Chapter 3: Edolis
Everything happened do fast, one second everyone was just sitting in the Guild Hall to avoid the rain, and the next, the entire city of Magnolia was gone. The only ones left were Natsu, Wendy, Happy, and Carla. After Carla explained that the city and everyone in it were taken to another world called Edolis, the four decided to go to Edolis and get their friends back.
When they got to Edolis they realized that they couldn't use their magic which meant that they had to be extra careful and not run into any trouble.
They wondered around for awhile until they found something unbelievable.
They found Fairy Tail, but it looked different. The Guild Hall was built out of a tree.
"I'd recognize that place any where, even though it's in disguise, that's definitely Fairy Tail." Natsu said in excitement, leading the charge towards the guild.
They chose to hide under a table because felt that something was off when they entered the Hall, it seemed like everything was normal until they saw it.
Not only were their cloths and hair different, but also how they were acting.
Gray was actually wearing cloths for once and he was fawning over Juvia who was ignoring him.
Elfman was crying over failing a job instead of shouting about being a man while Jet and Droy were scolding him.
Max and Warren were talking about how those to were the strongest in the guild while Nab ran off saying how he just took another job.
Cana wasn't drinking and was fully clothed, and Alzack and Biska were being all lovey dovey.
The only one who was normal was Mira.
The two dragon slayers and their cats had all dropped their jaws. "What the hack is going on?!" Natsu shouted quietly. "Everyone's acting completely different, it's like their personalities got swapped." Wendy added.
"Hey. What are you doing down there?" someone said in an aggressive tone, crouching down in front them and drawing everyone's attention. They we're shocked when they finally noticed who it was… "Lucy!"
Lucy glared at the group until she noticed and recognized Natsu. "Natsu, you've been gone so long that we thought the worst had happened."
She then suddenly wrapped her legs around him and started to grind her knuckles into the sides of his head.
"You're gonna pay for making me worry about you!"
"By the way Natsu, what's with the cats and the kid, you babysitting or something?" Macao asked.
"Wait are they…" Wakaba asked but slowly drifted off.
Everyone's blood went cold when they took a good look at Happy and Carla.
"Are they cats! No; Their exceeds!" "How did they get in here?" "Natsu, what the heck is going on?"
Everyone was freaking out. Natsu, Wendy, and Happy were confused on what Exceeds even were, but Carla just stood there stoically with her arms crossed.
"Well they do look like exceeds, but I think they just look like them." Mira said crouching down Infront of Happy and Carla and looking them over.
After everyone accepted Mira's explanation, went back to whatever they were doing.
While This worlds Lucy was torturing Natsu two familiar voices came into the picture.
"Lucy, stop beating on Natsu." A female voice said. "Yeah please stop, I tired of bandaging him up everytime you go overboard." A male voice added in.
The group turned to the two, Natsu and Happy looked shocked with tears forming in their eyes at what they saw. It was Lisanna and Jasper.
Lisanna was wearing a light purple dress with white lining and white forearm gloves and light purple heels. Her hair was cut shorter then the last time they saw her.
Jasper was taller then they remember by a few inches. He wore a gray button up shirt, a dark blue trench coat, black pants and shoes. His hair was in braided and in an afro.
"Pffft, whatever." Lucy said, letting Natsu go. He got up and just stared at the two. "I… I've gotta be dreaming." Happy mumbled.
"Hey, welcome back guys." Elfman greeted with a smile. "Glad you two made it back alright." Mira added.
"Of course we're alright, you know us." Jasper retorted. Lisanna elbowed him in the gut with and angry pout. "Be nice, they were just worried about us."
"LISANNA! JASPER!" Natsu and Happy shout as they jumped at the two. Lisanna flinched back, Jasper got in front of Lisanna, grabbed the two by back of their necks, spun them around like batons, and threw them away like two discus. Natsu managed to land on his feet first but got knocked down by Happy when he hit in the back of the head with his helmet.
"Alright, tell me what the hell was that about before I start breaking bones?" Lucy said grabbing Natsu up by the collar. "Their right there, their alive." Natsu said, still crying.
This revelation along with seeing an adult version of Wendy made the group realize that these weren't their friends, but another version of them. Basically, they are doppelgangers.
As the group was trying to leave, but Nab ran back in and blocked their way. "We've got big trouble! The Fairy hunters are coming!"
Everyone was panicking, Levy was trying to activate a teleportation spell while Lucy kept nagging her to hurry up.
"Two minutes to teleport." Levy announced. "THEY'RE HERE!" Elfman scream as a dragon like monster flew down at the Guild Hall. Two figures could be seen on top of the beast's head.
