Jack. The snow white haired man moves behind one of the cars and reloads his rifle before killing an underling while the car window next to him shatters. He moves to the side.
Jack gets out of cover and kills three men. "Cover me!" Krogan shouts as he runs out of view and his men follow his command.
Jack lowers his rifle and pulls out his pistol to kill off more men before taking cover once more.
Krogan hops into an SUV and drives forward.
"That can't be good," Jack said.
Jack switches back to his rifle, reloads it quickly before he starts gunning down more guards. He grabs one guard, pins him to the car while aiming his gun at the other guards and shoots them before shooting the one he pinned to the car.
He continues to fire at the guards, unaware of Krogan driving towards him as he hides behind the back of a car while shooting before Krogan's car slams into the back of the car and sending Jack flying off his feet and to the ground.
"Look out!" Hiccup shouted before grimacing and wincing, much like when the giant torch brazier rolled down the village.
"Jack!" Elsa shouted in concern and worry.
Jack begins to lose consciousness and the last thing he sees is Viggo and his remaining guards walking over to him before the screen goes black.
Jack begins to regain consciousness and finds himself in a chair, his hands zipped tied behind his back with Krogan and another guard behind him. They looked to be inside a church that is going under renovations. Viggo walks into view with Avi and another guard. "I'll say this, Jack," he began. "They sure as fuck broke the mold with you."
"Well, the good news is they didn't kill him yet," Vi said.
"If my hunch is right, they're going to regret not doing that when they had the chance." Ekko said.
Viggo sits down and shrugs off his jacket. "You always had this certain. . . audacity about you. You know, right?"
Jack just stares back at him with a hard glare, not saying anything.
Viggo nods in agreement with his statement. "I can say you're still very much the Jack Frost of old."
Jack tilts his head slightly. "Am I?" he asked after a moment.
"People don't change," Viggo replied. "You know that. Times, they do." Then he sighs before leaning forward to Jack. "Do you know what was in that vault?"
Jack lightly shrugs in a mocking manner. "Artwork, cash, not without its worth, but the leverage I had on this city!" Viggo rants, pointing to the window next to them. "Audio recordings, physical, blackmail, it was fucking priceless!" He stands up and points at Jack. "PRICELESS!" he shouts.
"It's like you said earlier, Boy Savior," Jinx said to Ekko. "He was going to destroy their mafia."
"I'd say he's nearly succeeded." Ekko replied. "He's practically killed all their middle men and just burned all the leverage they had, as Viggo just said.
Jack stares at him with a slight raised eyebrow. ". . . Yeah. I kinda enjoyed that." he said, allowing a small smirk.
Quiet a few respected Jack's boldness in saying that when he's handcuffed and unarmed.
"Yeah? I know you did," Viggo laughs bitterly before he punches Jack in the face. Jack recoils and shakes his head while Viggo rubs his fist before sitting down in his chair.
"Then you got married, huh? Settled down." Viggo went on. "How did you manage that anyways?"
"That is a bit of a excellent question," Wilbur said. "But not really any of our business."
Jack shrugs in response. "Luck, I guess."
"Yes, yes," Viggo nods his head in response. "Well, while you had your wife, I had my son. And believe me, you had a far better deal." He remarked bitterly.
"Oof, shots fired to Hans and he's not even on the screen."
He stands up and leans to Jack's ear. "And then you left. Lying to yourself that the past held no sway over the future, but in the end. . . " He leans back and sits back in his chair.
Jack silently watches his movements while Viggo continues speaking. "A lot of us are rewarded for our misdeeds," he leans to Jack's face. "Which is why God took your wife. . ." Jack now looks like he's considering the man's words. "And unleashed you upon me. This life follows you," Viggo goes on, shaking his head while staring back at Jack. "It clings to you, infecting everyone that comes close to you." He points at Jack and then himself. "We are cursed, you and I."
"Ooh," Link winced at Viggo's words.
"How dare he. . ." Anna muttered angrily.
Some in the Audience started to think over Viggo's words.
". . . Maybe he's got a point."
"What? Are ye serious?"
"Think of it. If he was some assassin in his younger years, maybe it's punishment from the Allfather that he lost his wife."
"But he left that life behind for her, that has to. . ."
"On the other hand, in the bigger picture, maybe the gods were sending him to Viggo and his gang as a form of punishment."
". . . On that, we agree." Jack said after a moment with a slight nod of his head.
Viggo looks surprised by Jack's response before smiling at Avi. "Finally, common ground." he remarks before looking back at Jack, leaning in his chair.
"Step aside, give me your son." Jack demanded calmly.
Viggo stares at him with wide eyes. "Jack Frost," he muttered and then sneering in Russian, "The Baba Yaga (The Boogeyman.)" He rises to stand and puts his jacket on. "It was just a fucking car, just a fucking dog."
"He wasn't just a dog," Elsa whispered angrily.
"Just a dog?" Jack repeated, lowering his head and gazed at the floor. ". . . Viggo."
