"I'm neither Slug or Guru..I'm your nightmare!"
Age 762, Planet Namek.
Namek has been invaded by Frieza and his men. Hundreds of Namekians were slaughtered opposing Frieza who desired the dragonballs, all hope was lost.
Until the arrival of the Earthlings who are pure of heart starting aiding the survivors of Namek.
Guru is now sitting in his chair, observing the situation at hand after meeting the Z-fighters and releasing their potential. Nail standing by his side along with Dende.
Coughing violently, alerting the two. "Lord Guru!?" Nail worried about his elder health, but the elder Namek shakes his head.
"I'm fine my child, I'm tired of seeing my people dying, it's becoming unnerving as I'm not sure even with the people from Earth can be enough for that tyrant whose power is too high." He warned.
"But Guru there must be a way still, you said so yourself there's a hero amongst them that can save us." Nail reminded his elder who still nodded his head.
"I'm aware, but still I don't want to take anymore chances, I have an important decision to make as my time is coming to an end. Nail bring me the jar that contains the Abyssal."
CRACK, the sound of the warrior Namek reaction at the request, times must be dire if Guru is thinking of releasing him. "But sir, such atrocities should nev-"
"I'm demanding you." Both Dende and Nail flinched at their elders' tone, Nail conceded as he knew that Guru wouldn't do something so drastic without reason.
Moments later, Nail brought the containment jar that contains the Abyssal, covered in red markings, its aura leaks out a dark blue mist.
"Dende, please come closer child." The small Namekian obeyed as he inch closer to the elder who placed his hand on his head as images and knowledge passed to Dende.
This was all too much for Dende who nearly fainted but caught himself, "I'm sorry child, but you have potential to be a great guardian one day so it's important that you know more of your people." Something the boy himself was grateful for and bowed thanking him.
"Lord Guru, what's the reason to bring the Abyssal here? You know more than anyone why they were banished from Namek, especially him."
"Soon you'll understand why I'm doing what I'm doing Nail, besides there is a greater evil on this planet and I'm certain he will understand as we're once the same."
The history between the Abyssal Namekians and the warrior dragon clan members was a dark time period before the catastrophe that purged the planet.
Signalling Nail to open the jar, reluctant but respectful to his master's decision he opens the jar that soon releases the Abyssal as its dark ki burst through, breaking the roof of Guru's house as the sun is clouded in darkness but for a moment.
Coming out of the jar would be a Namekian in yellow, purple clothes, his face has a scar on his cheek, standing tall as he now emerges and stretches, finally free from his imprisonment.
"I'm free? Who would be foolish enough to do such a thing?" His eyes are met by another Namekian who's on guard at his presence before looking over at the child Namekian then at Guru.
Spat, "You've gotten old and quite fat." His disrespect put Nail on edge but before he could do anything rash, Guru intervened.
"Slug, I would say it's great seeing you again but we both know that would be a lie." Something they both can agree on as the mere presence of not just him but his "children" makes him want to commit homicide.
"What is it that you want? You finally released me after all these years but you foolish to do so in your condition, you realize through that peon brain that I'm fit to be this planet's ruler after all?" Eager to press the situation, but still cautious knowing Guru there's a trick at play.
"Don't be foolish, you must be aware by now our people are dying."
Those words were like candy to Slug as he detested the weaker Namekians, "Please don't insult me, like these inferior creatures are kin to me, what is it this time? This planet's climate is still the same so it can't be a disaster."
Yes, though it had been thousands of years his senses hadn't rustred.
'What is this?' This power he just felt was extremely powerful, even more than his own and they're more although weaker, but strong power levels.
Not showing it physically but his mind is racing at how such power can be, but that's not all.
His ki is also pure evil, but he refuses to believe it's darker than his own, whoever this is must be dealt with.
"You feel it too." Both of the other Namekians are just watching everything unfold as the two counterparts stare at each other.
"I demand answers, what's been going on here?" Guru however will not answer much to the Abyssal frustration. "Answer me!" Aiming at the elder but is forced back as ki didn't come out of his hand.
"You think after being free for so long you would have some change in your heart, but you're still the same fool me and father had to seal." Slug would be furious.
"Unrestrict my ki that Gast took from me, NOW."
"I'm unable to do so, father magic is something beyond my powers, even with the knowledge of how the properties work." Guru continues. "Our father didn't kill you because he knew of the possibility of us needing to work together one day, today is that day."
