Okay, all you wonderful readers. You mean a lot to me and I love getting your reviews. It's provided me with so much helpful feedback too. That gets me to a place here where I'm going to omit parts of chapters and have a companion pairing named "Immortal Moon S" this time the S will stand for Sex. It's a nod to Sailor Moon S. Now, if you have a favorite pairing and want to read about them you can read the chapter there. Every time there will be a more mature chapter that will be edited down for the main story I will note that at the beginning.

If you read my other Sailor Moon stories, know I'm doing this because of reviews I got on "How to Love a Princess" that I felt were completely right and justified. It had a lot of smut in it. Waaaay too much in attempting to not leave out a ship for anyone. This won't keep all the smut out of this main story. Mamoru and Usagi went through so much to be together. AND you are here to read about them.

Immortal Moon S will be clearly labeled. For example, "Chapter 23 - Ami & Zoisite" that way if you ship them and want to read about them together, you can easily find it. Also, I will only post the smut chapters there. It won't be updated every time I update Immortal Moon. You will still need to follow the main story.

I will be posting the whole, unabridged chapter in Immortal Moon S. That way, you don't have to be reading from two versions for those chapters.

IMPORTANT: Yes, there is a reason I'm writing this now. This is one of those very chapters. If you want to read smut about Ami and Zoisite, then find Immortal Moon S. If not, keep reading for the abridged version.

Blueeyeddevil06, thank you for being my beta and helping me with this whole chapter.

Ami blushed as Zoisite gazed at her from across the table at the restaurant where he had taken her. She had surprised herself after that first cup of coffee days ago and kissed him after he walked her home. It wasn't like her; for her, that was moving quickly.

After the disaster that had been her parents' marriage, then the epic blow-up of her father's second marriage, and the third, she didn't much trust men. He was good at two things, finding amazing women and then treating them like crap. In a bizarre twist, Ami got along with all his ex-wives. And by the looks of how marriage number four was going, that list was about to get longer. She had seen how beautiful, intelligent women could fall for absolute garbage. Her mother was her best example. She was the Chief of Surgery for the largest hospital in Tokyo and everyone always thought she was a fashion model when she went out.

Zoisite was totally not her type. He was beautiful, with green eyes and long hair. Then there was the air of danger and male power that hung about him. It wasn't dominance she felt, but ease and comfort in his own skin. He just exuded a sense of careful control.

She felt his leg press against hers under the table, and everything clicked. This was how a smart woman could lose her head and fall for a man.

He wasn't shy about his feelings for her. He stared directly at her, and when other women tried to catch his eye while they were out together, he was incredibly cold to them. One time, the look he shot a woman even made Ami shiver, and it wasn't directed at her at all. When he looked at her, warmth radiated from his eyes, and electricity seemed to buzz between them.

Heat was pooling in her stomach as his leg stayed pressed against hers. He leaned forward, took her hand gently, and gave her a soft smile, "did I mention you're just brilliant?" That made her laugh out loud. She was feeling incredibly dumb right now–she was falling in love with him.

From the moment that they had coffee together, he had become important to her. She blushed to think how much time they spent together since then and there was all the FaceTiming and the texts. She even sent him a picture of herself, clothed of course, but looking sexy. She noticed it was his lock screen on his phone. That pleased her.

She didn't know what it was about him that made her feel so reckless. The horrifying part of it to her was how incredible it felt. She wanted to lose control and feel his body pressed to hers. She tamped that thought down hard.

Truth was that as honest as she was with everything in her life, one big thing hadn't been said. She was terrified to tell him she wasn't a human like he was–she was a vampire.

She had stopped aging five years ago. Luckily for her, she was at that age where your physical appearance doesn't change much from year to year. She still had to figure out how to tell her mother what she was. So it shocked her when she desperately wanted to tell him.

She had become a vampire in, she figured, the weirdest possible way. It had become a drunken lab experiment, never a good idea, with a lab partner who wasn't what Ami expected her to be. She stayed away from tequila after that for good. Although she didn't have to deal with the hangover. The vampire blood fixed that for her. They were still friends, but Sheryl had gone back to her home country of America.

