In the end, Usagi took two days to let herself heal. Although truth be told, it was all at Mamoru's insistence. Had it been up to her, she would have been back at everything the moment she stopped crying. And conversely, if it had been up to Mamoru, she'd have taken a break for at least a week.

The first thing she did, after hugging Minako and apologizing to Kunzite, was to host a meeting to go over the news from Sapphire and Naru. Luna had tried to prioritize everything that had been happening, and she marked their newest developments as top on her list to discuss. It was gratifying for her to hear that Usagi agreed, but it shocked her just how much she did. Luna hadn't realized the impact mentioning "The Order of the Van Helsings" would have on Usagi.

And so the whole group, supernatural and humans alike, all met in the penthouse living room. Luna had also taken it upon herself to replace the mysteriously ruined furniture. And while she did that, she ordered enough seating to fit everyone. Along with all the supernatural, which included a miffed Shingo because he was left out of the fight against the undead, the guests included Grandpa Hino, Yamato, Hatori, and Motoki.

Sapphire started, "You've heard of The Order?"

"Yes," Usagi replied. She then said, "For the rest of you, though, it all starts with one founding member. I'm sure you can guess that it is Abraham Van Helsing. He was redicusoly good at self-promotion, and his legacy proves that. The members of that group throughout history have been brainwashed into revering him. Not only that, but they hold Lucy up as a martyr for their cause." Usagi made a very unimpressed face.

"But Lucy's alive," Grandpa Hino pointed out, confused.

"It's all based on lies," Usagi said, making a frustrated arm motion. "Van Helsing needed to form his group on the premise that he wasn't a complete and utter failure at his newly chosen vocation. Propaganda has existed for over a millennia, and he was incredibly good at it." She looked at Sapphire and Naru. "I shudder to find out how you learned about them. Please tell me you didn't come in contact with anyone from that group. They are absolutely horrible."

Naru frowned and leaned against Sapphire for comfort. As he wrapped his arm around her, she tried to muster up her courage. She knew this could all be very dangerous. Satoru had been her father for a while now, and she loved him. She was aware there was a risk in telling the group about him and the danger that could result for him. Still, she knew it was the right thing to do. And, after the meeting with him at the arcade, she at least had some things to offer there regarding helpful information.

She bit her lip and said, "Well, that's the thing…" She paused, trying to continue to rally some more courage. She pushed through, "M-my stepfather, my dad really, is pretty high ranking in the Kanto branch of The Order." Naru looked at Usagi very nervously as Sapphire tightened his hold on her for comfort.

Sapphire watched as Usagi went perfectly still. He admired her self-control. Everyone knew she could be set off again at any time, and he was worried that this might do it. After all, The Order was a threat to all vampires, including Mamoru.

Not receiving anything from Usagi, Naru pressed on. "It's been a difficult few days. Growing up, I didn't know what the signet ring meant that he had on his finger. He had it the whole time I knew him. Then Sapphire saw it and told me what it meant…." She shuddered. "Like I said. It's been hard."

Luna watched as Usagi's gaze shifted to her. She knew it was because she had told Usagi that she was on top of everything and was working to keep everyone safe so Usagi could take time to heal emotionally. Luna said, "They haven't been home to their apartment since he's figured out what they are. I also had cameras and heat sensors put in place so that I could monitor any activity. There hasn't been any movement in that apartment." She then added, "And I've looked into what they are going to tell you next and verified that her love for him isn't blinding her. She is being wise."

Usagi smiled at Luna, "Well done. As soon as I heard that you were keeping an eye on things, it brought me comfort. I thank you for doing all of this."

Naru had a small smile at Luna's evident joy over Usagi's words. Then she watched as Usagi's head turned, and her focus was back on her. Naru continued on with what happened. "Sapphire had called Luna to update her, and she instantly offered us her support." She leaned more into Sapphire's for comfort and said, "My dad, he's still extremely wary, but he's not convinced The Order is right anymore."

Sapphire added, "It's hard for a good man to go against his daughter, even when he's been indoctrinated since he was nineteen. Despite meeting with The Order recently, he promises that he hasn't told them about us."

Jumping in, Luna added, "And after hacking Niko's pitiful firewall protection, I was able to verify that he was telling the truth."

