POV: Smoker

Location: G5 Headquarters

Smoker's office at G5 exuded a stern atmosphere. Vice Admiral Viergo requested his presence via Den Den Mushi. Smoker approached the meeting without enthusiasm, anticipating news that could further upset the unit's precarious balance. He knew from experience that each meeting with his superior was synonymous with great upheavals for the G5 unit.

Taking his role as a Marine officer seriously, Smoker strode to his commanding officer's office. In front of the door, he was astonished to see it wide open.

A strong presentiment accompanied each visit to this office, without ever knowing its origin. Perhaps the atmosphere in the office was the reason for this uneasiness. Despite his time at G5, Smoker couldn't fathom how his superior functioned in such a dimly lit office.

Thick curtains prevented the slightest ray of sunlight from entering the almost empty room. No personal effects and no decorations were inside. Only the bare minimum provided by the Navy: a low-end wooden shelf and a desk common to all officers.

At the back of the room, Smoker saw a figure gradually rising.

"Commodore Smoker, come in."

Smoker, his expression closed, walks through the door with the firmness characteristic of his authority. Vice Admiral Viergo, behind his desk, stared at Smoker with apparent calm, aware of the colonel's reluctance to accept abrupt changes.

"Vice Admiral Viergo, you have requested my presence. What is the reason for this summons?"

As Smoker stared directly into his superior's eyes and noticed the hesitation, he immediately understood that the forthcoming news would displease him.

"Commodore Smoker, the Marine has decided to assign Captain Tanya Degurechaff to G5. She will be placed under your command for the unit recovery mission."

Smoker narrowed his eyes, expressing clear reserve. "Why her, and why now?" he asked, showing his skepticism about this decision.

He vividly recalled his initial encounter with the young girl during the evaluation. Although she had demonstrated unprecedented and unexplained combat abilities, this young girl remained an anomaly in the ranks of the Marine. A shiver ran down his spine as he recalled the cold, emotionless look she had given to the unfortunate soldier who confronted her. A cold, emotionless look like a machine could have done simply applying the orders given to it…

Vice Admiral Viergo, surely aware of the need to explain in detail, began to list the reasons behind Tanya's choice.

"The Marine is convinced that Captain Degurechaff has essential strategic expertise and combat experience necessary for the G5. Furthermore, I will not teach you anything by telling you that the abuses of the G5 have very seriously damaged the image of the Marine among citizens. Leveraging the image of the new heroine could open up new possibilities for us".

"Her expertise is unquestionable, but the G5 unit doesn't require an icon solely adept at serving as a mascot for the public. Having already met the captain for the first time, I can assure you that she will not be compatible with my unit."

His superior's face remained impassive, but having spent some time around him, Smoker knew his superior was growing impatient. The fact that he removed a small piece of meat stuck in his beard, was a clear sign of his impatience. "Commodore, the Marine is convinced that its presence will not be limited to an administrative role or an icon. It intends to immerse itself in the daily life of the G5, to work hand in hand with the soldiers on the field to restore discipline and efficiency."

While getting up from his chair, Vice Admiral Viergo walked towards Smoker and, with a dignified hand, accompanied him towards the exit of his office. "She will prove to be a valuable asset to our mission. The Marine made this decision after a thorough analysis of her skills and past results."

Commodore Smoker, though reluctant, briefly acquiesced, accepting the Marine's decision while maintaining his reservations. As Vice Admiral Viergo headed to the mess hall, Smoker found himself alone in front of this empty room with a new responsibility to integrate into his recovery plan for the G5, aware that the coming days would bring unexpected challenges.

After the meeting with Commander Viergo, commodoreSmoker instinctively went to his warship. He had gotten into the habit of going there from time to time to be able to reflect and take a step back from the challenges he faced. Immersed in thought while enjoying the sea air and the sound of the waves, Smoker pondered the implications of Captain Tanya Degurechaff's impending arrival at G5.

"Commodore Smoker, may I give you my report for the day?" Hearing a soft, feminine voice behind him, Smoker rolled his eyes before drawing a breath from his two cigars".

"Go ahead, Captain Tashigi." Smoker indicated while turning to his right arm.

Tashigi, having served alongside this man for a considerable time, was accustomed to reading her superior's moods and immediately noticed his latent annoyance. "Is something wrong, Commodore?"

The man was silent for a moment before responding, letting out a sigh. "The Marine has decided to assign Captain Tanya Degurechaff to the G5. She will be under my command for our recovery mission."

Tashigi narrowed her eyes slightly, surprised by this unexpected development. She knew Captain Degurechaff by reputation, but the impact of her arrival at the G5 was still to be assessed, "Captain Degurechaff? What does that mean for us, Commodore?"

Colonel Smoker, showing signs of frustration, briefly explained the situation, emphasizing the need for cooperation with the new member while maintaining discipline within the unit. "She brings strategic skills and combat experience, but I have doubts about her ability to integrate into the unit. The Marine seems to think she can improve our image, but I'm unconvinced."

