Water And Air
In The Dream Realm…
Twilight begins to wake up and finds herself back in the Dream Realms, like she was before when she got her powers back. And if she's here, then somepony else is here with her too.
Shaking her head and getting up again, Twilight saw that the platform she was on had a few puddles of water and noticed the place was a little chilly as her body was beginning to shiver.
"Ooooh, it's a little cold here," Twilight said, shivering a little before she looked around the ledge and headed off as she glided down from one platform to the next where she encountered another elemental glowing circle and instead of seeing the spirit of Starswirl, Twilight saw two spirit ponies waiting for her.
One spirit pony was a Pegasus Stallion with an amber coat, moderate red mane and tail, and Brilliant turquoise eyes. He also appears to be wearing gray metal armor covering his cutie mark of a blue feather, a mountain peak, and a gray metal helmet with a red mohawk on top. Twilight knows him as Flash Magnus, another member of the Pillars.
The next pony is a Unicorn Mare with a light mulberryish gray coat, light gray horn, ear tips, and hooves, light grayish cerulean eyes, a dark green flowing mane with light green streaks, and her cutie mark is of a cloud of mist. This mare is known as Mistmane.
Twilight approached the other platform and landed near the elemental glowing circle as Flash Magnus and Mistmane came in to greet her.
"It's very nice to see you here, Twilight," Flash Magnus said, greeting Twilight with a hoofshake.
"Flash Magnus, Mistmane, very nice to see you here too. Listen, I've done what Starswirl asked of me and my friends. But I'm afraid I got us lost," Twilight said, explaining to them about how she and her friends ended up being lost.
"Now, Twilight as long as the spirits of the Ancestors are with you and your friends. You ponies are never lost. Just calm yourself, Twilight. Sooth your thoughts," Mistmane said, offering her help to Twilight.
"Hop on this," Flash Magnus said, gesturing to Twilight to hop onto the glowing elemental circle, that is glowing a blue and gray color, which the Alicorn did and closed her eyes once again and harnessed the power around her.
"Do not let your Magic control you, Twilight. There are other elements at play here in this world," Mistmane stated while Twilight listened to her explanation.
"That's right. The powers of Beauty and Bravery also move through you. Just like how the waves of the Ocean create the winds that flow through your wings. Let them expand, Twilight," Flash Magnus went next as Twilight readied herself to expand the elements of Water and Air.
Like she did before during Starswirl's session, Twilight slowly started to float in the air again and inhales, feeling the power of Water and Air awaken within her as droplets of water and small gusts of wind begin to surround her and begin spinning.
Closing her wings around her, Twilight opened her eyes and then unleashes it in an elemental burst around her. Twilight took a deep breath and looked at herself once again, which means she has regained and unleashed her next powers…Water and Air.
"Starswirl has taught you well, Twilight," Flash Magnus said, his voice impressed by how Twilight had allowed the elements Water and Air to expand and regain the elements.
"Indeed, remember life seeks out balance, Twilight. For the Alicorn Warrior who can truly master the elements of Sorcery, Beauty, and Bravery as much as Magic, Water, and Air is truly powerful," Mistmane stated to Twilight as said Alicorn Warrior at herself again.
"And is truly powerful in the shifting face of danger. Now that you have reawakened the elements of Water and Air, Twilight. Follow the floating platforms to test the new abilities," Flash Magnus added as the wall of water and wind disappeared.
Following the floating platforms like last time, one was moving around in circles quickly. But Twilight handled that one easily by using her Alicorn Time Magic, which slows the platform down and allows her to hop up on it. Once she was on, Twilight deactivated the Alicorn Time Magic and continued on her task.
When she made it to one of the platforms, more of those stone knights appeared and so did Mistmanes' Spirit.
"Alright, Twilight. Use your element of Water to bubble, soak, and wash away your enemies," Mistmane said, instructing Twilight on how to use her new Water magic on the enemies.
Twilight managed to create a Water Magic Bomb which exploded her enemies one by one. The longer she manages to concentrate, the further and bigger the waves and explosions get and defeats two more Stone Knights. Once they were defeated, a platform appeared from below and a pillar landed on top of it, creating a scale.
Twilight jumped onto the scale and ran up it to reach the next platform, where four more Stone Knights were standing and Flash Magnus's spirit was waiting for her. Once she arrived, Flash Magnus gave her some instructions on Air Magic.
"Now, Twilight. Use the Air Tail Attack on your enemies. This attack is very useful to blow and knock your enemies away from you when you're surrounded," Flash Magnus instructed as the Stone Knights began to move in to attack.
But moving quickly, Twilight moved her tail around creating medium but strong hurricanes of winds on her enemies. The hurricanes swirled them around and around until they stopped and dropped to the ground defeated.
After defeating the Stone Knights, two scales and two platforms appeared from below, creating a path to the next platform above Twilight. Following the path wasn't easy for Twilight because when she walked on the scales, she used her Alicorn Time Magic to slow the scales so she can reach the platforms.
