Chapter 1: Fireblaze Origin

Hey guys, I'm back with a new story! I want to thank Cloud4012 for helping me with my character and everything else. Also, make sure to follow him as well! I don't own anything except my OC. Anyway, sit back, relax, review, and enjoy!

It was a bright, sunny day in Paris as a local competition was being broadcast.

"Welcome to the finals of our Kidz Plus competition, where today we will announce our new Kidz Plus Weather Girl," the announcer said as a limo pulled up with two girls.

One had blonde hair tied in a ponytail and carried a blue parasol, while the other had dark blue hair.

"We started with over 5,000 contestants, and thanks to our audience at home, we're now down to these two fantastic ladies," the announcer continued, pointing to the blonde girl on the right. "To my right, Aurore Beaureal!" He then gestured to the girl on the left. "And to my left, Mireille Caquet! Who will be our lucky winner? Text one for Aurore and two for Mireille," the announcer said as the camera zoomed out, revealing the entire scene playing on a phone screen.

We now see who is holding the phone. It was a teenage boy, 15 years old, with medium-length black hair, brown skin, and brown eyes. He stood around five feet nine inches tall and was wearing a blue hoodie with the zipper undone, revealing a black t-shirt underneath. He also wore dark blue cargo pants and a pair of black-and-white running sneakers.

This was Leo Brown, the only son of two comic book store owners. They had moved to Paris for a fresh start in their lives, and right now, they were in a taxi.

As the taxi cruised through the bustling streets of Paris, Leo glanced out the window, watching the Eiffel Tower come into view. His mom, seated next to him, leaned forward to speak to the driver in broken French.

"Parlez-vous anglais?" she asked, her voice a little unsure.

The driver nodded with a smile. "Yes, a little."

"Thank goodness," she sighed in relief. "Can you take us to Rue Saint-Honoré? We just moved here, and I have no idea where anything is yet."

"Of course, madame," the driver replied, taking a turn onto a narrow street.

Leo put his phone down and turned to his mom. "This city's pretty cool, huh?"

His mom smiled, brushing a strand of hair behind her ear. "Yeah, it's beautiful. Hopefully, it'll be a good change for us."

"Do you think the new shop will do well?" Leo asked, a hint of nervousness in his voice.

"We'll make it work," she said reassuringly. "Your dad's excited, and we've got some great comics to sell. Paris is a fresh start for all of us."

Leo nodded, though he still felt uneasy. "I just hope I can make friends here."

"You will, honey. Just be yourself."

As they spoke, the taxi came to a stop in front of a quaint building with a small sign that read "Brown's Comics." Leo stared at it, realizing their new life in Paris was about to begin.

Once they got inside the apartment, Leo was tasked with carrying boxes up to his new room. As he pushed open the door, he found his mom setting up his computer on the desk.

"Hey, Mom, you don't have to do that," Leo said, putting down the box with a grunt. "I can handle the computer stuff."

His mom glanced up from the wires, smiling. "I know, but I wanted to help you get settled in faster. Plus, I needed a break from organizing the shop downstairs."

Leo shook his head playfully. "You and Dad are so excited about that comic shop. It's like your dream came true or something."

She laughed, adjusting her glasses. "Well, it kinda is. Owning a comic book store in the heart of Paris? Not bad for two small-town nerds, huh?"

Leo sat down on the edge of the bed, watching his mom struggle with the tangle of cables. "You think people here even care about comics?"

"Trust me, there's a lot of comic fans everywhere," she replied, finally managing to untangle the wires. "Besides, it's Paris. This city has a little bit of everything."

Leo leaned back, glancing out the window at the Parisian skyline. "It's so different here. I guess it's just... weird starting over, you know?"

His mom paused for a moment, then walked over and sat next to him on the bed. "It is. But new places mean new opportunities. You'll find your way, Leo."

He smiled faintly, nodding. "Yeah, maybe."

She gave his shoulder a squeeze. "And hey, you've got comics and video games to keep you company in the meantime."

Leo chuckled. "Yeah, that's true. Thanks, Mom."

