The swirl of leaves darkened her vision and Weiss felt something akin to vertigo for no more than a second. When she regained her sense of place, the surrounding scenery had completely changed, becoming some kind of unknown forest to frighten her with the possible meaning of it.

However, that seemed irrelevant when compared to what was about to happen before her!

Blake couldn't take it anymore. Her gasping for breath, heart rate to the limit, and heat that wouldn't diminish, only worsened to leave her all sweaty...

Hugging Sasuke wasn't enough to calm her, not with the power she could feel pulsing like magma from a volcano under his skin and intoxicating smells being exhaled, pushing her instincts to the limit to bring out unimaginable desires!

Before she knew it, her self-control suddenly died and she thought of nothing else as she tried to take his lips and everything!

Sasuke, though tempted, was unwilling to share in this girl's predatory lust.

Letting her hug him was one thing, kind of making up for what he did to her earlier in the bookstore. Now, trying to kiss him and do what only Hagoromo knows what else?

Regardless of which girl it was, she would have to be more than pretty to remotely have a chance of having him that way.

In the blink of an eye, he was safe and sound. Weiss, on the other hand, that was rushing to save him... not so much.

For a moment, there was a flash of repressed memory with his first kiss, where it not only happened with someone of the same gender, but with someone he almost hated and didn't want to have any contact with.

Seeing Blake practically stick her tongue in the mouth of a shocked Weiss didn't help, almost making him feel bad for using his Rinnegan to switch places with the girl; almost.

Yet strangely, he had no desire to try and stop what was happening in front of him, more interested in continuing to watch... not for some vulgar reason, probably, but because it helped achieve what he wanted by bringing these two into this place.

Now all he had to do was wait before making his next move.

As for Weiss, the victim of this ongoing evil scheme, her mind was in chaos!

At first, she was trying to stop a tragedy from happening, in many ways. Sasuke could literally kill Blake if he wanted to, not that she believed he would have gone that far, but in the end, the undeniable truth was that she didn't really know him or what he was capable of. Besides, there was no way she was going to let a forced kiss happen with the boy who had gained her attention! So, in a second moment, the kiss Blake wanted so badly, happened, except not with the one she wanted.

Weiss was where Sasuke was supposed to be and having her first kiss, by force!

She wanted to think about how she got there, about this new ability that could only be described as teleportation that Sasuke had, and the miserable fate he condemned her to escape. Only, she couldn't, not with this girl's tongue inside her mouth!

Her mind was floating for more reasons than she dared think about it, doing everything she could to escape the claws of this lustful beast!

"L-let me go!" she managed to utter between kisses that didn't seem even close to ending, but when the hand that kept her from escaping tried to descend below her waist, she had enough! "I said to let me go!"

A Glyph flashed between them and a repulsive wave forcibly separated them!

Blake came to her senses just in time to see the icy eyes and flushed face of the girl whose mouth was glued to hers, nowhere near being the one who had aroused all this!

She had kissed a Schnee! The princess of that cursed family, no less!

Not even the manifested Glyph could frighten her more than this disturbing fact.

The two fell away and Weiss was on her feet and shaking with rage so fast it was surprising.

"You!" She created another Glyph and her weapon was drawn back into her hand without even being aware of it. "You pervert!" Boiling with the memory and the taste of...fish?in her mouth, she wanted to turn this cat in heat into an ice cube! "That..." she was blushing, for good reason, as she shouted! "was my first kiss!"

A statement that she considered embarrassing because she knew that girls her age did much more... not that she wanted to, but at least the experience of a kiss was something that every teenager should experience and this opportunity was taken from her!

Hearing that and to be honest, Sasuke would rather have never kissed anyone than go through what happened to him, understanding Weiss' anger.

"I-I" Blake was still on the ground, doing everything she could to put herself together and understand what she had just done! "I'm sorry!"

Weiss stopped in her vengeful steps, being surprised at how lost and confused this girl looked, deciding to wait and listen.

