After leaving that locker and its events as a secret to take to the grave, Yang decided to enjoy the showers before returning to her worried sister with reason. Amidst the comforting steam, she had hot water descending on her slightly reddened skin with the lip marks of the one who should be considered the enemy, massaging her gently, and Yang couldn't help but compare this feeling to Sasuke's hungry touch; to the warm, intoxicating feeling it was to be the victim of his untamed desire to the point of being contagious.

That was the first time something like that had ever happened; that she had responded to the advances of a man and his ferocity, almost allowing herself to be completely consumed.

"Damn..." Yang was biting herself with the fresh, constant memory as her fingers seemed to have a will of their own as they caressed her body in a way that weakened her legs to only then realize what was happening. "What are you doing, Xiao Long?"

She knew exactly what she was doing, who she was thinking about during the act, and feeling like crap for it.

After everything that had happened, having antagonized Sasuke to unhealthy levels, attacked him, and even hated him for merely existing, she was touching herself while thinking about him.

If that wasn't hypocrisy, then she didn't know what was.

Worst of all would be knowing that Sasuke was outside waiting for her, and nothing but some remaining sense of self-respect kept her from walking out the door, completely naked, to try to drag him under that shower with her and finish what they had started; what she had undeniably started with her inconsequential teasing.

Perhaps that was exactly why she couldn't stop, needing to continue what she was doing there, and alone preferably, to contain these hitherto unknown impulses limited to her anger.

Fortunately, this bath had more than merely providing her with relief as its purpose, helping to remove Sasuke's scent that was certainly impregnated on her skin, thus preventing Blake with her keen sense of smell as a bloodhound, or cat, from getting some wrong but correct idea of the situation as a whole.

That, and helping Yang to get her mind in place by organizing her confused thoughts and conflicting opinion.

In a way, the same could be said about Sasuke.

Despite the way he was acting, calm and nonchalant as usual, he couldn't hide the conflict that surely existed within him.

After all, just like Yang for him, he didn't share a very positive opinion of her either, but that wasn't enough to stop all that from happening.

They might even hate each other mentally, but their bodies... certainly had a different opinion about it.

The red marks on their skins, the result of lust manifested and certainly repressed long ago, were there to prove this much.

However, the difference was in how easily he could pretend that nothing had happened.

It wasn't for nothing, considering that with a mere movement of those magic fingers of his, Yang would know, and each and every piece of evidence of the act vanished without a trace.

According to him, not only was the visual evidence gone but the odor she must surely have left on him was masked as well.

All that to avoid a headache, as Sasuke had said.

Yang envied him for that.

Not only his immeasurable power and no apparent limit but also his ability to control himself with maturity mistaken for indifference.

There was no other man like him in this world.

Literally.

That must be why when Yang met him a few days ago, her first opinion of him was not limited to just considering him a handsome guy, but everything else was ignored by her protective nature. There was the way he acted when being surrounded by girls; that nervousness almost frightened by discomfort that many would kill to have... then what happened happened and such recognition became a problem, because of the way Ruby was behaving for the first time towards a person and not something that would go kaboom.

Sasuke was definitely not helping by deliberately teasing Ruby and turning that spark into a flame of affection unknown to the girl.

Now, after what just happened, Yang was beginning to think that maybe there was a reason for his nonchalant attitude as if he was testing something with Ruby after claiming that she had some kind of power in her silver eyes.

The offer of power only came later, adding reasons for Yang to keep in mind when she decided to question Sasuke about it.

In that case, Yang was breathing rapidly, her toes twitching as her eyes rolled back until her strength drained away completely as she climaxed, forcing her to brace herself against the cold bathroom wall and let herself slide until she sat on the floor as she melted with unknown satisfaction. I need to learn more about him...

Much, much more.

Only then could she truly understand him and this unexpected change that afflicted her with this unparalleled sense of guilt.

That must be why Yang remained where she was for more than just a few minutes, letting the hot water take more than her perversion with it; take her sudden tears of conflict and shame.

