Six year old Harry Potter knew he was different from other children his age. His aunt and uncle, Vernon and Petunia Dursley, made sure Harry knew that from a young age that he was an outsider in their house. He was not given a room, bed and blankets, but was forced to sleep in the cupboard under the stairs, a flimsy mattress and sheets. All of his clothes were handed down from his cousin Dudley, who was much bigger than Harry due to being given scraps. Love was another thing that wasn't given to him, only scorn, as he was made to do all the household chores. Despite being to young to be near a stove, Harry was to cook all the meals, and punished should he burn them at all. Though his time with the Dursley family came to a crashing halt.
Earlier in the day, his uncle had gone to work, boasting about how he was assured to be getting a promotion, only to get passed over for someone else. Vernon, in his rage addled mind, somehow got it in his head that his nephew, a small child, had made him lose the promotion, despite never being anywhere near Grunnings. The results of the beating left Harry barely clinging to life, as his uncle tossed him from the car in the middle of the woods far from where they lived.
"Good riddance to rubbish like you. Freaks like you should never be allowed anywhere near us normal folk in the first place." Vernon spat with plenty of hatred in his voice. "If I find you somehow made it back to my house, I'll kill you myself and send you to your no good, worthless parents. Shame you lived instead of perishing with them." Vernon then got back in his car, and drove away.
Harry was barely awake, still clinging to life as he watched his uncle drive away. He knew deep down he had just been abandoned, but his injuries were of more importance. Finally letting his tears fall, he cried out. "H-help... me... please..."
Unknown to Harry, his magic heard his plea, and so did someone else.

In another world, a girl who looked like she was in her late teens was walking next to a woman with horns on her head. The teen's two-toned hair and eyes flowed behind her as she walked, much like the platinum blonde of the woman next to her.
"Thank you for making the trip to Firene and Brodia for me, Zelestia. I needed to attend that meeting in Elusia with Ivy and Hortensia with Veyle and Nel. I never would have made it to Firene in that time." The teen smiled.
"It was no problem, Divine One. I was happy to help you." Zelestia returned the smile. "I know you told me I can call you Alear, but it is an ingrained habit to call you Divine One."
"I can understand that. It took me a few times to get over it when the war with Sombron was starting. Hard to believe it's been two years since we beat him." Alear looked ahead of her. She held her right hand in front of her, looking at the strange mark on it as she walked. "I still wish that the Emblems could have stayed with us, but I feel as if we will see them again soon enough." Continuing her walk to her destination.
"I know how you feel Divine One. It's why you pend a few hours here and there in the Ring Chamber, telling them about what's been going on since they fell asleep." Zelestia laughed as she kept pace with Alear. "On another note, I have been getting a strange feeling since those marks appeared on the hands of both you and the other six. It feels like there is a pull to somewhere around here..." Zelestia stopped moving looking out towards Lumera's Garden. "Divine One! There's a portal appearing in Queen Lumera's Garden! I have no idea where it's connected to, but I can hear a voice through it."
The duo rushed to Lumera's Garden, and found the portal in question. "Can you sense what's on the other side?" Alear held Liberation at the ready to be drawn if needed. "I need to know if we will need to grab the others."
"Yes, I can. If I'm sensing things right, the only only thing on the other side of the portal is a small child." Zelestia gasped as she recoiled from what her magic was finding. "It's a little boy, and he's heavily injured. Divine One, I'll go grab him and bring him to the garden's entrance. He will need immediate treatment to survive."
"Right. Go gent him while I grab the clerics." Alear whistled, and a giant wolf landed at her side. She quickly got on it's back and dashed off.
"If I didn't know any better, I'd say she's been taking lessons from Merrin on how to call wolves again." Zelestia sighed, then shook her head to refocus. "Not the time to worry about it. I need to get him through here."