When she made it, Mistmane was there to instruct her for in their way is a pool of water.
"Not only can you use Water Bombs to defeat your enemies. But you can also make platforms to stand on when you shoot them into water or any liquid. Use them to cross this lake, Twilight," Mistmane instructed Twilight as she nodded in reply, understanding what Mistmane was saying.
So shooting her Water Bombs into the lake, Twilight saw that a huge platform made of water spewed out of the lake. And when Twilight hopped on, she saw that it was solid enough for her to walk on and not fall through. Using it again, Twilight made two more platforms and hopped onto them across the lake to the other side.
Making it to the other side, Twilight saw two more scales, only these were moving in a circle. Using her Alicorn Time Magic, Twilight managed to jump from one scale to the next until she made it to the final platform where four Stone Knights were standing, the spirits of Flash Magnus and Mistmane were waiting, and purple-colored Crystals were standing in the center.
"For your final training instruction, Twilight, you must defeat the enemies to fill up your Fury Attack and then unleash the Fury Attack of Air," Flash Magnus said, giving Twilight his final instruction on Air Magic.
"And after that, unleash the Fury Attack of Water to complete this training," Mistmane instructed further as the Stone Knights started to move and began to approach Twilight to attack.
But using her Water Bombs and Air Tail Attack, Twilight was able to defeat them with ease as more and more kept coming to attack her and Twilight still managed to defeat them without a sweat. And once she felt her Fury Attack had been refilled, and the enemies surrounded her, Twilight rose up into the air, concentrated on her air magic, a swirling hurricane of wind appeared, and…
WHOOSH!
Twilight has unleashed her Air Fury Attack in a sudden strong burst of wind.
The Stone Knights find themselves being blown and swirling around the air by strong hurricanes before all of them fall down defeated.
But Twilight wasn't done just yet, because as more Stone Knights appeared and surrounded her again, Twilight rose up into the air, closed her eyes, and inhaled, concentrating on her water magic as a swirling whirlpool appeared around her, and…
KA-WHOOSH!
Twilight has unleashed her Water Magic Fury Attack in a watery explosion.
The Stone Knights find themselves being washed away by a strong water wave, falling off the platform defeated. This means that Twilight has been shown to have balanced her element of magic, air, and water, and has completed her test of reawakening her Air and Water magic.
These powers were great for her to use and Twilight was looking forward to using them more in the future…
After completing her exercise again and reawakening the elements of Water and Air, Twilight enters another temple, which wasn't so different from how it was to the last one, it felt easier to learn here than she was in the dojo with the Guardians.
Twilight made her way inside the temple, where in the center of the temple lies another one of the Vision Pool. When she approached it to see what she'll see next, Flash Magnus and Mistmane appeared before her again.
"Flash Magnus, Mistmane, now what do I do? What is it that the Oracle wants me and my friends to do? I think my friends and I are entitled to know what is happening," Twilight said, wanting the two spirits of the Pillars to explain to her what is happening to their world.
"I'm afraid you and your friends already know what is happening, Twilight," Mistmane said, reminding Twilight that she and her friends already know what is happening.
"That's right. There's a great evil that is awakening. But there is more that you and your friends must understand, Twilight," Flash Magnus said, gesturing Twilight to look into the vision pool to show her another vision that is forming…
In her next vision, Twilight saw a dark mountain that she wished to not see ever again. The mountain was scary looking being draped in shadow, at the top of the mountain lies a face of an Alicorn made of stone, entering through the summit of the mountain is a strange strand of purple light, and leaking out of the mountain is green nasty slime-like liquid pouring down.
"I-I've seen this place before. It frightens me," Twilight said, recognizing the mountain from her visions with a hint of fear in her voice as she saw every part of it in full details.
It was a place of fear and sorrow, a place of pure darkness, someplace that no one would ever go to, unless they want to die.
"This is an evil place, Twilight. It is known as the Mountain Of Dreadmane. Asylum to the wandering phantoms and lost spirits of those who have turned to darkness," Mistmane said, explaining to Twilight about The Mountain Of Dreadmane.
"But to the spirits themselves and black-hearted, it goes by another name…," Flash Magnus went next, showing Twilight the mountain in all of its terror while also telling her about the Mountain having another name that is known only to the black-hearted creatures and the spirits.
A pair of feet appeared on the ground as a staff was planted on the ground next to them. They would seem to have appeared to belong to a tall lanky Primate/Satyr-like creature with light gray fur covered with warts, his right eye is a brilliant opal while his left eye has a shining green jewel, he also appears to be wearing a Viking-like helmet and holding a long staff that is brimming with magic.
"The Well Of Souls." He announced to his followers behind him with a malicious voice as a Dreadwing with its rider appeared in the skies above them, and they look over at the place with evil looks.
Then the tall lanky Primate/Satyr-like creature roared out to them and lifted his staff into the air.
Twilight already has a bad feeling that it will be their last place in this adventure, and that's when she could feel herself finally beginning to wake up once more…
