Now onto the story. This story takes place 15 years after the whole 'Assassination Classroom Project.' Heroes don't know about the true identities of these assassins; the reason will be explained further into the story.
I want to clarify that I do not own Assassination Classroom, which is created by Yusei Matsui, nor do I own MHA, which is created by Horikoshi. I am just a fan of these shows.
...
NARRATOR'S POV
The story begins with a loud BOOM echoing through the school building.
Inside the building, a blonde boy dressed in a male junior high school uniform stands before another boy of the same age, who has messy green hair. The blonde's hand crackles with sparks, and smoke rises from his palms. The green-haired boy has serious burn marks and is on the verge of tears.
It's evident to everyone that the blonde is bullying the green-haired boy, yet no one—not even the teachers—is trying to intervene. Why, you ask? The reason is simple: why would they want to be on the bad side of someone who could become a top hero, especially over a quirkless kid?
No one can guess that both of them were childhood best friends. But all of this changed when the blonde got a powerful quirk and Greenette was diagnosed as quirkless. Since then, the blonde has started calling him DEKU or USELESS.
Blonde's name is Katsuki Bakugou [Quirk: Explosion, and Greenette's name is Izuku Midoriya [Quirkless].
"If you want to be a hero, then stand and show me some courage. If you somehow manage to pass the entrance exam, you'll only become a burden for others," Bakugou said with a smirk.
Students present were laughing, looking at the scene, and whispering to others.
"I feel like he has been through enough humiliation. How do you feel about it?" a student asked gently to the person next to him.
"Nah, I can see this whole day," the person beside him replied.
"Yeah, you're right," another student said.
Finally, the teacher coughed for attention after regaining composure from a moment of amusement and said, "Bakugou I think that's enough amusement for us. Sit in your place so I can continue my class, and Midoriya can go to the washroom and wash your face."
(Timeskip after school)
IZUKU'S POV
Every day for the past ten years has been incredibly difficult. I would wake up with a heavy heart, knowing I'd have to face another day at school. The teachers often seemed upset for no reason, and Kacchan's relentless bullying only made matters worse. It was painful to feel so humiliated because of my weaknesses and my lack of a quirk. When I finally returned home each day, I carried the weight of those experiences with me, longing for a sense of belonging and understanding.
But today it got worse. What he said to me after school is still running through my mind.
'If you want to get a quirk, there is a way to get it. Take a swan dive from the top of a building and pray to get it in your next life. HAHAHA'
I was walking through the lane I usually take to go home, reflecting on what Kacchan had said, when suddenly something slimy began to latch onto me. Reflexively, I screamed, "AH!" As I finally processed what was happening, I realised it was a villain, and he was smirking at me.
Then he said, "I had chosen this manhole randomly to escape from him, but who would've thought that in this place I would find a boy alone? Maybe it's a miracle. Now I will use his body to escape this damn city."
I didn't want to die. But internally, 'I feel like this is the end of my miserable life. Who will even miss me? Friends I don't have? Kacchan? But is he my friend? Maybe he'll be glad that a Deku is gone from this world. Suddenly, I had a flashback of my mom crying while hugging 4-year-old me, and I started to fight back. 'I refuse to give up. I will live for my mom, who loves me unconditionally, even if I fall short of her expectations.'
"Oh! Fighting back, are you? But no use because I have blocked your air canals; soon you will lose consciousness. HA HA. the villain said, laughing.
As he spoke, I felt myself slipping away. Desperation washed over me, and I managed to whisper, "Someone... please... help... me..."
NARRATOR'S POV
It appears that the universe answered his call, as a powerful voice resonated. "I thought I lost you in the sewers, but I won't make the same mistake of delaying it any further again."
He clenched his fist and yelled,
"TEXAS SMASH"
With a boom, the slime villain blasts into several pieces, and the boy gets thrown back a few steps away.
(Timeskip 5 minutes)
"Hey, kid! Wake up! Are you OK?" The man was asking as he woke him up, thinking, 'Maybe I put too much force in that punch.'
Just then the boy starts to blink and speaks, "Where am I? Am I alive?". Then he remembers and looks up to see his saviour; he is shocked as if the whole earth slid away from his feet.
