Sorcery And Magic

In her dream, Twilight groaned as she finally woke up somewhere, but she didn't feel the ground of the garden she was in before, instead she felt a solid rock-like structure which shook her up.

Shaking her head a little, Twilight realized she wasn't in Equestria before she stood up again.

Looking around the place, Twilight was confused with what she's seeing. All around her, dozens of floating ancient platforms in the distance, and she could see the huge moon up close, the place almost looked like the Convexity Dimension in a lot of areas.

Wondering where she is, Twilight walks to the edge of the platform.

"Hello? Is anypony there? Spike? Sunset?" Twilight called out, looking around the dark void and hoping somepony would answer.

Luckily for her, while Twilight was looking around, approaching her from behind was a spiritual figure of a pony as a hoof landed on the ground behind her.

"Do not be frightened, young Alicorn. You're not alone," a wise voice said, catching Twilight by surprise as the Alicorn looked behind herself and became shocked by what she was seeing in front of her.

Standing in front of her was the spirit of an old dark gray unicorn with golden eyes a white swirling mane, tail, and most noticeably a long white beard. He wore a three-blue colored robe with a matching hat. Both had golden bells on the rim of them with a single bell at the top of the hat with a moon and star design on them and holding a dark oak wooden staff in his right hoof. This was the most powerful and wisest Unicorn in Equestria.

Twilight knows that this Unicorn Wizard was no other than…

"Starswirl The Bearded! I-I-I can't believe it…," Twilight said in excitement, she couldn't believe that she was seeing the spirit of her own magic idol in her dreams with her.

"Yes, Twilight. It's good to see you here as well, and I have been waiting for you," Starswirl said, sensing a lot of excitement coming from the young mare. But he knows that there isn't much time for them to waste talking and other activities.

"Starswirl, where are we? What is this place?" Twilight asked, wanting to know where she is and who has summoned her here in the first place as she looked around the void.

"A friend of mine has summoned you here so that you might be warned. The Sun and Moon are counting down, Twilight. And time is running out," Starswirl explained to her, warning her about the dangers that are coming soon, which concerned Twilight.

Twilight backed away slowly, feeling a bit nervous about what is happening right now. Suddenly out of nowhere, Twilight began to hear the wind blowing and more weary voices were heard calling her name all around her as the Alicorn mare herself looked around trying to find the source, but found nothing and was starting to get spooked from the voices screaming in her head until…

"MAKE IT STOP!" Twilight shouted at once while closing her eyes, wanting it all to end.

And like magic, everything around Twilight started to stop and move slowly at a snails pace from a strange effect in front of her.

This has got Twilight surprised and confused. A lot of questions were going through her mind such as what happened? How did she make things slow down? Putting those questions aside, Twilight saw that whatever is going on, it made a moving platform in front of her move slowly too.

Using this to her advantage, Twilight jumped onto the moving object, then jumped off, and slowly glided to the next platform where Starswirls' Spirit was waiting for her. When she made it, everything was back to moving normally again. This has Twilight very puzzled and shocked with what's going on.

"Starswirl, how did all that happen?" Twilight asked, turning to Starswirl and wanting to know what happened back there.

"As the Alicorn Warrior, Twilight, you can wield many abilities that others cannot. Including time itself. Learn to master this ability, and you will be able to see things almost before they happen. But use this gift sparingly, Twilight, only when circumstances demand it. Manipulation of time is not to be done without the utmost of care," Starswirl advised as Twilight nodded her head in understanding.

After gaining enough awareness of what she needs to do, Twilight began to use her new Alicorn Time Powers to slow objects around the area so she could use them to get across. Twilight looked ahead and saw some platforms moving in front of her rather quickly. But remembering what Starswirl taught her, she used her Alicorn Time Magic and slowed the platforms down for only a little bit as she jumped from one moving platform to another and then jumped onto another non-moving platform.

This place was like a dream, yet it felt so real at the same time, even here Twilight could feel an ancient history in this place, it was like something even Luna could never reach despite her own powers. But after a little platforming and time slow-downs, Twilight saw a purple platform just ahead of her, and felt strange as she glides down to the platform with a glowing table that was similar to the pool of vision she saw in the temple. When she arrived, Starswirl reappeared as the young Alicorn approached him, and the glowing table.

Twilight went to the platform that looked like one of magic.

"You appeared to have abandoned your true calling, Twilight. As the Alicorn Warrior, you know that it is your destiny to harness the power of the elements. Yet, you possess not," Starswirl said, seeing how Twilight hasn't been able to use her abilities for quite a while since her battle with Slash.

"I haven't been able to use my abilities for some time now," Twilight said, looking down at the glowing platform while recalling that she hasn't been keeping a check on her abilities or if her full powers have returned yet on their own.

"Yes, but right now your powers lay dormant within you, Twilight. Let's if we could not awaken them," Starswirl advised, giving Twilight a little bit of determination as Twilight hopped onto the glowing platform and closed her eyes.

"Clear your mind, Twilight. And feel the power of Sorcery and Magic that flows through your veins. Allow their abilities to consume you and breathe within it. Now, rise up and release the Magic within you," Starswirl instructed as Twilight felt the magic around her beginning to swell and surge like it once did before.

And releasing the Magic within her, Twilight did.

Twilight rose up, floating into the air again, and feeling the power of magic swell all around her as sparkles of magic were beginning to surround her and before Twilight knew it, she unleashed her Magic Fury Attack in a huge explosion just like the element she used before, which means she has reawakened her element of Magic.