Sasuke stood outside the showers, reluctantly remaining where he was as he waited for a girl who had just now almost achieved what countless others would kill to have.

After all, he could still feel her taste in his mouth, the fragrant scent on his clothes, and the slight burning of the nail marks and wild bites on his skin.

How many others could say they managed to remotely do any of those things?

Not one.

The irony lay in the fact that she almost hated him, and that this feeling was partly reciprocated.

Maybe that was exactly why all that happened.

An Uchiha could easily be drawn towards hatred, especially Sasuke who was consumed by it for most of his life to the point of almost no return.

In short, hate was sweet and intoxicating, just like Yang's lips.

The first girl he had ever kissed.

What would Sakura say about that? Sasuke didn't even have to think much to know that the answer would be in the form of tears or a fake smile that would inevitably also result in tears, just like it had happened before. Not only her, I suppose.

There was Karin, another girl who had been fighting and trying to get a piece of him, or his whole body, over the years.

Except that this girl wasn't discreet about it at all, even trying to corner him when he was alone in the hot springs once.

A situation he managed to ignore with his iron resolve, reinforced by his fear of the remote chance of getting a girl pregnant before Itachi was dead.

Up to that point, Sasuke had vehemently believed that it was not possible to restore his clan without killing his brother first, for fear of him simply showing up again on a full moon night to take everything from him a second time.

Unfortunately, even now things were not much different.

Itachi wasn't the real threat and he wasn't even alive, but there was still something out there that could take everything from him, no matter how little he had in the first place, whether it was his life, the future of the clan or the world that took everything else from him.

One that, at times, Sasuke questioned if it was really worth saving.

A doubt that undeniably existed, but one that should not be addressed at a time like this.

Trying not to think about it anymore and the resulting negativity, Sasuke resumed his main point, about the countless other girls who came and disappeared over time and the truth that not one of them was relevant...

In his world, at least.

Ruby, Weiss, and Blake... Sasuke could feel their fluttering Aura in the distance as they looked for him with nervousness and genuine concern to make him squeeze the Scroll in his hands in which he kept playing. How would they react to this?

Certainly, Ruby with her purity and relationship with Yang would almost break down at finding herself betrayed by her own sister and probably awaken her eye ability as a result.

A price that, strangely enough, Sasuke was not willing to pay.

While he could finally have confirmation of Ruby's full capability, it would be an achievement made on the basis of destroying a relationship between siblings that resembled his own, and he didn't want to do that.

Weiss, on the other hand, while she seemed to be stronger and colder; sharing similarities with him, was still a girl with a heart made of crystal that almost crumbled just seeing him give Ruby his mantle the day before.

That, and there was also the problem with her sisters' unexpected feelings, Winter.

Other siblings that held similarities to his own with Itachi and needed to be handled with care so as not to result in what should be avoided.

Then there was Blake and her instinctive attraction to him, making her a bit more complicated to read and deal with.

While she didn't have a sister, that Sasuke knows about, she still reacted similarly to Weiss when she saw Ruby receive his attention and cloak.

So maybe there was something beyond her instincts and she liked him a little, but not as much as Ruby and Weiss did, almost...loving him.

To think that these girls could love him stirred him, making a strange feeling rise up inside him that could only be described as guilt; as if he had betrayed these other girls who had positive feelings for him by getting carried away with one he didn't even like.

However, just seeing Yang finally come out of her shower wearing what he gave her; seeing how well it looked on her in a way that only accentuated her beauty by making her look so much more decent, stirred him.

It didn't help that she was aware of his gaze and reacted in an opposite way than expected by putting her arms in front of her and looking away with her face flushed, undeniably showing shyness hitherto non-existent in her person.

Sasuke preferred when she had red eyes and emanated hatred as she stared back at him in defiance, very reminiscent of a younger version of Naruto who was able to influence his opinion of her to ignore how beautiful she really was.