The female had bright, blood red hair tied in a ponytail. She wore a black armored sports bra with gray markings, black armor on her arms minus her shoulders, a purple scarf, a belt with a white cloth hanging from the right side over black swimsuit bottom, and black armor on her legs minus her upper thighs. She's carrying a spear with a large head that resembled an axe.
The other was a male and wore a black long sleeve skin tight shirt with dark blue armor pieces on his shoulders, elbows, and knees. He had black pants and boots and a dark blue face mask with white markings on it. He also had silver gauntlets that reached his up his forearms with black markings on it.
Right as the beast was about to crash into the guild hall, a huge flash of light consumed the building. When the pair opened their eyes all that's left was a smoking crater.
A blonde haired man in pink armor with no pants walked up to the crater with a smirk.
"Hmm, looks like they've escaped you again. How disappointing." He said looking up at the two on top of the creature. The two ignored his words and just stared at the smoking hole where their target used to be, a menacing aura flowing off of them both.
With Fairy Tail.
"Ugh, what happened?" Questioned Natsu. "I think the guild hall just got moved somewhere else." Happy guessed. "And flipped my stomach in the process." Wendy added.
"What the hell took you so long, they came way to close to getting us!" Lucy yelled at Levy. "Don't yell at me when you weren't doing anything to help!" Levy yelled back. They kept going back and forth while everyone else got back to their feet.
"Who was that?" Natsu thought aloud. "You must have hit your head when we teleported if you don't remember." Mira said. "No, he's just an idiot." Macao and Wakaba said at the same time.
"those two are the captain of the royal cities magic warfare units, Erza Knightwalker, also known as The Fairy Hunter. And her lieutenant, Keen, also known as the Berserker.
The group all gasped at the reveal of Ezra's counterpart being evil.
Later.
"Okay, let me get this straight." Jet said as Natsu's group stood in front of the Edolis Fairy Tail guild.
"You guys are from another world." Jet said getting a nod from The group. "Toy came here to rescue your version of the guild after they were taken here." They nodded again. "But you need our help to get to Royal City so that you can find out what happened." Jet finished, getting one last nod from the group.
"You sound surprised." Carla commented. "Aye." Happy added.
"I'm sure you would be too if you were in our shoes." Droy said. "I'm still trying to wrap my head around the fact that Erza's apart of your guild in your world." Macao said, scratching the back of his head.
"It's the truth. Anyway, so can you help us?" Wendy asked with hopeful eyes.
The Edolis Fairy Tail members all looked uncomfortable before responding. "Listen, you'd be better if you gave up on saving you friends." Edolis Wendy said shocking her smaller counterpart.
"Our worlds magic is limited and might run out soon, so the king chose to horde it all in the Royal city." Elfman said.
"After that he order all magic guild to disband. And the ones that didn't… they were killed." Warren said.
"We've lost over half of our guild mates, including our master." Droy said. The members
All the members of the Edolis Fairy Tail started to cry. Lisanna and Jasper were in the back with concerned looks, they glanced at each other.
Royal City, Palace
Erza and Keen were walked down a hallway with town other people. One was the man in pantless pink armor, his name is Sugarboy, he is the captain of the Royal army's fourth unit. The other man had dark purple hair with a white tuff in the front. He wore a black shirt and pants with green accents, black boots, and a white coat on his shoulders with gold lining. His name is Hughes, captain of the Royal army's third unit.
"Did you see the size of that Lacrima, the magic we're gonna get from that thing is gonna last us awhile, am I right?" Hughes said.
"Yes, I saw it when we arrived. It is quite exquisite." Erza said while still facing forward.
"Apparently it holds the magic of several thousand earthland people, which is equal to hundreds of wizards." Sugarboy explained.
"Don't bore me with the details, Sugarboy." Hughes said, rolling his eyes.
While the group were walking and talking, an short old man stepped out of the shadows behind them. Keen stopped suddenly, drawing the others attention.
"What do you want, Byro?" Keen asked, turning around to the old man along with the others.
"Captain Erza, lieutenant Keen, when will you finally destroy the Fairy Tail guild?" Byro asked with a snigger. Keen grunted and Erza narrowed her eyes.
"Fairy Tail is the only wizard guild left, they my be a little tough to track down, but the King's patience runs thin. Perhaps you shouldn't have the name 'Fairy Hunter' Captain." Byro said mockingly getting glares from the two.
"Now, now. There's no need to rush the pair, the day the fairy fall in close at hand." Sugarboy said. "Those fairies' days are numbered, you'll see, they're toast." Hughes added.
Byro sniggered once more before the group of soldiers continued on their way.
"That old man gives me the creeps." Keen mumbled loud enough for the others to hear. "You and me both." Hughes said in agreement.