She stood up, brushing her hands on her jeans. "Alright, I'm heading back down to help your dad. You sure you're good with the rest of the unpacking?"

"Yeah, I got it," Leo said, standing up. "I'll set everything up and probably take a break after."

"Good plan. I'll call you when dinner's ready." With that, she gave him a quick smile and headed toward the door.

As Leo watched her leave, he glanced at the boxes still waiting to be unpacked. With a sigh, he moved over to the desk and started setting up his room, hoping this new chapter in Paris would be worth the effort.

After unpacking all the boxes, Leo stretched his arms over his head, feeling the tension in his muscles ease. He walked over to the window, gazing at the lively street below when something caught his eye. An old man in a red shirt had stumbled and fallen right in the middle of the road.

Leo's eyes widened. "Whoa, what the—?"

Without a second thought, he bolted out of his room and down the stairs, taking two steps at a time. As he reached the front door, he shouted, "Mom! I'll be right back!" and rushed outside.

The old man was struggling to get up, cars slowing to a halt around him. Leo sprinted across the street, weaving between the stopped vehicles.

"Sir! Are you okay?" Leo called out, kneeling beside him.

The old man looked up, his face scrunched with pain and confusion. "I... I think I twisted my ankle," he muttered, grimacing as he tried to move.

"Don't worry, I've got you." Leo carefully helped him to his feet, wrapping the man's arm around his shoulder for support.

A few pedestrians had gathered nearby, some watching with concern. "Someone should call an ambulance," one woman said, pulling out her phone.

"Thanks," Leo nodded, focusing on helping the man to the sidewalk. "Let's get you out of the road first."

As they made it to the curb, the old man winced, leaning heavily on Leo. "I don't know what happened... just tripped over my own feet, I guess."

"Don't worry, it happens to everyone," Leo said, trying to reassure him. "Let's get you to sit down."

He helped the man onto a nearby bench, just as the woman with the phone stepped over. "I called for help; they'll be here soon."

"Thanks," Leo replied. He turned back to the old man. "Are you sure it's just your ankle? Nothing else hurts?"

The man shook his head slowly, still wincing. "No, I think it's just the ankle. Thank you, son... I don't know what I would've done if you hadn't helped."

Leo smiled awkwardly, rubbing the back of his neck. "No problem. Just glad you're okay."

As they waited for the ambulance, Leo glanced back toward his apartment. His mom was standing by the door, watching with a mix of concern and pride. She waved at him, and he waved back.

Just then, the sound of sirens filled the air. Leo turned to the old man. "Help's here. You're gonna be fine."

The man nodded, his breathing steadying. "You're a good kid, you know that?"

Leo shrugged. "Just doing what anyone would."

"But I have to go, sir. My mom's waiting for me," Leo said, walking away, not knowing the old man had slipped something into his pocket.

As the paramedics arrived and started tending to the old man, Leo took a step back, relieved. He watched for a moment before turning to head back to the apartment, where his mom was waiting at the door.

"You alright?" she asked, her eyes scanning him for any sign of distress.

"Yeah," Leo replied, a little out of breath. "Just... helped the guy get off the road. His ankle's messed up, but the paramedics got it from here."

His mom smiled, pulling him into a hug. "You did a good thing, Leo."

He shrugged again, a small smile creeping onto his face. "I guess."

As they headed back inside, Leo glanced one more time at the street. Paris, it seemed, was already proving to be a city full of surprises.

As the countdown clock starts the Announcer appears on screen.

"This is the moment you've been waiting for! The viewers have made their decision. And the new Kidz Plus Weathergirl is Mireille!"

The crowd erupts in cheers as the results show Mireille winning by a landslide.

"Man, she crushed you, better luck next time." The announcer said to Aurore as she stormed out in anger.

In an unknown location, a window opens and dozens of white butterflies fly around, in the center of all of it is Hawkmoth.

"The vibrations are so strong I can feel the imminent anger and sadness, the moment of weakness in my next victim, such easy prey for my Akuma." Hawkmoth infects the

butterfly with darkness before releasing it to infect his new victim.

At the station, Aurore was getting into the elevator furious about the results.