"And what is your opinion, Commodore?"

Smoker sighed once more, conveying his reservations.

"We need to remain vigilant. I don't want the effectiveness of the G5 to be compromised by office decisions."

Tashigi nodded, understanding the commodore's position. She felt the weight of the challenges ahead and prepared to collaborate with Captain Degurechaff while remaining vigilant about the potential impacts on the dynamics of the unit. The G5 was entering a period of uncertainty, and Commodore Smoker, despite being on edge, was determined to uphold the discipline and efficiency of his unit.

POV: Tanya Degurechaff

Location: Marineford

The two weeks since the announcement of her assignment to the G5 had been intense for Captain Tanya Degurechaff. Utilizing her final days at Marine HQ, she worked tirelessly to prepare for her imminent integration into the unit. Sitting at her desk, immersed in reports and strategic plans, Tanya felt the anticipation building.

The first days were dedicated to thoroughly understanding how the G5 worked, its strengths and weaknesses.

While scrutinizing every line of text, Tanya discovered a shocking list of disciplinary infractions, protocol violations, and reports of excessive brutality. She quickly understood why the G5 was considered the "worst unit" in the Marine.

The detailed descriptions of the G5's past actions were hard to ignore, and the picture that emerged depicted a unit rife with anarchy and indiscipline.

Tanya's analytical mind kicked in as she methodically assessed the unit's problems and areas of weakness. She took note of areas where discipline was lacking, relations between members were strained, and standard procedures were neglected.

"If even one of my soldiers from my previous battalion behaved like this, I would have made it clear before he hit the ground, courtesy of a bullet in his skull…"

Tanya not only condemned the past actions of the G5 but also sought solutions. She began developing a recovery strategy based on a combination of disciplinary reforms, the reinforcement of standard procedures, and fostering team spirit within the unit, similar to what she had applied with the 203ᵉ.

Aware of the challenges ahead, Tanya also planned in-depth training sessions and exercises aimed at establishing a culture of respect and cooperation within G5. She understood that her role would extend beyond an administrative position, requiring direct involvement on the ground to change the existing dynamic.

Tanya mentally prepared herself for the potential hostility of some members of the G5. Particularly from Commodore Smoker, but she was determined to transform this unit into a disciplined and effective force serving the Marine. The two weeks of preparation had only strengthened her resolve, and she was ready to face the challenges within G5, demonstrating her capabilities to her superiors.

As the days passed, Tanya developed a clear vision of how she wanted to approach the G5 mission. She aspired to be more than just an office worker. She desired to understand the terrain, sense the dynamics of the unit, and earn the trust of its members.

"I wonder how my integration into this unit will unfold. It makes me realize that I still don't fully understand my role within it"

"Captain Degurechaff, I'm sorry to bother you. Marine HQ would like you to answer questions from reporters regarding your involvement in the Marineford War and the death of Fire Fist Ace."

Surprised by the interruption, Tanya motioned for the soldier camped outside her bedroom door to enter.

The Marine, standing in front of Tanya's bedroom door, waited for her response after relaying Admiral Akainu's direct order. Tanya, sitting behind her desk, stared intently at the soldier.

"I understand the situation, private, but I would prefer to avoid any unnecessary distractions. My priorities lie with the mission of restoring the G5."

"Admiral Akainu emphasized this point. He believes this will help shape a positive image of the Marine, showing its commitment to transparency and accountability."

Tanya sighed inwardly. She was well aware of the importance of the Marine's public image, but she feared it would distract from its core mission within the G5. However, she could not ignore a direct order from Admiral Akainu.

"Since when has he taken an interest in this kind of thing? It's not his style"

Although she did not want to deal with journalists, Tanya had no choice but to accept her assignment. "Very well, arrange the meeting with the press. I will go and answer their questions, but ensure they focus on my current mission. We must stay focused on the future."

The soldier saluted respectfully and moved away to execute Tanya's instructions. Alone now, Tanya contemplated the situation. She remembered the aggressive press media, ready to dig up the most sensational details of her past. However, she promised to remain in control of the situation, using this opportunity to direct attention to her efforts to rehabilitate the G5.

Tanya rose from her desk, adjusted her uniform, and made her way to the central square of Marineford where the press was gathered, mentally preparing herself for the challenging questions from the reporters. She intended to respond confidently, keeping in mind her primary mission of restoring the unit to a reputation worthy of the Marine.

The entire world press was stationed not far from the Ox-Ford bell. Journalists from various media organizations gathered for the press conference featuring Captain Tanya Degurechaff. Cameras stood ready to capture every word and expression on the captain's face while reporting teams positioned themselves to broadcast the event live.

Standing behind the lectern set up for the occasion, Tanya felt the weight of the media attention. She knew that every question would be carefully considered, every answer analyzed. She took a deep breath and spoke.

"Ladies and gentlemen of the press, thank you for your presence today. I am here to answer your questions regarding my future assignment within the G5."