In fact, he actually preferred it when she was afraid of him rather than see her acting like that because it made him self-conscious and made it harder to push away the memories etched in his mind.

"You certainly took your time in there," Sasuke did his best to change the direction this atmosphere between them was taking. Not that I'm complaining.

The time spent helped put his mind in place, but Yang didn't need to know that.

Unexpectedly, this girl seemed to be the same since she could still respond the same way as before, disregarding his recent threat that was nothing more than a bluff... probably.

Sasuke didn't know if he would be able to hold himself back depending on the situation and actually end up dragging Yang into a room.

"You could have joined me if you wanted to," Yang said without thinking, almost mocking and soon regretting as she remembered that she really wished for his presence and the threat from before. "I-I mean, I didn't ask you to wait for me!" she corrected herself as best she could and Sasuke just stared back at her, with his usual seriousness, making her nervous in an unfamiliar way. "Hmm, y-you're not going to take me to a room, right?"

She asked timidly, feeling her body heat up at the thought and her heart soar with her imagination deciding to torment her for knowing that she would be unable to fight back if Sasuke wanted to carry out his threat.

Is she inviting me or rejecting me? Sasuke didn't know which, having to restrain any impulse resulting from seeing this girl acting like that in front of him. "I was waiting for you because those three believe that we are together, so it would be easier if we appear before them in that same way."

A truth that also served as an excuse to hide the conflict within himself and change the subject.

"Oh..." Yang sighed with relief...or disappointment? What is going on with you, Xiao Long?!

There was definitely disappointment, but it was with herself; for her twisted expectations!

It wasn't for nothing that the closeness they were sharing as they moved through the halls of Beacon was so awkward, with the two of them being silent until Yang decided to change the direction this was taking by pulling a different subject before talking about what she really wanted.

Best of all was knowing that Sasuke wasn't ignoring her or anything like that, accepting to have her help with something he wanted and needed.

"With that, you can put out the fire and get back inside the police station," Yang finished explaining, being an even greater expert than Ruby at this game. Or any game, really.

The girl had the passion, but not the talent.

At least, not with games, because she was definitely a genius with weapons.

That aside, although Yang was calmer and more confident, there was this feeling that made her body restless and her eyes insisted on focusing on Sasuke, on the lips that she had locked on hers more than once and on the defined chest that was even more exposed now that he had given some of his clothes to her; a body that she had her hands on while they...

I'm doing it again, aren't I? Yang wanted to be punched in the face, hating the ease with which she was getting distracted by letting her mind go in that kind of direction. I can't do this in front of the others.

Merely wearing some of Sasuke's clothes would already cause trouble, drooling over him would definitely make it worse!

"That was it?" Sasuke did his best to ignore the way Yang kept staring at him, almost devouring him with her eyes, and decided to pay more attention to his mistake; on the lost key that affected his progress in this game. Which is quite weird. The mere fact that he cared about something so trivial, but that undeniably took his mind off reality. Especially considering that this post-apocalyptic world is a paradise compared to the life I lived.

A truth that would discourage most people, even the strong ones.

Fortunately, I'm the strongest. If Sasuke wasn't already, he would be at the end of it all; by defeating Kaguya and Naruto. Regardless of what I decide to do, we still need to settle things.

There were numerous reasons for that, and there would be even more when the conflict finally happened.

Until then, there was still time and Sasuke would only start paying attention to it after the initiation was over, as well as confirming the recruitment of the girls.

For now, let's focus on the problem at hand. He would rather pretend that everything that happened between Yang and him was nothing but a moment of weakness. Among other things, of that he was sure. But now, this comes first, his eyes were on his Scroll, and this new enemy dressed in black appeared as soon as he put out the fire, moving that strange vehicle buried in debris in the middle of the path like it was nothing. "Could this be the Boss that Ruby mentioned earlier?"

An in-game being that exceeded the others in power and provided a challenge to overcome.