The man looks at him with a raised eyebrow. "Yeah?"
Jack looks up at him with a broken expression. "When Elsa died, I lost everything," he began sadly. "Until that dog arrived at my doorstep. In that moment, I received some semblance of hope." he looks down sadly. "An opportunity to grieve unalone." Then he looks up at Viggo, a cold fire burning in his blue eyes. "And then your son, took that from me."
"Oh come on," Viggo says in exasperation, shaking his head slightly.
"Stole that from me!" Jack shouts. "Killed that from me!" His voice echoes in the empty church.
Many looked at Jack with sympathy when he was speaking in a sad tone with a broken expression before they all felt some chills and shivers go through them when the cold fury began to burn in his words.
Truthfully, one of the dangerous things in this world will be a man who feels that he has nothing to lose in the mortal world other than his soul.
Viggo looks around, trying to appear unbothered.
"People keep asking if I'm back," Jack goes on, referring to Caitlyn and Agnarr. "And I really haven't had an answer. But now, yeah," he nods his head and growls through his teeth, "I'm thinking I'm back! So you can either hand over your son. . .!"
Viggo muttered a command in Russian that had no translation for the Audience but he turns to walk away. Jack rises to his feet, ignoring how Krogan and the other guard block his path and force him back to his seat. "OR YOU CAN DIE, SCREAMING ALONGSIDE HIM!"
Then Krogan and the other guard pull a plastic bag over his head and use their weight to strangle him with it. Viggo and his guards leave the building while Jack kicks his legs wildly but the lack of oxygen and the weight of the strangle makes him slowly stop moving.
Then the Audience see E. Aster with his sniper outside the building and he fires into the church window and kills the guard on the left of Jack with a shot to the head. Aster cocks his gun. Both Jack and Krogan look at the dead man dropping to ground before the latter moves to look at the window and prepares to fire back.
"Nice shot!" Ruby Gillman cheered.
"Now he has a chance," Chelsea commented. "I mean, he's still cuffed, but I wouldn't be surprised if he was trained to fight with his hands tied behind his back.
"Here we go!" Mei and her friends cheered.
But then Jack charges him from behind with an enraged yell, tackling Krogan to the ground. Jack then shifts his arms down the back of his legs so that they're in front of him and pulls the bag off his head.
"Or get his hands in front of him," Chelsea corrected her words. "That too."
Krogan aims his gun at Jack only for the weapon to get knocked out of his hands by Jack. The two then struggle in a wrestling match before Jack jabs Krogan in the gut with both his hands followed by a knee kick. But Krogan remained standing. Jack decided to his weight to flip the head guard on the floor and attempted to strangle him with his leg.
Krogan broke free from his grip and the two entered another wrestling grapple. Jack pushes Krogan back before the lead guard punches him in the lower body and then swept his legs out from under him. Krogan continues to punch Jack down but Jack uses his legs to bring the lead guard down. He kicks Krogan in the head but his opponent gets up and pins Jack down. He then reaches over to grab some of the plastic tarp on the floor and uses it to strangle Jack.
Jack rolls in an attempt to escape the hold but that didn't work. He then elbowed Krogan in the face but the man kept his hold on the plastic strangling Jack. The snow white haired man then knees the lead guard in the stomach and Krogan finally lets go of the plastic.
"Come on, Jack!" Elsa and the other teens cheered.
"This is where a hook hand comes in handy," Gobber said. "You can cut your ropes off and escape."
"Unless your enemies take your hook hand from you," Daemon deadpanned at him in response.
Jack and Krogan get up and get into another scuffle before the latter knocks the former down and pins him down and moves to strangle Jack with his hands. This proved to be a wrong move for Jack grabs his left hand, pull it to his mouth and bites down hard on his thumb. When Krogan recoils in pain, Jack used his leg to pull him to the ground and move to his back while hooking his zip tied handcuffs around Krogan's neck while trapping the man between his legs.
Krogan struggles and wheezes, tries to get out of Jack's stranglehold but he slowly begins to stop moving. Once he does, Jack uses his legs to break the man's neck with a barely audible SNAP.
Krogan grunted in anger at his defeat but at least he had gone down fighting.
E. Aster was shown sitting down with a small smile as he dissembles his sniper rifle.
Jack runs over to the dead guard, searches his pants before pulling out a knife and uses it to cut his hands free. He then runs over to the side to pick up a triple barreled assault shotgun rifle and runs out of the church just as Viggo's SUV is driving away.
Apparently the fight happened in the time it took for Viggo to leave the church and get into his car.
"Well, so much for going anywhere," Jim remarked to Toby and Claire.
Jack aims his gun before lowering it and then runs to an alleyway, pushes the gate open before jogging through the alleyway until he gets into the street that Viggo's car was driving on. He aims and fires at the car's hood, forcing the car to swerve to the side and crash into a parked car roughly ten feet away from Jack who turns away at the collision.