Rushing through the portal, she spotted the boy a few feet away, and could tell he was slipping fast. She quickly picked him up, and ran back through. Rushing as fast as she could, She found the clerics... and a SHRUNKEN ALEAR?! She refocused on the task at hand. "Clerics, this is the boy in question. Get two of you working on healing him as the other two move the gurney. Get him to the hospital wing of the castle immediately." The clerics rushed to follow orders as Zelestia looked to the one cleric that stayed beside the shrunken Alear. "Tell me, what happened to the Divine One?"
"We don't know, Lady Zelestia. One minute she was dashing along side us, the next, she's being carried in the maw of the wolf she was riding on when she got to us." The cleric responds as quickly as possible.
Alear raised her small hand. "Zelestia, can't you use your magic to find out?"
"I can, but it will take some time." While I do, I would suggest you work on getting some properly fitting clothes." Zelestia smiled as she looked Alear in the eyes. "I have my work cut out for me, but I'm sure I can handle it."
"I know you can, Zelestia." Alear smiled from on top of her wolf. "I'm counting on you." Alear didn't notice her own Emblem Ring start to glow, much like the ones in the Ring Chamber.
Lythos Castle, Elyose December 30, Year unknown
In the three months that passed, Zelestia had a few times where she just about wanted to pull her horns off. It wasn't just Alear that shrunk, but the other six that had those strange marks did too. Looking into the magic on those marks, she was left floored. she couldn't make heads or tails of it. The closest she could find about the marks was that they turned back the hands of time on the seven girls. She still didn't have any conclusive reason as to why, but she had a few theories that their new friend was connected to it, and possibly the other mysteries she'd been dealing with.
One of the other mysteries was the portal. It didn't close, but the way through was a little unsure due to how it worked. Yunaka had been sent through to find out what she could, and found out that the world on the other side was far different than their world. Even stranger was that she was able to find a massive lack of magic being used, at least amongst the main populace. Her hiding, and sneaking skills helped her find the hidden magical community, and about their new friend. It took her a few more weeks than Yunaka's week long trip into the other world for her to realize that the portal had connected through space thanks to Sombron's attempt to cross into other worlds, as well as learning how to move the location of the portal from the woods, to a shed they made in the woods closer to a lake.
The last, but certainly welcome mystery, was the reawakening of the Emblems, both the Rings and Bracelets. Being able to talk with their old friends again was a welcome relief, as it was thanks to Emblems Byleth, Soren, and Robin that she even had working theories on the other mysteries.
"Is something on your mind, Zelestia?" Emblem Micaiah asked as she appeared next to Zelestia, who was watching the group of eight children.
"I was just thinking, Micaiah, how lucky we are that he entered our lives. It was thanks to that portal, and the magic flowing through it that you and the others woke up again, making it possible to ask for help in figuring out those mysteries that I was working on." Zelestia smiled when Harry, as she had learned his name from Yunaka's expedition, managed to catch Nel in their game of tag. "I know I have a meeting with the Goblins of Gringotts in two days to become Harry's Muggle and Magical Guardian, but I have a feeling things are going to be much more complicated. I've been exchanging letters with his family's account manager, Griphook, and he set it up for me to meet with a member of the Ministry that they trust to be fair and keep this on the low end, but I cant help but worry."
"Why are you so worried? I know you will be able to do what needs to be done for Harry." Micaiah smiled as she floated next to where Zelestia was seated. "Is it because you were also made to register as the guardian for the others as well?"
"Not so. I am confident that I can handle all eight of them. The most trouble they get into is when Hortensia and Goldmary get into their cuteness competitions." Zelestia shook her head as the kept her eyes on the children. "No, my main worry is what is up with that scar Harry has, and how the blood adoption potion he and I have to take that day will react with it. Whatever it is, it feels dark, and it worries me."
"I understand. Carry me with you to the meeting. I wish to offer my aid however possible." Micaiah urged, as she spotted some of her fellow Emblems get involved in the game. "I see Camilla, Tiki, and Lyn have joined in their game of tag. Do you think we should intervene before the kids get hurt?" Worry found a home on Micaiah's face as she watched her fellow Emblems.
