This is a sequel to my earlier story Open Slay, with a little bit of crossover to events and characters in L.A. Requiem by Robert Crais. Jack Reacher is in Los Angeles-Venice Beach, to be specific-to relax in some warm winter weather. Of course, Reacher can't relax. He draws the attention of a local gang, and the casualties start piling up. Can Reacher get out of this jam?