"What happened?" she would try to understand first, then depending on what this girl said, she would make her regret it! "Why did you hug Sasuke like that and try to kiss him?" one thing crossed her mind and her eyes narrowed. "Don't tell me you're one of those girls who..."

"No!" Blake might be in a bad state, but she wouldn't let anyone call her a slut! "I'm a virgin, you stupid princess!"

She might have sort of dated Adam, but it never got that far, especially after he started killing humans and being proud of it!

Nobody said anything, especially Sasuke. Where he was from, it was common for good girls to remain pure until their marriages, something even valid for Kunoichis when they weren't active in the field of seduction. He's not sure, but even Karin, with all her enthusiasm, was a virgin.

Weiss calmed down for good, being able to relate a little, but still not understanding what resulted in all that.

"My body... just moved on its own," Blake felt like crap, not understanding how her instincts managed to control her to that point and focus on the cause to get her heart beating faster again. "It's almost as if..." she swallowed dryly, having to bite her lip as her ears perked up, "my body chose you!"

That's almost as bad! Weiss reddened again, outraged at how easily something so vulgar could be said! What about Sasuke?

Inevitably, she worried about his answer. As much as Weiss hated to admit it, Blake was attractive and obviously desirable. Though he was almost a god in power, Sasuke was still a teenager, at least in appearance, and could be tempted by this sin in cat-girl form.

Convenient, contrary to Weiss's concern, Sasuke had this as a very different opportunity than what a hormonal boy would have upon seeing desire glow in the amber of those eyes. Although, this could be kind of problematic.

That reaction was stronger than that of a typical fangirl, surely influenced by her animalistic side as a faunus, choosing him as alpha, or something like that?

Dealing with Blake would be a kind of contradiction.

While it would be easier to control her, it would be difficult to keep her in control.

"Is that why you came looking for me?" Sasuke didn't care about the reason, not really. "Weiss and Ruby, I understand why the two of them would come to me, including Yang, most likely being dragged along with her sister, yet intent on protecting her." Then he focused on the faunus girl. "You, however... after all that happened earlier, I didn't expect to see you again. Even so, here you are."

The calmness and almost indifference showed by him made Weiss calm down and just listen, aware that Blake knew as much as she did about Sasuke, but nothing about how they met, only that there was a clear negative opinion of this girl towards him at first.

"I just wanted to apologize for what I did..." Blake took a deep breath, somehow keeping herself in control to finally stand up but unable to look into that pair of incompatible eyes. How can this be so difficult?!

Stealing trains from this little princess's family was so much easier than keeping herself composed in the presence of this guy!

Stupid body! She could feel the heat rising again by just having him around, staring at her like that! Stupid hormones!

As for the other girl present, Weiss, she just watched and drew not very pleasant conclusions about this conversation.

What had she done? She imagined the same scene as now repeating itself and gave reason to Sasuke's question. At the same time, she also remembered why Sasuke had gone to the hospital earlier. That... can't be, right?

Blake was relatively strong for a Huntress in training, but to be able to hurt him? That should not be possible. However, it was undeniable that someone could do it, and that someone was a woman.

Unless... Weiss tightened the grip on her weapon, beginning to cool her gaze as possibilities arose as she remembered Blake's implied threat when they first met, demanding more information about Sasuke when he was scaring the entire kingdom with his Aura; Oppressing other faunus.

"Apologize, you say." Sasuke approached this girl, taking deliberately slow steps to make her condition worse. Maybe not that convenient. If it continued like this, she would have no use for him, except for the way Weiss was reacting, coming to conclusions that a smart person could by putting the pieces of this puzzle made of lies together and only needed one more push for what he wanted to come to pass. "For what? Trying to kill me?"

Blake opened her eyes wide and saw this boy she wanted more than anything in the world flash a twisted smile for a second before her whole body screamed danger and drew her sword!

Not out of heartfelt fear, which overcame her lust, but to stop the attack of a bloodthirsty Schnee!

