It was a sight that even Kurama could agree was impressive to behold.

It took a few minutes, but he was eventually brought to the Elder, who sat calmly in what looked like a study or office with the Combistick sitting on a table before him. {Ah, Naruto, come and have a seat.} The Elder welcomed, causing Naruto to bow his head and come forward before sitting down. {I'm sure you're wondering why I had you come here, Naruto.} The Elder spoke after a minute of silence.

{It had crossed my mind, sir.} Naruto replied making the Elder chuckle lightly.

{Yes, I imagine so.} He replied as he sat back and looked at the Combistick.

{This Combistick has been in my family for many generations, all the way back to when Kaal united our people if you believe the stories. It was my father's and he trained me personally to fight with it as it was meant to be mine before it was stolen.} The Elder revealed, making Naruto look at him.

It's not to the same level as your dagger, but it will still serve you well.} The Elder informed as he extended it before collapsing it a hand placing it down before holding the blaster up.

{This is a blaster, something I took from a truly honorable and worthy prey once long ago, it is useful in hunting and can kill many a creature without causing serious damage to them beyond some charring of the outside. I also included designs and instructions for maintaining your blaster as I know it is not a weapon our people utilize much.} The Elder informed making Naruto look over the file with interest.

{I see the rumors of you being the true mastermind in the R division in your prime weren't exaggerated or unfounded.} Naruto commented making the Elder chuckle.

{Hunting is in our blood, but improving ourselves to greater heights, both naturally and through technology and equipment shouldn't ever be forgotten or left behind. I made my name known in hunting and providing food for our people, then I pushed in improving our people in whatever ways I could when hunting became less of an option. In the end, all we do is for the tribe and the advancement and betterment of our people.} The Elder spoke making Naruto nod in understanding.

{Now, go on, enjoy your time on world before you feel that hunger hit you and go scouting for new prey to add to your collection.} The Elder stated, effectively dismissing Naruto, who thumped his chest and bowed his head before leaving with his two new pieces of gear.

[You'll have to do the visit eventually. I know of at least one Jutsu that would serve you well, especially if you want to expand your knowledge base as well. I recall a few people having it, but I'm not sure on how to do it beyond the handsigns for it.] Kurama commented absently. [It was a clone technique that, if I heard right, transferred anything the clone learned or experienced back to you, meaning you could cut down training and learning times rather drastically depending on how many you created.] Kurama informed making Naruto nod in acknowledgement.

[That would cut the time I need to learn engineering, science, and other areas of study among our people beyond just hunting. If I want to add seals to various items and weapons, I need to know how they work so the seals don't interfere with them.] Naruto retorted making Kurama nod as he lounged in the mindscape.

[Agreed, while the Yautja could still be considered insects compared to the Biju, I can't disregard the power and talent they've amassed over time to improve themselves. Even their self-destruct explosives are comparable to a light Biju Bomb, something that many of your original race couldn't even come close to replicating, let alone doing so through technology rather than chakra.] Kurama stated, giving his own bit of praise while still acknowledging that the Biju could crush the Yautja if they fought.

9 creatures larger than most of the warships in the armada that could regenerate and technically weren't 100% alive weren't exactly creatures the Yautja could handle under normal circumstances.

The fact that the Biju would just reform in a set number of years just meant that any victory would essentially be a hollow one in the end.

Still, at the moment, it was a matter of deciding how long he wanted to be home before he went out on another hunt, but then again he should also see how long the wait for a ship was since if it was backed up for a couple weeks, then he'd take it and just relax for those few weeks.

He'd go tomorrow and see what the wait was and then go from there, for now he'd go home and enjoy his family and figure out if he wanted to remain in that home or design a new one to house his new and growing clan.

He stopped however as he had two people in front of him, {Twi, Lah, ready to move in?} Naruto asked and the two nodded.

However, that could cause conflicts if people in the group wanted to go to other worlds that the rest of the group didn't.

Hence why most wanted to go on solo hunts except for the times that they were bringing friends or mates or family to a hunt that they had discovered or thought would be good practice for them.