Impatient journalists raised their hands to ask their questions. The conference moderator who accompanied Tanya gave the floor to the first journalist.

"Captain Degurechaff, let's talk about your involvement in the Marineford War. Some feel that your presence here could be controversial due to the events of that war. How do you address these concerns?"

Tanya, calm and determined, replied confidently.

"I understand that my actions during the Marineford War may raise questions. However, I am here primarily to dedicate myself to the mission of restoring the G5. My commitment to this mission is absolute, and I am prepared to put into action all necessary measures to restore discipline and efficiency within the unit."

The reporters' questions continued, touching on various aspects of Tanya Degurechaff's career, from the Marineford War to her skills in strategy. As the press conference progressed, Tanya responded confidently, deftly navigating through the journalists' pointed questions. However, she started to perceive a disparity between the questions asked and her objective of shifting the focus to her ongoing G5 mission.

"Captain Degurechaff, during the Great War, the world was able to discover your different methods of combat, but some describe them as excessively brutal. How do you justify the use of force at this level?"

"My approach to combat is driven by efficiency. As a captain, my goal is to ensure the safety and success of my troops. This sometimes requires difficult decisions, but always in the interest of operational effectiveness."

"It is said that you killed Fire Fist Ace during the Marineford War. How do you explain this action?"

"The Marineford War was a complex conflict with high stakes. My engagement in this battle was motivated by loyalty to the Navy and the preservation of peace. Every action was guided by these principles."

As the questions persisted, Tanya began to feel the need to refocus the interview on her current mission. She took a strategic pause to address the journalists directly. "I understand the interest in my past, but we must keep in mind the purpose of this press conference. I am here to discuss my mission at the G5 and the efforts to turn this unit around. If you have any specific questions on this subject, I would be happy to answer them."

The audience was momentarily silent, then a reporter raised his hand to ask a question related to Tanya's G5 assignment. The journalists, having noted Tanya's desire to focus the press conference on her G5 mission, began to ask questions more directly related to her current assignment.

"Captain Degurechaff, can you tell us about the specific challenges you face in taking charge of the G5, considered one of the most difficult units in the Marine?"

"Certainly. The G5 presents unique challenges, particularly in terms of discipline and public image. My primary goal is to establish a culture of respect and cooperation within the unit while improving its operational effectiveness. We will work on disciplinary reforms and training programs to achieve these goals"

"What are your immediate priorities to improve the image of the G5 within the Marine?"

"We must first restore the trust and credibility of the unit. This involves concrete actions to correct unruly behavior, strengthen training, and establish clear standards. At the same time, we seek to highlight the successes of the G5 in crucial missions for the Marine."

"Can you tell us more about the current composition of the G5 and how you plan to optimize the skills of its members?"

"'The unit has talented members, and our goal is to maximize these skills to create a harmonious force. Individual evaluations are underway, and we are developing customized training programs. We want each member of the G5 to reach their maximum potential."

The questions continued, exploring various aspects of Tanya's G5 assignment. Tanya responded with determination, sharing her vision for the unit and outlining concrete steps taken to transform it into a disciplined and effective force serving the Marine.

Before being able to answer the next question, the moderator clarified to all the journalists present that this would be the last question.

A journalist, skeptical since the start of the conference, spoke with a hint of questioning in his voice.

"Captain Degurechaff, if I may, I find it quite unusual that a person of your stature, so young, has reached the rank of officer so quickly within the Marine. Could you provide more information about your background and how you attained this position?"

Accustomed to this type of questioning, Tanya responded with a measured smile.

"I imagine my rise to fame may seem atypical. Before entering the Marine, I had experiences that shaped my understanding of discipline, strategy, and operational effectiveness. These skills were recognized by my superiors, which allowed me to progress quickly within the hierarchy."

The journalist, visibly dissatisfied with this answer, insisted.

"Can you be more specific about these experiences before entering the Marine?"

Tanya smiled slightly, aware that her delicate response might provoke more questions, but she couldn't completely avoid the reporter's curiosity.

"I fear that the specific details of my previous life are irrelevant to our current discussion. What I can say is that my previous experiences taught me crucial lessons in discipline, leadership, and strategy. These skills, combined with my devotion to the Navy, paved the way for my ascension within this organization."

The journalist, although persistently curious, understood that Tanya would not easily divulge details of her past. He changed the subject, asking mission-oriented questions about the G5 and the unit's plans.

The moderator, aware of the time and direction of the conference, spoke to end the event. "Ladies and gentlemen, we have reached the end of our press conference with Captain Tanya Degurechaff. Thank you all for your insightful questions and participation. If you have additional questions or require further information, please contact the Navy press service. Thank you and have a good day."

After thanking the journalists with a nod, Tanya left the podium. The journalists began to disperse, discussing Tanya's responses and the prospects of the G5 among themselves. The press conference allowed Tanya to present her vision for the G5 while skillfully handling tricky questions about her past. As she retired from the stage, she knew that work on the G5's recovery was only beginning, but this conference was an important step in creating a new image for the often controversial unit.