Sparks flew with the shock of the Aura-enhanced metal, and Sasuke silently walked away to the top of a tree, where he could enjoy the Show without distracting them.

Now, he kept his smile, more than pleased that this had worked out the way he wanted it to, show me what you two are capable of; if you have what it takes to walk beside me and assist me in combat against a goddess!

"So it was you!" Weiss felt as stupid as she was angry! How did she allow herself to believe that things could be different?! "I should have known..." yes, history was there for a reason; to remember what happened once and could be repeated again, "that only a faunus would do something so despicable!"

Blake almost cracked under the pressure when she heard what this girl said and saw that human hatred against her on the face of someone who represented the family that did the most harm to the faunus in the world.

Confusion gave way to anger at feeling like an idiot for even remotely thinking that she could change; that getting along with this girl was possible and making the world a better place.

Reality was right in front of her, shining in hatred in the icy blue of this Schnee's eyes.

Making all carnal desire set aside in the face of provocation, Blake couldn't keep quiet!

"Like you're one to talk!" She clenched her teeth, returning that hateful look as she used her other hand to increase the force on her sword to match the pressure put on her by this princess, resulting in even more friction. "Not when you're a member of that family!"

"What is that supposed to mean?" Weiss didn't budge, keeping her ground as she knew what this damned girl was getting at. "What does that have to do with what you did?!"

"It has everything to do with it!" Blake shouted and made Weiss almost fly away from her, stunned at her sudden increase in brute strength, an attribute of her heritage so hated by humans. "That you and your family of slaveholders should just shut up and stay out of what you don't understand!"

Weiss was quick to recover, not letting defeat in a physical contest intimidate her. After all, her strength lay in her methodical control of Aura, Semblance, and advanced use of Dust!

"Of course," Weiss slid her finger over her weapon and made it glow as she channeled Aura and Dust before raising it to manifest several of her Glyphs in the form of snowflakes, a symbol of her family and heritage so hated by faunus. "Because an assassin coming from an organization of terrorists can do as she pleases!"

Ice stakes rained down on Blake and her Semblance, Shadow, also showed itself by leaving copies of her to receive the attacks she couldn't dodge on her own and be launched in the direction that proved to be safest. Without hesitation, from a suitable position, she turns her Gambol Shroud into a Kusarigama, a small scythe attached to a flexible sash, and tries to shut this damned princess up!

"White Fang is not a terrorist organization!" She managed to get the ice to stop being thrown at her, knocking this little Schnee off her pedestal. "Very different from your family!"

Taking her distance, Weiss regained her battle position immediately and more reason to keep fighting; reason not to hesitate to use full force!

"So you are a member!" Of course she was! Weiss was a fool not to cogitate this undeniable fact. Deep down, all the faunus supported those terrorists and their despicable actions! "I don't even know why I'm surprised." Then her expression hardened as to the accusations being made. "And as I said before, little terrorist, my family has no slaves!"

A Glyph lit up under her feet to give her more momentum and Weiss met Blake halfway, crossing swords again.

"That's what you say, but what about what countless other faunus have to say?!" Blake dashed off with her Semblance and fired a burst of bullets to which the princess jumped out of the way with that cursed symbol, but she wouldn't let her get away! "What about Adam and his face branded with a hot iron with your family logo?!"

Weiss channeled Dust again and fire made itself present in a surrounding wave, fending off that assault and attacking at the same time to hit an ice copy of Blake and keep the flames from hitting her.

Fire remained burning all around, lighting up this forest where only the ice spread around prevented a wildfire from happening.

These flames, however, could not compare to those of the growing hatred within these two.

"I don't know about any of that!" Weiss refused to believe these accusations, that that man she used to call father, as bad as he was, would stoop to such an inhuman level, even more so when the dubious information came from this girl who stooped so low as to try to kill Sasuke because she was rejected! "That's because the actions of some employees do not reflect the will of my family!"

