A/N: Hello everyone, I am back with chapter nineteen of this story. Here, the events of "I Order you, Suzaku Kururugi" are covered.

Disclaimer: I don't own Code Geass

Things began with another monologue by C.C.

"I'm sick of these." grumbled Kallen.

Inoue was heard in voice-over being amazed how they went from having trouble getting a single motorcycle to now having a submarine.

"The military district of India will be in big trouble if the Britannians find out." noted Inoue.

"We had suspicions they were getting outside help but, we weren't sure from where." revealed Guilford.

"It seems the High Eunuchs had some knowledge, but were content trying to undermine Britannia." added Xingke.

"How'd she do it?" asked Inoue.

"You should thank the Old Geezer." answered Rakshata.

Zero was laying out their new reorganization.

"I imagine this is the reorganization Diethard laid out." mused Gino.

"Our new Chief of Military Affairs will be Kyoshiro Tohdoh." said Zero.

"An obvious choice." noted Lloyd.

"Taking charge of intelligence, espionage, and public relations, Diethard Reid." continued Zero.

"Logically speaking, he does seem like a good choice." shrugged Milly.

"Zero, I'm not a racist..." began Chiba.

"Saying "I'm not racist" usually means what you're going to say next is racist." stated Lloyd.

"What's your reasoning for putting one of them in such a sensitive position?" asked Chiba.

"Point proven." said Lloyd.

"I'm not Japanese either. You know this. What matters is the ability to produce results. Who you are where you're are of little consequence." answered Zero.

Kaguya couldn't help but smile.

"If only we had followed such a creed." sighed Villetta.

"My Deputy Commander will be Kaname Oghi." continued Zero.

Oghi was surprised but didn't object.

"You were our leader too begin with." noted Sugiyama.

"Then that bastard Lelouch wormed in way in." spat Tamaki.

"And our Prime Minister folded like a house of cards." muttered Kaguya.

Rakshata was put in charge of research and development and Kallen was named Captain of the Zero Squad.

"An elite guard under my direct command. Think of yourselves as my personal force." explained Zero.

"You seem quite happy." noted Rivalz.

"I was put into a very elite position. Of course, I was." said Kallen defensively.

Zero continued explaining positions before Suzaku was briefly show.

"What was that?" asked Minami.

"And Tamaki will lead the Second Special Forces. That is all." concluded Zero.

"I'm the man!" declared Tamaki.

"Had we known that, we would have found our easiest target." mused Guilford.

This led to laughs even among the Japanese.

"There's no position for C.C.?" asked Kallen.

"She's Zero's dick rider." said Tamaki.

Diethard mentioned there was still a problem that needed to be addressed. It then cut to Suzaku's coronation.

"That answers my question." noted Minami.

Various nobles present quietly voiced their disapproval.

"Geez, they're really not cutting him a break." noted Rivalz.

"It's no surprise." stated Anya.

"Even a princess had needs, right?" asked a noble scandalously.

"What was that?!" asked Cornelia outraged.

At Ashford Academy, the two racist students were watching in disbelief as an uncomfortable Nina sat nearby.

"Suzaku, thank you for serving Princess Euphemia." whispered Nina.

As the ceremony was commencing, Nunnally was shown with Sayoko.

"I was so happy for Suzaku." said Nunnally sadly.

"You had no idea what was coming." noted Sayoko.

Cecile and the other members of the ASECC were talking when the subject of Suzaku's payroll came up.

"I believe Lloyd's already working on that." noted Cecile.

"You mean...with him?" asked another member.

"It's not like I've ever met him." said Cecile.

"Um...who are you talking about?" asked Milly.

"Prince Schneizel." answered Cecile.

"It's about time he got involved." said Xingke.

"Yeah! The guy that exposed Lelouch! A true, good guy!" declared Tamaki.

"You, naive fool." murmured Cornelia.

Suzaku was knighted and faced the unhappy crowd. Lloyd began applauding being the only one until Darlton began applauding. At that point, the others in attendance reluctantly applauded.

"It is a shame General Darlton was killed. He seemed to be an upstanding person." said Tohdoh.

"Thank you." replied Cornelia happily.

It then returned to the Black Knights.

"Suzaku Kururugi. He's become a focal point among Elevens who are Britannian supporters." began Diethard.

"The word is traitors." spat Sugiyama.

"I recommend we assassinate him." said Diethard.

"Oh geez!" cried Rivalz.

"The Britannians will hold this boy up as a symbol." explained Diethard.