"I should have won. I had the talent, the star looks at everything! But she took it away from me. They took everything away from me!" Aurore said when the elevator came to

a sudden stop startling her.

She looks around to find the cause and sees the Akuma sliding in through the crack in the elevator door. Aurore tries to swat it away with her parasol, but the Akuma goes

into it infecting Aurore.

"So correct. You should have won, yes. Stormy Weather I am Hawk Moth. I give you the power to see revenge on them as my weathergirl. All you have to do is bring me the

Miraculous. Can you do that?" Hawk Moth asks.

"Yes," Aurore said as she transformed.

Back at the comic book store, Leo finished stocking up the comic books.

"Alright, I'm all done. Hey, Mom, do you mind if I go to the park to take a break for a little bit?" Leo asked.

"Yeah, honey, just make sure you come back. We don't want to lose you in this big city," she said with a smile.

"Alright, love you. Tell Dad I said bye too," Leo said, heading out the door.

At the park, Leo was walking around until he looked at his phone.

"Hmm, shame. I thought Aurore had a better chance," Leo said, turning off his phone. He looked around the park and spotted a photographer setting up for what looked like a photo shoot.

"Hmm, I wonder what's going on?" Leo asked himself as he got up and walked toward the scene.

As he got closer, Leo noticed a boy with blonde hair and light green eyes. It was Adrien.

Leo approached cautiously, unsure if he should interrupt. The photographer was busy adjusting his camera, while Adrien stood still, posing for the shoot. Leo hesitated for a moment, but Adrien noticed him watching and smiled politely.

"Hey there! You need something?" Adrien asked, stepping away from the set.

Leo blinked, caught off guard. "Uh, no, not really. I just... I was curious. What's going on here?"

Adrien chuckled lightly. "Oh, it's just a photo shoot. Part of my modeling work."

Leo's eyes widened. "Modeling? That's cool." He paused before asking, "Wait... are you Adrien Agreste? The model?"

Adrien nodded, looking a little shy. "Yeah, that's me. I don't think we've met before. What's your name?"

"Oh, I'm Leo. Just moved to Paris recently. My parents run a comic book store," Leo said, rubbing the back of his neck. "I wasn't expecting to bump into someone famous at the park."

Adrien smiled warmly. "I wouldn't say famous. I'm just here for the photos." He glanced around. "You come to this park often?"

"First time, actually," Leo replied. "Just needed a break after unpacking at home. Thought I'd explore."

"Well, welcome to Paris," Adrien said, offering a friendly nod. "Maybe we'll run into each other again. This park's one of my favorite spots."

"Yeah, maybe," Leo said, grinning. "And, hey, if you ever need comic book recommendations, you know where to find me."

Adrien chuckled. "I'll keep that in mind."

Adrien glanced back toward the photographer, who was signaling for him to return. "Looks like they need me to finish up," Adrien said, with an apologetic smile. "It was nice meeting you, Leo."

"Yeah, you too," Leo replied, giving a small wave. "Good luck with the shoot."

Adrien flashed a quick thumbs-up before heading back to the set, his focus shifting to the camera as the photographer adjusted the lighting.

Leo watched for a moment before turning back to the bench he had been sitting on earlier. He plopped down, exhaling a deep breath. "Man, I just met *Adrien Agreste," he muttered to himself, shaking his head in disbelief. "First day in Paris, and this happens? That's wild."

He pulled out his phone again, glancing at the time. His break wasn't over yet, so he decided to relax a bit, leaning back and watching the people around the park. A few joggers passed by, kids played on the swings, and the soft hum of the city buzzed in the background.

As Leo was watching the photo shoot, he noticed three people in the trees behind Adrien: two teenage girls and a little girl. One of the teens had black hair with blue highlights and blue eyes, while the other had curly brown hair, tan skin, and hazel eyes. It was Marinette and Alya.

As the photographer snapped pictures, Alya and the little girl walked normally, but Marinette moved in a strange, almost sneaky way, like she was trying to hide something—and not doing a very good job.

When Adrien spotted them, he waved, causing Marinette to freak out.