"Niko?" Kunzite asked.

It surprised Naru and Sapphire when Usagi knew precisely who the man was. "The leader of the Kanto division of The Order," she explained. "His father was the leader before him." She then scowled and said, "Niko's own mother was a witch with very little power. Of course, his father didn't know that when he married her. She went 'missing' eventually, and I suspect his father killed her."

"He did. I found that evidence, too," Luna said. "When I hacked Niko's computer, I discovered the proof of what happened. The sick part was he was part of the 'ritual,' as they called it. That sick bastard killed his own mother out of his hatred for anything supernatural."

"And?" Artemis prompted her.

Luna smiled. "I immediately told the sexiest detective I know, and he has already had Niko arrested. Sadly, his father died two years ago, and we can't have that rat bastard arrested too." She then cracked a smile. "He did die getting hit by a car, though. I call it car-karma. Get it!?" Everyone laughed at her joke.

Usagi smiled, "You're awesome, Luna." She then turned to Naru, "What does that mean for Satoru? You said he was higher up in the organization."

Naru nervously replied, "It makes him the president." She watched as Usagi waited patiently for the rest. So she continued, "I know that makes him the leader of our enemy. Please don't kill him," she begged.

Mamoru spoke up with confidence. "We don't have mercy on our enemies. That said, it's not evident that he actually is one. Usagi doesn't kill the innocent."

"I told him about Amo's tablets and showed them to him," Naru said instantly, encouraged by Mamour's words. She was desperate to show her hope that he wouldn't become their true enemy. "They were a big deal to him. It was drilled into him that drinking human blood at all was a horrible thing to do. And I showed him proof that there is a way to mitigate the need for human blood."

Sapphire nodded and added, "I believe that with where he is in his new journey, it's important that Naru talks to him. He has an easier time listening to a vampire that hasn't ever had any human blood. Usagi, you and I know the level of indoctrination they do in that damn group. It's so bad it convinced a boy to aid in the murder of her mother when his father discovered she was a witch. I'm impressed with Satoru and what I see as a genuine willingness to question his beliefs. Don't get me wrong, he's not on our side, but he's not against us at the moment either."

Usagi said, "And the leader of local The Order is questioning the group's tenants. That's huge. Not to mention that he has a vampire daughter that, deep down, he doesn't want to hate." She sighed, "And Luna said she verified this all?" She asked, knowing the answer but wanting to hear the details.

"Yes," Luna confirmed. "I've been monitoring him, and I profiled him and his actions. He has all the tells of a deeply conflicted man."

"Which is why," Sapphire said. "I am hoping someone else can go with Naru when she meets with her father. I don't want her to go alone, but my past, especially my recent past, might be hard for him to swallow. He hasn't started asking me questions, but he will. I was forced," he stressed as Naru was about to interject. "But that doesn't mean he'll see it that way. Even if he doesn't blame me, the fact that Diamond was a supernatural might only reinforce his beliefs." Naru was glad she couldn't blush anymore because he was exactly right about what she was about to say.

"And if we succeed?" Mamoru asked, speaking up. "We have the leader of The Order for the Kanto region on our side, right?"

Sapphire nodded but insisted, "And Naru has her family around her too. Don't forget that."

Usagi stepped in, "Trust me when I say we understand how important family is. We've done quite a lot to find out about Mamoru's own parents. He's just worried about me losing myself again. Especially with knowing that the leader of The Order here knows someone we care about. If he were to decide against her, besides the hurt of the family bond breaking, it would mean we were all involved. No way would we leave Naru to handle this on her own, for good or bad."

Zoisite grumbled, "Great, he maybe kinda possibly doesn't want to kill us on sight. This sucks!" Naru went to object, and Sapphire gently shook his head at her. He understood the protective werewolf's reason for being angry. Naru understood completely when Zoisite continued by saying, "And Ami is the best one to go with her. She's the one who invented the blood tablets. And it was because she didn't like the need to drink from humans, so he'll like that. Plus, she has been over to Naru's house for sleepovers in middle school and high school. So he knows her and trusts her." She realized his issue was that his mate had to be involved at all.

Ami said, "And he makes the best desserts."