Jack then climbs to stand on top of the SUV, aims his gun at the driver and fires at it.
"Cool it, cool it, cool it, cool it!" Viggo says fearfully as he gets out of the passenger door, his hands up in the air. "Jack!"
"Get absolutely destroyed, Viggo!" Steve shouted.
Jack aims his gun to the side and fires getting Viggo to flinch from the sound. "Where is he?" he demanded.
"Shit. . . " Viggo mutters while looking up at Jack before shouting, "SHIT!" The two men stare at one another for a long moment.
". . . I have your word then if I tell you where he is, you'll let me walk away?" Viggo asked.
"Wow. Just wow."
"I mean, Jack was going to find out sooner or later."
"Aye, might as well get it over with quickly."
Jack stares at him before saying, "Pull the contract."
Viggo glanced to the inside of his car, Avi was unconscious in the backseat. He looks back up at Jack and relents. "Done."
Jack slides off the car hood and keeps his gun trained on Viggo who keeps his hands raised. "He's kept in a safe house." he stated. "Brooklyn. 434 Wallace Place. They know you're coming."
"Of course," Jack said, unbothered. He lowers his gun. "But it won't matter."
With that said, he turns away and walks off. Viggo lowers his hands and looks back inside his car.
The scene changes to the safe house in Brooklyn with rock music playing. Someone is playing a shooter video game on a TV. The Audience see Hans sitting in a chair while smoking, his friend being the video game player. Hans sighs to himself while rubbing his eyes. Apparently he was on edge since the encounter he had in The Red Circle.
"Ha, someone seems to be on edge."
"Not so cocky now, are ya?"
Throughout the safe house and on multiple vantage points around it are henchmen on guard.
"Position 1, check in." A man speaks on the comms in Russian.
"Check," replied the guard standing in a high point.
"All positions stay ready." the lead guard said and the Audience see guards on the safe house rooftop.
Then the Audience see Viggo sitting by himself in his office and smoking a cigarette. He knows what is about to happen if it's not happening right this second. . . And he can't do anything to stop it.
"Position 2, check in." A man is shown with a sniper rifle at the window of the house. "Check."
Suddenly one of the sniper guards is pulled away from his post by the arms of a familiar someone.
Meanwhile, inside, Hans looks to his friend playing the video game. "Can you stop playing that fucking video game?" he asked impatiently.
"Oh what? Is the gunfire giving you Vietnam flashbacks?" Fred asked.
Quiet a few looked at him in confusion, especially the ones from the Viking age. What were these flashbacks of Vietnam that Fred is speaking of?
Back outside, the Audience see Jack Frost with the sniper rifle, the guard who held it was dead at his feet. "Position 3, check in."
"Check," Jack replies smoothly and he aims at the safe house window.
"Very clever." Daemon commented.
"And~. . ." Jinx said in a sing-song voice as she and Isha held up finger guns at the screen with matching smiles.
Inside, Hans was losing patience with his friend. "Will you stop playing that fucking video game?!" he shouts. His friend looks back at him before looking back at the TV screen.
"Pow," Jinx whispered.
BANG!
Jack fires at the gamer in the head and he drops down in his chair in slow motion.
"Well, he stopped playing the game, you happy now?" Baela snarked.
"No, I'm terrified." Hiccup shook his head mockingly.
Time slows to a crawl as Hans looks at his dead friend, his fearful exhale becomes the only thing the Audience can hear out of everything as he turns to look in the window's direction.
Jack aims at guards and begins shooting them down one by one.
One of the guards in the room gestures for Hans to get down on the floor. "Get down! Get down!" he shouts before he was shot in the head. Hans watches him drop with eyes filled with fear.
"Come on! Come on! Stay down!" Another guard runs to pick the young man up and ushers him out of the room.
The screen changes back to the smoking Viggo who still retains his hopeless and defeated expression.
And then the Audience see Jack walking casually with a detonator in hand. He presses his thumb down on the button and then the two getaway cars are shown exploding, killing most of the remaining guards that were inside the cars and setting those outside on fire.
In the background, the Audience see Hans and his remaining guard run down the stairs onto the scene. And then the guard is shot down. Hans runs to an alleyway between two large shipping crates and stops at a cross way, unsure where to run. He turns around and the Audience see Jack aiming a gun at him.
BANG!
Hans stumbles back and falls against one of the shipping crates, holding his stomach, his back to the Audience. Time slows down to a crawl as Jack calmly walks over to Hans, his jacket flapping lightly in the wind.
As the Baba Yaga raises his gun up, Hans tries to show defiance in his final moments. His final words being, "It's just a FUCKIN'-" Whether he's referring to the dog he killed or the car he stolen, the world may never know as Jack simply shoots him in the head before he could finish.
"Any last words?" Jinx asked mockingly before shaking her head at Hans' words. "On second thought, fuck no. No last words for you."
BANG!
"There we go," Elsa said. "For Olaf."
"For Olaf," Anna echoed.