He asks, controlling his surprise, "A...A...All Might, is it you?'
"Haha, yes, it's me—the one and only Symbol of Peace: All Might."
"Can you give me an autograph? Where is my notebook? Here it is." He then flips the pages of the said notebook and sees that All Might has already signed it. "AH! Thank you, All Might. This will be a family heirloom.
"No worries, Young Man. Now I have to go."
"Wait! You can't go. I have a question to ask."
'This kid really is a huge fanboy, but I have already reached my time limit because of searching for this slime.' Then he says, "Sorry, young man, a true hero has to battle against time too."
All Might didn't want to waste any more time, so he jumped high over the buildings. However, Izuku wouldn't let this opportunity slip away, so he latched onto All Might's leg.
All Might, seeing this, quickly lands on a nearby building and starts coughing nonstop.
"All Might, I am sorry for that, but I really want to ask you this. All my life people told me that I was just dreaming my whole life and I should give up on this ridiculous dream of mine of becoming a hero who saves people with a smile. So I am asking you this, All Might: Can I, a quirkless person, become a hero?"
*POOF* sounded, and in front of him was not All Might but a skinny skeleton man with blonde hair.
"W-who are y-you? You're not All Might. You're an imposter."Izuku said, panicking.
"I am All Might, and this is my true, original form. Due to a battle between me and a powerful enemy, I got gravely injured and lost half of my stomach. The countless hours spent under the surgeon's knife, followed by months of gruelling rehabilitation and routine medical interventions, have restored my ability to continue fighting against the odds. However, each passing day makes it increasingly difficult, as my endurance dwindles, allowing me only a few hours of resilience at a time. Therefore, I ask you to not tell a single soul about this, or the society will lose its hope, which is standing upon me."
At this, Izuku can only nod.
"And about your question, no, I don't think you can become a hero without one. Don't misunderstand me, kid. I've been around long enough to witness countless battles between heroes and villains, and I've seen the toll that these confrontations can take. The experiences I've gained over the years have taught me a harsh lesson: stepping into a fight as a hero without any superpowers or extensive training is a risk I wouldn't advise anyone to take lightly. Those with powers or advanced skills have a fighting chance, but going in without any sort of advantage is often a recipe for injury—sometimes even worse. It's crucial to recognise the dangers and prepare accordingly if you truly want to make a difference.
There are better options too, like doctors who save people more than heroes and police who maintain law and order after heroes are done fighting without getting recognition.
Dreaming is good, kid, but you also have to be realistic too."
All Might left the boy after crushing his dream on the rooftop. After some time, Izuku also left the rooftop and began to walk towards his home. On his way, he sees a crowd and some heroes fighting a villain or just telling the crowds to go away and think of what to do.
When Izuku got near the crowd, he saw an explosion and the same slime villain he encountered before. He saw a hostage and recognised him in a glimpse; he was his tormentor and ex-friend Bakugou. Then he put the pieces together and deduced that when he latched onto All Might, the slime-containing bottle dropped, and the villain got free and made Bakugou his hostage.
'I have to do something. But what do I do? What can I do? I don't know what I can do in this situation. He was thinking these questions, but suddenly his body began to move on its own, and he forced his way in, threw his bag towards the villain, and started pulling the explosive hostage away from the villain.
The hostage, seeing this, asked with his remaining strength, "What...are you...doing...?"
"I...don't know. My body worked... on its own." That was all the answers he got.
ALL MIGHT'S POV
(A few minutes earlier)
I didn't want to do this. But I don't want him to suffer or get injured like me. I saw his body; there were burn marks, which must be due to bullying, and it's just the beginning. I can tell he never trained in his whole life. If we take Hero education as a race, becoming a hero is the finish line, but the way he is, he can't even qualify for the starting line, which is the entrance exam.
As I was thinking all of this, I saw a crowd and some heroes. Upon closer look, I understood what was happening here.
'I can't believe I was this stupid. I didn't even try to check if I have the bottle. These heroes are also unable to do anything in this situation just like me. I hope backup comes quickly.'
As I was hoping for backup, the same green-haired boy threw his bag towards the villain and tried to free the hostage from his grasp.