It was Shingo who asked, "And how are you handling this all, Usagi? I know what that group means to you."

"What does that mean?" Artemis asked, perplexed along with most everyone else.

Usagi sighed and explained, "It would have been The Order of the Van Helsings that would have come after me to try and kill me if Mamoru hadn't been able to pull me back. Historically they'd dispatch ten to fifteen regional groups to hunt down a vampire who's gone as far as I have."

Hatori piped up and asked, "But that's over now, right?"

"No. If they find out what has happened, that I went that far, they will still try to hunt me down. Honestly, they would hunt me anyway. I know my name is on a list in their main office in Romania." Usagi looked around the room and added, "That is if they aren't nervous after what happened last time they tried to kill me."

"What happened?" Makoto asked. "Tell me you kicked their asses!"

"I killed all of the ones sent after me. Once they come for you, there is no end except in death. I just chose their deaths over mine. All twenty-four of them."

Sapphire cursed, and Naru looked startled. He said, "Oh, that's…." He then paused and thought a moment. "And if they sent the Kanto group after you?"

Usagi rolled her eyes, "I would kill every one of them except Naru's father. It would be worth holding him captive to keep him from killing me." She looked directly at Naru. "I won't hurt anyone you love if I can help it in any way."

A bit more discussion happened, but in the end, there wasn't much resolution to anything. They all knew Satoru was conflicted over his beliefs and the new information he'd gotten. And because of Luna, they were sure he hadn't told anyone about them –yet.

The discussion next moved on to Minako and her recovery. She admitted to being surprised that her energy had been sapped for so long. It was Sapphire that explained to her that the distance added to the pull on her life force. And that since the girl, who was healed of cancer, was back in England, that would mean it was a massive draw on her body.

Kunzite then explained how Ami and Makoto were bringing Minako blood to help her heal. He did get them all laughing when he put in his own personal objection to some of the men they had brought by. He explained they were too handsome, and he wanted Usagi to outlaw that completely. That just got everyone laughing harder, and he ended up "pouting," according to Minako.

The humor had released some of the tension in the room after discussing The Order. But Usagi knew it was time to bring up a serious subject again and what needed to be said. So she spared Luna from having to bring it up. "Mamoru brought me back from something no one's been brought back from before. It might always have been possible to do it, but in the past, the vampire was always killed first. Though I suspect that what Mamoru did was actually nearly impossible for anyone to have done before." She pulled back her shirt collar and showed her double-mated mark.

Jadeite said, "To translate for those in the room that aren't werewolves, no, she's not just flashing us all her bra strap. She has two werewolf mated marks." Even he didn't make the obvious joke about the possibility of her having two different werewolf mates.

She added, "Something is up."

Rei nodded, "I can feel your bond. It's incredibly strong. I mean, all of ours are strong, but yours is almost tangible to me."

"Interesting, so you can feel bonds," Usagi commented, immensely impressed.

"Yeah, I just didn't want to say anything because…" She paused and tried to figure out how to put what she was going to hint at. Instead, she just decided to tell everyone the truth. "Not everyone here has met the one they're bonded to. I wanted them to have the chance to fall in love naturally."

Grandpa Hino asked, "Then why not at least tell me that you could feel supernatural bonds?"

"It's not just supernatural bonds that I can feel, Grandpa. And the reason is because I knew once I told you that the woman you're bonded to is fifteen years younger than you, you'd want to know more." She winked at him. "But I'm not tel-ling," she said in a sing-song voice.

Usagi laughed at the pleased face Grandpa Hino had at that revelation. She then asked, getting back on topic, "And the headache I caused for you, Yamato? I am sorry about that?"

"Piece of cake," he replied quickly, brushing it off. When she looked at him skeptically, he smirked and added, "Hugely massive paperwork error. What do you know, they all accidentally went to be cremated before I could finish the autopsies. Oops," he said with a huge smile on his face.

Hatori grumbled, "And now I have the headache of trying to figure out a way around having to give him an official reprimand."

"I keep telling you it would be the only one in my file, and I'm fine with it. I did it protecting those I care about. She's practically like a daughter to me now."

The rest of the evening was spent catching up on everything that was going on and spending time laughing together. Usagi felt she was healing a bit more just being able to be herself again.