"Exactly what Schneizel did." mused Lloyd.

"The Japanese would be revolted by such a cowardly act." countered Tohdoh.

"Would they though?" asked Guilford.

"Of course." said Tohdoh.

"He is the son of Japan's last pre-invasion Prime Minister." said Oghi.

"He was also a traitor." said Kallen coldly.

"And the Black Knights aren't in the business of killing the defenseless, either!" declared Oghi.

"I don't know if I'd call an enemy solider "defenseless" exactly." noted Xianglin.

"What do you want us to do? Get him alone and kill him straight out?" asked Oghi.

"That would be an effective way to assassinate someone." shrugged Rakshata.

"The only way to eliminate Suzaku would too be in on the battlefield." stated Tohdoh.

"War isn't about honor. War is about eliminating your opponents." countered Cornelia.

Lelouch was sitting and thinking about the situation as C.C. laid nearby.

"Just use your Geass on Kururugi." said C.C.

Suzaku couldn't help but wince under his mask.

"Why not? Because he's your friend, or is it pride?" asked C.C.

"All of it." answered Lelouch.

"You might have to kill him otherwise." said C.C.

"See! He doesn't want to kill Kururugi because they're going to work together!" declared Tamaki.

"I thought we settled that." muttered Villetta.

"I bet Lelouch used Geass to make Kururugi join him!" declared Tamaki.

"Which would mean all of Suzaku's actions weren't his doing." noted Kaguya, almost hopeful.

It then cut to Euphemia having a video call with Cornelia.

"Suzaku Kururugi is an Honorary Britannian, and he's proved himself more than worthy of knighthood." said Euphemia.

Suzaku smiled under his mask.

"Sister, even you..." began Euphemia.

"It's viceroy." said Cornelia, cutting her sister off.

"Cold." said Anya.

Cornelia turned her head, clearly regretting her attitude.

"Discrimination against the Numbers is our national policy." said Cornelia.

"Then it's time I tried to change that!" declared Euphemia.

"It's a shame such a nice person was sullied by her evil brother." sighed Villetta.

"When you become Empress, feel free to do so!" declared Cornelia.

"She would have been a great Empress." stated Kaguya.

Charles was shown at the Thought Elevator talking to seemingly nobody.

"What the hell is he babbling about?" asked Tamaki.

"I'm not fully sure, but it is related to Geass." revealed Cornelia.

"Of course, that douchebag was connected to Geass!" cried Tamaki.

A mysterious man came and whispered something to Charles about Schneizel.

"If he's so sure of himself, let him challenge me." said Charles.

"Challenge him? Like for power?" asked Oghi.

"Unfortunately, typical of our family." sighed Cornelia.

At Ashford, a party was being held to celebrate Suzaku's knighting.

"Wow, it's so...normal." said Minami surprised.

"Reminds me of my days as a teacher." noted Oghi.

"It was so nice of you to do this for Suzaku." said Cecile gratefully.

"It was the least we could do for a friend." replied Milly.

"Or, who we thought was a friend." sighed Rivalz sadly.

Nina was in the Student Council room looking at pictures of Euphemia.

"What am I going to do?" asked Nina flatly.

Nina couldn't hide her embarrassment.

Lloyd arrived and took an interest in the work on Nina's computer.

"I know a uranium isotope when I see one." noted Lloyd.

Nina excitedly went over her work as Lloyd intently watched.

"Is that..." began Chiba.

"F.L.E.I.J.A." confirmed Rakshata.

"Right, she's the bitch who made those." snarled Tamaki.

Nina wished she could hide at the moment.

"It's okay Nina." whispered Lloyd.

Back at the party, Kallen arrived and look to find Suzaku. Shirley called her but, Kallen ignored her and began marching to Suzaku.

"That's kinda of rude." said Rivalz.

Kallen pulled out her purse knife.

"You were going to stab him?!" asked Rivalz horrified.

"Suzaku was our enemy. I was going to eliminate him." answered Kallen.

"Kallen!" exclaimed Oghi.

"It seems someone Japanese agreed with Diethard." noted Rakshata.

"Kallen, you would have thrown your whole student life away." said Oghi.

"I didn't care. I was dedicated to the fight." stated Kallen.

"Frankly, I can't blame her." admitted Chiba.

Lelouch intercepted Kallen who walked away as Suzaku walked over.

"How did he know?" asked Gino.

"He must have seen me and realized something was going on." answered Kallen.