After exchanging a few words with the moderator backstage, Tanya was abruptly interrupted by the thunder of cannons echoing in the air. A look of surprise settled on her face.

The roar of cannon echoed through the air, creating an atmosphere of tension on the island. Tanya and the moderator, still standing near the OX-Ford, exchanged concerned glances, trying to understand the reason for this show of force on the part of the Marine before heading towards a wall allowing them to observe the origin of this noise.

Scanning the horizon, Tanya quickly spotted a Marine ship proudly flying the flag of the World Government. The ship then began a tour of the island, the cannons firing salvos which echoed across Marineford. Clouds of black smoke rose with each detonation, slightly obscuring the sky, the sound of cannonballs hitting the ground absent.

"They are firing blanks," Tanya realized as she continued to follow the ship with her gaze.

As a Marine captain, Tanya knew that such displays of power were not ordinary. She wondered if this could be linked to an external threat or a specific operation underway. Meanwhile, the moderator frantically tried to contact Marine HQ for information.

"Let's remain cautious. This could be related to an emergency or an ongoing operation. We should get information quickly."

The moderator, after several attempts, finally succeeded in establishing communication with the marine authorities. An authoritative voice echoed through the communication device.

"This is Marine HQ, to all units in Marineford, Ship 417 was hijacked by a pirate group a few days ago. Consider this ship hostile."

Tanya nodded, although she remained curious about the exact nature of this threat. The Marine ship continued its tour, the cannons stopped thundering, but the atmosphere remained tense. The inhabitants of the island observed this demonstration of power with concern.

Always alongside the moderator, Tanya tried to understand the meaning of these blank shots. A soldier, who was observing with the telescope not far from her, then began to panic.

"It's not possible, it can't be him… It's the pirate Monkey D. Luffy." yelled the soldier, who was giving in more and more to panic.

Tanya's expression hardened at this revelation. The situation was taking an even more complex turn. She turned to the moderator.

"Alert Marine HQ immediately. We need to obtain reinforcements and assess the threat posed by this hijacked ship. It is unknown whether any other high-profile pirates are still hiding on this ship. Also, prepare troops for possible actions."

The moderator was aware of the emergency, the moderator took over the communication device to transmit crucial information to Marine HQ. Tanya watched the distant ship intently, wondering what intentions could motivate this pirate to return here.

Observing the hijacked ship approaching with its cannons ready to fire, Tanya made a quick decision, weighing the risks.

"Fire on the ship! Priority to the defense of Marineford!" Yelled Tanya with an authoritative voice

In response to Tanya's order, the Marine's guns roared. Powerful salvos tore through the air, creating columns of smoke as projectiles split the sky toward the hijacked ship.

The battle between the Marine and the pirates began, turning the island of Marineford into the scene of an intense confrontation. Remaining focused despite the surrounding excitement, Tanya continued to coordinate the Marine's forces to defend the island against this unexpected intrusion.

Every cannon shot echoed the unfolding clash, and the outcome of this battle would not only influence the fate of Marineford Island but also mark a new chapter in the tense relationship between the Marine and the notorious pirate.

The Marine cannons spat projectiles toward the hijacked ship, but before they reached their target, a huge column of water suddenly rose from the sea. Jinbe, a member of Luffy's crew, was manifested, using his water manipulator powers to create a protective barrier between the ship and the cannonballs.

Tanya, observing the scene with a mixture of surprise and quick thinking, understood that this confrontation would take on even more complex proportions. She readjusted her strategies while remaining on the alert.

"Adapt! Jinbe uses his water powers. Prepare for a prolonged confrontation and report to Marine HQ that we are dealing with a devil fruit user and the former Grand Corsair Jinbe!"

Faced with the aquatic barrier created by Jinbe, Tanya, a wise strategist, chose to adopt a calculated tactic. She ordered a first salvo of cannons, not to break through Jinbe's defense, but rather as a diversionary maneuver.

"Teams 1 to 5, fire a first salvo! The others, wait for Jinbe's reaction."

The cannons fired again, sending projectiles towards the hijacked ship. Jinbe, still in a defensive position, focused his power on the water column to ward off the attack. The sea roars, the waves forming into a protective barrier against the Marine's assaults.

Watching carefully, Tanya waited for the opportune moment. Once the first salvo was neutralized, she gave the order for a second salvo, aiming to take advantage of the time needed for Jinbe's powers to regenerate.

"Fire the second salvo! Maximize the pressure!"

The second salvo thundered forth with heightened intensity. The cannons created a barrage of projectiles, testing the resilience of Jinbe's defense. The waves were rolling in, but Tanya knew this maneuver was only part of a larger strategy to confront these fearsome pirates.

The island of Marineford vibrated with the roar of cannons, and the battle between the Marine and the pirates took an unpredictable turn, each cannon shot a moving part in this complex game of naval strategy.

