Chapter 12:
Captured By Sky Pirates
After the Tree Monster was defeated, Spike took the moment to wake up from his slumber and saw the Monster Of The Swamp lying in the lake, defeated and dead. He just couldn't believe his eyes nor do Applejack, Pinkie, Rainbow Dash, and Rarity, who had witnessed the whole thing.
"What the-? Oh, you killed it," Spike said, feeling rather shocked that Twilight, Sunset, and Fluttershy had killed the creature as he, Rarity, Rainbow Dash, Applejack, and Pinkie flew over to the other side of the lake where Twilight, Sunset, and Fluttershy were.
"Hang on, did we like just come all this way here just so we can kill it?" Rainbow Dash said in disbelief, feeling just as confused as Spike was after how much trouble they went through, before she began doing an impersonation of the Monster, "Twilight, Oooh, I am the mighty tree calling you and your friends across the void. Journey hither and vanquish me,".
"You know, Rainbow is right. Maybe we weren't supposed to do that," Sunset said, thinking Rainbow Dash might have a point about them fighting and defeating the creature.
"Yeah, but…wait, you guys don't suppose that was the Oracle," Twilight said with a raised brow, starting to wonder if the Tree Monster they were fighting was the Oracle they have been searching for.
"Alas…," a voice suddenly said, catching the Mane 7 and Spike's attention as they turned to see someone approaching them.
Ahead of them was a very large and very strong Pirate with a tongue hanging out from his mouth, and he has a large scar over his face. He also appears to have a large treasure chest strapped to his back and has only one arm with the other one being a hook that is attached to an elastic rope. He also has a mini cannon gun for one leg.
Perched on the Pirate's shoulder are two Parrot-like creatures, both are wearing pirate skull caps with two gold feathers attached, eye patches, and stitches on their bellies.
"The scarred Alicorn Warrior and her friends who have been wandering lost in the Ancient Grove. You Ponies have quite a nuisance to us," The Orange Parrot-like Bird with his eye patch on his left eye greeted the group while sounding annoyed with them.
The large Pirate only made gurgling sounds and nodded his head, which shows that he wasn't very intelligent.
"Hey, what's with the gurgling nitwit," Spike said, not understanding a word the Pirate said with all that gurgling.
"If I were you, I will be quiet right now. I ain't going to say it again," The Purple Parrot-like Bird with his eye patch over his right eye said, warning Spike to never talk like that.
"Um, Spike. Why don't you stay out of this one?" Twilight asked, turning to Spike.
"Eeyup, and let us handle this ourselves," Applejack added, thinking it might be best for Spike to not get in trouble.
"Yes, mind yourself. Now, to answer your earlier question. No, that wasn't the Oracle, whoever that is, that was Arrborick, and he was going to be the main attraction in our tournament. Now it's ruined," The Orange Parrot said with a hint of disappointment in his voice and annoyed with what they've done.
"Oh dear, we're really sorry we ruined the tournament for you guys," Fluttershy said, apologizing to them for ruining their tournament.
"Yeah, we really feel bad for that," Twilight said, feeling just as ashamed as well.
"Oh, really, no need for remorse. You ponies will do just fine," The Orange Parrot said, pointing a wing at them with a suspicious smirk.
"Anypony have any idea about what he means by that?" Spike asked, having a suspicious feeling about what he said as he, Twilight, and their friends continued on their way…
A few minutes later, Twilight and her friends were about to make their way back to the temple when they had a suspicious feeling that something was about to happen, and they looked around the area, unaware that three Pirates were behind them, holding a blade.
Before they even knew it, The Mane 7 were suddenly hit on the head by the blades of the swords and went unconscious.
The Pirates tied up the seven Alicorns as the Captain came standing before them with an evil smirk and cackled for their success in capturing the most powerful creatures in Equestria.
While the Mane 7 were unconscious, the Pirates loaded them and Spike, who has been put into a cage, onto their boat. Next, they shipped across the sky, taking their bounty to their main ship, which is much bigger than any of the other ships. And within it, is a huge arena where they have their tournament…