His comment about her being brilliant had touched her, even though she was feeling dumb. He did tell her she was pretty, and made her feel that way, but it was her mind that fascinated him. He loved asking her about her studies, and she enjoyed that he was smart enough to understand them.

She gently drew her hand back from his light hold and fidgeted with her napkin. She couldn't look at him right now. She wanted more from a man for the first time in her life.

"Ami, where are you right now? You're retreating. Did I do something wrong?" She looked up at him and his pleading look made her heart lurch. She could see she was hurting him. They were finished with dinner, so she grabbed his hand and said, "we need to go somewhere to talk privately."

"No way!" he announced, leaning back and crossing his arms, having abruptly pulled his hand out of hers. "Give me another chance before breaking up with me or do it right here. I don't know what I did, but I can't have this drawn out." She felt terrible for laughing in his face, but she couldn't help herself.

"You absolute dope!" she teased. "I have something I want to tell you about myself, and it's personal, and I don't want others hearing what I'm going to be trusting you with." She watched as joy broke out across his pretty face.

"Oh…well in that case, lead the way," he said. He then stood up and held her chair for her. After she got up, he took her hand in his and laced their fingers together. "Where to?"

She looked up at him bashfully and said, "My place. If that's okay with you."

His eyes heated as he peered down at her. "Lead the way."

When they got to her apartment, she asked him to sit down. He listened and then watched as she started to pace. "This is hard for me. I haven't even told my mother," she blurted out.

"Don't feel like you have to say anything that would make you uncomfortable. If you're worried about keeping a secret from me, then please don't. It can be enough that I know that you have one."

She stopped in the middle of the rug in front of him, and her whole being melted. She couldn't figure out how he could be so understanding and thoughtful. That wasn't her experience with her father. Then hope bloomed in her chest. A hope that said maybe he wasn't like her father and she wasn't foolish for feeling safe with him.

Her words came out of her mouth suddenly, "I love you," she realized they were true. She then immediately laughed. "That wasn't the secret. You're just so incredible."

He was off the couch and pulling her into his arms by the time she was done with her confession. "I love you too, Ami. I fell for you over coffee."

She held him and said, "I fell completely for you over what you just said about my secret. Thank you. I'm still going to tell you, though."

This time when he sat on the couch, she joined him. She faced him and took a deep breath. She forced herself to calm down and said, "This is going to sound completely crazy, but…I'm a… vampire." The relief in his eyes and his comment of "oh thank goodness!" shocked her.

"You're relieved?" She looked at him, completely puzzled.

He smiled at her and said, "I'm a werewolf. I know all about vampires, witches, and well, my kind."

She blinked at him unbelieving. "Wait, werewolves are real?" He chuckled, nodded and said, "yes, we are."

She then burst out laughing so hard tears came to her eyes. "And I thought I was going to shock you."

"There's more," he admitted. "Danger that I intend to keep you out of, but it's going to get bad for a while. My pack and I are going against Diamond. We have help, well, I think we'll have help. We're planning to try to work with a vampire."

"You don't want my help?" She asked, hurt. She didn't know why it bothered her so much that he instantly sidelined her.

"Why would I pull you into my mistake? We worked for him, and destroying him is the only way out."

She rolled her eyes in annoyance and crossed her arms. "I'm not foolish and won't rush into trouble. But you might need my help. Or were you lying every time you said you thought I was brilliant?!" She stood and stormed across the room. "I've figured out a way to make blood tablets! Know what they are?!" She didn't wait for him to respond; she just kept going. "I made a pill that you can drop in a glass of drinking water and it makes blood I can actually live on! It mixes a bit of blood with a lot of freaking hard science, and it works! I came up with it all on my own!" It didn't taste as good as the real thing, but it broke the need for lots of human blood. She thought of it like vegan steak. It fed you but it wasn't the real thing. "How do you know you don't need me!?"