Jinbe's initially robust defense faced a sudden test as one man, displaying surprising agility, took the lead. With a skillful gesture, he exploded all the cannonballs with rifle bullets thrown by hand using his Haki.

Jinbe, recognizing the effectiveness of this man's counterattack, quickly adjusted to the new threat. However, the initial surprise gave way to a quick reaction as he summoned his powers to erect a new water barrier, protecting the ship from the devastating projectiles.

Tanya, observing the new individual's counterattack, adjusted her plans accordingly.

"Cease fire! Wait for their next move. Signal to Marine HQ that we will need reinforcement urgently."

The Marine guns slowed, yielding to a tense anticipation. Knowing that formidable adversaries lay ahead, Tanya mentally braced herself for the unfolding events.

Palpable tension gripped Marineford Island. Amidst the raging battle, a soldier observing through a telescope was struck by the desolation of the situation.

Overcome with a sudden feeling of panic, the soldier began to mutter in disbelief: "It's Rayleigh... the former right-hand man of the Pirate King."

Tanya witnessed the soldier shudder as he grasped the gravity of the situation. Sure, she knew Rayleigh through the various Navy records, but even without the official title, he was a legendary pirate, a figure who had once sailed alongside Gol D. Roger. This discovery added another layer to the already difficult task facing the Marine.

"How can we hope to win against someone like Rayleigh? These pirates are of a completely different caliber. We will never be a match for them..." complained one of the soldiers behind her who transmitted his dismay to the other members of the Marine. Soldiers exchanged glances, seeking answers in the eyes of their comrades.

Tanya, sensing the growing concern, shouted her instructions calmly and authoritatively: "Stay focused, soldiers! We must repel this attack at all costs. Signal HQ that we confront a formidable threat, but we won't retreat. "

Despite Tanya's reassuring words, the shadow of uncertainty hung over the island. The encounter with Rayleigh had turned an already difficult battle into an almost insurmountable challenge. The Marine found itself facing adversaries whose reputation far exceeded that of simple pirates.

To Tanya's great surprise, as the hijacked ship completed its tour of the island, it returned to the bay. "I don't see the point of this maneuver, although they may be pirates, they must still suspect that an assault in the bay would be useless given the quantity of cannons present here... unless..."

Recognizing the urgency of the situation, she ordered the entire Marine to launch a coordinated attack to sink the ship, leaving no chance for its occupants to escape.

"Soldiers, this is our best opportunity! Attack from all sides and sink this enemy ship. Leave no chance to land on the island!"

The guns readjusted to concentrate fire on the ship in the bay and thundered in unison. The projectiles rocketed into the sky, tracing deadly arcs toward the target. However, Luffy, Jinbe, and Rayleigh, far from trying to defend the ship, opted for another strategy.

The enemy ship, hit several times, suffered relentless assaults from the Marine. Explosions shook its structure, a sign that its end was imminent. Meanwhile, Luffy, Jinbe, and Rayleigh had managed to reach the place thanks to Luffy's elasticity, thus avoiding the deadly projectiles.

POV: Silver Rayleigh

Location: Marineford

Scanning the horizon, Rayleigh felt the excitement of the surrounding battle. Explosions and cannon salvos formed a cacophony of chaos. Luffy, still elastic, and Jinbe, master of the seas, stood by his side, ready to face the Marine.

The old man thought about this turn of events. The Navy reacted with unexpected ferocity, deploying all its forces to defend the island. The hijacked ship, which had served as an entry point, was now engulfed in a hail of gunfire.

Rayleigh, analyzing the situation, whispered, "The Navy is taking this matter very seriously. It seems like they are willing to do anything to protect this island."

Luffy, brimming with energy, surged forward, his determined gaze fixed on the Navy. "Well, here we go! We're going to show them what we're made of!"

Jinbe, calm and resolute, nodded. Observing the determination in his companions' eyes, Rayleigh joined them in this intense battle. Marineford Square became the stage for an epic confrontation between the Marine and these world-famous pirates.

Rayleigh, thoughtfully, recalled the days when he sailed with Gol D. Roger. The shadow of his former captain loomed over this battle, a battle that seemed to echo that of the past.

"Roger, if only you could see this… your legacy continues to shape the world."

The three pirates, guided by Luffy's will, advanced toward the epicenter of the battle, ready to face any challenges that stood in their way. Marineford Square vibrated with the impact of this confrontation.

The trio pushed their way through the ranks of Marine infantrymen, each movement imbued with tremendous power.

Luffy, with his increased elasticity granted by his Devil Fruit Gomu Gomu no Mi, easily dodged projectile fire. Being perfectly insensitive to bullets, each projectile was sent back in all directions.

With each arm stretch, he grabbed an enemy soldier and threw them through the air. His speed and agility disoriented the infantrymen, leaving them unable to keep up with the rubber man's frenetic pace. Luffy, smiling excitedly, launched devastating attacks with his Gomu Gomu Gatling, sending the soldiers flying in all directions.