"Come on, girl, let's go," Alya said, pulling Marinette to the side. That's when she noticed Leo sitting right in front of them. Both girls seemed a little nervous.

Alya nudged Marinette as they both tried to play it cool, walking past Leo. Marinette, still flustered from Adrien's wave, muttered under her breath, "I wasn't ready for that... Why does he always have to look so—so..."

"Perfect?" Alya teased, smirking at her best friend.

Marinette shot her a glare. "That's not what I was going to say," she mumbled, though the blush on her cheeks said otherwise.

As they passed Leo, Alya gave him a quick nod, trying to act casual. "Hey," she greeted, offering a small smile.

Leo, caught off guard by the sudden attention, straightened up from the bench. "Uh, hey," he replied, offering a friendly wave.

Marinette, still looking embarrassed, glanced at Leo and quickly looked away, tugging at her hair. "Hi..." she murmured softly, barely meeting his eyes.

Leo gave a polite smile, trying not to make things awkward. "You guys here for the photo shoot too?" he asked, gesturing toward Adrien and the photographer.

Alya chuckled. "Not exactly. We were just... passing by." She nudged Marinette again, trying to keep things light.

Marinette managed a weak smile. "Y-Yeah, just... passing by," she repeated, her voice still a bit shaky.

Leo, sensing her nervousness, nodded understandingly. "Cool, well, it's nice to meet you both. I'm Leo, by the way," he said, introducing himself.

"I'm Alya," Alya said confidently, extending her hand. "And this is Marinette," she added, giving Marinette an encouraging look.

Marinette quickly shook Leo's hand, her nerves still apparent. "Nice to meet you, Leo," she said, her voice a little steadier this time.

"Same here," Leo said with a grin, sensing their friendly vibe. "So, you guys know Adrien?"

Alya nodded. "Yeah, we're friends with him. You know him too?"

Leo shrugged. "Not really. Just met him today. I didn't even realize he was... well, *Adrien Agreste* until I got here."

Alya laughed. "Yeah, he's kinda hard to miss." She glanced back at Adrien, who was still caught up in the shoot. "But he's a good guy."

Marinette smiled at that, though still a little shy. "He really is."

Leo nodded, feeling more relaxed around them. "Well, it was nice meeting you two. Maybe I'll see you around?"

"Definitely!" Alya replied cheerfully. Marinette gave a small wave as they started to walk away, but not before Alya whispered something to her, causing Marinette to blush all over again.

Leo chuckled to himself, watching them go. "Paris sure is interesting," he thought, leaning back on the bench.

Quickly checking his phone, Leo noticed it was time for him to go.

"Alright, break time's over. Time to head back," Leo said to himself as he walked away, making his way back to the comic book store.

As Leo walked back to the comic book store, he thought about his parents and how they were probably still busy with work. The familiar sights of the neighborhood passed by as he navigated the streets, a slight bounce in his step.

When he entered the store, he could hear the faint rustle of pages and the quiet chatter of customers. His mom was behind the counter, sorting through a stack of new arrivals, while his dad was shelving some books nearby.

"Hey, Mom! Dad!" Leo called out, making his way to the front.

"Welcome back! How was your break?" his mom asked, glancing up with a smile.

"Pretty good! I saw a photo shoot in the park and met some cool people," Leo replied, leaning against the counter.

His dad looked up, intrigued. "Oh really? Anyone we should know about?"

"Just some kids. One of them was Marinette, and she had this little girl named Manon with her," Leo said, recalling the encounter. "They were really cute."

His mom raised an eyebrow. "Marinette? I think I've heard that name before. Is she popular or something?"

"Yeah, I guess. She was acting all sneaky, like she was hiding something when I saw her. It was funny," Leo said with a chuckle.

His dad grinned. "Sounds like you had quite the adventure for a short break! You'll have to tell us more later."

Leo nodded, feeling a sense of warmth and belonging. "I will! But for now, what can I help with?"

"Just keep an eye on the register and help any customers who come in," his mom instructed, returning to her work.

"Got it!" Leo said, moving to the register. As he settled in, he felt excited to be part of the family business, eager to share his day with his parents when things slowed down.