Others did join the group ships just to see what others were doing or to get off world faster.

{That makes sense, sir. You've dominated the proving hunt, now you've got the chance to explore and find new prey and glory for you and your clan. Although, most exploration is reserved for when you have your own ship.} Lah commented since if you owned your own ship, you were free to do whatever the fuck you wanted with it, but if it was a ship of the armada then you had a responsibility to return it intact should war ever be on the horizon.

That typically only happened if a band or group of the Beastials began causing problems.

{I know, so I'll settle for worlds in the public navi-computers as well as some that the Elder gave me coordinates for.} Naruto spoke making them look at him in interest.

{Oh, he gave you coordinates for some of the worlds he's been to? You've must have really impressed him.} Twi commented and Naruto shrugged.

{He said it was his reward for my performance on the hunt. The weapons were his thanks for returning the Combistick to him. Not sure if your mother has a plan for her reward since sex isn't exactly that big of a reward for me anymore.} Naruto commented making them chuckle a bit.

{It varies, sir. There are sizes, additions, upgrades, systems, storage, and more that can be picked for a ship, especially if you have one custom built to your preferences. But in terms of the most basic, I think the rate was around 80-90 Xenomorph Skulls last I checked.} Twi informed and Lah nodded.

Naruto nodded in understanding, he could swing that but it would drain all the skulls he had, not counting the Queen, behemoth, or the Predalien skulls.

Trophies were a trade resource due to the fact that the bones, skin, hide, scales, claws, and all of that could be used in a variety of ways whether for personal use, decoration, tribute, experimentation, R research, and more.

It was why hunters who had been around for hundreds of years didn't have a massive pile of skulls laying around.

They kept the high quality/notable skulls and traded the others for things they wanted/needed to advance themselves in different ways.

The hide was usually treated to be comfort items or hide armor and really anything that you wanted done could be done to anything you took as a trophy or was usable from a corpse when it was claimed.

Even Xenomorph blood had uses for their people, it's just containers/vessels to store the blood were hard to come by.

{Well, I'll hold off on that for now. And no, I will not have you all contributing to my owning a ship. I want to get a ship because I earned it, not because women I claimed want to show their devotion by getting me a ship.} Naruto ordered making them nod in understanding.

{Well, we'll at least keep an eye out for any ships becoming available. If nothing else, we may find one that an older hunter or a veteran doesn't want anymore and is selling. Even if all he found was information on how to use Storage Seals, that would be a MASSIVE boon for him in the long run. He could get a ship with hardly any storage space and then just use seals to store everything he wanted and needed without worry and it wouldn't weigh down the ship at all.

He wouldn't have to worry about the corpses rotting or being stolen by scavengers or about possibly abandoning a trophy because something happened.

Yes, that would be an ideal place to go.

{That would depend on how long he can have the ship for, sister.} Noctel commented drawing Naruto from his thoughts. {If he can only have a ship for two or three solar cycles, it may not be enough time to make it to his original world and then get back and he'd have to pay a penalty for failing to return on time.} She reminded, making Sarana and the others nod since that was a valid point.

None of them had been to that world before, so they did not know how long it took to get there and thus that limited Naruto on if he could go there or not.

{That's not even accounting for how long it could take me to find my mother's homeland and then search through it as well.} Naruto sighed since from what Kurama recalled, his mother's homeland was an entire island nation and the village of his clan was quite expansive so it would take a great deal of time to explore and scavenge everywhere.

It would be faster if he had that clone jutsu Kurama had mentioned or if he had a set of scouting drones to fully map and explore the place for him rather than him just doing it on his own.

Yes, it would be ideal to go, but it was not easy to go at this moment.

{Enough of that, all of this is pointless until I see when I can actually get a ship and then how long I can have it for. Once we've established that, then I can decide the best course of action. If it ends up meaning I'll have to wait some months or even full seasons before I can attempt an expedition to my home world, then so be it. I'll make the best of it and make efforts to hunt and expand our status as I can in the meantime.} Naruto decided as he sat there.