After glancing, Jinbe, a martial arts master and expert navigator, demonstrated powerful grace in his fighting style. He used his Fish-Man Karate to counter the infantrymen's attacks, creating whirlwinds of water to repel the attackers. With each movement, Jinbe delivered precise blows, sending the soldiers crashing into each other. His mastery of unarmed combat techniques demonstrated the raw power of the former member of the Seven Warlords.

Rayleigh, with his Haki and incredible combat skill, moved with deadly elegance. Infantrymen who got too close were overwhelmed by the pressure of the Haki, falling unconscious. Rayleigh wielded his sword with exceptional precision, slicing through the air and neutralizing enemies who attempted to intervene. His experience and mastery of Haki made him a formidable opponent at all times.

The trio, coordinating their movements with perfect synchronization, moved inexorably toward the Ox-Ford bell. The Marine infantrymen, although numerous, found themselves powerless against the combined might of Luffy, Jinbe, and Rayleigh. Every step the pirates took was a challenge to the Marines; every adversary in their path found themselves neutralized, and the echoes of the battles resonated through the streets of Marineford.

Rayleigh remembered the moment when the plan had been developed on an island near Amazon Lily with Luffy, Jinbe, and Viktoriya. Sitting around a map drawn on the sand, the four individuals had discussed the strategic details of reaching Marineford and ringing the Ox-Ford bell.

Rayleigh, staring at the map, remembered the lively discussions between the members of this unlikely team. Viktoriya, despite being unfamiliar with the various events, had listened attentively to the plans and asked insightful questions. She had shown marked interest in the mission, but something in her eyes suggested hesitation.

"She had all the skills to be there with us, but something was holding her back."

As the memories flooded into his mind, Rayleigh understood why Viktoriya had not joined the expedition to Marineford. Viktoriya's past events, her amnesia, and the lingering threat of the little blonde Navy girl had prompted her to stay back.

Rayleigh, reflecting: "She seems haunted by her past, by things that remained unclear even to her. This Marine was a threat she could not ignore."

The dangers associated with the mission, combined with the mysteries surrounding Viktoriya, had led to the decision to leave her behind on the Isle of Women. Viktoriya had accepted this resolution, understanding that her presence could have compromised the mission.

Rayleigh, muttering to himself, "She had her challenges to overcome. Maybe one day she can free herself from her fears."

Rayleigh felt both the heaviness of the choices and the trust in this ephemeral crew. Viktoriya, even physically absent, remained an integral part of their story, an enigma to be solved in the future. The battle at Marineford continued, and every decision made on this island near Amazon Lily was tested in the heat of battle.

Rayleigh, aware of the likely presence of journalists in Marineford after the Great War, had asked Luffy to prepare a cryptic message that only the members of his crew could understand despite their separation. After his brother's death, he was aware that the latter wanted to find them at all costs. But after what happened on the archipelago, the Straw Hat crew weren't ready for the new world yet.

At first, reluctant to see his friends again quickly, Luffy nevertheless accepted Rayleigh's request, after listening to his arguments and, to the old man's great surprise, Viktoriya offered to help Luffy work on the message.

The result was a message that, at first glance, seemed innocuous to an outside observer, but which would resonate deeply with those who had shared every moment of this [3D2Y] adventure.

Snapping out of his thoughts, Rayleigh focused his attention on the immediate goal: helping Luffy reach the Ox Ford Bell. "Luffy, let's go. Let's get to that bell !"

The young man, still full of energy, followed Rayleigh through the pitfalls of the battlefield. The two, with astonishing coordination, avoided enemy attacks and headed straight for their destination. Each step brought Luffy closer to the bell which symbolized the pirates' determination. Jinbe, for his part, stayed behind, covering their backs to always keep an exit available.

Arriving in front of the Ox Ford bell, Luffy, a big smile appearing on the young man's face, leaped onto the structure holding the massive bell in place and prepared to ring out the iconic sound. He raised his fist in the air, ready to strike the bell.

"It's time, guys! Get ready to hear that bell!" Luffy yelled as he started ringing the bell.

Rayleigh, next to him, observed with pride the young man he had seen grow and evolve throughout their journey. "This is the moment when Roger's will is passed on to the new generation."

Luffy, with unleashed force, hit the Ox-Ford bell for the first time. The powerful sound echoed across the island, marking the beginning of a symbolic declaration of war against the Navy and the World Government.

The bell rang repeatedly, each ring affirming the pirate's determination to defy established norms. The vibrations of the sound spread, creating a shockwave that touched the very heart of Marineford. The crew's mission was underway, and each ring of the bell was an act of defiance against the established order.

Rayleigh, watching Luffy with undeniable pride, felt the symbolic weight of each bell ring. However, even before reaching ten moves, a disruptive incident occurred. Luffy was violently slammed into an unidentified shape, his head hitting the bell and causing it to ring temporarily. Rayleigh, surprised, turned to identify the origin of this attack.

