To everyone's surprise, the fairy tail dream team for the Grand Magic Games comprises Natsu, Alzack, Lucien, Laki, and Ur. Their one backup member goes to Kageyama.
The three young slayers weren't happy about being looked over for the games. They wanted to use the opportunity to show everyone what they were made of.
In addition to Macao and the six members, the four dragon slayers plus exceeds, along with Bisca, Ultear, Kinans, Charon, and the kids, are attending this year's games.
Before they knew it, the games were three days away, and the wizards boarded the train and headed to the capital.
"This year marks the third Grand Magic Games and the second one we've participated in," Natsu says off-handedly.
"Yep, hopefully, we will win this year, unlike last time," Macao added.
"Hey, Mermaid, he'll put up a hell of a fight to inch ahead of us."

Before they knew it, They entered the capital before finding their lodge.
The games will last a whole week. Fairy tail effortlessly made the final eight teams.
The other team to make it are Mermaid Heel, Blue Pegasus, Quatro Cerberus, Lamia Scale, Sabertooth, and two guilds, Natsu, who are only head in passing Crescent Tiger and Cobra Shadow.
Natsu made it a point to keep an eye on them since Raven Tail is no longer in business.
But his focus for time binging is on Blue Pegasus wanting to know how Flare is adapting to life as a legal guild mage.
The second day's event is your typical obstacle course, with Fairy tail pulling just ahead of Quatro Cerberus and Mermaid Heel tailing behind in Third place.
The third day's event was a sports festival where they had to use magic to enhance their physical capabilities. The final sport was baseball. Blue Pegasus consistently hit home run after Home run, thanks to Flare hair magic.
The fourth day was a break for everyone to relax and enjoy the city. Natsu, Ultear, their son, Happy, and Obra took full advantage of the sights.
They didn't hesitate to enjoy one of the many restaurants in the city. The small group saw Wendy and Charon going on a date. Not too far away are Sting And Rogue, with the three exceeds who can only sit patiently for the two to finish.
Natsu and Ultear chuckled at the twin slayer's misfortune of having to wait on their teammate. Once the small family finished their meal, they headed to Blue Pegasus to see how Flare was fairing.
Just as they rounded the corner to Blue Pegasus Lodge, they saw Master Bob waving to them.
"We came to check on Flare Master Bob!" Natsu said.
Before the master of blue pegasus could respond, a loud noise could be heard inside the lodge. Bob led them inside to Ibiki and Eve, restrained by Flares Hair magic, with Ichiya frozen in fear. As for Ren, he's cringing as his teammate's misfortune with Sherry beside him.
Using her hair, Flare threw them to the other side of the room as she looked away in disgust. The fairy tail mages look to Bob for answers.
"She is not a fan of their antics, especially when they put the moves on her. Now, every time she catches them, she takes it upon herself to punish them, hoping they drop their behavior." The fairy tail mages nod at this.
That is when she saw the small family. Her mood did a complete 180 as she ran towards them. She gave Ultear a hug, then Leo, and, lastly, Natsu.
"We came to see how you are faring in Blue Pegasus!" Natsu informed me.
She went on a rant going over her adventure with Blue Pegasus.
Next on their list was Mermaid Heel. They wanted to see how millianna was doing.
They found themselves in the main hall, with Natsu sitting on the couch alone with Obra and Happy. The mages in mermaid heels were all over Ultear and Leo, each wanting to hold the young boy.
Millianna, the mage they came to see, sat beside him as they sat there.
"We wanted to check in on you!" he said as he sipped the drink she had given him.
His ear perked up when he heard the familiar sound Leo makes when he's hungry. All the girls let out a squeal when they saw Ultear breastfeeding Leo. The display of a mother and her child brought a welcome change in the atmosphere. Once he was finished, he started rubbing his eyes before falling asleep in her arms. Needing a break from holding him, Ultear handed Leo to his father.
The young mother sat beside him, resting her head on his shoulder, needing much-needed rest.
Natsu has no complaints about holding his sleeping son. Leo instinctively gets closer to Natsu, taking full advantage of his natural warmth.
"Millianna, who is this?" A new voice said loud enough to stir Leo from his nap. Natsu recognized the voice as Kagura before glaring at her with his red eyes as he rocked Leo back to sleep.
"Sorry!" she squealed, taking a spot next to Millianna. She noticed that the borderline toddler resembled Natsu.
"Kagura, this is Natsu, Ultear and their son Leo."
"Hello"
"Back at ya," he said in a hushed tone as Leo slept peacefully in his father's arms.
Making sure not to speak too loud, the group of four exchanged words back and forth until they reached the topic of her brother.
"Where is Simon anyway? I figured he would be here?"
"He was, but he left since he's working with Seigrain dealing with the Dark Guild," Millianna informed.
"Was hoping to see him again after all these years; he wanted to see you too. I'll have to remind him to visit Fairy Tail after the games.
Natsu and Ultear stay with Mermaid Heel for a few more hours before calling it a day.
Ultear gave Leo a quick bath and a fresh diaper before placing him between her and Natsu.
Happy and Obra found their spots below Leo in between Natsu and Ultear.
The remaining few days passed in the blink of an eye, with a fairy tail barely nudging head to victory.
The train ride home was quiet, thanks to three little ones napping peacefully in their parent's arms.
When they finally made it home, the party started.
Obra is the master of deception, can effortlessly drain wizards of their magic energy, and has overcome countless obstacles in his life.
This current obstacle pales in comparison to them. It's not being on his best behavior under Natsu's watch, but worse, Leo decided Obra would be his new best friend. The proof was the young boy hugging him fiercely in his sleep, making it impossible for him to weasel his way out of this.
He has no choice but to wait till Leo lets him go or wakes up since he doesn't smell a payload in his diaper. Then he hears movement from Natsu's bed. Looking towards the bed, he sees the fire dragon slayer wake up with his wife beside him.
Natsu stumbles towards Leo's crib, only to chuckle at Obras' predicament. Ultear hears his chuckle. Walking over, she giggles, seeing Obra in Leo's grasp. They stand there for a whole minute, trying to hold their laughter at Obra's misfortune.
This is when Leo finally opened his eyes, letting go of Obra. Ultear picked him up, getting him ready for that day. Natsu, seeing Obra getting his wits together, was amused.
Not long after the family of three was ready for the day, Happy and Obra took their spots on Natsu's shoulders.
When they made it to the guild, they were in for a welcome surprise to see Ur and Gildart finally making it official as a couple.
I have ZERO intention of going into detail about all GMG throughout the remaining seven years.
I'm still debating if I should go into detail about the X791 games since that, in my experience, kills a lot of fics.