"See, if he didn't want to work with Kururugi he would have let Kallen off him there!" declared Tamaki.

"Hey, what did you want to talk about? You said it was kind of important, right?" asked Suzaku.

"Just forget it." answered Lelouch.

"Why did it have to go this way?" asked Nunnally to herself sadly.

Lloyd and Nina arrived with the former here to get Suzaku.

"Lloyd, is something wrong?" asked Milly.

"Oh, do you guys know each other?" asked Nina.

"We're to be married." answered Lloyd.

Predictably, this led to a wave of surprised reactions.

"I guess you aren't interested in rekindling our relationship." said Lloyd.

"Not really." answered Milly.

"I doubt you would be interested Lloyd." noted Cecile.

"What's going on? Who is this guy?!" asked Rivalz shocked.

"Earl Asplund." answered Milly flatly.

"The Earl of Pudding." said Rakshata.

"Now, what did you say your relationship was again?" asked Rivalz worried.

"She and I are betrothed." answered Lloyd.

Rivalz was left devastated by this news.

"What a wuss." scoffed Tamaki.

"It's okay Rivalz." said Milly warmly.

"An important someone and others are arriving by boat. We're off to met them." answered Lloyd.

"Schneizel." realized Cornelia.

"The one and only ." confirmed Lloyd.

"That explains how Lelouch knew about his coming." mused Kallen.

"Of course, I had no way knowing he was Zero...or maybe I was secretly working with him all along." joked Lloyd.

The Britannian Army was headed to Shikine Island though the reason was unknown.

"Your lose lips got our plans leaked on the Net." said Cecile annoyed.

"That girl was so charming though. I couldn't resist." replied Lloyd.

"Are you kidding me?!" asked Cornelia angrily.

"If you had been in my position, you would have done the same." stated Lloyd.

"Maybe he was being truthful about working with Zero." muttered Guilford.

The Black Knights were headed to Shikine Island as Zero explained what the mission was.

"Our objective is the capture of the Lancelot and Suzaku Kururugi. Once we've won the battle, I want Kururugi taken safely into custody." said Zero.

"So, what happens once we've got him?" asked Tamaki.

"Likely, he would try to recruit him again." answered Rakshata.

"Or force him with Geass." said Tohdoh.

Diethard was watching Rakshara when Zero approached him.

"What did you talk Kallen into doing?" asked Zero.

"I told her to dig up what she could on Kururugi. Maybe I implied a little more than that." answered Diethard.

"No surprise it was him." said Anya.

"Don't overstep your bounds. I don't recall ordering his assassination." replied Zero.

"You want us to be the hammer of justice, right?" asked Diethard.

"That is true." stated Sayoko.

"But we can hide the truth using the media." continued Diethard.

"Something Britannia knows all too well.' noted Lloyd, amused.

"You can't change the world without getting your hands dirty." said Diethard.

"The same thing Lelouch said to Prince Clovis." noted Gino.

"I wish to document you Zero. As you build your organization and topple over the empire then take this world for your own! I wish to be there, to document history as it's created!" declared Diethard.

"What a weirdo!" scoffed Tamaki.

I'd say you're fabricating history." said Zero.

"Objectivity is a fairy tale. In the end, journalism is the product of the human mind." said Zero.

"I'd be curious as to what my ex-fiancée thinks of this. Being the reporter and all." mused Lloyd.

"He is wrong. Journalism is about exposing the truth." replied Milly.

"The Britannian media was more than content to cover the atrocities of its government." spat Chiba.

"Which is why I am allowing for more media freedom." stated Nunnally.

"You're not to interfere in military affairs." warned Zero.

"It's a Lelouch noted: he knows what Diethard wants and allows his majesty to control Diethard." said Jeremiah proudly.

The Britannian contingent had arrived only for the Black Knights to make their move.

"Top-notch security." said Lloyd sarcastically.

The Britannians were quickly taken out. Asahina noticed Kallen easily taken out a Britannian.

"She sure packs a punch." said Asahina impressed.

"Thank you, Asahina-sama." said Kallen gratefully.

Zero watched nearby.

"Impressive It's no wonder Tohdoh held off the Britannians before without a single Knightmare." mused Zero.

"He recognized your skill." noted Jeremiah.

"He recognized I was useful to him." spat Tohdoh.

"I want to note Suzaku was right about Lelouch letting others dop his dirty work." stated Gino.

"He got involved plenty!" snapped Kallen.