"Then how can you say the opposite about White Fang?!" Blake switched the clip on her weapon, loading it with more Dust this time because she was already seeing that this wasn't going to end without one of them on the ground!

"Because it's the truth!" Weiss also had her Myrtenaster ready at the same time as this criminal!

"You lie!" Blake didn't want to hear any more of this!

"Prove it!" Weiss responded accordingly, starting another friction, this time going all out with the intention of subduing this criminal and bringing her to justice!

This discussion only grew more heated as the clash between them worsened, and Sasuke was pleasantly surprised by this unexpected development. When he brought these two to this isolated place, his idea was just to create a misunderstanding and have them fight so that he could evaluate their abilities in general. As a last resort, if this didn't work, he would find a way to get the information by confronting them personally, just as he had done with Ruby and Yang, but with a reasonable request, perhaps even telling them the truth that could be understood given how little they knew about him.

What he got, however, was a personal and emotional fight between girls he thought were friends or at least acquaintances for a moment, considering that they were together when they appeared to see him at the top of that building. Inevitably, these two reminded him of himself and Naruto when they fought in the Valley of the End. The motive certainly differed and the power used was vastly inferior, but not the intensity of emotion wielded by each of them.

Just as his Chakra expressed his negativity to the extreme, the Aura of these two was no different.

There was hatred based on what one held as truth against the other. At the same time, they knew the rotten side of what they were defending, preferring to live in the illusion that it wasn't so bad or simply ignore it by rejecting that reality, which inevitably led to the fear that went hand in hand with that hatred.

Denial was the best way to describe it all.

Understandable, as he also refused to believe that his entire life was a lie; that Itachi wasn't the absolute evil in the world when Tobi told him the truth.

For each of these girls, what the other represented and defended was the wrong side of that coin.

In the end, the disagreement between races is real, Sasuke felt some frustration, even if he tried to contain it, arise within him. How do solve a problem like that?

Not one answer was coming to his mind, as he knew almost nothing about what the focal point of this conflict was, with the exception of this Schnee family and White Fang who certainly had some blame in all this.

In the end, he learned more than the fighting ability of these two; about the racial conflict that existed to weaken the population of this world and explain why the Grimm were slowly winning the war over the years.

Disappointing, Sasuke shook his head, understanding better the reaction the first Hokage had right after being resurrected and finding out that yet another war was happening. So this must be the reality for those seeking peace.

Knowing that no matter what you did and sacrificed, the result would always be the same... unless extreme measures were taken, further explained Madara's absurd plan with Mugen Tsukuyomi and even justified his own revolution, however flawed those ideas might be.

Except... if even Sasuke, someone consumed by hatred, could see some light amidst the darkness, it meant that not all was lost.

Things could change.

For example, these two girls, whose fight was still ongoing and could result in death if it continued, were afraid that they were wrong; that what they were defending really was as bad as others believe it to be. However, what they didn't know was that if the truth came out, after the shock and denial, if they overcame the resulting emotions, inevitably would come acceptance and change, hopefully for the better.

If Sasuke of all people could do that, then anyone could...of course, not without some turbulence in the process, but hopefully nothing too drastic.

I think that is enough. Sasuke had seen more of these two than he needed to, where the fight wouldn't go on much longer before one of them actually ended up dying. With the Aura that protected them being depleted, the fight left everything else aside to become exclusively physical with swords resulting in torn and bloodied clothes, disheveled hair, and wounds marking the previously perfect skin they had as they continued to fight with no signs of giving up. Really, they look like me and that idiot in more ways than I would like to admit...

Naruto would have died if he lost before Sasuke had a change of heart and decided not to follow in his brother's corrupted footsteps. Likewise, Sasuke's life would end if he lost to Naruto, probably being imprisoned for the rest of his life for his treachery.

Losing was not an option, or their lives would end.

Weiss believed that she would die if she lost.

Blake believed that she would be imprisoned if she lost.

This could not happen; no one would voluntarily subject themselves to such a fate.