"It will be fine, Micaiah." Zelestia took a sip of tea as she looked on. "Since they woke up, Lyn and Camilla dote on Harry. It's like he has two older sisters in them. Lyn has been using these games as a way to train him physically, and Camilla has been teaching him magic. In Tiki's case, she knows how to have fun and make the game interesting. If I didn't know better, I'd say he would be a Melusine when he grows up, but as that class is unique to myself I would have to change my guess to mage knight."
"I think you might be right on the Melusine part. I can't quite place my finger on it, but it feels like there is more to Harry than we know. It feels a like there is something holding part of him back, and I don't mean because of the abuse we know he suffered. Celica, Corrin, Erika, and Lucina have been helping to get him past that, so we know it isn't the trauma from those monsters that are his relatives. If I had to guess, I'd say it is some kind of magical binding." Micaiah mused, at the same time, she saw Harry catch Veyle and Alear at the same time. "That said, I think that having the Emblems as a form of family, along side a constant parental figure will heal his trauma. Only time will tell if he will be able to confront his past."
"Once again, you're right." Zelestia stood up, and straightened her dress. "I think I will go get the papers ready, as well as an outfit for Harry. Better to have a formal attire ready than be delayed because we weren't ready for our important meetings." Zelestia walked of, wondering which outfit she should use for Harry, as not many of the ones they had would blend in to the Muggle Society in the other world without attracting a lot of attention.
Gringotts, London, England January 1, 1987
Zelestia and Harry arrived at Gringotts early in the morning. Their meeting was at noon, but Zelestia wanted to make sure that Harry wasn't going to be frightened by the goblins. While he was unnerved, he didn't seem frightened. In the couple hours before the meeting, Harry and Zelestia had a few things explained to them, such as how the Ancient and Noble houses worked, the monetary value of magical currency, and a bit about the bank they were currently in. Once an red haired lady with a monocle had arrived to the teller's counter, both Zelestia and Harry were led with the lady to Griphook's office.
"Ah, on time as usual. I appreciate you taking the time out of your busy day to come meet with us, Madam Director." Griphook motioned to Harry and Zelestia. "Madam Director Amelia Bones, may I introduce to you the two who are the reason for this meeting. This is Lady Zelestia Magysval and her recently adopted child, Heir Harry Potter of the Ancient and Noble House of Potter," Amelia's eyes almost widened, if she hadn't steeled her facial expression by sheer willpower. "They are needing to register Harry with the Ministry as Zelestia's charge both Muggle and Magical, and keep it quiet, as there is at least one person who would do anything to put Harry back with his Muggle aunt and her family."
Amelia, for her part, looked a bit offended. "Muggle aunt? I assume you mean his mother's sister Petunia?" Upon seeing Harry nod, she became visibly angry. "That idiotic old man. Everyone who knew Lily and had been at the wedding for her and James knows what that woman thinks about magic." She looked Harry in the eyes as he clung to Zelestia. "I'm sorry, Harry. I did not mean to scare you. I knew your mother and father, and I know for sure they never would have wanted you to live with your mother's sister."
"I may not know who you are speaking of, but was his parents' wills ever enacted?" Zelestia questioned as she held Harry.
"No, they were sealed by order of the Wizengamot." Amelia shook her head. "The sealing also carried an order. Any inquiries are to see the office of the Chief Warlock of the Wizengamot, which is held by Albus Dumbledore. I know he was witness to the wills, which means the contents go against his vaunted 'Greater Good.'"
"While we might not be able to get around the sealing of the wills until the young heir reaches his majority at seventeen, we CAN get Dumbledore removed from any say in the young heir's life." Griphook grinned as he spoke. "Dumbledore declared himself as young Harry's Magical Guardian when he placed him with his Muggle aunt. That act alone, though he hasn't realized it, had Magic itself deem him unfit. If Zelestia blood adopts Harry, she will legally be his guardian in both worlds, but we need an official from the ministry to oversee the adoption." Griphook slid a folder he had gotten from Zelestia earlier in the day.