After dealing with the customers, Leo went to his room, planning to relax and watch TV. As he sat down, he noticed something in his pocket.

He reached in and pulled out a small black box.

"Where did this come from?" Leo muttered, staring at it curiously.

He opened it, and suddenly, a bright red light flashed. When the light dimmed, a small red and orange bird-like creature floated in the air.

"AAAAHH!" Leo grabbed one of his comic books. "Die, you freak!" He tried to slam the book down on the creature, but it dodged easily.

"Whoa, easy, pal! I'm not gonna hurt you!" the creature said, causing Leo to jump back in shock.

"Wait... you talk?!" Leo stammered, backing away in fear.

"Yeah, I know this is a lot to take in, Leo," the creature said calmly.

"How do you know my name?" Leo asked, his voice shaky.

"I'm a Kwami. The name's Soll, and you, my friend, are in for a world of surprises," Soll said with a grin.

Leo was breathing heavily, trying to process everything. "Okay, this is clearly a hallucination from stress... I just need some air."

He quickly opened the window, but instead of fresh air, he was greeted by a storm, snow swirling violently outside.

"What the heck is going on? It was sunny just a few minutes ago!" Leo said, completely flabbergasted.

"Yeah, that's why I'm here. Listen, someone got Akumatized, and they've messed up the weather. It's up to us to stop them and set things right," Soll explained.

"Are you crazy?! I just moved here, and you're the size of my hand! How are we supposed to beat them?" Leo asked, panicking.

"Relax. See that necklace in the box?" Soll pointed out. Leo picked it up hesitantly. "Put it on, and I'll be able to help you."

Leo nervously put on the necklace.

"Now, when we merge, you'll have a special ability called *Solar Flare Burst*. It lets you summon the heat and light of the sun into your hands, forming a fiery orb. When you release it, the orb explodes in a blinding flash, stunning enemies. But remember, only use it in emergencies," Soll explained.

"What kind of emergencies?" Leo asked, still feeling overwhelmed.

"You'll figure it out when the time comes. But right now, people need us! Hold up your arm and say 'Soll, flame on.'"

Leo hesitated, then raised his arm. "Uh... Soll, flame on."

Suddenly, Soll was absorbed into the necklace, which glowed a deep red. Leo's clothes transformed into a sleek suit—a blend of black and red. His chest was armored with a crimson bird emblem, and his shoulders and forearms had fiery orange accents. A long black cape with an orange lining flowed behind him. His mask was black, with white eyes, and his gloves and boots were reinforced black leather. As he examined his new look, he noticed two swords at his sides, the blades shaped like phoenix feathers.

"Oh man, this is awesome," Leo said, marveling at the transformation.

"Okay, okay, I got this, I got this. Really hope I don't get grounded for this when I come back," Leo muttered to himself as he jumped out the window, screaming as he flew over the rooftops. He landed with a thud on top of a nearby building.

He sprinted across the rooftops, finally reaching the park. As he landed, he spotted a girl in a red suit with black polka dots, black hair tied in pigtails, and a red mask. A yo-yo was strapped to her hip. She was talking to Alya and Manon—the same people he'd seen earlier that day.

Leo ran over to them.

"Hey, need some help?" he asked.

"Look! It's a birdie!" Manon pointed at him excitedly.

The girl turned around and looked him up and down. "Who are you?" she asked.

"I'm F—uh, Fireblaze! Yeah, Fireblaze," Leo said, stumbling over his words.

"Okay, well, I'm Ladybug. Nice to meet you, Fireblaze." She gestured towards Alya and Manon. "Think you can get them out of here?" she asked.

"Leave it to me!" Fireblaze said confidently. He charged at the ice surrounding them, striking it with his two swords, but the ice didn't even crack. "Wow, that's some strong ice," he muttered.

"Looks like Hawk Moth released another Akuma. The only way to get rid of the ice is to capture it," Ladybug explained.

"Who's Hawk Moth?" Fireblaze asked, making Ladybug's eyes widen in surprise.