"The punk got what he deserved," Eugene nodded his head in grim satisfaction.
"What do you think he was going to say?" Violet asked.
"Don't know, don't care." Wilbur retorted.
"Although, with what we've seen," Hiccup spoke up. "I wouldn't be surprised if he believed all of this was over the car he stole and not Olaf."
Jack then wordlessly turns around and walks away, his breathing being the only thing the Audience hears as the screen begins to fade away.
The scene changes to show Viggo as he lifts a phone to his ear. "Make the arrangements." was all he said before hanging up.
"Arrangements for the funeral for the son who got what he deserved?" Ruffnut asked.
"Probably." Fishlegs shrugged.
"Hopefully, that's all that means." Astrid said. "Otherwise, he might be planning something else."
Hiccup thought it over. "You know what, Astrid, you might be right." he said. Some people turned to him. "Neither he nor Jack really gave word for no retribution or formed peace between them."
The Continental is shown as Jack returns his room key to Heathcliff along with a gold coin. "Thanks," he said gruffly.
"Our pleasure, sir." Heathcliff replied before giving Jack a set of car keys. "A parting gift. From the management," he explained to Jack. "Compensation for last night's unfortunate. . . incident."
Jack nods, taking the keys and walks out of the hotel. There he and the Audience see a modernized black muscle car. A staff attendant helps him place the luggage in the trunk as Jack gives a gold coin to the man and goes to the driver seat. He looks around before closing the door and drives off.
"Well, it's not like the classic, but it'll do," Go Go commented.
The scene changes to the Brooklyn Bridge, under it Jack stands at a sidewalk that looks over the river. The Audience see E. Aster walking up to him. "How many times do I have to save your ass?" he asked Jack with a small chuckle.
Hiccup nodded. "Yeah, I did suspect that's what he was doing." he said. "That's why he first asked if the contract was open or not."
"And he did alert my counterpart about Cassandra," Jack said. "So, he was really looking out for me without knowing."
"I appreciate it," Jack replied wit a nod.
"Or maybe not." Jack corrected.
"Of course." Aster nods his head back. "You look terrible."
Jack shakes his head slightly. "No, I look retired."
"Retired? You really believe that?" E. Aster asked with a serious expression. Jack looks back at him before looking out to the river.
Unknown to the two of them, the two men are being watched by Cassandra who sits in her car, eyes narrowing at the scene before her.
"Oi, that can't be good."
"I had a feeling we'd be seeing her again."
"She doesn't look happy."
"The $4 million contract was pulled so she lost her chance and she's probably seeing the main reason why she wouldn't be getting paid."
The screen then focuses on Edward and Jack who stare out to the distance. "You made a new life," E. Aster noted, getting Jack to look at the Australian man. "You'll find your way back to it." He pats Jack on the shoulder. "It's time to go home." With that, he walks away.
That night, E. Aster walks home on the street before he notices that someone was following him. "Killing Strangers" starts playing in the background again. Then two more men in black suits arrived in front of him and at his sides. Then the door to his house opens up to reveal Avi.
"Oh no," Tooth said in a worried tone.
"Bunny," North murmured in a matching tone. Sandy formed some signs and images of sand to illustrate his worry.
Aster is escorted inside and there he takes off his jacket, places it on a chair and then takes off his watch and belt in a bowl before turning around to face the four men. "Let's get on with this, whatever the fuck this is." he said in annoyance.
"Hello, Edward."
E. Aster turns his head to the source of the voice off the screen as it zooms to his face.
"Cassandra must have tipped off Viggo about Edward's involvement." Otto High Tower said grimly
"He must know that he won't be able to lie about it," Alicent commented.
Jack is shown driving through the street before his phone rings. He answers it while keeping his eyes on the road. "This is Frost."
Viggo is shown sitting on some stairs in E. Aster's house. "I appreciate you granting my son a swift death."
Jack narrows his eyes in response. "I wouldn't know how to reply to that either."
Viggo is shown again. "Edward betrayed me."
In a flashback, the Audience see Viggo dipping his fist into a bowl of ice, they see a black widow spider tattooed on his hand. There are napkins stained with blood. He wipes his hands with a towel as he turns to face E. Aster who is bleeding from his nose and mouth profusely in his chair, face bruised.
The large humanoid rabbit grimaced at his counterpart's state while the Guardians grew worried for their friend.
"You pulled the contract," Edward muttered weakly.
"And while it was open, you had every chance," Viggo replies, holding an accusing finger as he paces in front of E. Aster. "Every opportunity to kill Jack Frost." Aster spits some blood out of his mouth while two of the guards hold him up by his arms. "And if you had done your job. . . My son would be still ALIVE!" He punches Edward in the face at the last word, causing blood to fly from his mouth as he recoils in pain.
Most of the villains felt that Edward was bringing this all on himself for not doing the job Viggo wanted him to.
