CHAPTER 1 ME
My name is Ame. My mother is Hana. My sister is Yuki. We live in a small house. We don't have our father's driving license. My mother always said I was the soft one. Not Yuki. Let's backtrack a couple of years. 5 years ago, I was "The Soft One". That's what my mother called me at the time. I could see why she said that."Yuki, Ame! It's time to come in for dinner!"Mom said. I cried as I ran in.
"Mommy!"I cried.
"What is it, Ame?"Mom asked.
"I can't find Yuki! Where has she gone?"I cried.
"Ame, she's right here, baby."Mom said. You could see why I was "The Soft One". But today, that would change. I did not like being soft, as you could probably tell. I wanted to get out of the heck of a state I was in. I personally hated it. Capital H! My mother was so kind, I loved it, yet hated it at the same time!
"What is it, Ame?"Yuki asked. I ran to Yuki and hugged her.
"Where were you, Yuki? You scared the heck out of me!"I said.
"What do you mean, Ame? I was with Mom the whole time,"Yuki said.
"You scared me, Yuki."I said. I meant what I said as it had happened. Yuki still kind of scares me, in a way. Fast forward a couple years. Here I am now, with Mom and Yuki. Yuki has already been going to school. She said she has some friend named Souhei and…some other girl she told me about. Sometimes I wonder how Yuki makes friends. But then I remember: she tells no one of our secret.
I feel as if I could never make any friends. Until I met Sensei. Sensei was my teacher. My mother thought that it was a human. That was until I told her who Sensei was. Sensei was a fox. It was his duty to protect the forest. Me and Yuki had different priorities. Hers was school and things that pertained to humans. In other words, human life. Mine, on the other hand, was things that pertained to wolves. Nature and other things. As you can see, me and Yuki were completely different from one another. That was Yuki. This is me.