He stood and yelled, "stop! You're angry I don't want you involved with stopping Diamond?! He's a monster, and if something happens to you, it will kill me!"

"You assume I'm dumb enough to get myself killed?!"

He balled his fists tightly at his sides and yelled, "I'm afraid of losing you!"

She glared at him, "and the fact that Diamond is all about collateral damage, did you think of that?! I'm already a target!"

Pain registered on his face. "Damn. Ami, we're breaking up. Once he's dead, maybe you'll forgive me and take me back."

He went to leave, and she grabbed him and shoved him against the wall. "Like hell you're leaving me! You think I've ever loved a man before? You think I'll lose this?! If you break up with me, it will be because you don't love me! Did you stop so quickly?"

"No, but you're right. It's not safe being with me!"

"Screw safe!"

She then released him and stopped yelling. "If you walk out that door, we're over for good. I'm not saying I have to fight Diamond, but I have to help and be involved. Choose. I want to fight for the man I love. What do you want from me?"

He caressed her cheek lovingly and frowned. "You in my arms. You need to listen to me, though. He's evil."

"Then trust me. Know that I won't do anything rash. I just want to be a part of your life! Why shut me out?"

"Because you shouldn't be in danger because I made a bad decision. Let me fix my sins."

A tear came to her eyes, spilled over, and slid down her cheek. "I'm not this woman you want me to be. I can't sit on the sidelines of your life. How is that even remotely fair to me? I'm not a liability."

He scoffed, "never. I never meant that. You're precious, my princess. Werewolves are ridiculously protective of their mate, and you're mine." He cupped her cheek and looked down at her, locking eyes with her, "I'm in this until death. It's yours I can't bear to fathom. You have no idea how relieved I am that you're a vampire. Male mates rarely outlive the death of their spouse by very long."

He then kissed her cheek. "I know your experience with your father has been so very hard and different. But know this, real love can last and you're mine. Mine," he said again with a growl in his voice. She could feel the wolf inside him claiming her, and it excited her to her core.

Still, she pushed, "choose."

He stepped back, and Ami tensed up. It looked to her like he was retreating into himself, and that terrified her. She knew she was the one forcing a decision on him that had the possibility of devastating her. But she refused to let him keep her out of part of his life. Her father did that. She watched him time after time, making space in his life that was just for him, and his wife didn't know about it. It was always where he found a pair of open legs that didn't care that he was married.

She couldn't do that. She couldn't watch him go off and begin to believe that she didn't have to be involved in all of his life. She couldn't watch him compartmentalize her into a box. She needed all or nothing.

He was still quiet, and she teared up. She drew back and started to speak. No words would come. She didn't know how to let go and watch him walk away.

His eyes snapped to hers, and she heard him growl. It was all animal and came from the wolf within him. It caused a deep desire to pool in her stomach and surge through her veins. She was a confusing mix of hurt and turned on.

He yanked her to him. Not in a way to hurt her or that held any violence. It was an act of pure claiming as he pressed her body to his tightly and kissed her senseless. All the hurt and the fear in her were replaced entirely by a white-hot desire. One he awoke in her with that one act of possession. She didn't know she was capable of the passion stirring in her, but she knew now.

When he pulled back, his eyes were so dilated they looked black. He kissed the edge of her mouth and trailed hot kisses down to her neck. When he got there, he tipped her head back and ever so gently opened his mouth to take her neck in his mouth. She felt blunted teeth resting on her throat, and he growled again. He was panting out harsh breaths, and it felt warm on her skin.

He then pulled back and looked deep into her eyes. "Mine. You are mine. Mine." Finally, she nodded, and that seemed to satisfy something in him. She knew something was happening and felt like she was at a disadvantage, not understanding werewolf culture.

"You will help me defeat Diamond, but I can't promise not to be a jerk about it sometimes. I will need to be reminded that this is something you should be involved in. Please be patient with me."

