"Master! We need reinforcements!", Ahsoka Tano shouted to Obi-Wan Kenobi. The Separatists were closing in on them and Ahsoka knew they needed to do something.

"Reinforcements are coming!", Obi-Wan shouted to her. In the distance, they watched as dust and sand swirled around an unknown figure. They knew, for a fact, that it wasn't a droid. It was much too tall to be a mere B1 battle droid. And it wasn't tall enough to be General Grievous either. It could, however, be Ventress.

"Master, what is that?", Ahsoka asked, knowing that she could potentially risk her life by fighting whatever was advancing towards them. The figure continued to advance toward them until their features became visible. The figure was a young man with curly brown hair down to his shoulders. He wore black robes and had yellow eyes. Ahsoka thought he looked to be about nineteen. Obi-wan's jaw dropped. Ahsoka turned to him. "Do you know him, Master?", she asked. Obi-Wan stroked his beard thoughtfully.

"A long time ago, yes". The man stepped even closer to them.

"Well, well, well", he said darkly. "If it isn't Obi-Wan Kenobi and his little padawan". Obi-Wan clenched his fists in rage.

"Anakin Skywalker", he said through gritted teeth. "You won't get away this time". He reached for his lightsaber, but Anakin was too quick. His red lightsaber slashed Obi-Wan's arm, leaving a lightsaber wound.

"Oh, I think I will", Anakin said with a twisted sense of satisfaction as Obi-Wan fell to the ground, clutching his arm in pain.

"Ahsoka, go!", he shouted. Tears rolled down Ahsoka's cheeks.

"No, Master! I'm not leaving you!", she shouted.

"You must!", Obi-Wan shouted back. He knew that Ahsoka wouldn't leave so easily, but he still tried to convince her because he didn't want her to risk her life to save him.

"Master, I can't!", Ahsoka shouted, devastated. She felt a hand on her shoulder.

"Come on, Ahsoka", Rex said. "We need to get to the gunships", he finished.

"I promise you'll see me again", Obi-Wan said weakly, clutching his arm. Ahsoka nodded, tears still rolling down her cheeks. She reluctantly let Rex pull her to the gunships, where Masters Luminara, Secura, Windu, Mundi, and all of the clones, including Cody and Fives, were waiting for them. They boarded the only gunship that still had space, which happened to be where all the Jedi Masters were. Aayla Secura placed a hand on Ahsoka's shoulder.

"I'm so sorry you had to leave Master Kenobi", the Twi'Lek said thoughtfully. "I remember the time when I had to leave my Master, Quinlan Vos", she continued. "I know how you feel and I'll always want to help you when you need me to, " she said.

"Thanks, Master Secura", Ahsoka replied. Aayla nodded before removing her hand from Ahsoka's shoulder.

Once the gunship landed on the Jedi Temple landing pad, Ahsoka and the Jedi Masters walked out. Ahsoka stopped and let the Masters go ahead of her because she needed to contact her friend, Padmé Amidala. She clicked on her comlink and contacted Padmé. Padmé's voice sounded through the comlink.

"Ahsoka?", she asked. "Is everything okay?". Ahsoka felt the urge to cry but could hold back her tears for a little bit longer.

"No", she responded. "Can you meet me by the entrance to the Temple?", she asked, still fighting the urge to cry.

"Of course", Padmé responded.

"Thank you", Ahsoka responded before clicking on her comlink. She took several breaths before walking up the many stone stairs that led up to the Jedi Temple. Once she reached the entrance, she saw Padmé waiting for her. Her thick brown hair was pulled back in her usual bun and she wore her usual padawan attire; a long-sleeved white shirt with white pants and a silver belt that held her lightsaber.

"What happened?", Padmé asked, a flicker of concern crossing her face. Ahsoka couldn't hold back her tears anymore.

"W-while Master Kenobi and I were t-taking back an outpost on Geonosis, there was an ambush", Ahsoka said through tears.

"What kind of ambush?", Padmé asked.

"T-there was a Sith and he hurt Master Kenobi!", Ahsoka wailed.

"Do you happen to know what the Sith's name was?", Padmé questioned.

"I heard Obi-Wan call him Anakin Skywalker", Ahsoka said while sniffling.

"Hmmmm...I think I've heard of him", Padmé responded, trying to think of where she heard his name.

"You have?", Ahsoka asked, hoping to get as much information as possible.

"Yes...", Padmé responded. "I think I was in a war briefing with the council, and I remember Master Windu saying something about him".

"What did Master Windu say?", Ahsoka asked, hoping that Padmé remembered.

"I remember him saying something about Anakin being apprenticed to the Sith Lord the Republic is after".

"You mean Darth Sidious?", Ahsoka asked.

"Yes, that's it. Anakin Skywalker is Darth Sidious' apprentice", Padmé responded. "That means he's dangerous".

"I was aware of that earlier!", Ahsoka teased.

"Yeah, you told me that he hurt Obi-Wan", Padmé responded, rolling her eyes.

"I just can't get over it!", Ahsoka wailed. "He's probably dead for all I know!", she said through tears.

"Shhh... it's going to be alright", Padmé reassured her. "Obi-Wan is strong. He won't give up so easily". Ahsoka nodded gingerly, wiping her tears away. She could only hope that Obi-Wan wouldn't give up.

"Now, you should go get some rest", Padmé suggested. "If you need anything, let me know", she finished.

"Thanks, Padmé", Ahsoka said. Padmé nodded at her before turning and walking away. Ahsoka did the same and proceeded to her assigned quarters. When she walked in, she immediately collapsed onto her bed and started sobbing. Eventually, she calmed down, but she still couldn't fall asleep. She couldn't fall asleep knowing that Obi-Wan had been hurt, captured, and even dead. She couldn't fall asleep until she knew if he was okay. Carefully, she reached out through the Force to communicate with him, only to find that she couldn't enter his mind. Ahsoka eventually cried herself to sleep and started dreaming. As the night went on, her dreams turned to nightmares.

I was going to make this chapter longer but decided that this was a good place to leave it. Also, I'm sorry the chapter was so short. The next one will be longer. I promise. Leave reviews, and please, no flames.