Both of them were on the edge, hatefully acknowledging the other's strength and tenacity. In the end, however, it didn't matter!

"You will fall, slaveholder!" Blake gathered what was left in her and put it all into one last push that would result in a different fate from those who oppose this family!

"Not before I put you in a cell, terrorist!" Weiss had been beyond her limit for some time, persevering only with her willpower to not be another one of her family to fall to one of these White Fang!

They advanced at the same time, risking everything as they wielded their weapons; their last strength, emotions, and fears!

With one last war cry, rapier and Katana, Myrtenaster and Gambol Shroud, Schnee and faunus, Weiss and Blake clashed to make the metal echo loudly as sparks obscured their visions, resulting in a moment of disorientation. The clashing weapons lost strength and slid past each other and continued on their way against the bodies of their targets.

Realizing this fact made all that ferocity and anger give way to fear of what was about to happen.

They were going to kill each other!

Blake and Weiss felt cold as their hearts hit their throats. Not only did they not want to die, but they also didn't want to become murderers!

Fortunately, just in time, their weapons disappeared so that one hit the other harmlessly, bringing them straight to the ground in each other's arms.

"You two can stop now," Sasuke said as he approached, holding in his hands a pair of this world's weapons, where this time he understood how they worked, but which were of little use without that Dust that was totally spent in this fight to decorate the local scenery with elements of all sorts and shapes. "There's no more reason to continue this fight."

The two turned their attention away from him and looked at each other, face to face, almost as if they were about to kiss again to get away as quickly as possible. One thing they had hardly noticed was the state they were in as if they had just left a battlefield... or a fight to the death.

It made them on their toes, filled with unmeasurable discomfort with each other.

"B-but she was the one who..." Weiss, though she was almost glad that this didn't end in a tragedy, didn't agree with Sasuke on everything, but he wouldn't let her finish.

"It wasn't," Sasuke decided to explain further, since he didn't have to lie anymore, "while, yes, she did attack me, it wasn't for the reason you believe." He then turned to Blake and how discouraged she was, clearly feeling guilty. "I had not suppressed my Aura and she was frightened, triggering a defensive response; one that was unable to even scratch me."

Blake didn't know if she was being defended or offended, but that didn't change the size of the weight taken off her... although, it wouldn't hurt if he had said that before the fight even started.

"That..." Weiss paused, only now remembering the fact that she knew almost nothing about what happened. In fact, all she knew could very well be a lie. "So... who was able to leave you in that state?"

In this even Blake was curious to know. When they had first met in the bookstore, she had noticed his downcast state but hadn't paid much attention at the time. Now, however, after finding out what he was capable of, that was quite different.

Whatever or whoever managed to hurt Sasuke, it was an unprecedented threat.

One however would be that he didn't intend to go into detail about any of it.

"You don't need to know." Sasuke still had no reason to tell about Kaguya, let alone himself. "For now, I mean." Their disheartened reaction to his lack of confidence changed completely, both of them were expectant of what he would say next, "After the initiation, if my offer is accepted, I will tell you everything you need to know."

"Offer?" Blake, as well as Weiss, managed to get to their feet and question what this was about.

"The same one I gave Ruby Rose earlier," Sasuke clarified and they understood immediately. "If you accept, I can put you on top of this world."

They remembered what he had said, about making that girl powerful enough to save or destroy this world... so their attention was on each other and a mutual thought occurred to them.

This girl can't get her hands on such power!

"I can imagine what you are thinking." It was in the look in each other's eyes, that discomfort of having the enemy remotely become so strong, whereas in the past Sasuke felt something similar about Naruto and Itachi. "So let me say a few things before you two start yelling and accusing each other again." It was almost like having two children being caught fighting in the classroom, he noticed. "Weiss, while she is the heiress to this Schnee family, hardly holds any kind of authority, where she is not even aware of most of the decisions made."

Hopefully.