I was amazed at this. Even though he is quirkless, he tries to help the hostage. 'Maybe this boy can become my successor.' I thought and started to accumulate the last of my power and pump up my muscles. But,
From out of nowhere, two cables attached to each hand of the hostage kid and a third cable to my possible successor's hand, and with high force, both got pulled out of the villain's grasp and launched into the air, where someone caught and threw them towards the heroes and landed over the villain and put something on the villain's mouth and launched again in a split second. A few seconds later the object inside the villain exploded, and slime got scattered everywhere.
No one can tell what happened there. It was so fast that the crowd could not comprehend what happened there. Heroes were baffled too, but one hero, Kamui Woods, quickly recovered from all this and began to walk towards the saviour of the kids, but he was gone as fast as he came. He didn't stop for a second to let bystanders watch him carefully and describe. But I can tell because of my kinetic vision.
He appeared quite masculine, so there's a strong possibility that he was a man, but I could be mistaken. He was wearing a head covering that concealed his hair and part of his forehead, a mask similar to that of Kakashi Hatake from Naruto. His outfit consisted of full-body armour that covered him from neck to toe, complete with padding on his shoulders, back, and waist.
After everything that happened, the green-haired boy was scolded by the heroes for his rash behaviour. After the lecture, I followed him to share my secret. As soon as I had the chance, the hostage from before called out to the green-haired boy, likely to thank him.
"Hey, Deku! Don't think you did some heroic work by trying to help me. I didn't and won't need your help in my life. You get that YOU. DID. NOTHING. HEROIC," said the boy, leaving no chance for counterargument. Honestly, I was surprised. Maybe he has something against him.
NARRATOR'S POV
After he was finally alone, All Might came in front of him and expected the kind of reaction.
"A... All M... Might, what a-are you d-doing here?"
"Can you tell me your name first, Young man?"
"Huh? Oh! I never told you, right? My name is Izuku Midoriya."
"Young Midoriya. Before, I told you that you cannot become a hero without a quirk, right? Well, I was wrong; you, my boy, can become a fine hero."
"Is this true? But you said I can't become one, so what's with the sudden change, All Might?"
"Do you know what the common quality of all true heroes is? It's that all of their body works on its own during a crisis, and you have that quality. Therefore I want you to become my successor and inherit my Quirk."
"S-succesor? Inherit your quirk? But All Might's quirks are hereditary and cannot be passed down to others just like that. If that can be possible, then all the theories and knowledge about quirks will be possible, then all the theories and knowledge about quirks will be baseless... *mumbling*
All Might sweatdropped at his mumbling and coughed to get his attention, and Midoriya noticed and said, "Sorry.".
"My quirk is a special one called [ONE FOR ALL]. It is passed down from one generation to the next to fight evil. With each new generation, the Quirk grows stronger before being passed on again, and this cycle continues.
I want to give you this quirk because I believe YOU. CAN. BE. A. HERO."
As if a dam has been broken, tears start flowing from Izuku's eyes.
(Somewhere else)
In an alley, that same vigilante was present, standing. Soon his whole suit dematerialises and then again materialises into a fine business suit.
? POV
I quickly hid in a dark alley so that those heroes couldn't see me. I quickly transformed my combat suit into a fine business suit and internally thought,
'I would like to express my gratitude to Itona and Ritsu for creating and programming this Nano suit. It is resistant to fire, blades, tension, shock, and impacts. The suit can easily change colour for camouflage, and thanks to Manami, it can generate an identical scent of the surroundings if the right chemicals are present. The cables are also highly efficient for rescues and escapes. Itona mentioned that he was inspired by Erasurehead's scarf, but this suit is much more resilient, durable, and extendable by exchanging nanomachines from within the suit, although there is a limit to this. Additionally, Ritsu's self-calculation of grip strength is impressive; otherwise, I would have to adjust the grip regularly. But most importantly...'
I took out a pair of earbuds from the suit and tapped on it in a pattern. A familiar cheery voice came from the earbuds.
Hello Isogai! How are you, and how may I help you?

END OF CHAPTER 1
A/N: So hello, everyone!
Thank you.