"Why are you being defensive about Lelouch?" asked Rakshata curiously.

"I'm just stating a fact." replied Kallen blushing.

The Britannians were unable to get Euphemia back to the Settlement but, Suzaku promised no harm would come to her. Euphemia told Suzaku he should join the defense of the island.

"What if he turns the Lancelot against us?" asked a Britannian officer.

"That "changing the system from within" sure seems to be working." said Kallen sarcastically.

"Kururugi, demonstrate your valor for us today, so that we may finally silence all these naysayers." ordered Euphemia.

"Oh Princess." cooed Nina softly.

The Black Knights were easily destroying the Britannian units.

"I'll finish the job!" declared Tamaki.

The Lancelot immediately destroyed Tamaki's Knightmare.

"I was blindsided!" declared Tamaki.

Suzaku spotted Zero.

"That's right Suzaku. Come." said Zero to himself.

"Maybe he was banging the bitch after all!" cried Tamaki.

"What do you mean?" asked Anya.

"I believe..." began Sayoko.

"He was bottoming for Kururugi!" laughed Tamaki.

This led to an outburst of reactions.

"Of all the disgusting things..." said Chiba.

"How do you know Lelouch would be the bottom?" asked Rakshata.

"He was a total wuss. Kururugi would totally dominate him." answered Tamaki.

"And how would you know this?" asked Sugiyama teasingly.

"What are you implying?!" asked Tamaki, offended.

"Maybe my fantasies were real." muttered Milly.

"I could see that being a popular pairing." confessed Cecile.

The Black Knights retreated and the Lancelot followed.

"Man, Suzaku really scared them." said Rivalz.

"It is a trap." noted Anya.

Lieutenant Colonel Fayer was talking with somebody on the phone. The person's hand was shown revealing who it was.

"Schneizel." sneered Cornelia.

"Are you okay?" asked Guilford.

"I don't like people who shoot me." answered Cornelia.

Zeru led to Suzaku right into a sandpit. Rakshata then pressed a button which activated a Gefjun Disturber that paralyzed the Lancelot.

"The mighty Lancelot is totally helpless." laughed Rakshata.

"We need to talk, Kururugi! I suggest you come out!" declared Zero.

"Suzaku is trapped." noted Rivalz, concerned.

"You'll be treated as a prisoner under international law. Of course, if you don't care to talk, we could just gun you down." said Zero.

"Some options." spat Gino.

Euphemia was unsurprisingly concerned about Suzaku. Cecile was trying to figure out what was wrong when Lloyd figured it out.

"It really is you Rakshata." said Lloyd, worried.

"Guilty as charged." noted Rakshata.

Suzaku and Zero exited their Knightmare Frames. Zero aimed a gun at Suzaku.

"I want you to join me." stated Zero.

"I doubt that will work." said Anya.

"Results gained through contemptible means are worthless to me!" declared Suzaku.

This led to multiple groans.

"If Japan had resisted to its very last breath seven years ago, what do you think would have happened?" asked Zero.

"We would have honorable fought to the end." stated Chiba.

"The Chinese and the EU would've stepped in and split Japan in three." said Zero.

"The most likely outcome." said Tohdoh.

"Xingke?" asked Tianzi.

"The High Eunuchs were very interested in occupying Japan." said Xingke.

"As we shall see soon in Kyushu." added Cornelia.

"What about the EU?' asked Milly.

"We found EU plans to partition Japan: Honshu, Shikoku, and the Bonin Islands would go to Britannia while the EU would take Hokkaido from the Kamchatka peninsula and Sea of Okhotsk." answered Gino.

"The Chinese Federation would get Kyushu. Likely crossing the Tsushima Straight and Ryukyuan Islands." added Anya.

"I've been fighting to preserve my father's peace ever since it began!" declared Suzaku.

"You're wrong. Prime Minister Kururugi, chosen by the people, didn't choose surrender. That decision was selfishly made by his killer." replied Zero.

Suzaku winced under his mask.

"The will of the people stolen from them...by a lone criminal pursuing his own, selfish agenda!" declared Zero.

"That's low." said Rivalz, disappointed.

"I think it's safe to say their friendship is over." said Milly, equally disappointed.

"I hate to say this, but Lelouch isn't wrong." said Chiba.

"Lelouch is right the decision to surrender was not made by my uncle and only made in the chaos that followed his death." noted Kaguya.

"How on Earth do you know that?" asked Suzaku surprised.

"Lelouch was there when that Mao guy revealed it." noted Sugyiama.