"As well as file the parchment work in such a way that Dumbledore won't find out. I can do both of those. I know which department and cabinet to file it in." Amelia agreed. "I assume you will be using the potion that adds a parent rather than replaces a parent?"
"That was what we had agreed upon a few weeks ago during our first meeting." Zelestia smiled. "I don't want to steal Harry from being able to claim his birth mother as his mother, but to just take over the role. Along side Harry, I have seven others I registered here and with the ministry as the guardian of, and have noted that I will not need the ministry's assistance to raise them. Harry is just the one that has a lot of legalities as he is originally from this world. I'll share the details later, but this is important for the both of us."
Harry continued to watch timidly as the adults talked. He really didn't understand what was going on, but he did like Zelestia. She took care of him since she rescued him from where his uncle had left him. He was even allowed to eat proper meals and have friends. Nel, Alear, Veyle, Chloe, Goldmary, Hortensia, and Ivy all helped him come out of his shell more, but he knew he had room to grow. Having seen how Dudley bullied others into following him, Harry was determined to not be like him with his friends. Zelestia asked him days ago if he'd like it if she adopted him as her own child, and he happily agreed. Though hearing the red lady and the bank staff talk with Zelestia did make him feel a little small.
After another thirty minutes of talking, a second goblin brought in a potion for Harry to drink. After being instructed to add a few drops of her blood, Zelestia gave it to Harry to drink. NORMALLY, all that should have happened was the addition of Harry to another family tapestry by blood relation. Harry, after drinking it, collapsed to his knees as his body heated up. His hair grew longer, developing streaks of silver in his hair, and one eye turned purple. His features turned more feminine as he changed to look almost like a small Zelestia. At the same time, the scar on his head burst open, and a black smoke like wraith fled the room, heading to a vault lower in the bank.
"BreakClaw, follow that damnable thing. It may lead us to another of those things." GripHook Hollered out as he immediately set about searching his desk. "I know I have those papers here somewhere... Ah, here they are." He handed the paper to Zelestia. "I need a few drops of Harry's blood, but wait ten minutes for the potion to fully settle in their body."
"Does this normally happen when someone uses a blood adoption potion?" Zelestia was concerned as she lifted Harry off the ground.
"No, I'm just as confused as to why this happened." Amelia answered. "Though I do have a few theories. Once the potion settles, we can have him take the inheritance test to figure out why this happened. I am more curious as to why that wraith was in Harry's scar."
"Exactly what I was thinking, Madam Director." GripHook frowned. "That is a Horcrux, very vile magic. We of the Nation have a very large distaste of them, and will destroy them when we find them. The fact that the wraith from the one in the young child's scar dived deeper into the bank means there is one hidden here made of the same soul. As long as they exist, the wizard or witch that created it will continue to be alive, though possibly without a body for quite a while."
"Are you able to tell just how many they made, and where they are?" Amelia jumped into her working state of mind. "I will need to know who did it so I can put out some of my aurors to find the culprit."
"Leave those abominations to us unless you happen to stumble upon one." GripHook gestured her to sit down once again. He took a sip of the tea he had on his desk. "They may be behind many wards, and we are better equipped to find them. In the mean time, I believe we are ready to try the test."
Taking a moment to get the inheritance test done, they saw the paper glow for a minute. Looking it over, they found Harry to be a metamorphmagus, and to have had his core bound by eighty-five percent. Long discussions about how to move forward, kept the group busy until noon, when the two adults took Harry/Hari to get new clothes and lunch.
Hogwarts Express, Scotland September 2, 1991
Five years passed in the blink of an eye for Harry, or Hari when they decide to use their base female form. Learning from the others when they didn't have to be in Muggle Primary school was always a blast, as they learned all kinds of things with their friends. (AN: I'm going to use they/them for this part, but pay attention to when Harry/Hari is talking, because I will denote which form they are in by he/she pronouns.) While they learned all the basics, like reading, writing, and math in the Muggle world, they spent the evenings in Elyose learning magic and weapon-craft. Though, most of the teachings they had with their friends were to have multiple Classes the lot of them could swap between for different times.