Nail was shocked to hear this but Dende, aware that Guru shared more than just his guardianship.
"But Lord Guru, we still need you. If you really need to merge then try with me and not this demon." He pointed at the wicked Namekian.
"I'm afraid if I were to do that Nail it wouldn't be enough to take out this tyrant, besides Slug and I were once one much like the son of Katas, we'll be enough to stop this threat." Nail tears start to swell in his eyes. "Fear not my son, young Dende here is now guardian, he will need you to guide him, our planet can be rebuilt."
Slug shock at this news, but he'll laugh. "So we'll merge then? I assume that works fine with me especially if it gives me my ki back, plus I can't have you dying otherwise I'll die." He begins walking up to Guru, ignoring everyone else in the room.
"On one condition, if I allow this you can't torment the people on this planet." Slug disgust at Guru's pure heart makes him sick, knowing that merging with him will play some influence in his decisions as he wont be full of evil anymore.
"No promises, but rest assured this child will be safe, after all I got some wishes I intend to make."
Guru simply grinned, something about that made Slug unease but he'll ignore for now.
"I'm the obvious vessel for this fusion." Something that Guru didn't oppose, after all Slug is the capable body.
Placing his hand on Slug, he takes one last look at both of his children. "Takecare Dende, Nail. This isn't goodbye forever, once me and Slug merged he'll no longer have a heart full of wickedness, my influence will be able to balance out the hate."
Slug with a bored expression, "You underestimate me old fool, the only thing you're doing is making sure I'm once again on top of the pecking order. Now hurry up with the process." Running out of patience.
They both are engulfed in their own ki as Guru starts fusing with Slug as both of their power pushes Nail and Dende back as their energy signature creating shockwaves.
Static is formed as both warriors are now merged into one. His structure is filled out, now standing at 8ft, his body is lean, his muscles are smooth but formed, still having a scar on his cheek his skin is still the same shade of green on the darker side, his presence appears wise but yet malevolent.
Taking off his gloves for a moment, staring at his hands as his pointy nails clench his hands. Not liking his current attire when he was entirely Slug he materialized a new outfit.
Now adorned in a white cloak, the symbol in the middle of his chest reads "King", his scarf is purple, that matches his cape, and his boots.
Nail brings Dende closer to him, not sure what to expect as Guru is whole with Slug again but knowing how fusion works Slug is the dominant of the two but his appearance has such a drastic change, although he still strongly resembles him.
"Who are you?" He questioned the Abyssal.
In just a second his neck is covered by the stretched hands of the Fused Namek which startled Dende.
"I'm neither Slug or Guru, I remember my name..Daikara." Nail life is seeping out of him before he lets go, dropping him as he takes off.
"Nail are you alright?" He rushes towards his elder Namek, as Nail waves him off catching his breath.
'Such power, he can win.' He acknowledged.
Battlefield
The Z-fighters and Vegeta are cornered by the Ginyu force, mainly Recoome who got our heroes on the ropes.
Everyone on the Ginyu force finds this funny.
"Man, look at them, Recoome is going to take all the fun from us." Burter commented, as Jeice nodded in agreement.
"What makes you think they had a shot anyway mate? These fools never stood a chance."
Vegeta holding his left arm, analyzing the situation before him.
"We don't stand a chance against him, damn it if only I was able to summon the dragon and wish for immortality." The prince of all Saiyans is frustrated as it seems his life is closing in on him.
Recoome who mocks them decides to speak up. "Give it a rest Vegeta, even if you had the dragonballs you would still find a way to mess up the wish." He laughs before everyone's expression starts to change.
"Woah what's that?" A bald monk questioned, as he felt a huge power coming this way.
Gohan who's half responsive as he leans on Krillin. "I don't know but whoever it is, his power is massive." He ponders if it is his dad but then he senses the cruelty within its ki.
"Burter, is your scouter reading that power level?"
"Yea it's insane, It's higher than the captain Ginyu, and it is not Lord Frieza's." Speculating who it could be.
"Kakarot? No this energy is too dark, even I can feel how dark it is." Vegeta remarked.
ZIP, Slug-Daikara appears. Landing in front of Recoome.
Observing his surroundings, from his memories of Guru he knew of the Earthlings and the other invaders.
"Huh? There's more of you Nameks eh? Allow me to pummel you." Recoome wouldn't be ready however for what next.
Reading his power level once more, "5000?" Relieved as the scouter seems to have malfunctioned earlier.
