Marinette needs to make difficult decisions to protect herself and the people she loves, in addition to overcoming traumas and insecurities that take her out of focus and away from her only and most important partner, Cat Noir.

Peter and Angela's thoughts about family, love, and each other during the church scene. It turns out that even those with powers are still only human deep down, and perhaps love and hope are the only things left, but they are enough for a small piece of healing.