"Well, the cycle of vengeance is continuing," Vander shook his head. "Jack killed Hans in revenge and now his father is aiming to kill Edward as revenge for his son."
"I feel like telling Jack about this is going to backfire." Caitlyn said.
"And in doing so, he broke the cardinal rule," Viggo says to Jack in the present. "So, Jack, I had no choice."
Back in the flashback, Cassandra enters the scene, giving Viggo a knife. "Thank you," he said and she smiles with a nod.
"Cassandra." E. Aster stated, not even shocked to see her. "Why am I not surprised?" Either he doesn't care at this point or there is too much pain in his face.
"In for a penny, in for a pound," Cassandra shrugged at the Australian man who spits a tooth out.
"I always liked you Edward," Viggo says as he walks over to Aster with the knife in hand. He holds the tip over Edward's knee. "The last of the Old Guard." Then he stabs Aster in the knee making the man scream in pain.
Cassandra leans in to watch and fakes a grimace, clearly enjoying it.
"But unlike the others, you go out on my terms," Viggo growls before he removes the knife from Edward's knee making the man scream more. As Viggo walks away, Aster shakes his head. "No! No!" he reaches to his knee when the guards let go of his arms.
Then Edward looks up with a glare. "No, my good sir. . . I go out on my own!" Then he elbows the guard on the left of him before kicking the other on his right before taking out their gun and shoots both guards down.
Before he could shoot at the others, Cassandra pulls out her own gun and shoots E. Aster twice in the chest. The older man stumbles back and falls down. Viggo gestures for everyone else to hold their fire and grabs the gun from Edward who smiles at him with blood stained teeth. "See?"
"Well, he went out in a blaze," Bunnymund said. "We can respect that."
"I think if Cassandra wasn't there, he would have lived," Jack said in a serious tone.
The Russian stares down and then shoots the Australian in the chest four times after the man closed his eyes. Viggo stares before raising his gun again and shoots him again until the gun runs out of bullets. After a moment, he nods his head. "Well played, old friend."
"But on the other hand, we can hope that Cassandra is going to get karma," Daenerys said. "She had broke The Continental rules, so that is going to come back and burn her."
In the present, Jack hangs up his phone and turns around and races back to the direction he came.
Viggo puts on his coat and his hat. "Are we done, Viggo?" Avi asked getting a nod in response. "We're done."
Avi then calls someone on his phone. "Yeah. Fuel the chopper."
Later, Jack arrives at the house and enters through the front door.
Cassandra watches him from the shadows before her phone rings. She answers. "Ms. Cassandra," speaks the voice of Heathfliff. "I apologize for calling so late at this hour."
Inside the house, Jack sees the two dead guards and Edward himself. His look of sadness looks forms over his cold expression. He then moves to sit down next to Edward's body. He looks at his face before glancing away.
The scene changed to show Cassandra walking in Central Park, under a walkway bridge, down some stairs. She pauses at the center as four men dressed in black walk out from behind the pillars and shadows, surrounding her. Cassandra looks around in confusion before the Audience see Agnarr walk out of the shadows of the bridge to her.
"Ms. Cassandra," Agnarr called to her, getting her attention even if she didn't look like she wanted to see him out of annoyance. The feeling was clearly very mutual. "Your membership to The Continental has been by thine own hand. . . revoked." he said nonchalantly mixed with a dramatic tone.
"Yep, there it is." Sevika said.
Cassandra watches him leave with confusion. Then before she could react, the four men around her aim a gun at her and shoot her dead. As she drops to the ground, Agnarr gives his tip of a gold coin to North who tips his hat when his crew arrive to clean up the dead body.
"Damn, that was cold," Scar commented.
"I have a feeling that she wasn't the first to break the rules," Ekko said.
"Strangely, I'm curious how this world operates," Vi stated. "Like, they have a workshop, a hotel used for safe havens and a cleaning service with some truce with the police force."
Jack suddenly gets another phone call as he is shown, still sitting next to his dead friend. "I know what you're thinking, Jackson." Agnarr's voice spoke on the phone. "We live by a code."
Agnarr is shown with his phone. "Which is why I am not the one telling you where a certain helicopter at a certain helipad is being fueld for a certain someone."
Jack gets the information and hangs up, knowing where he needs to go now.
"Well, thanks for your help," Jack said on his counterpart's behalf. "Now it's time to end this cycle of vengeance."
The scene changed to the shipyard from the beginning of the viewing. Two SUVs drive near a large droppoff to the docks. Viggo is in the backseat with Avi in front of him. "Do you have my cigarettes?" Viggo asked.
"Yeah, I got your cigarettes." Avi replied from the front. Then the Audience see Jack accelerating onto the scene behind them and quickly gaining ground.
"Go get him!" Tooth cheered.
"Yeah, get him, Jack!" North shouted.
"For Edward," Elsa whispered.
One of the guards notices the black car and asked in Russian, "Who is that behind us?" Viggo and the others noticed the black car.
"Well, it's not that hard to figure out," Ekko remarked.