"Man, we really need new scouters. But for a Namek 5000 not too bad."
Daikara just looks at Recoome. "Are you just going to stare or do I have to make the first move?" Eager to test out his new powers.
"You got some mouth on you, here take this!" In an instant Recoome let out a furious blast out of his mouth, heading towards the Namek who just stood there as it erased everything in front of him.
No trace left, Recoome starts celebrating. "Knew he was just all talk." Burter and Jeice look on in fear.
"Recoome behind you!" His comrades warned but it was too late as the menacing Namekian ripped out his heart.
Everyone looks on in horror as the now dead Recoome gushes out blood as Slug removes his hand from his once heart was placed as he fell down.
Crush, Then a simple ki blast that eradicated his entire existence, leaving a sizable crater.
"Now, let's hope you two can make it better than your friend." His blood lust was raging but before they could flee, Burter and Jeice were erased by the Daikara ki wave.
"Pathetic." Disappointed by their pathetic power.
"This is bad, I thought Namekians beside Piccolo were peaceful." Krillin shaking in fear at this newcomer.
Gohan watches on as he is also speechless.
Vegeta also is on edge, believing they will be next.
"Excuse me sir." Gohan gains the Namekian attention, as he eyes down at the little Saiyan.
"Thank you for saving us." He said so innocently.
Daikara is disgusted at the suggestion of him saving them, he could crush them next but as of now he senses two more powers, specifically the huge power level he plans on dealing with next.
"Save your thanks, I wanted to test my new body and they were the strongest ones nearby, I could care less if y'all die. But you boy, your potential is high, perhaps I will make you my underling." Not liking the sound of that, Gohan steps slowly back with Krillin near.
"Listen buddy, I don't know what you're getting at but we're the good guys, trying to help save your planet."
Laughing his voice filled with genuine laughter. "This weak planet isn't mine, it belongs to that pathetic Guru, but now he's fused with me." Showing off his power, brushing everyone back.
"Take this as a warning maggots, stay out of my way and I'll spare y'all this once." Blasting off in a rush, leaving them to themselves.
Silence, "Well at least he didn't insult my height." Krillin joked but Vegeta quickly told him to shut up.
Time passed, Goku made it on Namek, sensing all of the powers on the planet, two of them worried him as one was definitely Frieza, someone King Kai already warned him about.
But this other power, it wasn't particularly high but something stands out. "I worry about that later, I need to check my friends and son.
Senzu beans strapped to his waist, he rushes towards the scene at hand.
Almost instantly he's surrounded by the Z-fighters, Krillin and Gohan rush towards him, happy to see him.
"Hey guys, what did I miss?"
Krillin relayed the news, Vegeta shortly left after Slug exit.
"So this Namekian sounds like bad news too, but sounds to me he's after Frieza more than anything otherwise y'all be dead."
Agreeing, "But there has got to be something we can do. His power is phenomenal but we can still sneak with the dragon balls."
"No point, the dragon balls are currently deactivated." Nail approaches the Z-warriors with Dende next to him.
"Dende!" Gohan greeted his friend, who was also happy to see him.
Further explanation was discussed.
"So Dende Namek's guardian huh, pretty impressive, but that means we won't be able to revive our friends since Guru gave away guardianship." Somber news as their trip seems to be in vain.
"Not exactly Goku, I have the knowledge of making the dragonballs and since Guru already transferred guardianship I just need 3 months for Porunga to reactivate."
Good news for them, but there's another issue at hand.
"We still have to worry about Frieza and Slug. I'm sure neither of them are going to just leave once they realize the dragon balls are null." Krillin mentioned.
"I'm sure Frieza will try something but I'm certain Slug won't, he knows it's useless for him to use the dragon balls." This got everyone's attention which caused Dende to shy away for a bit.
"Guru passed more than just his guardianship but his memories on the Abyssal, particularly Slug." This was a little overwhelming but he kept on. "Slug won't be able to make another wish from the dragon balls, as Gast the previous guardian redesign Porunga to forbid Namekians with tainted hearts to make a wish."
This was big news however something was not adding up.
"Then what prevented him from destroying this planet when he could have?"
"Simple really." Nail speaks. "He's whole again, despite what he claims Guru influence is stronger than what he makes it out to be, he's no longer of pure evil and from the legends Slug rather conquer than destroy."