Like a Kage or the Sannin and other S Rank Shinobis.

"Hmm, Mr. X?" Yang just played along with Sasuke, if that was how he wanted to handle everything that happened. "Kind of, but for now, he's invincible."

A notion that didn't seem to please this god in human form.

"Hmph, there's nothing I can't defeat," Sasuke embraced the challenge head-on and it took no more than a few seconds for him to be brutally beaten to death. Reality and fiction, I need to remember that.

The problem now was another in the form of this blonde who in addition to fear, had also lost her restraints and was more than willing to mock him.

Slowly, Sasuke was actually regretting having let his instincts speak louder.

"Pfff!" Yang couldn't stifle a laugh, watching the all-powerful Uchiha Sasuke have his ass kicked after making such an imposing statement! "It seems that even a god like you is no match for a game script!"

At least it was good to know that he couldn't distort reality or anything like that.

"Script?" Sasuke ignored her mockery and his supposed divinity as best he could, focusing on what interested him. "Was that supposed to happen?"

"Well, kind of," Yang still wasn't used to the way he could change the subject, she would just be thankful he wasn't mad at her. "This is a game based on a pre-established story, after all."

In other words, it was something that could not be changed.

"Just like fate, huh..." Sasuke had just lost some of his interest; being reminded of this concept so present in his life. The patterns connected in a straight line, starting with the Sharingan and now I have even the Rinnegan.

The result of him being the reincarnation of a demigod like Indra and the intervention of a god like Hagoromo.

Likewise, it reminded him that Madara lost to Hashirama, and Indra must have been the same against Asura or even Obito against Kakashi.

That being the case, how would his fight with Naruto play out?

The remote possibility of him sharing the same fate as his predecessors made him uneasy.

However,

There is no point in reflecting on that. Just because those immersed in darkness before him failed to overcome the light, doesn't mean that he would fail as well. I just need to make sure I have enough power to change this damn concept.

Just like he made this Mr. X kneel before him by using everything he had in his second attempt.

Speaking of power, Yang's curiosity could no longer be contained and she brought up a question that caught him off guard.

"So... are we going to talk about what happened earlier?" Yang didn't understand why he was comparing a game to something abstract and complicated like fate, preferring to get straight to the point that interested her and tested whether this sea was too rough for her to risk herself in it only to have her heart tremble. Geez... she didn't flinch in fear or anything like that, because this time that feeling was triggered by seeing him blush! It's not for nothing that all those girls fell for him!

Such a powerful and handsome guy acting like an embarrassed little girl!

Yang wanted to provoke him right there but knew what could happen if she crossed the line again, so she restrained herself.

Sasuke might be acting self-consciously like that, but underneath that unexpected layer of shyness was a beast that would devour her if it were awakened.

In that case, she would rather change the course of this conversation back on track to avoid the temptation to make everything she imagined during her shower happen.

"N-not about that, I mean the weird tattoo on your neck," Yang rephrased her question, thus hoping to break this silent reaction that gave life to fantasies that shouldn't exist. "You know, the one that seems to be alive?"

She spoke as if Sasuke had other tattoos on his body...not that Yang knew that, regardless of how much she was able to see when they...

Images as clear as day were there to justify his reaction.

"It's not exactly a tattoo," Sasuke had no reason not to talk about it, being much better than the alternative. "It's called Six Path Mark."

"Six Paths?" Yang felt a smile appear on her face, almost not believing that he actually answered her question! "Why? Because it has six commas in it? If so, is that right eye of yours called, I don't know, three paths?"

"My right eye is called the Sharingan." Sasuke was beginning to regret his decision, but couldn't help but clarify this misunderstanding that was almost offensive to his heritage and clan. "Which translates to something like Copy Wheel Eye, in your language."

An answer that implied he spoke another language, which wouldn't be strange considering he came from another world.