To his great surprise, he noticed that a little blonde was the cause of the impact. She seemed to have propelled herself from the wall a little further. The violent shock had sent Luffy flying several meters away, his inert body testifying to the power of the girl's attack.

The presence of this girl, beyond her physical impact on Luffy, aroused growing concern in Rayleigh. Her aura exuded a latent sense of menace, far beyond what the old man could have anticipated. The lack of communication between them added to the heavy atmosphere that enveloped the scene.

There she stood, a force both calculating and implacable. Her impassive face contrasted with the intensity of her gaze, an undeniable sign that this navy was no ordinary adversary. Rayleigh, with his experience accumulated over the years, felt the weight of the threat posed by this little blonde.

"I don't understand why this navy is still in Marineford, they should have been sent to the New World. What are they doing here? Their potential far exceeds this battle."

The lack of words between them was not due to a lack of opportunity, but rather a mutual decision to maintain verbal distance. It was as if their silent gazes communicated more than words ever could.

Rayleigh knew she was far more dangerous than he expected, and that added a layer of complexity to an already tense battle. The mysterious marine represented an enigma, an unpredictable threat to the already delicate situation at Marineford.

POV Tanya Degurechaff

Location: Marineford

Tanya observed the scene with apparent calm, her gaze analyzing every detail of the Marineford battlefield. The Ox-Ford Bell seemed to be the center of attention, and she wondered what the pirate's goal was in trying to reach it.

"What is the meaning of all this, Straw Hat?"

The sound of the bell began to echo through the air, each stroke carrying with it a particular symbolism. Tanya, although mastering the art of war, was faced with a situation that she could not yet fully decode.

"This is more than just a diversion. We would have already detected enemy ships if that were the case. There is something deeper in this action."

She stayed behind, watching Luffy and his companions act. In her strategic mind, she wondered what the message behind each bell could be. The tension in the air was palpable, and Tanya was determined to understand the pirate captain's motivations.

"No matter what message you try to send, it will not change the facts. The Marine will maintain order, even in the face of such confusing actions," Tanya yelled before activating her calculation orb that she had prepared before joining the journalists.

The computing orb, under Tanya's masterful control, propelled her at breakneck speed towards the Ox-Ford bell. Luffy, focused on his symbolic act, did not immediately perceive the rapid approach of the blonde marine.

The shock was sudden, leaving a trail of magical energy in the air. Tanya slammed into Luffy with calculated force, abruptly interrupting the bell ritual. A flash of surprise flashed in Luffy's eyes as he was sent backward by the force of the impact.

The shock of colliding with the Ox-Ford bell was so brutal for Luffy that his head hit the bell, creating a dull sound that echoed throughout Marineford.

Luffy's head was still ringing from the impact of the bell, and he was struggling to maintain his balance. Tanya, determined to put an end to this symbolic intrusion, prepared to take action. The marine granite handcuffs in her hands represented the emblem of the Navy's authority, ready to neutralize the pirate captain.

"The end of this charade is near, Straw Hat."

She threw herself forward, ready to apply the handcuffs to the stunned pirate's wrists. However, her movement was interrupted unexpectedly. Jinbe, the Straw Hat Pirates' ally, intervened with surprising speed. With a powerful gesture, he sent Luffy in the direction of Rayleigh, out of Tanya's reach.

Panting, Jinbe yelled at the soldiers, "You won't touch him again, marine."

The former Warlord stared at Tanya with a defiant gaze. Tanya, despite the interruption, maintained her apparent calm, ready to reassert the Marine authority.

"If you get in the way, Jinbe, it's a mistake you will regret."

With these words, Tanya's computing orb glowed blue, ready to respond to the slightest command from its creator. The seastone handcuffs eerily glowed between her fingers.

"I will not let the Navy do as it pleases."

Tanya, suppressing all emotion, issued a cold threat. "If you persist, I won't hesitate to cut off your other hand, Jinbe. That's how Marine justice works."

Without warning, Tanya rushed in the direction of Jinbe, who was taken by surprise. He raised his fist forward and rushed at Tanya with astonishing speed. The young mage, however, anticipated every move, maneuvering with agility to deflect the powerful blows.

Despite the corpulence of her opponent, he managed to chain blows with astonishing speed, making the young girl retreat further and further toward the houses. Her back quickly hit the wall of a house, and Tanya knew she couldn't go back. "I can't afford to have civilian casualties on my record! It could ruin my career…"

To prevent possible damage to nearby structures, Tanya deployed her magical shield to resist the fisherman's brutal force.

The Fishman was initially taken aback by his opponent's ability but continued to throw devastating punches: "The sea may not surround me, but my strength remains unwavering."

Unable to compete in terms of physical strength with her opponent, Tanya used her orb to fly away to escape the situation in which she found herself. "I shouldn't reveal my abilities right away; it's better to pass it off as a jump." Back on the ground, she found herself about fifteen steps from the former Warlord.