Breathing heavily, Twilight finally landed back down and felt her powers were beginning to awaken again.

"Excellent, Twilight. You're a natural. But now that a Primal Magic rages inside of you, show me you have commands over it. Follow the floating platforms to test your new abilities," Starswirl said proudly, congratulating Twilight on her work of reawakening the magic while Twilight looked at herself and the wall of magic disappeared.

Seeing that she has now reawakened her element of Magic, Twilight was able to follow the floating platforms where she could test her new powers. Along the way, she entered the first platform where she encountered some trolls made of stone. Four of them at least.

"Remember, Twilight. Use your magic to levitate, teleport, and cast spells on your enemies," Starswirl advised, instructing Twilight on how to use her new magic on her enemies.

Twilight fought the stone trolls with her magic. Using levitation, teleportations, and even spells to defeat them all with ease and without a sweat. After they were defeated, two small platforms appeared from below, making stairs that lead to the second platform. Following those to the second platform, Twilight saw there were four more stone trolls to defeat.

Then Starswirl appeared and further instructed her, "Now, Twilight. Use your Magic Dash Attack to charge through your enemies with massive damage,".

As the Stone Trolls approached her, Twilight managed to charge through them with her new Magic Dash and caused some massive damage to her enemies.

When they were all defeated, Twilight headed to the third platform where she saw three torches that needed to be lightened up and a wall of magic blocking her way.

Starswirl appeared again and gave Twilight another instruction on how to use her reawakened magic, "Use your magic to light up these torches to pass this task," He instructed before disappearing again.

Quickly and easily, Twilight managed to light up all three torches with her magic and the wall of the magic disappeared, allowing Twilight to walk through and head to the next platform. When she got there and landed, Twilight finds herself teleported to another platform.

Appearing around her are three gems of different colors. One on Twilight's left is red, the next one to her right is green, and the final one in front is blue. Starswirl appeared as Twilight turned to him to ask him about the gems.

"Starswirl, what do these gems mean?" Twilight asked, pointing to the surrounding gems, wanting to know their purpose.

"Well, Twilight, the red gems will help you with your health and strength," Starswirl replied, pointing to the red gems on Twilight's left.

"The green gems will help you refill your magic whenever you run out," Starswirl explained more, pointing to the green gems on Twilight's right.

"And then there's the blue gem. This will help you strengthen your magic and make it more powerful than it was before," Starswirls said, pointing to the blue gem last before he disappears.

Knowing what she had to do, Twilight approached the red gem and started kicking, whacking, and even zapping it until it broke up into little pieces and absorbed into her body like magic. She did the same thing to the green gem and the blue gem. Once she was done, three platforms appeared and Twilight jumped on them to reach the other platform and finds herself being teleported again.

It would have appeared that Twilight has been teleported to another platform where she sees four more of those Stone Trolls beginning to move and in the center lies a purple gem.

Starswirl appeared alongside Twilight and gave her his final instruction on Magic and Sorcery, "When you defeat your enemies, Twilight, they will release a purple gem. Fuel up your magic and then unleash it into a Magic Fury Attack," He said before disappearing again to let Twilight complete her final exercise.

Twilight charged at the purple gem in the center and whacked, kicked, and zapped it into pieces. Then Twilight fought the Stone Trolls with ease until they were defeated, and more purple gems were released, absorbing into Twilight's body and powering up her Fury Attack.

More Stone Trolls appeared and began to attack Twilight. But the Alicorn Mare didn't let them stop her for she kept on fighting them and defeating them and powering up her Fury Attack. When the Stone Trolls surround her, and her Fury Attack is all fueled up…

Twilight rose up into the air, feeling the magic swell around her like what has happened before, as she concentrated on her magic, and just when the Stone Trolls were about to strike…

BOOM!

Twilight has unleashed her Magic Fury Attack, exploding it all around the place for the blast was so strong it shook the area in a powerful manner, and this destroyed any statue that was still attacking her.

The Stone Trolls find themselves being bombarded by Magic Fireballs before all of them are defeated. This means that Twilight has shown some command of her magic and has completed her test of reawakening her magic as she finally landed on the ground again, and felt the power surging in her still.

A final set of platforms appeared ahead that led her to the temple ahead.

After completing her exercise and reawakening her magic, Twilight hopped over the platforms and made her way to the temple ahead.

Twilight enters a temple where two giant Alicorn Statues were standing by the entrance. As she enters through the large door which led her to the center of the place, Twilight sees that right ahead of her in the center of the temple lies what looks like the Pool Of Vision, along with the symbols that represented the elements of the guardians. The place was felt so ancient, it felt more ancient than anything in Equestria's history, and Twilight just wanted to know more of this world and the story's that are told. When she approached the vision pool and looked through it, hoping to find something from it, Starswirl appeared before her again.

"You have done well, Twilight. And now it is time for you to return. But be careful, Twilight, for the enemy approaches," Starswirl said, warning Twilight of what danger could be heading her way when she returns, which Twilight already has a bad feeling about.

"Wait, Starswirl. You still haven't told me who this friend of yours is," Twilight pointed out, reminding Starswirl that he hasn't told her the name of his friend yet.

"You should know him as the Oracle. Seek him out, Twilight," Starswirl instructed as he showed Twilight a picture of a great tree within a dark forest of mist and gloom in the pool before everything went white…

Meaning Twilight is about to awake…and return to her own world…