"Really?" Yang couldn't help but test it on her tongue and like how that name, Sharingan, sounded. Ruby would certainly be all jumpy if she were here to learn about it. A consideration that made Yang feel bad, but she would disregard it all for knowing that the girl would also be told all about it later. "Pretty cool, but why is it called that?"

Sasuke hesitated to answer, and with reason.

Not because he didn't want to reveal information about his bloodline, after all, it was something extremely well known where he came from and honestly it didn't make much difference to him.

However, some details were...complicated.

Well, at this point, I guess it makes no difference. Sasuke doubted that Yang could also forget what happened earlier and she hardly had a bloodline like his. Looking away, he decided to end his explanation with some reluctance, "Because the Sharingan allows me to copy and memorize everything I see perfectly, no matter how briefly."

More than expected silence closely followed such a revelation and its implications.

"S-so... you remember every detail?" Yang was red, not knowing whether to be angry or not about it. Everything that happened before, he will remember forever like a movie?!

The answer came in the form of the usual grunt that reminded Yang why she almost hated this guy.

He was too indifferent and didn't seem to take anything seriously!

"Hn," was all Sasuke could say, regardless of what she would understand by that only to have his shoulders suddenly grabbed. "Yang, what are you..."

"Is that all you have to say?!" she didn't let him finish, showing red eyes at him! "Does that mean that every time you decide to jerk off you'll be able to think of me?!"

That was almost as bad and degrading as everything that happened before!

That must be why her heart was beating so fast, there was no other explanation!

"Yang, calm down," Sasuke had to restrain his indignation at how ridiculous this accusation was, being new to him. "I won't do anything like that."

He never did and had no intention of starting now, especially when he could just sleep with basically any girl he wanted.

Wisely, Sasuke chose not to let such a despicable opinion be known.

Although, that wasn't necessary for this girl to show again that familiar hatred that was strangely comforting.

"Oh... wait a minute, why not?!" Now Yang was outraged for a different reason; one that she couldn't even properly understand! "I'm not good enough, you bastard?!" What more did he need when he had her on his mind?! Then something occurred to her and her blood boiled as she grabbed the collar of his obi and brought him closer. "Or are you still planning to get your hands on Ruby?!"

If he were, she would punch that pretty little face of his right there!

"Yang, you're not making sense." Sasuke couldn't understand how the hell he got himself into this kind of situation. It's like a curse.

Then, luckily, part of that curse turned into a blessing when an approaching girl saw this whole scene and an opportunity to help the hottest guy she had ever seen in her life!

"Hi, is everything..." she started with confidence but froze when she saw literal fire emerging from the golden hair of this girl who suddenly looked like a beast!

"Fuck off!" Yang practically growled and made this random bitch jump in fear as she showed red eyes, a completely impulsive action that had the more than desired result. "Stupid bitch."

Sasuke could only watch the girl with her possible good intention being destroyed by this aggressive attitude that reminded him again of Naruto.

I guess nothing has really changed, he sighed as he put away his Scroll and had his hand over this girl's to have her shudder under his touch. "Yang, that's enough."

That red gleam in her eyes disappeared along with all her anger to give way to fear at knowing she was crossing the line again.

"Hmph, are you mad because I pushed that bitch away from you?" she said the first thing that came into her mind, refusing to back down completely. "How many more do you want? Isn't four enough?" her thoughtless words suggested something and Yang felt ashamed of it. Did I just include myself in that count?!

Even worse, she was almost giving Ruby away too!

Did she just include herself as a member? Sasuke was as stunned as this girl by her statement, not knowing what to say about it. Again, having this idea of a harem in his mind stirred him in the worst way. "Five is the number of people I intend to recruit, to help me and nothing else," he would try to clarify that much, "and there are two people with potential that I still have to look into, so it would be better if you held back a bit and didn't go out attacking everyone."

After all, it would be counterproductive if Yang ended up dead for messing with that hate-filled small girl.

"Who are these girls?" she asked, knowing it must be girls. They are always girls.

