It is the year 2183 and humanity has dealt with two world-changing events: the revelation of the supernatural to the general population and the discovery of alien life. Enter Harry Dresden, the wizard ultimately responsible for the breakdown of the Masquerade, and Commander Alicia Shepard, a mortal soldier pulled into a fight for life everywhere. Massive property damage ensues.

Harry Dresden and John Shepard are dead; of course, -being- dead doesn't mean -staying- that way. Trapped in alien worlds and surrounded by new, deadly enemies, they'll need every trick they know just to survive. You can't run from the Reaper forever - but you can make him work for it.