"Oh fuck," Avi cursed as he realized who that was. "Yeah, super. Come on, let's go! Faster! The helicopter's right down there!" He said frantically. "Come on! Let's go!"
Jack then side rams his car against the rear of the second SUV twice before the car swerves to the side and off the edge and falls to the lower level of the shipyard. "Oh shit!" Avi exclaims while Viggo starts laughing hysterically. "God damn, I knew he'd come!"
Jack continues to chase them before ramming into the back of their SUV. Inside, the passengers all jolt from the impact. "The fuck's wrong with this guy?" Avi exclaimed. "Somebody give me a gun. Who's got a gun?"
Viggo continues to laugh to himself hysterically even when Jack rams their car again. "That was a good one."
"Well, he's having a laugh out of this."
". . . Maybe he wanted Jack to show up." Jinx said. "That's why he called him after killing Edward. He wants to die."
"Are you sure?" Vi asked.
"Trust me, I know when I'm looking at someone with a death wish." the blue haired woman replied grimly.
"Who's got a gun?" Avi asked frantically.
Jack then sees a line of small columns nearby up ahead. He then uses his car to push the Tarasov's car out of control until it side rams into one of the columns, the two left windows shatter at impact. Inside the SUV, Viggo turns to his remaining and shouts in Russian, "Go kill him!"
"Or at least go try." Ginormica said.
"Either that or just run while you have the chance." Jim remarked.
Inscetosaurus rumbled at the screen. Good luck, they're going to need it.
The four men run out with guns while Jack reverse drives his car to them as they begin firing at him. Jack ducks down while his rear window shatters. The car then rams a man, sending him rolling across the roof of the car. With practiced ease, Jack aims his gun at the roof and shoots the man through his roof as he rolls off the car three times.
"Wow, clever."
"Nice."
"Perfectly aimed there."
The other men continue to fire at him and Jack drives over to them and steers his car in a hard turn that the front slams into one man like a massive ram and knocks him off his feet. Jack holds his gun out the window and shoots the man down mercilessly.
The screen then focuses on the SUV. "Viggo, the helicopter, it's right over there." Avi said, grimacing from the earlier crash and pointing to the direction of the helipad. "We have to get over there!"
One of the thugs stands close to the SUV while shooting in Jack's direction until he runs out of ammo. As he tries to reload, Jack drives back to him at full speed and rams into the door the man was hiding behind, crushing the man's legs and causing the car to shake upon impact. "Ah fuck!" Avi exclaims from the impact.
The last gunner takes cover behind a concrete divider, but Jack drifts around the man while shooting the man down before he could react. Now all that was left is Avi and Viggo.
"I need a gun." Avi said looking around, not seeing that Viggo was holding one out to him while he had a cigarette in his mouth. Viggo says something in Russian to get Avi's attention. Avi reaches for it but Viggo pulls the gun away from him twice in a playful manner. When Avi grabs the gun, he has forcefully pull it out of his boss's hand.
"English, please!" Avi said in annoyance.
"GOOD LUCK," Viggo said, the two words appearing as subtitles and highlighted.
"You're going to need it."
"True that."
"Russian cocksucker." Avi spat angrily as he crawls out the driver door only to trip on his way out. He scrambles to his feet before running off to the helipad.
Quite a few members of the Audience chuckled at Avi's antics.
The Audience then see Jack coming to a stop and looks around for anymore enemies before a bullet hits his car beneath the window.
Avi is shown to be the one, gun in hand. He smirks and laughs to himself proudly.
"Dude, what?"
"You didn't even hit him, you just dented his car."
"Maybe it's the fact he almost did he was proud of it."
"But he just left himself open for Jack's retaliation."
Jack quickly aims at him and shoots him in the leg, causing him to drop to his knees. Jack then starts driving to him, picking up speed.
Avi looks up and sees the car headlights in front of him. "No!" he shouts, raising his hands up. Jack makes a sharp turn before slamming the right side of his car into Avi, the window shatters as the upper part of Avi falls in the window. Jack looks at him as Avi groans in pain before falling down to the ground.
"Okay, well, I'd say he'll live."
Just then Jack's side of the car is rammed by the SUV, the Audience see that Viggo is the driver. And Jack sees this as well. He aims and shoots, but the Russian crime boss leans and ducks, avoiding getting shot.
"Nevermind. He's dead now."
"If he survived that, he'll be praying to die."
Jack then sees that his car was getting shoved to the edge of the shipyard dock. He gets out of his seat and climbs to the shattered back window. He then jumps out and lands on the pavement just as the car is pushed off the edge and crashes down on the lower level.
Elsa sighed in relief.
"That was close," Jack remarked.
Gritting his teeth, Jack lifts his head as rain begins pouring down in drenches. He runs over to the SUV, gun in hand but there's no one else.
The answer came when both Jack and the Audience see Viggo standing on the dock that leads to the helipad. The helicopter is heard preparing for take off but the Russian makes no move to flee. He simply glares at Jack.