"A small one with black hair and green eyes that although I have never seen before, seems to want me dead," Sasuke would ignore the accusation present in the question asked, for, in the end, Yang had some reason by the established pattern. "The other is a red-haired one who seems to attract as much attention as I do."

"Red hair? Must be Pyrrha Nikos," Yang made a guess, but she was more interested in knowing about this small girl who wanted Sasuke's head on a platter. Just like I wanted it too...or do I still want it?

Yang was very confused about that, among other things.

"You know her?" Sasuke didn't expect Yang to know about either of them, perhaps being able to make use of some information. "What can you tell me about her?"

"Not much, since I don't know her personally," Yang could only lament the expectations Sasuke surely had in his question. "She kind of famous, but you wouldn't know that, being from another world and all."

As crazy as that was.

"Famous like Weiss?" Sasuke wondered if she was another princess. Well, she has the appearance of one.

One stronger and more refined in the art of combat than Weiss, being more similar to Winter.

"No," Yang denied that comparison with a rather unfriendly expression, still being somewhat resentful of that little bitch in white. "Pyrrha is a regional champion, for four consecutive years. She earned her fame and reputation as the invincible girl by her own efforts, not by inheriting some name."

With that attitude, Yang was reminding Sasuke of another annoying blond, that Deidara who resented him for his bloodline.

"Hmm." Nevertheless, Sasuke liked what he heard, especially the part about the invincible girl. "Interesting."

Now all he had to do was consider what to do next about this Pyrrha, leaving her as a strong candidate should things go off course with that small well of hate.

"So, are you going to try to seduce her too?" Yang asked just to know, feeling some discomfort within her. What is this?

It was something she felt every time she thought about another girl in this guy's hands.

"Recruit, you mean?" Sasuke corrected and Yang shrugged. "Maybe, I don't know."

That was because, even with this girl's record as a champion, the other girl was still stronger and had an advantage that Sasuke appreciated;

Blood on her hands.

That small girl would not hesitate to kill and that was a quality that seemed hard to obtain in this world.

The real problem would be putting her into submission.

Disregarding his plans, Yang had a suggestion.

"Why don't you...I don't know, recruit them both?" she said suddenly, hoping that Sasuke would hear her plea. "Then you wouldn't need Ruby anymore, right?" he didn't seem to be buying her request and that made her nervous, almost desperate. "I-I'll behave and even work together with the others without complaining!" She reached up and held the sleeve of his obi with her trembling fingers, asking heartily, "Please?"

The way her lilac eyes were watering along with her light and sincere tone of voice was able to shake Sasuke, reminding him how much a younger sibling meant to the older one.

"After the initiation," Sasuke would say what he could at that moment, to appease this turbulent heart before him so that nothing extreme would happen...again. "I will explain everything, answer every question you or the other girls have about my situation and presence in this world. So, if even after knowing the reason I need help, you still want to push Ruby away, I won't insist or try to keep her around." Deep down, he really meant every one of those words, for he wished no harm to that little rose. That, and because he knew that in the end, Ruby would be the one to have the final word on this decision. Not that Yang needed to know that. If she didn't already know and preferred to live in denial. "Would that be enough?"

If the sudden embrace was an answer, Sasuke knew he had made the right choice.

Yang couldn't hold back her tears, feeling as if an entire world had been removed from her shoulders.

"Thank you," she whispered as she squeezed him tighter in her arms and almost melted as she felt his arms caressing her back with unexpected affection. "You may be a bastard sometimes, but you're not such a bad bastard."

Yang was really starting to see him in a different light; starting to like him, and it made her heart flutter.

"And you're not making sense again, Yang," Sasuke couldn't help but smile a little as he accepted this hug that couldn't be more different than what happened earlier, without a shred of lust involved. I suppose I'm not making much sense at this point either.

Otherwise, Uchiha Sasuke would never allow a girl who remotely resembled Naruto into his arms, much less comfort her with kind words and his touch.

It seemed like things really did change, didn't they?