"You don't know who Hawk Moth is? You've gotta be new around here. He's a guy with the Butterfly Miraculous, and he uses his power to turn people into supervillains by manipulating their emotions," Ladybug explained.

"So this guy's bad news, huh?" Fireblaze said.

Just outside the entrance, Stormy Weather was terrorizing the park with lightning.

"Hey, Ice Queen!" a voice called out. Stormy Weather looked up to see a guy in a black leather suit with cat ears, a bell around his neck, a black mask, and a tail. This was Cat Noir, perched casually on a nearby fence. "Why don't you pick on someone your own temperature?" he teased.

"My name is not Ice Queen! It's Stormy Weather!" she snapped.

"Listen, I'm feeling more generous than usual today. So how about you cool down, and we call it quits?" Cat Noir offered with a smirk.

Her response was a powerful gust of wind, sending Cat Noir flying into the city, smashing into cars like a pinball.

"I thought cats always landed on their feet," Ladybug quipped, helping him up as Fireblaze landed beside them.

"Thanks, M'Lady, but I had it covered," Cat Noir said, trying to kiss her hand. Ladybug quickly pulled her hand back, and Cat Noir noticed Fireblaze for the first time.

"Who's this guy?" Cat Noir asked.

"Nice to meet you! I'm Fireblaze," Leo said, shaking Cat Noir's hand.

Their introduction was interrupted as Stormy Weather dropped down in front of them.

"We should expect some lightning storms... starting now!" Stormy Weather shouted, holding up her parasol as lightning shot from the tip.

"Look out!" Fireblaze yelled, diving out of the way as Ladybug tackled Cat Noir to safety.

"You just won yourself a catfight!" Cat Noir declared, charging at Stormy Weather.

"Black Ice!" Stormy Weather shouted, freezing the ground beneath them, and causing Cat Noir to slip. She then unleashed another gust of wind, sending him flying back along with several cars.

"I hope this works," Fireblaze muttered, slamming his swords into the ground and holding on to avoid being blown away. Ladybug quickly used her yo-yo to loop around and grab Cat Noir before he was blown any further.

Stormy Weather floated through the streets of Paris, blasting a hole through a TV screen showing a picture of Mireille.

The three heroes regained their footing and turned to face her.

"A little Cataclysm should knock the wind out of her sails," Cat Noir said, preparing to charge.

"Whoa, Kitty Kitty! Think before you leap," Ladybug said, grabbing his tail to stop him.

"You have a plan?" Fireblaze asked.

"Just follow my lead, boys," Ladybug said, running up the side of a building. Cat Noir ran up the opposite side, while Fireblaze charged straight for Stormy Weather, ready for battle.

Hearing them approach, Stormy Weather turned to see the three heroes attacking. "You again!" she shouted, blowing into her parasol and creating a powerful gust of wind, knocking them backward along with several cars.

The trio struggled to avoid the falling vehicles. Just when they thought they were safe, their eyes widened as Stormy Weather launched a bus straight at them.

"Oh hell no! Phoenix Flame Dance!" Fireblaze exclaimed as he jumped into the air, slicing the bus in half with his swords. The shape of a fiery phoenix enveloped him as he landed.

"Whoa, quick thinking back there," Ladybug said, impressed.

"Yeah, that was cool! Where did you learn that?" Cat Noir asked.

"I watch a lot of anime," Fireblaze admitted. "To be honest, I didn't know it would even work. But seriously, why did she throw a whole bus at us?" he asked, bewildered.

"Maybe she didn't pass her driving test," Cat Noir joked as they made their way through the streets, searching for her. Suddenly, a TV screen flickered on, revealing Stormy Weather.

"Hello, viewers!" she said, startling them. "Here's the latest forecast for this first day of summer. Looks like Mother Nature had a change of plans. Summer vacation is officially over!" she declared.

"Already? But I look so good in a swimsuit," Cat Noir quipped, earning stares from both Ladybug and Fireblaze. He grinned back at them.

"I think the catsuit does just fine," Ladybug responded. "At least now we know where to find her."

As Stormy Weather continued her broadcast, the three heroes entered the TV tower and found a life-size cutout of Aurore near the screen showing Stormy Weather.