"Huh. For an old man he sure moved fast." Jinx commented.
The Audience then see Jack walking on the dock as the Baba Yaga and the Audience hear Viggo speak to him. "No more guns, Jack." The two men now stand across from each other. "No more bullets!"
"No more bullets," Jack complies as he tosses his gun to the side.
The two then circle each other like wolves, ignoring the pouring onslaught of heavy rain. Viggo shakes his head bitterly. "Just you and me, Jack."
"You and me." Jack replied in a cold tone. Then they both enter a fighting stance.
"Put up your dukes."
"Ha, a good ol' fist fight." Vi said with a smile.
"One on one," Fred said. "This shall be the final showdown."
"Two men enter," Hiro said dramatically. "One man leaves. Fighters ready?. . . Fight!"
They stare at one another before Viggo suddenly shouts, spreading his arms out in an intimidating manner that gets Jack to flinch a little before swinging his arms out to Jack who leans back and dodges each fist swung at him. Jack then blocks one jab before countering with his own. Thunder boomed in the sky above as Jack and Viggo move around before Jack punches Viggo twice in the chest.
Whether he was toying with the Russian or he was just respecting their old past friendship, Jack doesn't go all out on Viggo before he pins the older man to one of the piles of shipping boxes with his arm on Viggo's neck.
"What happened, Jack?" Viggo asked under his breath. "We were professionals, civilized."
"Your son killed my dog, stole my car," Jack began with narrowed eyes. "And you killed a close friend, and you're expecting me to be civilized about it?"
Jack glares at him. "Do I look civilized to you?" he growled before punching Viggo in the face and then lifting the larger man onto his shoulders and then throwing him onto the ground.
Viggo holds a hand out up to Jack as he gets up groggily while the snow white haired man just stands still. But then Viggo pulls out a knife.
"Oh come on!"
"Seriously?"
"No guns and bullets, but knives are acceptable?"
"Be careful, Jack!" Elsa called out.
Unlike Elsa and others in the Audience, Jack onscreen looks unbothered that the older man had just pulled out the knife. Instead, he just tilts his head slightly.
". . . Oh, well, I guess we shouldn't be concerned." Jayce said.
"I suppose," Mel said.
Viggo swings the knife after charging but Jack dodges and moves around him. Viggo repeats the attack in a stabbing move only for Jack to catch his wrist with both hands. Viggo punches him twice while trying to overpower Jack's arms.
Jack looks at the knife and his stomach before actually pulling the hand to his stomach and stabbed himself, right where he was stabbed and stitched a day prior.
"Jack!" many cried out in concern.
"What the Hel was that lad thinking?!"
"Why stab himself like that?"
Ekko furrowed his brows. "Hold the phone, he stabbed the knife where his old wound was," he stated after a moment's thought. "Reopening an old wound would be risky, but manageable."
Jack yells in pain from the action but he keeps his grip on Viggo's arm before breaking the Russian's arm and causing Viggo to scream in pain. But Viggo throws a punch to Jack's face, causing the snow white haired man to stagger back.
"Okay, that was clever." Anna said. "Risky, but clever."
Jack pulls the knife out of his stomach before blocking Viggo's left fist and then stabbing the blade deep where Viggo's neck meets his collar bone. Viggo cries out in pain before punching Jack in the face. The two men fall down on opposite sides of the dock.
"Ooh!"
"Dang!"
"Damn."
"Well, good work, Jack."
Elsa crossed her arms briefly. That was a bit unnecessary if you ask her.
Jack clutches at his bleeding stomach, breathing heavily while Viggo wheezes across from him. "Be seeing you, Jack." he said weakly.
". . . Yeah, be seeing you." Jack replies with a nod. The Audience then see Viggo lowering his head and stops breathing before Jack pushes himself to stand up and limb away. His face becomes the main focus as he walks away.
"It's over," Merida whispered.
There is no victorious smile or anything like that on his face or in his eyes. Just an emptiness.
"In time, killing can become easy as breathing," Gojira said. "And for Jack Frost, both Hans and Viggo had pushed him past the point of feeling anything."
And then the screen goes black.
And then the screen lights up to show the scene at the beginning of the viewing, the crashed SUV and Jack on the ground, losing consciousness. Maybe this is it . . . After all these years, this is how Jack Frost, the Baba Yaga, one of New York's legendary hit man, dies. Bleeding to death in a dark alley.
"So that's how he got there," Eugene said in realization.
"That explains the beginning," Queen Iduna commented in sympathy.
"Is he going to die?" Rapunzel asked in concern.
"No," Elsa shook her head at her. "He's going to be fine."
But then, Elsa's voice speaks on the video playing on his phone in his hand. "Come on, Jack." She said softly. "Let's go home."
Elsa nodded in agreement with her counterpart. "It's not your time yet," she whispered.