"I may not look it, but I am capable of stopping abilities as destructive as yours," Tanya boasted while deploying her mage blade on her right arm, making the former Warlord shiver as he remembered how he lost his hand.

Jinbe, determined to overcome Tanya's strange abilities, charged forward with impressive speed. However, the girl, anticipating this attack, quickly deployed a smoke grenade on the ground. A dense cloud rose quickly, enveloping Tanya in a smoky veil.

Taking advantage of her momentary concealment, Tanya used her illusion spell. Doubles of herself began to appear little by little, dancing in the fog like elusive mirages. Jinbe, disoriented by the cloud of smoke and the multiplication of Tanya, tried to spot the real mage among the misleading illusions.

"Smoke and illusions, what is the origin of this power…"

Each of the clones reacted to Jinbe's movements, creating unsettling confusion. The fish warrior, seeking to thwart this tactic, attacked several doubles with precise movements. However, in this ethereal dance, the real Tanya snuck up behind him.

Tanya, appearing behind Jinbe: "Knowledge will do you no good; accept your fate now in the name of justice."

In one swift motion, Tanya repeatedly stabbed Jinbe in the back, skillfully exploiting the opening left by his attempt to counter the illusions. Every blow was surgically precise.

"I may not know the anatomy of fishmen, but I believe I struck several organs. With the immense amount of blood he has just lost, I don't think he will be able to survive... Victory is mine. With that, I should be able to request my promotion and request to cancel my assignment to the G5 for a permanent position at HQ," Tanya thought, proud of herself, a big smile forming on her lips.

After a final convulsion from his opponent, the latter collapsed to the ground, bleeding out at a terrifying speed. In his agony, Jinbe let out a long wheeze that was quickly interrupted by the blood accumulating in his mouth.

POV Silver Rayleigh

Location: Marineford

The heavy silence that followed Tanya's fatal blow to Jinbe was broken by the gruesome sound of the fish warrior's body stiffening. The seconds passed slowly, each one marked by the inexorable reality of death that was taking hold of Jinbe.

"Jinbe!" yelled Luffy, boiling with anger and grief at the loss of his friend, preparing to launch himself toward the little blonde to avenge Jinbe. However, Rayleigh, his eyes brimming with tears, quickly intervened.

The heartbreaking emotions showed on Rayleigh's face as he stopped Luffy from engaging in an immediate confrontation.

Jinbe's body, in its agony, let out an immense hiss, a shrill sound that rents the air of the Ox-Ford platform at Marineford. However, this hissing was cut short abruptly, muffled by the blood accumulating in the fishman warrior's mouth. Every note of the hiss was filled with suffering, testifying to the struggle against death that was taking hold of him.

"No, Jinbe ! Let me go, Rayleigh. She took my brother and my friend from me in such a short time," Luffy shouted with tears in his eyes.

The seconds seemed to drag on, as the sound of the whistling faded into the deathly silence that enveloped the platform. Rayleigh, his eyes clouded with tears, felt the weight of the tragedy that had just struck. He understood that each cry, each breath of Jinbe, was a poignant melody that marked the end of a courageous life.

"Jinbe fought with honor until the end. His cry will be etched in our memories. Luffy, now is not the time. You are not ready to fight this fight; don't forget why we came here. We have to go. Jinbe's friend shouldn't be long," Rayleigh whispered while dragging Luffy towards the bay.

The reality of Jinbe's loss weighed on all the witnesses present on the platform. The hissing, now extinguished, gave way to a funeral silence, emphasizing the brutality of the confrontation that had cost the life of the brave fish warrior.

Rayleigh, still holding Luffy, observed Jinbe's last moments with sadness and respect. The sea, a silent witness to many tragedies, continued to cradle the agony of the fish warrior.

Once near the bay, a whale shark majestically emerged from the tumultuous waters as if to answer the last call of their friend. Rayleigh, understanding the urgency of the situation, guided Luffy toward the sea giant's back. They quickly took refuge there, ready to evacuate Marineford.

As the whale shark carried them away from the battlefield, Rayleigh scanned the horizon. He noticed the young girl heading in their direction, but her enigmatic expression gave no immediate indication of fighting intent. A confusing face, mixing an unhealthy aura that even seemed to frighten the Marine soldiers present.

"This little girl is dangerous, Luffy, more than you can imagine."

As they gradually moved away on the back of a whale shark, Rayleigh and Luffy observed Tanya turn her back on their escape and head again towards Jinbe's lifeless body. Her enigmatic attitude even intrigued the journalists present, who captured every moment of this tragedy through their lenses.

"Luffy, it's time to deliver a message. These reporters need to understand what happened."

The young man, on the back of the whale shark, nodded in agreement.

"Understood, Rayleigh. I'll do it," Luffy replied in a determined tone.

Luffy, although with a heavy heart, understood the importance of this communication. He delivered his message by removing the bandage he had around his arm, revealing the 3D2Y tattoo he had prepared with Visha. He removed his straw hat from his head and placed it near his heart, paying tribute at the same time to their deceased friend.