"Hey, she looks familiar," Cat Noir said.

"Yeah, she does. Wait a minute, she lost the weather girl contest today. All that anger must've turned her into an Akuma! She got hurt so badly that people voted for the other girl, and it's probably eating her up inside. That means that Hawk Moth used her emotions to turn her into a villain," Fireblaze explained.

"The Akuma must be in her parasol," Ladybug said.

"In Stormy Weather's world, it's Winter Wonderland forever!" she declared as they kicked down the door, only to find no one there.

"What the—? Where is she?" Fireblaze asked, looking around.

"It's a recording," Ladybug said, glancing at the TV in the middle of the room.

They heard laughter and turned to see the real Stormy Weather behind them. She fired a lightning bolt at the lights, shutting off all the power.

Fireblaze drew his swords, their orange flames glowing like a torch, while Cat Noir spotted Stormy Weather making a getaway.

"Cat Noir, she's getting away!" he said as Ladybug tripped over the light.

"Is that a damsel in distress?" Cat Noir teased, helping her up.

"Not all of us have night vision," Ladybug replied as Cat Noir grabbed her hand, pulling her along as the three chased after Stormy Weather.

They raced up the staircase to the rooftop, where she was waiting for them.

"You airheads fell right into my trap!" Stormy Weather taunted as a tornado formed around the roof, trapping them. "There's no way out! Party's over, fools."

"We're..." Ladybug began, only to realize Cat Noir was still holding her hand.

"Not cool, dude," Fireblaze sighed.

"We're just getting started, Stormy! Lucky Charm!" Ladybug shouted, throwing her yoyo into the air. From it, a bath towel appeared.

"A bath towel? What am I supposed to do with this?" Ladybug asked.

"Great, we're about to be obliterated, but at least we'll be dry," Cat Noir joked.

"Hail!" Stormy Weather shouted as a flurry of hail fell toward them.

"I got this!" Fireblaze said, connecting his two swords at the ends to form a staff. He spun it around, creating a fire tornado that kept the hail at bay.

"So, what's the plan? Hot Wing here can only hold out for so long," Cat Noir asked as Ladybug surveyed the area.

"See that sign over there? Check it out and be ready to intercept," Ladybug instructed.

"Right," Fireblaze and Cat Noir said in unison, preparing for the next move.

"Time for a distraction. Hey, Stormy, over here!" Fireblaze shouted, drawing her attention.

"Another Miraculous holder? Interesting. Take his Miraculous now!" Hawk Moth ordered through Stormy Weather.

Stormy Weather charged at Fireblaze, but he dodged and rolled out of the way, causing her to stumble. She swung her parasol at him, but he quickly blocked it with his swords.

"You really wanna go? Then bring it!" Fireblaze said before kicking her back.

"This is an emergency. Time to see the sun! *Solar Flare Burst!*" Fireblaze yelled as his necklace glowed. A small sun formed in his hands, and he unleashed the orb, which exploded in a blinding flash of light in front of Stormy Weather.

"My eyes! My eyes! I can't see!" Stormy Weather cried.

"Cat Noir, now!" Fireblaze shouted.

"Cataclysm!" Cat Noir called out, his right hand glowing black. "Hey, Coldilocks! Is that all you've got?" He charged forward, dodging lightning strikes, and ran his hand along a giant sign, turning the support beams to rust.

The sign fell toward Stormy Weather. As she regained her vision, she tried to fire a lightning bolt through the sign, creating a hole to fly through. But she didn't notice Ladybug's yoyo wrapping around her leg.

The sign crashed down, knocking over a pipe that revealed a wind fan. Ladybug used the bath towel like a parachute, catching the wind and lifting herself into the air while pulling Stormy Weather down. As she fell, Fireblaze snatched the parasol from her hands.

"Thank you!" Fireblaze said, tossing it to Ladybug.

"Get out of there, you nasty bug!" Ladybug said as she snapped the parasol in half, releasing the Akuma. "No more evil-doing for you, little Akuma. Time to de-evilize!" Ladybug caught the Akuma in her yoyo and turned it into a butterfly. "Bye-bye, little butterfly. Miraculous Ladybug!" She threw the bath towel into the air, restoring all the damage done to Paris, including the weather, which returned to sunny.

