This story takes place between the last book of the Lux series and the first book of the Origin series. Part of it takes place in the past and part in the present. I've never written fan fiction before but I couldn't stop dreaming this scene so I had to get it out somehow. Hope you enjoy it.

This is a totally different story from Katy's point of view as an alien. Daemon is of course, included. And guess what the best part is? No one's dead. Yet. I am aware that there is another story where Katy is potrayed as a Luxen, but trust me this is not the same. I hope you enjoy reading it.

Katy shifts to a new town with a heavy past she cannot forget and meets the Black family . All human.

Kat has a rule: no humans, whatsoever. Her new neighbor Daemon is no exception...at least that's shat she thought. After all, some rules are meant to be broken.

So this is kind of what life would look like before the end of the last book. Like they don't actually own a house and Andrew and Ash are mentioned, so they aren't dead. (They're Jennifer L. Armentrout's character's also, but apparently it only lets you add four which is stupid.) However, Katy's mom is dead. Oh and this is my first fanfic so please be gentle :)

This is Obsidian from Daemon's POV. I fell in love with this series as soon as I found it and LOVED finding the parts that the author did from Daemon's POV. I wanted to see the whole story that way, so here it is. I hope I can do Daemon justice and keep him in character. I don't own any part of this series or this story. Read and Review! Daemon leaves Katy for her own good. But what daemon doesn't know is that he didn't just leave Katy. He took away a lot with him from her and gave a lot for her too. I do not own the Lux series and Jennifer does a fantastic job by owning it!

Set during Onyx. Daemon is once again voicing his dislike for Katy training with Black, so Katy decides to use her new found powers against him...in the fun kind of way of course.