She kissed his cheek, smiling, and said, "thank you, this means a lot to me. And I will be patient. I promise."

He held her tightly and sighed into her hair. "I need to leave now. I can't stay."

She pulled back and, disappointed, said, "I-I understand."

He chuckled and shook his head. "No, you really don't, my temptress. If I stay, I'm going to have the fight of my life behaving myself. You have no idea how much I want you right now. I'm trying to be a gentleman."

She looked at him absolutely sexually thrilled, leaned forward, and whispered in his ear, "What if I don't want you to be a gentleman? What if I want the werewolf who claims me?"

She pulled back and watched him swallow hard. The way his whole look transformed from innocent to dark and dangerous radiated sex and made her realize that the passion he elicited from her would keep finding new depths. She wanted him.

"I'll try to be gentle," he said, shaking with his attempt to hold back.

"I'm a vampire. I don't need gentle–I don't want gentle."

He looked into her eyes, "one word from you, and I'll back off," he vowed.

"I can take anything you do to me," she challenged him. She added, "can I bite you and drink from you as you make love to me?"

"Oh, hell yes!" he said excitedly.

She watched him hesitate for a brief second. Then he reached out and grabbed her up into his arms and carried her to her bedroom. In her apartment, it was easy to find.

SsssssssssssssssssssS

It was the pounding on her door that broke them apart in the late morning. He grumbled, pulled on boxers, and threw a blanket over her. "That's Kunzite. I'll get rid of him." He could scent his friend at the door.

She heard him wrench open her front door as she went to put clothes on after closing her bedroom door. Next, she heard, who she assumed to be Kunzite, stomping into her apartment, slamming the door, and then yelling, "You weren't fucking answering your phone—dip-shit!"

"Okay, Mom," Zoisite sassed back. "That's why you're here? Because I didn't answer your call, you absolute lunatic?!"

"No! I was trying to tell you we have a meeting at one, and now I had to track down your sorry ass!"

The fury in Kunzite died the moment he looked behind Zoisite and saw a pretty blue-haired girl with a werewolf mark on her shoulder. She was wearing a spaghetti strap top, and the mark was clearly visible to him. "You're marked," he said dumbly, gazing at her.

"I am? I couldn't see it," she said, looking down at her shoulder in confusion. "I thought something went wrong." And she did. She had felt gutted not to see the mark.

Kunzite shook his head, trying to focus. "Only werewolves can see them."

Zoisite gestured for her to come over and said, "Ami, this is Kunzite, one of my pack-mates." He looked at his friend and said, "meet Ami, my-"

"Mate," she said, cutting him off.

Kunzite gave her a huge smile and said, "and let me guess; you're a vampire."

"How did you know?" She asked, shocked.

His head snapped suddenly to look at Zoisite. "I was kidding. Is she for real?"

Zoisite chuckled, "Trust me, it's real."

A dazed, "why is it always the tiny women?" Slipped from Kunzite.

That got him back on track. "Speaking of tiny women, one o'clock–Mamoru's place. Usagi will be there." They had met for poker there before, so that was all the information Zoisite needed.

"Usagi?" Ami asked.

Zoisite nodded. "She's the vampire I told you about that we're hoping to work with."

Her eyes shot wide. "You mean Usagi-Usagi? The Usagi? The vampire who is over four hundred years old and crazy powerful?"

"You've heard of her, I take it," Kunzite quipped.

"Yeah—I've heard of her," Ami deadpanned.

"Well, you're meeting her at one today," Zoisite replied.

Kunzite raised one eyebrow, "She's coming?"

Zoisite growled threateningly and said, "she's my mate, and I gave her my word she could be involved."

Kunzite held up his hands in mock surrender. "I was just asking. It wasn't a challenge."

He then turned to Ami and said, "why don't you bring this dork with you after he fully dresses and then meet the guys before one. They will be happy to meet you."

"How do you know?" She asked, suddenly nervous.

"You're his mate. Of course we'll all like you." She smiled and instantly felt at ease.