'If he and Guru one in the same, and now merged, he knows that the Earth has dragon balls, so in that case he's definitely playing the long game until our dragon balls are working again.' The excitement of facing Slug is too good to pass up, but he knows he is nowhere near his level right now.
"For now I say we stay clear of those two as they are surely running into each other. Only intervene when the planet is in trouble." Everyone agrees.
Frieza ship.
"What is this Ginyu?" Frieza questions as the dragon balls are turned to stone.
Ginyu puzzled, "I don't know Lord Frieza, the dragon balls were just orange an hour ago, maybe they have an off switch?" He suggested.
Frieza's impatience grows, "Well they better have an on switch, I got a wish of immortality to make."
"I'm certain that wish won't come." Outside of his ship, Frieza and Ginyu were caught off guard.
Moving out of the way of the ki blast Slug sent that destroyed the ship.
''To think that power I was sensing was one of Cold's children." Said the amused Namek, his arms crossed as Frieza had a puzzled look on his face.
"Sorry, don't think we've met before? Besides that, how dare you destroy my ship that held the dragon balls, you will pay dearly for that." Frieza threatened.
"Will I now? I'd like to see you try." Just like that he dashes at the Acrosian and gives him a hard uppercut to his chin, before grabbing his arm and twirls him around before tossing him up in the air, which Frieza tries to regain control.
Slugs speed is too much for him for one second he's in his face which Frieza lets off a rapid Death beam but misses, before his back gets crushed as it sends him against the ground, leaving a dent on the ground.
Ginyu is shocked to see Frieza getting bested like this, frightened at the ruthless Namekian.
Crawling out of the hole he was just in, Frieza is bruised and covered in scars.
Annoyed, he'll be pretty intrigued at the same time. "You're quite strong, if I were to guess you're responsible as to why the rest of the Ginyu force hadn't shown up." Yes he's positive.
"Hah! Let's say I relieved them of their duties." His sarcastic tone bothers Frieza who just laughs it off.
"You're strong, join me. I could use someone like you in my forces." Ginyu who kept a distance away couldn't believe to hear his team being wiped out and Frieza's offer.
"No thanks, I'm the Daikara, a Super Namek and Demon King. I'm the only ruler."
Frieza just shakes his head, disappointed. "Such a shame, to see such talent being snuffed very well. You may be stronger than me in my first form, but I currently have three more at my disposal."
Slug was surprised at this, but nonetheless pleased to know he can get stronger, after all he's not close to testing the limits of his powers yet.
"Then don't keep me waiting, transform and please make it count because I won't give you another chance so make this one count." Felt disrespected by the Namekian cocky attitude.
Beginning to power up, as his body begins morphing, Slug waits patiently, certain he has enough power in his arsenal to destroy him.
Vegeta, recovered now fully healed, is stunned at Frieza's power. "So it's true, Frieza DOES have another form. How terrifying it feels." Realization kicked in on how futile it was for him to think he could win.
Goku and the others share the same reaction as they feel Frieza's ki rising.
"To think someone wields this much power." Gohan tries to block the wind from his eyes, while the others struggle to stand at their position.
Frieza now in his fourth and true form, the waves start to calm, the atmosphere lighten a bit, the Acrosian in his white, purple glowing glory starts to chuckle.
"Well Namek, what do you think? This is what you wanted, yes?" Ready to teach this Namek a lesson in respect.
"Oo such power, allow me to turn it up a notch too." On cue, his power steadily increases as his blue aura ignites his entire body, muscles slightly bulk, the ground beneath him craves in as his ki rises.
In the otherworld, King Kai would be watching the fight ever since he heard about what's been going on in Namek and with Frieza's involvement.
The otherworld Z-fighters are seen training, Piccolo who appeared disinterested with everyone was keen on King Kai's apparent nervousness.
'Guru really freed and merged with Slug. I don't know what I'd rather deal with, Slug power far exceeds Frieza.'
Back on Namek, Slug finishes powering up, a blue glow outlines his body as he watches Frieza who is still blinded by his own arrogance.
"Yes, I'll let you make the first move." Stated by the Abyssal Namekian, Frieza finds the Namekian cockiness annoying.
In quick fashion he socks him in the jaw, which Slug trajects back as he starts plumbing the Namekian into a boulder before using his tail swirl around his neck, as Slug still flinging in the air as the Acrosian tosses him in the air.
Shooting multiple death beams at his opponent, as Slug recovers shielding himself as the barrage of ki attacks lands on him.