Jack's eyes shift before opening. No. No, he's not dying tonight. He forces himself to stand on shaky legs before making his way to the back entrance of the building he had drove up to.
Most of the teens sighed in relief as did the Guardians.
The Audience see him elbowing the small window on the door, shattering the glass and then reaching through the broken window and then opening the door. He staggers down the hall before coming into a large room.
Whining, barking and whimpers are heard out of view as Jack moves to a compartment and then pulls out a bottle of rubbing alcohol or iodine and pours it on his bleeding wound, making him grit his teeth.
Jack then takes some napkins to clean his stomach before taking out a clipper stapler and uses it to stitch his wound closed again, causing him to grunt in pain at the action three times before he almost falls down but catches himself on a table. Breathing heavily, Jack then hears the whining, whimpering and barking. He looks up and the Audience see that he was inside a dog pound/animal shelter.
Quiet a few Audience members grimaced, winced or squirmed at seeing Jack stitch himself together as he did so.
Jack's eyes then land on a black fur Pit bull dog staring at him. Jack's cold blue eyes then fill with warmth and softness as he makes his way to the cage and kneels down and opens the door. The dog pokes its head out hesitantly. "It's okay." Jack whispered tenderly as he rubbed the dog's head with his hands.
Penny cooed but then she saw something else on the dog's cage door.
"What?" Hiro asked her.
"The dog is meant to be put down in the morning," Penny whispered to him. "It says it right there on the clipboard attached to the cage door."
"Let's go home."
Penny smiles again. They end up saving each other.
And then the Audience see Jack walking with his new dog on a leash, and that they're walking on the same sidewalk his wife had collapsed during their anniversary.
Many children cooed and 'awww'd at seeing Jack seeing the dog walk alongside Jack Frost.
The screen then shows aerial shots of New York City before it fades to black.
"So, is that it?" Hiccup asked.
"Oh no, Jack Frost's story does not end here," Gojira replied. "Tell you what, our next viewing will be what the modern people call, a trailer for what is going to happen next."
"Well, okay, I'm curious to see what happens next." Hiccup shrugged.
Jack shrugged. "I honestly like this viewing, it has an interesting story."
Wow, that took a while, but thankfully, owning a copy of the movie along with Cosmo-Writer42 having written a RWBY reaction to John Wick full movie made writing this chapter a bit more easier.
Casting Olaf as Daisy in this viewing may have been well, twisted, but I wanted an emotional reaction from Elsa and Anna. And after re-watching Olaf's Frozen Adventure and its ending, I thought it would be fitting.
Now, I thought of making Pitch Black/the Boogeyman as Viggo Tarasov but decided that if Pitch was going to be a villain/antagonist in these viewings, particularly this franchise, he deserved to be like the final boss. For those who watch the John Wick franchise, you can think of the same characters I'm thinking of for Pitch Black.
As for Hans being casted as Iosef (Pronounced Yo-sef for those who haven't watched the John Wick movies) that serves as a bit of a warning for Anna in the future so she doesn't fall for him. And remember, the Arendelle royal family were taken before the deaths of King Agnarr and Queen Iduna.
And I was thinking of casting Snotlout to be Iosef but ultimately changed my mind. Snotlout may be a bully, but I doubt he would kill someone's dog.
Also, I was thinking of having it be implied that Hans' 12 older brothers exist in the John Wick universe here but decided against it.
I do apologize for casting Cassandra from the Tangled Animated Series as Perkins from John Wick if that offends any of her fans but I just remembered how she did have a temporary role as the series' antagonist and just thought she'd fit the role of being Perkins.
(For those who have watched the series) Benzo from the Arcane series as The Continental's Doctor was just a casual choice I made on the fly but I thought it was well played and that I did the reactions justice.
And I admit, I feel like I did Lucius/Frozone from The Incredibles dirty introducing him as Harry in John Wick only to kill him off by Cassandra. (Sorry, Frozone!) At least he's avenged by Agnarr who shows the Audience why you don't break the rules of The Continentals.
And for those who haven't watched the John Wick series, (Looking at you DJ.) REMEMBER THAT RULE. IT IS IMPORTANT IN THE SEQUEL!
And I do feel the same in regards to introducing E. Aster Bunnymund as Marcus and then killing off his John Wick counterpart but at least it starts lowering the tensions between Jack and Bunny in the Audience.
Now then, the next chapter will be a trailer reaction for John Wick Chapter 2.
After that, I'm thinking of a reaction to a motivational video made by a YouTube channel featuring John Wick as the speaker.
After that, I've decided to have a reaction to a YouTube comic dub video featuring Bolt as Big Jack. If you know who I'm talking about, you know what to expect.
And then, the next full movie reaction is going to be Godzilla Minus One.
Who should be the main cast in that viewing?
Big Hero Six (Which would be fitting since their hometown is a mixture of San Fransico and Tokyo.)
Or
Arcane? (Just to give them the spotlight.)
Until then
Take care of yourselves.
Enjoy what I write.