As Aurore returned to normal, she looked around in confusion. "How did I get here?" she asked.

"Pound it!" Ladybug and Cat Noir said, fist-bumping.

"Hey, Fireblaze, don't leave us hanging!" Ladybug smiled.

Fireblaze grinned and joined them in the fist bump.

Suddenly, his necklace began to beep. "Hey guys, it was great working with you. I hope we can do it again! But I think it's time for me to transform back. See you later!" Fireblaze said, running and jumping off the rooftop.

Someday, your Miraculous will all be mine. I don't care how many enemies I have to throw at you to win, but I will be victorious!" Hawk Moth vowed in anger, his voice echoing through his lair as he clenched his fists.

But then, he paused for a moment, his mind shifting to something new—someone new. "That new Miraculous holder... Fireblaze," Hawk Moth murmured to himself. "Who is he? Another obstacle, but one I don't recognize." He narrowed his eyes, frustration mixing with curiosity.

"He's powerful, that much is clear. His abilities are unlike the others. I need to find out more about him—and exploit his weaknesses," Hawk Moth said, pacing back and forth.

He turned toward the window, staring out at the skyline of Paris. "This Fireblaze... where did he come from? And why hasn't he surfaced until now?" Hawk Moth's mind was racing. "No matter, I will get his Miraculous, too. The more they resist, the sweeter the victory will be."

He smirked darkly as he stepped away from the window, his thoughts focused on one thing. "It's only a matter of time. Fireblaze... you will join them in my collection."

Back at the comic book store, Leo landed gracefully as he jumped through his room window.

"Soll, flame off," he said, and the fiery aura surrounding him faded as he transformed back into his normal self. His Miraculous partner, Soll, the Phoenix Kwami, fluttered next to him.

"Man, that was fun!" Leo said with a grin, flopping onto his bed, still feeling the adrenaline from the battle.

Soll floated closer, observing his new Miraculous holder with curiosity. "So, what do you think about being a hero, Leo?" Soll asked, his fiery wings flickering slightly as he perched on the bedside lamp.

Leo leaned back, resting his arms behind his head. "It's... different, you know?" he replied, staring up at the ceiling. "I've always loved superheroes, reading about them, watching them. But actually *being* one... it's a whole other thing. It's crazy, but I think I could get used to it." He chuckled softly.

Soll nodded, his tiny form glowing slightly. "You handled yourself well out there. But you should know, that being a hero isn't just about the action and fun. There's responsibility—and danger. Hawk Moth won't stop coming after you now that you've revealed yourself."

Leo sat up, his expression more serious. "Yeah, I figured. He's obsessed with getting everyone's Miraculous. I get that this isn't a game. But as long as I've got you, Ladybug, and Cat Noir by my side, we'll take him down, no matter what he throws at us."

The Phoenix Kwami tilted his head, a small smile forming. "You've got the heart of a hero, Leo. Just remember to trust your instincts, and we'll do great things together."

Leo grinned at that. "Thanks, Soll. I won't let you down."

Just then, Leo's phone buzzed on the bed. He picked it up and saw a message from Alya:

Alya: Hey Leo! There's a new hero in the city called Fireblaze who just joined Ladybug and Cat Noir! You should check it out on the Ladyblog. Oh, and I got your number from your parents when I stopped by the comic book store Adrian mentioned after the photo shoot. :)

Leo smiled, knowing he had to keep his secret identity hidden, and quickly typed back.

Leo: Wow, sounds awesome! I'll definitely check it out. Thanks for letting me know! :)

He put his phone down and lay back again. "Looks like I've got a new group of friends too," he muttered to himself. "Not bad for my first day as Fireblaze."

Soll landed on the nightstand, folding his tiny wings. "It's just the beginning, Leo. Hawk Moth will be back, but together, we'll be ready for whatever challenges come next."

Leo nodded, feeling a renewed sense of purpose. "Yeah, bring it on."