He knew nothing of the coup of the Uchihas because he was a child, but Itachi did. However, Remnant was different. Children were not militarized and thrown into battlefields, much less trained to kill other people. In this complacent world, they had the opportunity to grow up keeping their innocence much longer and especially their hands from getting dirty with blood.

For this reason, and based on the fear these two felt about taking a life just now, he wanted to believe that neither of them was involved in the crimes mentioned.

"How do you know that?" Weiss was fully aware of everything that was said since it involved her directly, but to the outside public, she played an important role in the company. Since Winter resigned, everyone believed that she was being prepared to one day take over the company. So how does someone from the outside and without the slightest common sense have knowledge of something that only the main members of my family should?

His answer was surprising and likely to cheer her up a bit, for learning one more thing they had in common... if that wasn't another lie.

"I was also an heir," Sasuke clarified to some extent, yet still unwilling to elaborate. "While things in this world may differ, the concept remains the same." He looked at Blake and all her conflict in accepting his opinion. "In this case, although she is related to the Schnee family, she is not directly responsible for any crime, especially in those that occurred before she was even born. Disregarding that reality is nothing more than prejudice, something you should know a lot about."

Inevitably, he could also relate.

The Uchiha Clan was widely repudiated, ever since Konoha had been created, and all because of Madara's past actions.

In the end, one could tell that it was that prejudice born of the fear that the second Hokage had, revered as the will of fire, that resulted in the extermination of his Clan.

As for Blake, she knew and recognized, more than she would like to admit, what Sasuke was getting at. Only... how could she be the one holding prejudice against someone else? Seeing Weiss, someone her age and who shared a similar position in the family business, and who also had no say in the final decision, or the White Fang would be quite different, gave reason to what was said.

After all these years, unconsciously, she began to focus all her frustration and hatred against humans on the Schnee family and those related to them.

Just like Adam, Blake allowed herself to become consumed by what she wanted most to destroy and change.

It all built up in a bad way in her chest, making her feel undeserving of Sasuke's offer, very different from that Ruby Rose and all her naive light, shining in a pure way in this dark world.

In fact, if all this were true, even Weiss, regardless of her family's crimes, was more deserving to walking beside Sasuke and obtaining the power that could change the world for the better.

Unexpectedly, the embodiment of her desire had not finished speaking, using words that began to justify why her stupid body felt such attraction to him.

"In that way, the opposite can also be said about Blake," Sasuke spoke to get this despondent girl's attention and not let her mind drown in guilt, lighting up with the hope of something good being said about her. "Just because she is a faunus and there is a group of them committing such acts of violence, doesn't mean she is the same." Not every Uchiha was a monster, something even the Second Hokage had admitted very unwillingly, so the same should apply here as well. "Surely there are humans just as hideous walking about this world." Obito, Madara, and even he had done enough to make him feared and hated for the rest of his life. Still, there was Orochimaru and many other S Rank criminals deserving of that reputation. "In short, what I want to say is that not everything is black and white; that you should put that prejudice aside and grow up." He looked in another direction, where the city lights were glowing to remind of the abundance of lives in danger of being consumed by darkness. "This world has enough trouble as it is."

The girls were silent, reflecting.

In a way, they couldn't refute any of this, except perhaps that Blake was part of that small group of faunus, but he had a point. However, that would have to be addressed later. For now, Weiss noticed something that needed to be checked immediately before going deeper into the power proposition and about Blake's participation in the White Fang.

"Why do you keep saying 'this world'?" she asked, to which even Blake put aside her dream world about Sasuke a bit to hear what he had to say.

"If you're as smart as I imagine you are, you already know the answer to that," Sasuke would say no more, for if the realization appearing in those eyes was an answer, it was obvious that these two understood perfectly what it meant. Understandable, considering that I didn't expect to find sentient life in another world either.

"Y-you're not..." Weiss began, being sure she was either hallucinating or had gone crazy for good!

"From this world?!" Blake finished for the girl who couldn't, disbelieved at all this insanity!

