A/N: Guess who's back? After a long hiatus, a job change, various macs dying, and a social media break, I'm back with a rewrite/reboot of The Ultra Crystals. Fingers crossed it'll go smoother with less dangling plot threads but…who knows? Updates will come slowly but steadily.

Prologue: Beginnings Rebooted
In the vast expanse of the multiverse, many stories intersect. In one dimension, seven heroes stand victorious over the flaming ruins of their archenemy's base, stamping their hooves and cheering in relief. In another, a lone hero slinks away after an emotional battle. In yet another, a cadre of warriors collapses; with victory or defeat hanging by a thread.
These warriors, the multiversally powerful Ultra Rangers, have defended their world several times over from exceptionally powerful enemies. Fate will be kind to them here. They will stand victorious but their lives will never be the same.
However, change is the only constant. A butterfly will flap its wings to change winds. A stone is kicked at the wrong moment. Or a wormhole, allowing a set of powerful crystals to arrive on an Earth early, never opens. Instead, they fall into a black hole, travelling through the singularity into a completely different dimension. One that has been touched by the Power before. One that has forgotten its potential.
There are no coincidences in life and all events intersect. One destined hero must come to terms with his past, gather the force, and, hopefully, survive the onslaught.
Will these new warriors rise to the challenge? Or will they fall early in defeat?