"But Suzaku is dense as hell." muttered Kallen.

"I believe it's more likely he did not believe it was Lelouch." countered Tohdoh.

Zero tried coaxing Suzaku into joining him and giving the Japanese the choice they were robbed of.

"Or would you rather drag the masses towards a future dictated by your own, selfish agenda?" asked Zero.

"Of course he would." spat Minami.

"But Lelouch's actions were driven by selfish means, weren't they?" asked Kaguya.

Suzaku was contacted by Lieutenant Colonel Fayer who revealed missiles were being sent to his location.

"Major Kururugi, your orders are to keep Zero there!" declared Fayer.

"They're sacrificing Suzaku." noted Anya.

"And yet that idiot will do it with a smile." said Chiba.

Suzaku turned Zero's gun on him and took him captive.

"I told you!" declared Chiba.

"But he's not smiling." replied Lloyd.

Back at the base: Euphemia, Lloyd, and Cecile wanted to know what was going on. Captain informed them that this was a level one order.

"Then who exactly issued this order, Captain?!" asked Euphemia angrily.

Milly noticed Lloyd looking away.

"You knew." said Milly

"It wasn't hard to figure out honestly." answered Lloyd.

Euphemia pushed past the officers and got into a Knightmare.

"Contact the base! Tell them there's a chance I'll be caught in the attack! See if they'll initiate their attack then!" cried Euphemia.

"What is she doing?!" asked Cornelia horrified.

"Exactly what made her so great." answered Nina smiling.

"Why was I not informed?!" asked Cornelia angrily.

"We were ordered not to say a word." answered Lloyd.

"Schneizel!" snapped Cornelia angrily.

"But they'll stop with the princess out there." said Cecile, worried.

"I'm not sure they will, unfortunately." answered Lloyd.

"Of course. Schenizel is no monster." said Tamaki.

Jeremiah scoffed under his breath.

"Incoming missiles, confirmed!" declared Chiba.

"They must have been fired already." said Oghi defensively.

Kallen raced to rescue Zero, but the Guren was immobilized. Suzaku trapped Zero in the cockpit of the Lancelot.

"You're going to die here as well! Don't you have a problem with that?!" asked Zero stunned.

"Suzaku is suicidal." noted Anya.

"Part of him probably wants to die here." agreed Kaguya sadly.

The Black Knights began shooting down missiles as Kallen exited the Guren and ran to Zero.

"Suzaku, it's Kallen Stadtfeld of the Student Council!" cried Kallen.

"What are you doing?!" asked Rivalz stunned.

"I was trying to save my leader." answered Kallen.

"Even if you got blown up?!" asked Rivalz.

"Yes." answered Kallen firmly.

Euphemia raced to the scene as Suzaku held Zero at gunpoint.

"A soldier must always follow his orders!" declared Suzaku.

"That is silly!" cried Tianzi.

"Unfortunately, I would have agreed until recently." confessed Tohdoh.

The Avalon arrived as Euphemia did the same.

"Well, I'm outdone." said Rakshata surprised.

"Ha!" laughed Lloyd.

The Avalon prepared to fire on the location.

"You're going to die!" cried Zero.

"Better that than breaking the rules!" declared Suzaku.

"That is a trait we must weed out from the new army." stated Nunnally.

"Same." agreed Oghi.

The side of Zero's mask opened and Lelouch activated his Geass.

"That must be where he used his Geass!" declared Tamaki.

"I hate to say this, but he might be right." replied Rakshata.

"Milady, are you okay?" asked Guilford.

"Euphemia was fine." answered Cornelia.

"Do you think Schneizel knew Euphemia was present?" asked Guilford.

"I'm sure he didn't care." answered Cornelia bitterly.

"I still can't believe Suzaku was stupid enough to off himself." scoffed Chiba.

"He did get knighthood." noted Gino.

"And the Britannians were so happy." said Chiba sarcastically.

"Still, it does prove Japanese could rise in rank." replied Gino.

"Only because he was close with Euphemia." countered Oghi.

"Please...let us continue." said Nunnally.

A/N: That's where we'll end things for now. Kaguya saying Euphemia would have been a great Empress was a nod to Nightmare of Nunnally. I find it interesting Zero mentioned "international law" implying there is seemingly some equivalent to the Geneva Convention though it's clear Britannia isn't part of it. This episode is the setup for next time so let's get there. Next time, the events of "Island of the Gods" are covered. Please review.