Sasuke shrugged, leaving it up to them to decide which truth to accept, but showing a shallow smile that was more than suggestive.

Pure insanity, Blake and Weiss wanted to claim!

Yet... that made sense, to a point.

Every feat accomplished by Sasuke was impossible for a normal inhabitant of Remnant, regardless of how talented and blessed he might be. After all, he had an almost immeasurable amount of Aura, multiple abilities that could not be linked with a mere Semblance, plus the unparalleled control, strength and speed demonstrated.

If there was a possibility that he was a divine entity or death itself, as they had come to believe, then why did being someone from another world sound so odd?

Perhaps because he had practically confirmed this fact with such indifference.

It also explained why there was no record of him despite holding such power or about other incidents with this vast and dark Aura of his... which used to be so since both Blake and Weiss could no longer feel anything coming from him.

Besides, this bit of information was making Weiss' mind run wild with new theories.

"So... the person who hurt you isn't from this world either?" she muttered amidst the possibilities that were arising, coming to conclusions that might be hasty but justified. "Is that why you are offering power to us? To help you?"

"I see..." Blake was following the same line of thought, "So that's why you created that misunderstanding so that we would fight and you could gauge how strong we are?"

Sasuke couldn't help but be the one to express surprise this time.

"I guess I underestimated you," he admitted, without any sarcasm, almost complimenting them, "You two are way smarter than I imagined."

Although happy to have her intellect recognized, Weiss wasn't too excited about it, and Blake was no different.

If Sasuke, with all that power, needed help, how could anyone on their level help him?

Even Winter couldn't dream of remotely accompanying him, and Weiss' sister was easily one of the strongest people in the world!

On Blake's side, there was Adam who was a monster in many ways, especially with his Semblance and endless hatred, but even he couldn't hold a candle to Sasuke.

In that case, regardless of how strong they could get with his help, not one of them believed they were capable of defeating him, much less someone who possibly defeated him.

"Again, I know what you're thinking," Sasuke could read these girls like a book, "that not one of you has the capability and that may be true," he wouldn't lie about it, "but be aware that just by exercising real control over the power you possess would make the two of you several times stronger."

"What?!" Weiss and Blake almost screamed, not believing any of it!

"You heard me," Sasuke would not repeat himself.

"B-but my control is perfect!" Not really, but Weiss was sure that only a Hunter of her sister's caliber surpassed her in that regard!

"I'm not so arrogant as to say the same, but I'm sure I have complete mastery over my power," Blake was more modest, yet confident about her words and didn't even care about the way the little princess was staring at her.

"You just said the same thing I did, but with different words," Weiss crossed her arms, staring at this girl with her disguised arrogance.

Ignoring this little disagreement, Sasuke wasn't surprised at the skepticism shown, where he himself would hardly act any different if the roles were reversed and he was the one being offered power.

After all, Orochimaru was only able to persuade him because of the free sample in the form of the Cursed Mark and its corrupting influence.

"Your mistrust is not unfounded, but unfortunately I don't have time to prove anything right now." Sasuke still had a lot to do, which included resting, as he was beginning to feel the exhaustion after being healed and exterminating those Grimm. "Here," he took his Scroll and ID document, handing them to Weiss, where Blake was just watching with curiosity and confusion. "To finalize my recommendation to join Beacon."

"Oh, yes, I had almost forgotten about that." Kind of, Weiss wanted to say. Until before she saw him on top of that building, she remembered it perfectly well. After that, it was hard to keep her head straight, and no one could blame her for that.

"You're really going to try to get into Beacon..." Blake knew the intention, yet doubted it. Like, he was a god from another world, so what would he want in a school's books? Maybe it was just an excuse to find more people to help him.

Her theory made sense, except that she wasn't the only one seeing more than what was on display.

"Yeah, just like you," Sasuke made Blake almost jump in fright and stare at him not knowing what to say. "Surprised that I know that?" she blushed and Weiss sulked at that, he noticed. "You're terrible at keeping secrets."