Hari was brought out of her thoughts as the train shook, signaling its departure from the platform. She was wondering why her friends were taking so long for them to decide who was sitting in the compartment with her, only for her thoughts to be answered. Veyle, Nel, and Goldmary opened the door, though Veyle looked a little sad.
"What's up, Veyle?" Hari asked as she looked over, her hair covering her left eye moved as she turned, revealing her purple eye. "I was starting to get worried since you all were taking so long."
"It is nothing to be worried about, Hari." Nel sat across from Hari as Goldmary sat next to Nel. "The last two to play for the rights to sit here with you was between Alear and Goldmary. The outcome is obvious."
Goldmary moved one of her hands to her face as she closed her eyes. "I apologize for being to charming. I wasn't trying to separate the dragonesses of our group of friends."
"Veyle slightly laughed. "It's fine. I was just hoping to spend more time with Big Sister today. I know it hasn't been easy for her and Ivy. Both are rulers, yet have been shrunken back to childhood." She opened her expanded bag, and took out a few water bottles. "I barely get to spend time with her, and most of that has been on our homework from elementary school."
"I know what you mean. the last two school years didn't leave us with a lot of free time, and with the two having to use proxies to pass on their orders for the nations, it took a lot of their time." Hari agreed as she reached in her own bag and pulled out a box. "How about we play a game of 'Knights and Wyverns?' From what Robin told me, Risk was similar, but I like this game better, as it feels like I'm home when playing."
"Oh, I'll play with you." Goldmary agreed as she and Nel traded seats. "Just don't complain when I win due to my charisma."
Thirty minutes later, their game was interrupted when a boy with red hair opened the door without knocking. He looked about the occupants of the room for a moment before his eyes landed on the scar on the right side of Hari's forehead. His eyes lit up, before becoming confused.
"Ah, there you are, Harry. I've been looking all over for you. Though why are you dressed like a girl?" He then grabbed Veyle's wrist and pushed her out of the compartment. "You and the other girls can leave. We need a compartment for just us two blokes." Right as he finished speaking, he was slapped, and pushed out, with Veyle being pulled back into the compartment.
"I have no idea why you were looking for me, nor how you recognized me, but I will not tolerate you being rude to my friends." Hari was stood over the boy, as he had tripped when she pushed him out.
"Come on, Harry. I'm your best mate, Ron Weasely." the boy introduced himself. "I recognized your scar. And if you aren't tolerating rudeness to your friends, then why are you defending that dark witch that slapped me?" Ron pointed at Nel.
"We are not friends, get that straight, Weasely. "Harry glared at the boy in front of her. "I do not know you, and have no intention of doing so, if this rudeness is what I can expect from you. To you, I am to be called Heir Potter. As for why I look like a girl, I am a Metamorphmagus. I use this form when I do not want the attention that my fame gets me. I do not like being famous for something that cost me my parents. Nel has naturally red eyes, and is not a 'dark witch' as you called her. Go bother someone else." Hari slammed the door shut, locking it as she did so. She retook her seat, resuming the game, but her mind, and those of her friends were not in the game.
It would be fifteen minutes later before the boy left as he tried and failed to open the door, and another seven hour before they would arrive at Hogsmead Station. Hari just wished she could enjoy a quiet school year with her friends, unaware of what was waiting for them at Hogwarts.
AN: Hey guys! Yes, I am still alive. I've just been very busy this year. No, this story does not mean the other three that have become my Big Three are being forgotten. I actually had this pop into my head as I was writing Last War Maiden's Ch.3. I am working on the finishing touches for all three of them, and they will be ready by Christmas Day. I may have managed this in between working on the other three, but I hope this at least tides you guys over for a few days while you wait on the main attractions to be finished.
Hope you guys enjoyed this, and it will be a thing, just like the others. My updates will be sporatic, but that's just due to my life away from the computer. I will do my best to do better, but I make no promises as life has a funny way of getting in the way at times.
VRDTrio, signing out for a few days.