Everything would be covered in smoke, as the icy tyrant cruel grin is displayed.
"You've gotten too cocky in your own strength and what did that leave you? Just another victim, but be proud you're the first one to ever see my true form besides my loving family."
"Is that so? Then I'm honored "my lord". The smoke clears as stood Slug with a toothy grin on his face, much to the shock of Frieza.
"But how? You should be dead?" Slug finds this too amusing.
"Never thought Cold son would be this dense, you don't see? My power is second to none, I have no equal." His blood lust grows, "Yes, allow me to torture you some more so you get the picture."
Extending his hand to Frieza's neck, choking him as his hands grips around Daikara's arm.
Reeling him closer as he power punches him in his gut, as his fist is bulged through his stomach, Frieza coughs up blood.
Impact of that punch caused his vision to be blurry, this reaction satisfied the deranged Namek.
"Now you understand? I could have ripped through your stomach just now you fool." Frieza's fear is confirmed. Slug allowed him to recover, a sinister smirk plastered his face.
"I won't allow a mere Namek to beat me!" Sending a huge wave of ki point blank at Slug, but now is tumbling in the water as he dodged and elbowed him on his head.
GURGLE, exploding from the ocean, Frieza blood will boil, his eyes bloodshot red.
"You dare mock me, make me look like a fool!? This Planet is as good as dead!" Levitating in the sky.
He'd frown at this, the fact he is trying to destroy the planet while he's on it doesn't sit well, making him defend a planet he hates but in the end it's his investment to keep the planet alive.
Vegeta seeing the infamous death ball form, he hops in one of the space pods belonging to the Ginyu force. "I need to be able to escape before that cretin blows the planet up." Urgence in his voice.
Dende is worried along with the rest of the heroes.
Goku has a determined look on his face, "No need to worry guys, Slug will stop it."
Krillin with panic, "Are you sure about that Goku? That's a lot of ki into that attack."
The Saiyan raised on Earth wouldn't falter however, "I'm confident, besides there's not much we can do." Although not preferred they're forced to trust in Slug.
Back to the scene at hand, the dark ki ball that's covered in red static hovers above Frieza's head, whose face could be confused with a serial killer.
"I killed billions with this attack, so what do you say lizard? Think you're above Lord Frieza still?"
Not responding, Slug silently chants, his right hand covered in mist circulates as his eyes flashed red before returning to normal, Frieza wouldn't move as his body goes slack and his facial expression starts going blank.
"Why can't I move?" Frieza asks no one in particular.
"You probably ran into inhabitants with magical abilities but nobody powerful enough to affect you." His magic has always been impressive even when he was divided into two people, but now that he's one again magic that was lost is now found, even newer abilities he has yet to test out.
Now how to end this? His mind wanders on what to do, he wants this to be as messy as possible.
Frieza's death ball will cease to exist, materializing a spear of ki he struck it to Frieza's neck, decapitating him, as blood began to rain, much to the horror on Ginyu's face as he watched the scene unfold from a savable distance.
His now lifeless body drops on the ground, it was the end of the tyrant but a new terror is amongst the universe.
Walking to the severed head of Frieza who expressed fear and resignation.
Picking it up as if it's a trophy, what's next for the Demon King?
"This planet will have to wait for the dragonballs to be made again under Dende, which means it'll take longer for the Earth dragon balls to be accessible for me."
Seeing no point sticking around, with Namek's population being depleted, it's a moot point. Just then.
"I need to leave and relay the message that Lord Frieza has been killed." Turning to find his pod, he bumps into a menacing Namekian.
Fear on his face as he sees the severed head of his fallen Lord in the hands of the man in front of him.
Bracing for the worst, knowing he's next, it's all over for him as he tries his hardest not to break eye contact.
"You're one of Frieza's highest ranking officers correct?" He nods slowly."Good for now you'll take me to his main base of operations, if you value your life."
Surprised that he's not going to die, for now at least he complies and leads him the way to one of the pods.
'In the meantime I can move on to my next plan of actions, spreading my dominance on the North galaxy.'
That's all folks, hope you enjoy the read. I wanted a story that follows a villain as the main character, and Slug was always that character that was unique but extremely underrated.
Also heavily inspired by Gast Carcolh from Dragonball multiverse. Also to clear any confusion his name is Daikara, but to keep it simple he'll go by Slug or sometimes Slug-Daikara.