"I don't understand," Weiss had a thing or two to say about this coincidence and cut this flirtation... in her eyes. "What does a White Fang member want in Beacon?"

The possible answers she had in mind were not pleasant and brought back that distrust that overcame Sasuke's warning.

"Former White Fang member," Blake decided to clear up that detail before this little Schnee went crazy on her again. "I left."

"You did?" Weiss didn't expect that answer, but she wouldn't believe it so easily. "Why?"

Exactly what Blake didn't want to hear, let alone talk about, even more so with the Schnee family heiress. Only, Sasuke was there too and paying attention to her; strangely interested in her answer.

"Because..." she clenched her fists, remembering the fight just now and everything Weiss had said to justify her growing anger. "I left because..." Recognizing the reason was much worse than she imagined, but Sasuke had some reason in his words. "You're not totally wrong!" Looking away with a look that contained tears, Blake hated to think about it. "White Fang used to be a peaceful group that sought equality and that I loved being a part of and fighting for!" Memories were there, of a difficult but fair time...that didn't last long. "However, when fear proved to be more effective than acceptance and mutual respect, everything changed."

If Sasuke wasn't paying much attention before, he was now.

"Except that fear doesn't solve anything, it just creates more hatred and violence!" Blake felt so frustrated! That all the hard work and effort, both hers and her parents, had been thrown away! "I know that the initial goal of achieving cooperation between the races was just a distant dream, but fear and hatred only turned oppression into retaliation to increase the existing conflict." She sighed and didn't allow any tears to fall from her face. "The current White Fang is exactly what we fought to prevent and only exists because..." her eyes focused on Weiss and the girl was unable to look back, "someone, under the banner of your family, has broken many of us to the point of no return."

"I-I..." This time, deep down, Weiss knew that this being said was true...maybe she knew all along, she just refused to believe it. "I'm sorry..."

"You don't have to," Blake cut off what Weiss was about to say, being able to see now with different eyes that this girl before her had nothing to do with what happened. "It wasn't your fault." Yes, this girl was just another one in the world who maybe one day could make a difference, Blake understood that now. "I hope that will continue to be the case even after you assume your post as heiress."

Of all things, Weiss didn't expect understanding when she herself attacked Blake without even a second thought, full of false accusations because of Sasuke.

So what else could she say?

"Speaking like that makes it sound like I don't have a choice," she allowed herself to smile a little, even though she didn't want to. "If I get to take over everything someday, I know I'll change a lot of things, of that you don't need to have the slightest doubt."

"Good," Blake smiled too, for a different reason, for the irony that maybe that friendship wasn't so impossible after all. However, she wouldn't let those jabs of just now remain only in the memory, adding a touch of teasing to have this girl wanting to fly at her throat again, "Nevertheless, you're still an arrogant little princess."

"Thanks," Weiss did her best to keep smiling, albeit in an almost broken way where two could play this game, "Way better than being a kinky cat, don't you think?"

"N-not my fault!" Blake reddened, wanting to wipe the floor with this little! "He's too irresistible and you know it!"

Like Weiss, Sasuke had no argument with this and he didn't even want to get involved in this conversation, still busy thinking about this White Fang.

It seems that this world has yet another example of how flawed my revolution really is. The Grimm was already putting pressure on both races, Sasuke knew, so an angry group decides to inflict more fear on the population when that was exactly what should be avoided. Maybe I should pay them a visit later.

Just out of curiosity.

You know, I didn't expect to get any positive feedback from the previous chapter. Like, so many complained about my take and focus on Ruby that I literally wrote that chapter in order to change; mature her. Which I think was a good thing regardless of my fear and that's why reviews matter so much.

I have many pages of notes with ideas for the story, but when I get to these parts, opinions are there to add details that change things a little, hopefully for the better.

That being said, review, and if you want to support me and read ahead take a look at my P t r & on (slash) Bertoti

Until the next one by the end of the month.
